«TECHNOLOGY IS NOT JUST A TOOL, BUT AN OPPORTUNITY TO MAKE BUSINESS SMARTER, MORE EFFICIENT AND MORE COMPETITIVE»
In today’s business environment, where the speed of change is impressive and competition is only growing, strategic vision, efficiency, and innovation play a key role. These are the principles that underpin the activities of “Red Roof Management” LLC, a company specializing in commercial real estate and operational asset management. Its CEO, Dmytro GRILBERG, shared his vision of the market.
– Mr. Dmytro, let’s start with introductions. Tell us more about your professional activities.
– I am a person who is always moving forward. In business, I value strategy, efficiency and innovation, and in life – a balance between work, family and personal development.
I manage “Red Roof Management” LLC, a company engaged in commercial real estate and operational asset management. We create not just objects, but effective business models, where every detail is thought out for maximum productivity.
There are no quick solutions in our field. Commercial real estate is a strategy for years, and my approach is based on thorough market analysis, careful calculations and the ability to adapt to changes. I believe that success is a balance between long-term perspective and operational decisions, and the main thing in management is to see potential where others see only square meters.
Over the past year, we have significantly expanded our business, increased the number of managed assets and introduced new technologies in the field of buildings’ operation. AI analytics, automated facility management, and energyefficient solutions make our company a leader in its segment.
OUR SPECIAL FEATURE IS A PERSONALISED APPROACH AND A DEEP UNDERSTANDING OF THE MARKET, WHICH ALLOWS US TO OFFER SOLUTIONS THAT BEST MEET OUR CLIENTS' NEEDS
• restaurant business – we are actively developing this area, preparing for the opening of the “Living Room” cafe, and have already created a concept and started implementing the “Kyivans” coffee shop.
• consulting services – we help property owners optimise the use of facilities and increase their profitability.
In addition to business, I am actively involved in sports, take care of my health and follow the principles of a conscious lifestyle. I am convinced that a leader must be in good shape - physically, intellectually and emotionally.
But most importantly, I love my job because it allows me not only to manage assets but also to create value, influence the market and find solutions where others see only difficulties.
– What services do you offer to Ukrainian clients? What is their uniqueness?
– We provide a wide range of services in the field of commercial real estate and restaurant business:
• property management – we ensure effective operation and maintenance of buildings, which allows clients to focus on developing their business.
– What key management principles do you consider to be the most important for a successful commercial real estate business?
– The key to a successful business in the field of commercial real estate is:
• Long-term strategic thinking. Commercial real estate is a game for years, so it is important to anticipate market development, changes in legislation and tenant behaviour.
• Flexibility and adaptability. The market is constantly changing: new technologies appear, tenants’ requirements increase, so it is necessary to respond quickly to challenges.
• Effective asset management. Each object should bring maximum profit at optimal costs.
• Partnerships. Reputation is the most valuable asset in our industry.
The trust of customers and partners is the key to stable development.
• Control of finances and operational efficiency. Every hryvnia should work for results.
– How is the commercial real estate market changing in Ukraine? What trends do you consider to be the most important?
– Today, there is a growing demand for multifunctional spaces. It is no longer enough for businesses to simply rent square metres. Comfort, developed infrastructure and additional services are becoming more important. There is also a trend towards improving the quality of real estate – tenants increasingly prefer modern facilities with a high level of energy efficiency and technological equipment.
In addition, the market is being actively digitised. Real estate management is increasingly using CRM systems, IoT solutions and artificial intelligence to help manage assets efficiently. Investments in commercial
property have also become more selective: not only the location but also the level of operational management of the property is now important.
– Mr. Dmytro, what challenges do commercial real estate owners face today? How can they be solved?
– One of the biggest challenges is the increase in operating costs. The solution here is obvious – the introduction of energyefficient technologies and cost optimisation. Tenant demands are also changing, so owners need to flexibly adapt rental conditions, invest in comfort and infrastructure development.
Economic instability also significantly affects the market, so it is important to work with long-term tenants and competently form a pricing policy. Another challenge is changes in legislation. Proactive monitoring of new regulations and cooperation with experts helps here, so that you are always aware of changes and act ahead of time.
– What role does innovation play in your business? What technologies are you actively implementing?
– For us, innovation is not just a trend, but a necessity. We are actively implementing artificial intelligence in the management of business centres and the restaurant business. For example, AI analytics allows us to predict customer behaviour and create profitable offers for tenants. In the field of energy consumption, artificial intelligence analyses resource consumption and automatically adjusts systems to optimise it.
Another important area is the automation of processes in the restaurant business. Algorithms predict demand and help to manage inventory efficiently, as well as generate personalised marketing offers for customers, increasing their loyalty.
Technology is not just a set of tools, but an opportunity to make business smarter, more efficient and competitive.

