Yuliia Yuliia KUSHNIR

From a youthful desire to correct the consequences of unsuccessful hair experiments to the status of an experienced expert and founder of a charity project, this is the path of Yuliia Kushnir, a hair extension specialist. In this interview, we will not only learn about her professional secrets and the value of teamwork, but also about her deep understanding of female beauty.

– Yuliia, last time we talked mainly about your services. This time we want to reveal more about your personality. Why did you choose this profession?

– My journey began with unsuccessful hair experiments in my youth. At the age of 15-16, all girls want to change, and I was no exception. I’m naturally blonde, but I really wanted to become a brunette, and then get my colour back. So I lost some of my hair and started looking for ways to fix this situation. At that time, only one master in eastern Ukraine was doing hair extensions. I had to go on a long journey, but my wish was never fulfilled – the price was too high, even compared to the current prices in top salons.

The dream of hair extensions was postponed for a while, but a new aspiration appeared – to learn how to do it myself.

– Today you are an experienced expert. What secrets of success can you share with readers who are just starting their path?

– Business is not only about successes, but also about failures. My success is my team. We work harmoniously, as a single mechanism.

Together we create beauty and achieve great results. We do not have the phrase “every man for himself”, because we are a united team. This is the foundation of successful work.

– You are also involved in charity work. Tell us about the Renaissance project, which provides free hair extensions and support for girls in remission after cancer.

– I’ve always wanted to help people - to do something that can give them back their joy and confidence. When the question arose: ‘What can I do?’, the answer came immediately - I can help for free.

YULIIA KUSHNIR:

HOW A PERSONAL PROBLEM

BECAME A MATTER OF LIFE

AND A SOURCE OF HELP FOR OTHERS

Every year, more and more girls who have gone through cancer come to us. Everyone understands that this service is quite expensive, so I decided to provide them with free extensions. We provide full support, including free corrections for a certain period, trichologist consultations and other support.

I have thought through everything to the smallest detail so that the girls who trusted us after serious trials are calm and happily grow their curls. It is important for me that they feel beautiful and confident.

– Yuliia, what do you think is true female beauty?

– A modern woman is a perpetual motion machine. She combines home, family, work and self-realisation. I observe many successful women who manage to do everything and still find time for themselves. They inspire me.

The beauty of a woman is in her self-realisation. When she enjoys life, when she feels happy in what she does. So I wish everyone to find their place of joy and harmony.

KKamilla KLYNSKY is the first designer of handmade baseball caps in Ukraine, who creates exclusive accessories that conquer not only fashion catwalks, but also the hearts of Ukrainians. The founder of the brand «Milky for Ukrainian Women», a laureate of the Cosmolady Awards and «Designer of the Year» according to Touch magazine, she has become a true symbol of Ukrainian fashion.

KAMILLA KLYNSKY:

HOW BASEBALL CAPS BECAME ART AND A UKRAINIAN WOMAN BECAME A STYLE SYMBOL

– Kamilla, you were the first designer in Ukraine to start creating handmade baseball caps. What inspired you to take this bold step?

– This niche turned out to be free! There is not a single designer in the world that specialises exclusively in baseball caps, especially those with handmade Ukrainianstyle decorations.

– Your brand “Milky for Ukrainian Women” actively glorifies Ukrainian culture and symbolism. How do you see your place in Ukrainian fashion?

– I managed to turn an ordinary everyday baseball cap into an evening accessory and bring it to the big catwalk – something that no one has ever done before. Caps had received so much attention as a separate niche in the fashion world never before. I believe this headwear has great potential and this is just the beginning!

– Your collections were presented for the first time at such a large-scale event as Eurovision 2024. How did it happen, and what emotions did you feel?

– For me, it was an opportunity to make a statement about Ukrainian fashion at the international level. It is important for me that the world sees not only our musicians, but also our achievements in other areas, including the fashion industry.

– You often participate in charity events aimed at supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine. How do you define the role of a designer in times of war?

– As a designer, I feel a great responsibility. In this difficult time, we have to do our best. For me, supporting the Armed Forces is a natural reaction to what is happening.

– Your caps have become a symbol not only of style, but also of Ukrainian

strength. What inspired you when creating a collection of accessories such as a wreath cap or a cap- brow?

