MCC Corporate Membership Opportunity Merriam businesses can now apply for a Corporate Membership, where employees can purchase Merriam Community Center memberships at the resident rate. To qualify for this benefit, a company representative must complete an application and submit a current business license. Once approved, employees will need to provide a paystub or identification card as proof of employment when they join the MCC. The MCC offers this unique opportunity to thank local businesses for their significant role in supporting Merriam Parks and Recreation events and programs. Membership provides full access to the 66,000-square-foot community center, including an indoor pool with slides, lazy river, lap lanes, and a warm water therapy pool; outdoor pool with lap lanes, diving boards, and zip line; industry-leading fitness equipment; walking/jogging track; full-size gym with options for basketball, volleyball, and pickleball; and space to host events. Residency is defined as someone who resides within Merriam city limits or someone who owns taxable real estate within city limits. Proof required with a valid driver’s license or state ID, current city business license, or Notice of Appraised Value issued by the Johnson County Assessor’s Office. Household memberships include 2 adults and up to 4 dependent children as defined by the IRS Qualifying Age Rule. Children age 18–24 must provide proof of residency. Additional dependents can be added for a fee.