Today, when Ukraine courageously resists full-scale aggression, support from the international community and concerned citizens takes on special importance. In the vortex of the events that shook the world in 2022, the “FutureforUkraine” charitable foundation was born, headed by Vitalii PRON.
– Mr. Vitalii, it is a pleasure to meet you! You are the founder and chairman of the board of the FutureforUkraine Charitable Foundation. Please tell us more about your professional activities.
– The FutureforUkraine Foundation was founded after the fullscale invasion of Ukraine by the Russian aggressor in 2022. During this time, the foundation has been constantly engaged in the rehabilitation of Ukrainian soldiers and children affected by Russian aggression in Czech clinics. At the same time, the Foundation provides humanitarian aid to various social institutions in Ukraine, including hospitals. Among them is the Okhmatdyt children’s hospital, with which we have signed a memorandum of cooperation. We also support
orphanages. In addition, we create and provide assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
– What projects over the past year are you most proud of?
– Absolutely all implemented projects that are directly aimed at supporting and developing Ukraine. These initiatives play a key role for the state and society today. Our work plays an important role in strengthening Ukraine’s economy, improving the social sphere, providing humanitarian aid, etc.
– What motivates you to implement such important projects? What ideas guide you?
– Perhaps what motivates and inspires me the most is the deep desire to feel like an integral
part of Ukraine, even while being here in Europe. This is not just a geographical location – it is an inner conviction of belonging, of being able to represent and support my country on the European stage. It is a great honor for me, because I can be a kind of bridge between cultures, convey the Ukrainian voice and contribute to a better understanding of our state. And this is undoubtedly an important life mission – to be faithful to my roots, wherever I am.
– Who are you inviting to join your activities today? For what purpose?
– We appeal to everyone who cares about the future of Ukraine, to everyone whose heart hurts for our country. We express our special gratitude to all representatives of the Czech government who have demonstrated unwavering solidarity with Ukraine. Among them, we would like to mention the President of the Czech Republic, Mr. Petr Pavel, whose recent visit to Ukraine and his personal acquaintance with many Ukrainian regions is a clear indication of his deep support and understanding of our needs.
– Vitalii, there are a lot of charitable foundations today, and all of them certainly have noble goals. What is special about your foundation?
– Transparency, stability and sincere patriotism for the present and future of Ukraine.

In the modern world, where scientific progress is the driving force of society’s development, figures of scientists who combine deep knowledge with practical experience are of particular value. One such personality is Tetiana MELIKHOVA, a recognized specialist who was awarded the title of «Scientist of the Year.»
— Tetiana, we are glad to see you again in our information space. Last time we talked about your medical practice, but you also have significant scientific achievements. Tell us more about your dissertation and its topic.
— In return, I am glad to have the opportunity to cover the topic of medicine and science again in these difficult times for our country. While researching pathologies of the female reproductive system, I found out that adenomyosis is one of the three most common diseases. This disorder is characterised by menstrual disorders, problems in sexual life, and severe pain, which generally negatively affects a woman’s quality of life. So I decided to investigate this condition in more depth. The topic of my dissertation was: “Improving early diagnostics to predict the development of adenomyosis and determine the criteria for treatment effectiveness”.
— What attracts you to scientific activity?
— For any clinician, it is extremely important to understand the causes of a pathological condition. By understanding the root cause, we can either prevent the development of the disease or be more effective in treatment. But I have always wanted not only to follow the established algorithms, but also to be among those who create and research these algorithms.
— What patents do you have today and what are you working on now?
— I have a patent for utility model No. 140912 dated 10.03.2020 – “Method for diagnosing adenomyosis”, which contains an improved step-by-step algorithm for determining the presence of this pathological condition. I also have a certificate of copyright registration for the work No. 108868 dated 21.10.2021 – “Questionnaire for assessing the quality of life of patients with adenomyosis”. Currently, I continue to work on this topic, publish scientific articles based on the results of my research and participate in scientific and practical conferences.
— Tetiana, what is your main goal exactly in the scientific field?
— I have a lot of plans for the future, including scientific development. Balancing my practice and family life, I try to devote enough time to scientific research. I really enjoy sharing my knowledge and experience with colleagues and teaching students. I believe that knowledge transfer is the best way to leave a mark on science.
— Finally, add a few words for your colleagues.
— Continuous development is extremely important for any profession, especially for doctors. Therefore, dear colleagues, young doctors, scientists and students, I wish you strength and inspiration in your daily hard work. Keep believing in your capabilities and never stop on the path to knowledge.