– I was inspired by traditions, our history and national symbols, but at the same time I wanted to create accessories that would be suitable for a modern Ukrainian woman. Each element in these caps has a deep symbolism, and I want every woman who wears them to feel the power of our culture and nation.

– How do you feel about the fact that your products are now adorning Ukrainian showbiz stars? How does this reflect the development of your brand?

– For me, every Ukrainian woman is a star! I have always dreamed that our baseball caps would be associated with a crown. It is a great honour to create headwear for the most beautiful women in the world! milky_dlya_ukrainky

Olha Matusevych is a craftswoman with many years of experience whose passion for sewing has turned into a successful career. Her work is not just about creating clothes, but an investment in the comfort and confidence of her clients.

– Mrs. Olha, how did your passion for sewing begin?

– It all started when I was a child. I used to make clothes out of anything: I cut my mother’s tablecloths, sewed by hand and got my first “battle” wounds. Once I pierced my finger with a machine needle and even pricked my cheek with a crochet hook. But that didn’t stop me – it only made me more interested in the world of sewing.

When I looked at fashion magazines, it seemed like real magic to me how fabric turns into a perfect suit. My childhood hobby turned into a profession: I studied at the Kyiv Technological

Institute of Light Industry (KTILI) and gained a lot of practical experience.

Now I am inspired not only by the process of creating clothes, but also by the emotions of clients. It is important not just to sew a garment, but to make a person feel comfortable and confident.

– What trends in clothing remain relevant?

– The main trend is high-quality cut, good quality fabrics and attention to detail. Fashion changes, but the classics remain: perfectly tailored jackets, laconic dresses, well-fitted trousers. Comfort and harmony with a person’s style are also important.

OLHA MATUSEVYCH: «TAILORING IS AN INVESTMENT IN COMFORT AND CONFIDENCE»

Another important trend is conscious consumption. People have started to value quality over quantity, and this inspires me. They come not just for clothes, but for things that will serve for years.

– Olha, what services do your clients order most often?

– The most popular services are custom tailoring and clothing repair. We strive to ensure that our clients receive items that fit perfectly and emphasise their individuality.

Many people want to update their old wardrobe. They often bring clothes with a history - family suits, vintage dresses - and we adapt them to the modern style, giving things a second life.

– What is most important to you in your work?

– Quality, attention to detail and customer comfort. We don’t just sew or repair – we look for the best solutions for each product. Our approach is “No questions asked!” We always find a way to implement a customer’s idea, even if it seems complicated.

– Olha, what are your professional dreams?

– I want people to appreciate quality clothes more and understand their true value. I also dream of expanding the studio’s capabilities to create even more unique projects.

I am fascinated by 3D modelling of clothes, a modern approach that allows me to experiment with design before sewing. I already have basic skills and plan to develop in this direction.

But the most important thing is to continue creating things that bring joy to people and help them feel confident!

MARIIA BOBOS:

SUCCESS IS THE RESULT OF HARD WORK

Mariia Bobos is a mother of two sons who has become not only their support, but also a model of strength of spirit. Having gone through difficult life challenges, including a divorce and the struggle for her youngest son’s health, she has not lost faith in a better future. Her story is an example of resilience, steadfastness, maternal devotion and tireless struggle for the happy life of her children.

– Mrs. Mariia, tell us about your family.

– My family is my most precious treasure, an inexhaustible source of inspiration, love and support. I grew up in a family of educators, where deep traditions, the right life values and the desire for self-development reigned supreme. Since childhood, I have been instilled with an active life stance, humanity and self-belief. My family has always been and remains my support and driving force, which motivates, supports and inspires me to new achievements.

– How has having children changed your life and priorities?

– The birth of my sons, Nazar and Zakhar, changed my life radically. Motherhood is boundless happiness,

unconditional love, and at the same time a huge responsibility and daily work on oneself. Children teach us to see the world through their eyes and enjoy simple things. My top priority is their wellbeing, development, patriotism and safety, especially in these difficult times.

– What were the biggest challenges you faced?