oday, in the face of difficult challenges, the stories of strong and inspirational individuals who continue to move forward and lead their teams despite the difficulties are becoming extremely valuable. Oksana TYKHONENKO, the leader and CEO of “Eurasia” restaurant chain, shares her vision of the present and the future.
— Oksana, how do you find inspiration and what motivates you in everyday life, especially in difficult moments?
— Now it is very difficult to be constantly resourceful and inspired. But I cannot close myself in a shell and live my worries inside myself, because “Eurasia” is a big team that constantly needs support. I try to read more fiction, which carries only positive emotions in its subtext. When I understand that I have already reached the limit, everything accumulated overwhelms me, I go on vacation for a few days. My incredible team motivates me, first of all and also – the expectation of victory and responsibility to the country. In everyday life, I am motivated by my son’s successes, the smiles of my loved ones and relatives.
— Let’s talk about leadership. What do you use to inspire your team in such a difficult time for our country?
— Today, a leader is, first of all, a manager who leads and sets an example
in everything. Empathy is a very valuable quality for a leader. It is important to catch the wave of your employee at a certain moment and go through this path with him or her. ”Eurasia” is a socially responsible company, and it is very important for everyone to be involved in this. “Eurasia” provides daily assistance to the military, the needy, and orphans.
— How do you cope with the challenges of the current economic situation?
— Taking into account the rhythm of life, having calculated the cost of a meal prepared at home, sometimes it is more profitable to come to «Eurasia», have a delicious meal in a caring atmosphere and get pleasure. Despite all the difficulties and a significant decrease in profits, «Eurasia» first of all pays all taxes on time, because this supports the country’s economy. Every business is a screw in the great mechanism of the Ukrainian economy.
— Oksana, let’s talk about values. How do you find a balance between work and family?
— Indeed, everything should be in balance. My husband is also a part of «Eurasia», so we have many topics for discussion and constant communication. The main thing is not to broadcast troubles and to be able to clearly set boundaries, not allowing anyone to violate them.
— What qualities do you consider important for a woman to feel confident and harmonious in the modern world?
— In the modern world, a woman must remain a woman who brings goodness, warmth and light. We should never forget our purpose. We are the guardians of the home, creating a happy atmosphere in the family.
Girls, do not make hasty decisions. We, women, should help as much as we can to everyone who needs it – even just with a kind word and attention.

– Mrs. Tetiana, you have participated in television projects many times. What makes the program “United Ukraine” special for you?
– «United Ukraine» is a vivid example of the unity of Ukrainians, a huge incentive to work for the people, to contribute to the Victory and the future of our country. Taking part in this project, you feel like you are part of a great cause.
– You are called the Tarotist of the Year. How did you take this recognition and what does it mean to you?
– For me, this title is a recognition of the hard work I do every day, because my profession has no days off or holidays. Constant contact with clients, assistance, urgent protection for the military, and searching for people are all part of my working day.
In addition, I opened an esoteric shop on Instagram @smolnik_ ezokramnuchka, where anyone can find the necessary things that are activated individually.
– The pre-Easter period is a special time. What rituals do you recommend to perform on the eve of the holiday?
– Before Easter, I advise you to take care of protection for the year. In my shop, I have a list of necessary things that will help with this. The Easter programme of rituals is very broad and interesting. I recommend performing rituals for healing, family protection,

financial well-being, as well as rituals of natural green magic for love and success.
– What should you pay attention to during this period? Are there any special energy practices for cleansing before Easter?
– During Holy Week, the universe often sends us important signs –these can be dreams, chance encounters or conversations that have deep meaning. It is also important to honour the memory of those who have passed on.
Before Easter, cleansing programmes, chakra cleansing, elimination of negativity and karma renewal are very effective. I always advise to do seven good deeds, because the energy of goodness returns a hundredfold.
– What motivates you the most in your work? What are your goals for the near future?
– I am inspired by the results of my work: when a Tarot reading helps a person make an important decision, when people come with good news, when a patient’s condition improves after energy cleansing. My main principles are empathy and an open heart. In the future, I plan to expand my training by launching a Tarot course and a Rune course. I also want to create a new author’s method of treating phobias and develop exclusive Tarot spreads.

— Mrs. Olena, your activity and energy are something to be envied. What recent achievements are you ready to share?
— Greetings! Thank you. I am always inspired by life itself, regardless of the circumstances. Among the recent significant events, I can note the birth of my second son, the continuous development of the kindergarten “Big House of Happiness” and, perhaps, the opening of a new space “School not at home” in such difficult times for Ukrainians. Briefly and without unnecessary emotions, these events are important stages in my life. After all, every day of work for the happiness of children is a great achievement not only for me, but also for my partners. I believe that now is the time to open up new opportunities, create, enjoy life,

give children the world of art and open up new horizons for them. — You modestly didn’t mention your record. Tell us more about it.
— Yes, this project is really important to us. The project “A Mother’s Heart Beats for Ukraine” is fixed as a national record of Ukraine, as we united 250 mothers, women and sisters to create 250 trench candles. We laid them out in the shape of a heart to symbolise our indomitability and support. And this heart will always beat as long as Ukraine lives! All the candles were delivered to our defenders in the Kupiansk sector on the same day. In this way, we not only helped the army, but also congratulated the women of our town on the Ukrainian Women’s Day. It was extremely touching for each participant.

— Yes, it is indeed difficult to cover everything. But readers can always follow the links to not only get acquainted with the projects, but also to actively participate in their implementation.
As for inspiration... I see how children in our spaces feel confident, how they smile and enjoy every day despite the constant shelling and challenges of today. How they run home to share their vivid impressions with their parents... And their parents are sincerely grateful to us. This gives us the strength to move forward, create new initiatives, and implement ideas and even more projects.
In conclusion, I want to say one thing: act! Act in any situation, under any circumstances. After all, every step we take is a contribution to the future.

Hello, friends! Today, again on our pages, you can see an incredible woman, Lesia ROMANENKO, a true driver of the meat business! Her energy and dedication to her work are impressive. But her desire to help our smaller brothers and, of course, the military, is even more admirable. After all, the last three years have shown that the power of a Ukrainian woman is the foundation of her present and the key to the happiness of her loved ones.
– Mrs. Lesia, we are glad to see you on our pages again. What news are you ready to share with us today?
– You know, the news affects each of us every day - and to varying degrees. But the most important news is the one that shows that we are striving for and approaching victory – at the frontline, in business, in charity... These are the news of our daily lives that are of great importance to every Ukrainian. Today, I cannot single out anything specific, because all issues are important now, especially the collection for our defenders.
– Many people are interested in business development. What is the current state of your company?
– The business is working, although it needs further development. But I know for sure that our products are of excellent quality. We continue to improve, and I am
confident that we will achieve even better results. It is not easy to run a business in this sector today, but it is the business that allows me to contribute to our future.
– Do you have any advice for entrepreneurs?
– Don’t give up under any circumstances! Fight for your product, for its quality, for its demand. This is the most important thing!
– Mrs. Lesia, you continue to be actively involved in volunteering. Do you face burnout?
– Of course, we are all human. But now we cannot give up. We need to find something that motivates us – for example, our victory. If we don’t have it, there will be no business, no burnout, and no recovery, just like Phoenix. We should all have realised long ago that the future is in our hands, and especially the future of our children.
When all of us adults realise this, burnout will lose its relevance. Yes, we need rest, but it should be sought in moments of unity with loved ones, nature, animals... This helps me and my like-minded people. In addition, when you start taking care of someone smaller than yourself in a state of burnout, everything falls into place and your energy returns. Because by giving, we receive!
– Lesia, we know how much you and your like-minded people do for our military and animals. What do you dream about today?
– I dream of victory. And not just about victory on the battlefield, but about victory over the darkness that hangs over our land.
I want all the soldiers to return home alive and healthy, and I want every mother, wife and child to wait for their hero. I want everyone who gave a part of themselves for our freedom to return to a peaceful life where they will be respected and appreciated.
I want our society to become united in its thoughts and aspirations, so that we all stand as an unbreakable wall against the enemy.

Yuliia YELIZARENKO is an expert who helps create personal brands that deliver real results. She knows how to make you recognisable and turn your experience into a powerful marketing asset. If you want to make a big statement, the best time to start is now. In this interview, we will talk to a marketing and PR expert who has been helping professionals in various fields build strong personal brands, attract customers, and promote themselves effectively for over 15 years.
– Yuliia, today everyone is talking about personal branding. Why is it so important?
– People used to choose companies and products, but now they choose personalities. A personal brand is about trust. When people see you, know your values, and observe your expertise, they begin to trust you. And trust opens the door to clients, partnerships, and career growth.
– Where should those who want to promote themselves start?
– There are three main steps:
• Identify your uniqueness. What makes you stand out? What makes you special? What skills, experience or approach make you interesting to the audience?
• Understand your target audience. Who needs your expertise, services or knowledge?
• Start communicating. This can be blogs, social media, public speaking, and podcasts – any format, in which you feel comfortable sharing your ideas. The main thing is to be consistent.
– What are the most common mistakes people make when promoting themselves?
– Most often, these are the following mistakes:
• Fear of publicity. Many are afraid of the camera, criticism, think that “it’s not for them”. But if you don’t start now, it will be even more difficult later.
• Unsystematic. It is impossible to publish one post a month and expect results. A brand is formed through regular communication.
• The desire to please everyone. Everyone has their own audience. It is important to find those who need your experience.
• Sales without trust. People do not like aggressive advertising. First you need to build relationships, and then sell.
– How to create an effective personal brand strategy?
– There are several important components:
• Content. This can be an expert blog, videos, podcasts, useful posts on social networks - the main thing is that the information is valuable to your audience.
• Visual identity. Style, photos, and content design – all this should be recognisable.
• Social proof. Good reviews, cases, success stories build trust.
• Networking. Interviews, collaborations, participation in conferences help increase recognition.
– Yuliia, what trends will define a successful personal brand in 2025?
– Here are three main trends:
• Video content. TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts... People are reading less and watching more short videos. If you are not yet in front of the camera, it’s time to start.
• Authenticity. The days of perfect pictures are over. People appreciate sincerity and real stories.
• Personalisation. The audience wants to feel connected, so it’s important to share your experience, values, and path to success.

під час просування себе?
– Найчастіше це такі помилки:

• Несистемність. Неможливо публікувати один пост на місяць і чекати результату.