– One of the most difficult challenges was my divorce from my husband. Shortly after that, my youngest son, who was only one and a half years old at the time, was diagnosed with cerebral palsy: spastic diplegia. So we embarked on a journey of struggle that has lasted for over two years. It is full of hard work, daily efforts and faith in the victory over the disease. This unique experience made me rethink my life values, taught me patience, perseverance and self-discipline. Every day we face new challenges, but at the same time we feel joy from even the smallest victories that give our lives a special meaning.

– What rehabilitation methods do you use for your son? Who supports you?

– We use an integrated approach: physical rehabilitation (physical therapy, massage, and swimming pool), ergotherapy, speech therapy, work with a psychologist, equine therapy, orthopaedic treatment (stage plastering, orthotics, special shoes). I am immensely grateful to my family, doctors, specialists, charitable foundations and all those who care about us who are walking alongside us on this difficult path. I would especially like to thank my eldest son – at the age of eight, he is a real support for me, inspiring me and giving me strength in this fight. Thanks to the faith and help of our relatives, we find the strength to move forward and not give up even in the darkest times. People’s support is a beacon that helps us not to lose our way even during a storm.

– What advice would you give to parents who have found out about their child’s diagnosis?

– Believe in your own strength. Patience, understanding and love will help you turn any difficulties into invaluable experience, and falls into new highs. Remember that the hardest times always end, and dreams come true if you fight for them.

PREMIERE OF THE YEAR –PSYCHOLOGICAL THEATRE «SITUATION»

A full hall of people: Dnipro residents, guests of the city, experts, journalists, art connoisseurs... There was absolute silence and bated breath from anticipation at the start of the premiere of the incredibly unique, absolutely innovative cultural project «Psychological Theatre «Situation».

The author of the project Lyudmila Akymenko notes that she has been nurturing the idea for a very long time so that, once formed, it would incorporate extremely useful practical advice and the effectiveness of psychological assistance to people through the format of a theatrical performance.

«As a woman who has gone through a long way of her own transformations, I understand that young people who plan to create strong unions do not know how to prepare themselves for this at all. Most of them do not allow themselves to turn to experts for help. Divorce statistics tell us that we do not currently have a culture of building healthy relationships due to a lack of self-understanding and inability to communicate. For a very long time, these questions formed in me the idea of creating a project that through an interactive format would be able to help our nation, help women and men find a common language, create an atmosphere of trust, harmony, understanding and support in families. Thus, years later, the Psychological Theatre «Situation» was born, which we presented to the birthday of our city,» commented Lyudmila Akymenko.

The format of the project includes theatrical productions of a wide variety of situations faced by every person on the planet. Psychological theatre is a special form of influence on a person through creation, because theatrical art is able to perfectly manifest the inner world of

a person and change him or her.We can empower people in the light of creation to take important steps toward change. It is also about improving relationships, establishing communication, achieving understanding with others and revealing inner potential.

In addition, the psychological theatre «Situation» aims to develop the psychological direction of theatrical art. This is a completely new concept that can be effectively applied as an innovative therapeutic model. Psychologists point out that theatrical performance can be the only way to resolve difficult relationships with others in some life circumstances.

The experts with a psychological specialty reveal the topics of situations, causes and consequences and give practical advices in the project. They take their professional tools and help people see the objectivity of life’s situations. The themes of future performances will consist of real stories, which we expect to receive from you through social networks.

Due to the realities of our lives, not all Ukrainians can turn to a psychologist for help today, because this type of communication foresees openness,

which requires special courage. And this is where a theatrical performance can come to the rescue allowing the viewer to participate in a familiar situation without direct contact with a specialist, but to get the necessary answers. This interactive will give the viewer the opportunity to see a similar situation from the outside and understand how to act in order to preserve the relationship that will be discussed in the play.

The premiere of the first performance of the psychological theatre «The Situation» proved that Ukrainians today desperately need psychological help. The project’s experts answered more than a hundred questions of the guests of the event. Specialists who were presented at the project noted

that the great war further worsened the state of Ukrainians and they should be saved. They repeatedly emphasized that psychologists, psychotherapists, psychiatrists, sexologists, neurologists and coaches should consult in any life situation to support mental health. In this way, we will be able to create relationships having a good continuation and giving our nation strong unions and a healthy generation of future Ukrainians. After all, it is for them that we now choose our freedom and independence.