Without further ado. This is the direct speech of the talented Iryna Nykolaieva. The following is a conversation with a successful Ukrainian woman who makes others successful.
– Iryna, we are glad to meet such a successful Ukrainian woman. Tell us, what motivates you to continue developing and helping others to do so?
– Thank you. First of all, I am motivated by my love for my work! I like to be involved in making changes in people’s lives. My goal is to develop and popularise proper and high-quality hair care, to teach beginners in this business, and to create a culture of responsible approach to procedures. The greatest motivation for me is the gratitude of my students when I see their professional growth and self-realisation.
– You opened a school-studio during the full-scale invasion. How difficult was that?
– Yes, in the summer of 2024, I decided to open my own schoolstudio in Dnipro. To be honest, I didn’t even think about the war – I
just did what inspired me. Having my own space was my dream from the very beginning, when I first entered this field.
As for the difficulties, I was prepared for them; I was trained by a mentor. The hardest part was combining family and work, because I have two children and a husband. But they fully supported and helped me! The most difficult thing was probably learning to delegate, as I was used to doing everything myself. However, I stopped working as a master, created clear rules and instructions, and mastered the skill of delegating processes.
– In what words would you describe your main professional goal?
– My main goal is to educate not just masters, but experts! My approach is based on individuality, innovative methods, and the desire to improve. I teach masters to open up new horizons in the profession by providing quality knowledge and practical tools for development and success.
«THE MAIN THING IS TO HAVE CLEAR GOALS, DISCIPLINE YOURSELF AND BE PERSISTENT»
– Iryna, you are a young, charming and successful woman. We are sure that many girls would be interested to know your secrets of success.
– My secret to success is simple. If you want to succeed in your business, you shouldn’t be afraid. It is important to face your fears – that is where our development lies! The main thing is to have clear goals, discipline yourself and be persistent. Dream, because dreams do come true!

ndrii TYMOSHENKO is a highly qualified urologist, oncologist and researcher who has been recognised as the “Doctor of the Year” by 1+1. He not only helps patients, but also changes approaches to treatment in Ukraine.
- Mr. Andrii, you have been named Doctor of the Year by 1+1 TV channel. What does this recognition mean to you, and how has it influenced your professional activities?
- It is very pleasant that society recognises my work. However, all my merits are the merits of my supervisors, colleagues and medical staff at the National Cancer Institute and the R. E. Kavetskii Institute of Experimental Pathology, Oncology and Radiobiology. Without their support and fruitful work, there would be no any awards. Recognition inspires new achievements.
- Why did you choose urology and oncological surgery? Was there a particular case or person who inspired you to take this path?
- It all started in my childhood. When I was one year old, my dad said that I would be a scientist in the urology field. And, miraculously, it happened. With the support of my parents and sister, I continue my journey to improve the health of our patients.
- Doctors face challenges and emotionally difficult situations every day. How do you manage to maintain a balance between your professional and personal life?
- Doctors often face great emotional difficulties, burnout and even lack of motivation. We are living in a time of war, and it is more important than ever to work for our military and civilians. After all, we, doctors, are people like everyone else, and for us, personal life and rest are important for restoring and maintaining our emotional state.
- What are the most modern methods of treating urological oncological diseases being implemented in Ukraine today, and do you have any unique developments of your own?
- I work in the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Oncourology at the National Cancer Institute, which is one of the leading in Ukraine and one of the strongest in Europe, given our material capabilities. Under the leadership of Academician, Professor Eduard Stakhovskii, a new bladder was created in Ukraine for the first time after its removal from a patient with cancer, as well as the first endoscopic surgery (TUR) and other important achievements. We, as followers of Viktor Karpenko’s school, continue to develop and implement new techniques in urological and oncological surgery in Ukraine and Europe.
As for my personal achievements, I am particularly proud of my dissertation work, which was carried out under the supervision of Academician, Professor Vasyl Chekhun. It is dedicated to the early diagnosis of prostate cancer metastases at the genetic level. This research has significantly improved the quality and life expectancy of patients with this disease. We have developed a new algorithm for the examination and afterward also for the treatment of metastatic prostate cancer, which has yielded impressive practical results.
- What inspires you the most in your profession and what advice would you give to young doctors who are just starting their careers?
- I am inspired by my colleagues - both experienced and young professionals. I have always learned from the former, and the latter motivate me to become even better. I would advise young doctors to always keep their finger on the pulse of science, constantly update their knowledge and not stop at what has been achieved. I work every day to become better not only as a professional, but also as a person.

s it enough to just be a good specialist? Can we learn to love our work and the people we work for? Anhelina OSADCHA raises important questions that prompt us to rethink our attitude towards the dental profession and towards ourselves.
Hello, readers, there will be a direct speech today.
Remember: “Love your neighbour as yourself”?
Has anyone ever considered choosing a profession through the prism of this commandment?
I will express my opinion. I first thought about this recently, when I once again heard one of my colleagues asked:
– Do you love your job?
– Yes, I do…
– And people?
At that moment, I was struck by the silence in response to the seemingly
obvious question. But is the answer really so obvious?
As we persistently master the intricacies of the medical profession, we face numerous difficulties and trials. We strive to learn from the best, develop and fulfil ourselves. We devote all our time to our work and, as we see it, put everything on the altar of success.
But in this pursuit, there is no one to stop us and point out the main thing, without which all our efforts turn into an empty sound. Love... Not for ourselves in the profession, not for our own achievements in the mirror of vanity, but for love of people. This is not taught in institutes, and there is no exam in this discipline.
But life presents us with other challenges. Have you ever noticed that, despite having the same professional level, a patient will always look for a doctor who cares? Being just a great specialist is not enough.
Is it possible to teach love?
Love is a human need, and we cannot separate it from everything we live. The only problem is that many people are afraid to spend themselves, not realising that by sincerely giving a part of ourselves, we become whole.