We thank everyone who joined us at the premiere, we are waiting for your comments on social networks and we are preparing for the new performance.

We are waiting for everyone!

PSYCHOLOGICAL TRAUMA: UNDERSTANDING, SYMPTOMS AND WAYS TO OVERCOME IT. DIRECT SPEECH FROM NATALIIA KUCHERENKO

oday, many experts are working on the problem of psychological trauma. We will also discuss this topic with an expert, Nataliia KUCHERENKO. What follow are a straightforward speech and many important details.

— Hello, dear readers. Psychological trauma is a very strong stress, accompanied by a feeling of physical threat or severe psychological shock. Most people experience such events at least once in their lives.

Psychological trauma is an event or a series of events that cause a person strong emotional reactions and harm their mental health. It can be a serious arbitrary misconduct, a fire or accident, physical or sexual violence, the loss of a loved one, malnutrition or a serious illness. Each case of psychological trauma is unique, and each person reacts to it in their own way.

A traumatized person may feel overwhelmed, shocked and have difficulty understanding their experience. Symptoms can be shortlived or long-lasting. In more severe cases, this can lead to post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

PTSD is a reaction to traumatic events that can last for a long time and lead to serious consequences for your mental health. Possible complications include

• depression,

• anxiety disorders,

• suicidal thoughts,

• suicide attempts.

Therefore, it is important to receive timely psychotraumatological assistance to help you cope with PTSD and related problems.

Symptoms of psychological trauma:

• headache,

• digestive disorders,

• fatigue,

• increased heart rate,

• increased sweating,

• tremor of the limbs,

• sleep problems,

• coordination disorders,

• catatonia,

• disturbances in facial expressions.

Is it possible to cope with trauma on your own?

Unfortunately, not always. Of course, it will be better if you go through this path with a qualified psychotherapist. Different types of therapy are suitable for this – from Gestalt therapy and psychoanalysis to cognitive-behavioural therapy. The result will depend on the complexity of the trauma, concomitant mental states and the expertise of the therapist.

So, how to help?

1. Group therapy, which will help you maintain contact with society. This is a very important component of recovery. If you are not ready to go to group therapy, try to maintain contact with friends and loved ones.

2. Personal diary. This is a fairly common way to experience difficult events. Try to devote 15 minutes a day to document your condition in writing. Describe your day; write about your dreams, about what you see around you at that moment. Even if this does not completely cure the trauma, it will teach you to accept your feelings. This is a very important step on the path to healing.

3. Learn to accept your own feelings. Getting angry, crying, feeling pain is normal.

4. Avoid alcohol, coffee, drugs as much as possible.

These recommendations are based on my many years of experience. Be healthy!

OLEKSANDRA SHMYHOL:

«WE HAVE BECOME STRANGERS...

IS IT POSSIBLE TO FEEL LOVE

AGAIN?»

О

leksandra SHMYHOL is a psychologist, life coach, women’s trainer, mentor and motivator. The heroine of our issue is included in the list of «Leaders of the 21st Century» and is a laureate of the international Order of Queen Anne. In an interview, she told how to understand whether it is worth fighting for a relationship, and what values help to preserve them.

– Divorce or a new chance? How to determine whether to keep the relationship?

– In today’s world, families face numerous challenges, which leads to an increase in the number of divorces. According to the judiciary of Ukraine, in 2024, the number of divorces was almost equal to the number of marriages: 150.2 thousand marriages versus 141.8 thousand divorces. It is important to note that the statistics do not take into account unofficial relationships, such as church weddings or other forms of partnership.

– How does war affect relationships? What are the main causes of divorce during this period?

– War is not only about geographical borders, but also about emotional ones. Many couples have found themselves far from each other: some are at the front, some have stayed in Ukraine, and some have been forced to move abroad. Recently, many clients have been coming to me for an online consultation because of the acute pain of divorce.

Yes, separation exacerbates loneliness, misunderstanding, and fear. But it is the lack of emotional contact that often leads to alienation and breakdown of relationships.

– How should you keep in touch over a distance?