Diana Gaiduk, an expert in psychosomatics and psychology, explains how the emotional state affects the health of skin and hair. Read our interview to find out how psychotherapy and inner healing can help restore not only your soul but also your appearance.
– Mrs. Diana, how exactly do stress and psychological state affect the health of skin and hair? What processes are triggered in the body?
– Stress is not only an emotional reaction, but also a powerful physiological process that triggers a number of changes in our body. Under its influence, the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis is activated, which leads to an increase in the level of cortisol, a stress hormone. Excess cortisol contributes to inflammatory processes. This can manifest itself in the form of acne, hair loss, seborrhoic dermatitis, dryness or, conversely, excessive oiliness of the skin.
– Can we say that some dermatological diseases have a psychosomatic nature? What are the most common ones?
– Absolutely. The skin has a close connection with the nervous system since the embryonic period, so the psycho-emotional state directly affects its health. Psychosomatic dermatoses include atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, urticaria, acne, trichotillomania, and neurodermatitis.
– What is the role of the endocrine system in the relationship between psychological state and skin health?
– Psycho-emotional states have a direct impact on hormonal balance, especially on the thyroid gland, sex hormones and adrenal glands. In a state of prolonged stress, we can observe a violation of hormonal regulation – either a decrease or excessive activity. This is reflected on the skin in the form of rashes, seborrhoea, pigmentation changes, loss of hair shine and brittle nails. Through the endocrine system, the psyche affects the physiology – and vice versa.
– How can we improve the condition of our skin and hair through mental health work?
– Working with the psycho-emotional background –through psychotherapy, body-oriented practices, meditation, sleep restoration and inner dialogue – can significantly improve the condition of the skin. Often, after deep work with emotions, patients notice a decrease in rashes, reduced skin sensitivity, normalised oiliness and improved overall appearance.
– What is your “must-have” in maintaining your psychological state and skin health? Please share your personal practices that work best.
– For me, it is inner peace. I practice silence every day, listen to my inner feelings, and listen to the silence in the morning to tune in to harmony. Breathing practices, aromatherapy, quality sleep and the ritual of morning tea with a thought of gratitude are my simple but profound tools for self-care. And also – time for beauty.

ksana YACOBSON is an astrologer who combines a scientific approach with spiritual practices to help people navigate the most difficult moments of life. A laureate of the Queen Anne’s Order “Honour of the Fatherland” and “For Civil Valour”, with tens of thousands of successful and happy clients, Oksana explains how astrology can change lives.
– Mrs. Oksana, have there been any cases when your forecasts have radically changed someone’s life?
– Imagine that your life is a journey. Astrology is a compass that helps you understand when it is worth setting off on a journey, and when it is better to wait out the storm. For example, when a person is faced with a difficult choice - to change jobs, start a new business or stay in a stable situation - astrology shows which periods are conducive to development, and when it is better to wait. An individual horoscope helps to reveal hidden resources that a person may not even be aware of.
There are really many cases when astrology has changed someone’s life. One of them: a woman, who turned to me a year ago, did not believe that her dream could become a reality. After the consultation, she moved to another city, opened a beauty salon, and most importantly – met the man she had long dreamed of.
– You have received state awards for your work. Tell us what do these awards mean to you?
– The Order of Queen Anne and the Order “For Civil Valour” are not only a recognition of my work, but also a confirmation that spiritual knowledge is becoming more and more in demand. When I received
the invitation to the awards, I thought it was a mistake, but later I realised that these awards are proof that we create our own lives, and our efforts can change the world.
– What would you say to people who doubt the effectiveness of astrology?
– Scepticism is natural, but I always say: don’t take on trust, it’s better to check it out on your own experience. Astrology is not magic, but a system of knowledge based on the study of the rhythms and cycles of the Universe. We all feel the influence of lunar phases or the change of seasons – this is part of astrology. I advise you to take it as a tool for self-discovery, not as a dogma.
– What are the main challenges in your profession and personal life?
– The biggest challenge is responsibility. People turn to astrology in times of crisis, when it is difficult for them to find the right path. My role is to provide them with information in a way that they can understand and apply in practice.
As for my personal life, it is sometimes difficult for me to find a balance between professional development and time for myself and my family. Working with energies requires significant resources, so I often use additional tools such as meditation or prayer.
There is a saying: “So many languages you know, so many times you are a man.” Our guest today is Nina ZAIATS, a polyglot and experienced teacher who not only teaches but also follows the principles of an individualized neuro-approach. Next is a conversation with an expert who can find the exact method that works best for you.
– Nina, greetings! English continues to gain popularity. You work as a neurolinguistics coach. Could you tell us more about this approach?
– It’s a bit difficult to explain it briefly. As a coach, I help you determine your starting point–Point A–and find the most effective way to reach your destination–Point B–based on your individual learning needs. In other words, I act like a compass on a ship, guiding you toward the shortest path to your goal.
Of course, as a language coach, I work with languages–English, French, and Spanish.
Another important aspect of my work is the “neuro” part. As the term suggests, it’s all about the brain. We focus on how you think, perceive information, and how your brain processes and retains new material. The key is to find an approach that allows you to “negotiate” with your brain, making language acquisition faster and more effective.
My method is both interesting and unconventional. It enables students to learn a language much more quickly because we tailor the process to their specific needs. For example, if you’re preparing for a presentation, you can achieve results three times faster because you won’t have to waste time on random textbook topics. Instead, we structure the learning process around your goal, selecting specialized materials, vocabulary, and grammar that directly support your specific request.
– Many people may be intrigued by the fact that you are a polyglot yourself. Why did you choose to study languages?
– Yes, I am a polyglot–I speak five languages fluently and am currently learning two more. Naturally, I use the same techniques for myself that I apply with my students.
– People often say, “I’m just not good at foreign languages.” Why do you think learning a new language can be challenging for some people?
– I really like the saying, “You can’t teach someone, but they can learn.” If you set a goal to learn a language, you will achieve it.
In my experience, I’ve seen many cases where people in their 50s and 60s started learning a new language and mastered it even better than younger learners. Some people learn faster, others need more time, and that’s perfectly normal. The key factor is perception and overall brain function.
– Nina, in conclusion, could you share some quick tips for effective language learning?
– The effectiveness of learning depends on both the teacher’s personality and the methods they use. The most important thing is to find a teacher you connect with, someone who makes you excited to attend lessons. When you feel joy and inspiration, learning becomes much easier. I hope everyone finds the right person to guide them on their language-learning journey!

elf-acceptance is the key to a harmonious relationship with one’s own personality, says Olha DEMEDCHUK. In this interview, she talks about how the war has changed Ukrainian women, how social media affects our perception of ourselves, and how to keep in touch with reality.
– Mrs. Olha, with the arrival of spring, women are gradually starting to recover from difficult events and need not only beauty, but also psychological support. In your opinion, what have Ukrainian women become like compared to what they were three years ago?
– Ukrainian women have always been the most charming and beautiful women. And over the past three years, they have also become strong and resilient. This time has changed each of them, regardless of where they are and how they cope with the burden of war. All these challenges require resilience and inner courage. That is why today every Ukrainian woman has an Amazonian archetype in her – a warrior woman who is able to defend herself and her home.
– How have these changes affected your approaches and working methods?
– Today, it is especially important to take into account the individuality of each person, and this has significantly changed my view of some approaches. A biased attitude towards classical methods is no longer appropriate, because so many factors affect a person’s state in the here and now. Constant stress and a sense of danger not only reawaken old painful wounds, but also form new ones. That is why the following principles are now a priority for me:
• individual approach to each request;
• attentive attitude to a person’s feelings, perception of their experience as it is, and not through someone else’s prism;
• careful processing of sensitive topics, because not all painful memories should be touched upon right now;
• restoring inner balance through effective and environmentally friendly methods of symbolic drama.
– What has changed in your professional activity?
– Our Society of Symbol Drama of Ukraine, an association of psychologists and psychotherapists, which I head, is now even more focused on online festivals and conferences for colleagues. This enables specialists to constantly improve their skills and work effectively in modern realities.
– Today, many people compare their lives to perfect pictures on social media. How can we avoid losing touch with reality?
– Social media really has a negative impact on self-perception, because we see only selected images there – beautiful videos, photos, moments of success. This is the first thing that destroys our positive attitude towards ourselves, our capabilities and resources. That’s why my main advice is to use social media for a specific purpose: to look for the services you need, meet specialists, promote your own product or service. But don’t compare yourself to others and don’t try to meet someone else’s standards. This question is often raised during my consultations, because toxic shame, inner criticism and imposter syndrome are serious obstacles to self-realisation. It is important to work with these manifestations in order to get out of the maze of fears and false beliefs and start living in harmony with yourself.
In the whirlwind of modern life, full of challenges and rapid changes, the issues of female power, inner harmony and true vocation are becoming particularly relevant. Yana BURKALO, a successful businesswoman, owner of a network of medical and cosmetic centres and an Academy for cosmetologists, shares her vision of the essence of a modern Ukrainian woman, her unique traits and inner potential.
— Mrs. Yana, it’s been a long time since we last saw each other. Tell us, how have you changed lately and what is the portrait of a Ukrainian woman in your opinion?
— I have become more aware, because I feel myself, others and the world better. This is a change that is governed by the Law of Cause and Effect – deep inner work always leads to external transformations.
The portrait of a Ukrainian woman for me is a combination of strength and gentleness. She, like a river, bypasses obstacles, but never stops. She has love in her heart, work in her hands, and wisdom in her eyes. She brings light even in the darkest times.
— What makes us stand out from the others in general, in your opinion?
— Our ability to give birth to new things, even in times of destruction. A Ukrainian woman turns fatigue into inspiration and loss into meaning. We are distinguished by our integrity.
— What would you promote to Ukrainian women today?
— Mentally, it is the right to be yourself. Not to adapt, not to try to prove anything, but to be yourself. This is the basis of the Law of Reflection: when we are honest with ourselves, the world reciprocates.
Psychologically, it means gentleness, care and acceptance. Allow yourself to stop, to cry, and to be quiet.
Physically – love for your body as a temple. Caring is not about the ideal, but about connection and gratitude.
Spiritually – belief in yourself, your mission and life according to the Law of Flow: not to fight, but to trust
— Please tell us more about your activities.
— I am the owner of three medical and cosmetology centres and an Academy for cosmetologists. This is more than a business – it is a space where women can not only take care of themselves, but also restore their confidence, dignity and inner strength.
In our centres, we combine medical expertise, modern technology and deep respect for the body and personality of every woman. We do not impose standards – we help women see themselves as they really are.
The Academy is the heart of my project. Here, women receive not only a profession, but also a new meaning in life and support. We train professionals who work not only with their hands but also with their hearts.
— Whom do you want to address from the pages of our edition?
— To all women who are ready to choose themselves. To those who seek integrity, harmony and beauty – external and internal. I invite you to our centres, where beauty is love, not a stereotype.
I am also addressing future cosmetologists – you have a place where you will be taught not only techniques, but also deep respect for a woman as a person. The Academy is waiting for those who want to create beauty with meaning.

etiana TRYGUB is a business consultant at New Life Company, the head of the Health and Beauty Centre, who has 12 years of experience in network business. She helps beginners take their first steps in entrepreneurship, learn how to make money from their own purchases and build a successful career.
— Mrs. Tetiana, what should somebody start a business with if he or she has no experience?
— You should start, first of all, with making a decision! For this you need to have a strong motive. Experience in any field comes through knowledge and constant actions over a certain period of time. It is very important to find a mentor who has already gone this path and knows where to start and how to act correctly. I have 12 years of experience behind me, and I am ready to share my knowledge.
— What are the main mistakes of beginners and how to avoid them?
— The first step is to clearly define your goal. The next step is to create a personal plan to achieve it. If you don’t focus on
the goal, your actions will be chaotic and therefore not bring the desired result. Learning and continuous improvement play an important role in our business.
— How to make money on your purchases in the network business?
— Network business is a business of recommendations and building consumer networks. At New Life, it all starts with your own use of the products. You learn about the company and its natural products for health, beauty and everyday life, start using them in your life. Then you tell others about the products, and they also join the consumer network. The company not only provides a 20% discount, but also pays a reward according to the marketing plan. This is
a team business: the more your partners earn, the higher your income.
— What role does online education play in modern business? Is it possible to acquire business skills without traditional education?
— When I started my business at New Life 12 years ago, the main training was through presentations, individual meetings and seminars. Today we successfully work online, and even the war could not stop the development of our business. Our products are sold through information and health centres, of which there are over 900 in Ukraine. These are specialised stores where you can not only purchase products, but also order delivery around the world. All products are certified according to international standards ISO 9000 and ISO 22000. This business can become a business for the whole family.
— What motivates you and what are your goals for the coming years?
— I am inspired by what I have already been able to achieve over the years. If I was able to change my life, being already of retirement age, then it is within the power of everyone. I strive to unite around me purposeful and ambitious people who want to be healthy, successful and financially independent.
Everyone can become a part of our team and our mission!

artner and facilitator at DesignThinkers Academy (Amsterdam), Alina ANDREIEVA, a specialist in market research, CX, UX and Service Design, shares her 15 years of experience in business transformation through customer-centric strategies and innovations. She has extensive experience working with both public and private organisations in Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Europe.
– Mrs. Alina, how did you become 1+1’s Expert of the Year?
– My journey in Design Thinking began in 2019. With a background in facilitation, strategy sessions and marketing, I was looking for a methodology that would combine business and humanity. Design Thinking became my love at first sight. I studied at DesignThinkers Academy and later became its partner. It gave me access to international experience and incredible people. My main task is to help businesses adapt quickly, create in-demand products and develop innovations.
– What is the main challenge of being an expert in your field? What trends are the most relevant now?
– The most difficult thing is to change the mindset of the business. Design Thinking is not just a set of tools, but a whole philosophy. We create products to meet the real needs of our customers, not just because “the business decided so”.
The main principles are:
• First, we find the problem, then the solution;
• We do not launch anything on the market without testing.
– How do you develop your professional level? What skills do you consider the most important?
– Today’s trends require flexibility. The most effective approaches are a combination of different methodologies depending on the

needs: Future Design Thinking, Systems Thinking, Jobs to Be Done, Employee Design Thinking, and others.
Businesses are now moving from thinking in terms of products to thinking in terms of customer journeys. The search for quick tools allows companies to make the right decisions with minimal risks.
The value of development and professional extension lies in the projects implemented. Each case gives me new experience, each order encourages me to find non-standard solutions, adapt methods and tools.
My most important skill is empathy, the ability to listen and see people’s true needs.
– What are your professional ambitions for the future and personal plans?
– Now I plan to develop the Employee Design Thinking theme, focusing on the happiness of the internal client.
My cherished wish is for the war to end as soon as possible so that business can spread its wings again and the country can start building new processes.
I also dream of implementing even more projects with Ukrainian government agencies. I have similar experience not only in Ukraine but also in other countries. It is a special feeling to help change the country for the better.