– Regular communication, whether by video, conversation or voice mail, is a way to maintain emotional contact. Discussing common plans and dreams helps to maintain a

sense of unity. Even a short message like ‘I’m thinking of you’ sometimes warms you more than silence.

It is also important to support each other. Share your feelings, experiences, and be open to discussing difficult moments. If you had that ‘spark’ at the beginning of the relationship, you can always rekindle it.

– What values help to strengthen a family?

– First of all, trust and respect. Without them, relationships lose stability. It is important to appreciate even the little things: kind words, shared memories, morning coffee together. The ability to listen, not to close in on yourself, not to take everything too personally is valuable.

Support and understanding of your partner will help strengthen the bond between you in difficult moments. Ask: “What can I do to support you?”, “Do you need my help?”. Such words strengthen relationships. In addition, family traditions unite, creating warm memories that become an emotional resource for relationships.

– What psychological attitudes destroy families?

– One of the most common mistakes is to think that your partner should be able to guess your needs. No, he is not a telepath! Talk openly about your feelings and expectations. Love is not just about being physically close, it’s about trust and making a conscious choice to be together, regardless of the circumstances. Healthy relationships are about “we”, not “me” and “you”. At the same

time, healthy relationships should not be confused with toxic ones –if there is physical or psychological violence, it is no longer about “saving the relationship”, but about your own safety and self-worth.

It is normal to need support at some moments. And the phrase “I can handle it on my own” is not entirely correct, because your partner may not even know what is going on in your mind, what doubts and experiences you are going through alone. If you think something is wrong, it’s better to ask again than to snap at your partner for a completely different reason.

– How to find support within yourself to save a relationship?

– Ask yourself: ‘What does this relationship mean to me? Am I ready to work on it?’, “Do I have warm romantic memories of the beginning of our relationship?”, “Am I ready for changes in myself?” Give yourself the right to be weak, seek support from friends, psychologists, and communities.

A crisis is not the end, but an opportunity to understand who you are for yourself and for each other. This is an important stage in the growth of both partners and a chance to take the relationship to a new level. One sincere dialogue can change everything and restore balance.

Every relationship is unique, so there is no one universal answer. It’s important to learn to listen to yourself and your partner. If you feel that your relationship needs to be rethought, don’t put off this process.

Client case and life experience of Oleksandra Shmyhol

Oksana and Ihor (names changed) lived in two realities. They had a cosy home, two children, and a stable income. But there was one problem: distance. Ihor worked as a sailor: six months on the voyage, six months at home. At the consultation, Oksana sighed:

– ‘He’s coming back, and I don’t know what to talk about. It’s as if he is nearby, but so far away...

– ‘Before, there was expectation, “butterflies in the stomach”... And now there is silence. My husband says that our conversations became superficial and our meetings tense.

Both were afraid that everything was heading towards divorce.

Now imagine: your partner returns home, and instead of feeling like a “stranger,” you will again feel joy, closeness, and the same spark that was at the beginning of the relationship?

These are the words Oksana said when we were completing my author’s program “11 Steps towards a Partner.”

It is a joy to see women leave me with an awareness of how to preserve their family and be happy. Once I also went through a divorce with a newborn baby in my arms. And I was scared too. But now I have a happy family and harmonious relationships that I could only dream of before.

If you also want strong and trusting relationships, write to me.

Yurii Bezsmertnyi, a psychologist and head of the rehabilitation programme for alcohol addicts at the Sense RC, told us what a person who wants to get rid of addiction can do.

– Is there an increase in the number of people with alcohol dependence due to the war? What are the main reasons for this?

– Our centre operates on an outpatient model, not as an inpatient rehabilitation facility. We run a social and psychological programme with daytime sessions lasting three hours. Participation in the programme is voluntary, and most of the people who apply have a certain level of motivation. Sometimes clients are referred to us by social services.

Currently, there is no evidence of a significant increase in the number of people with alcohol dependence among the civilian population. Undoubtedly, in times of crisis, people may resort to alcohol more often. In the context of hostilities and extreme stress, some military personnel start drinking alcohol. In Ukraine, there is a risk that some of the demobilised will try to overcome their inner emptiness by abusing alcohol.

THE PATH TO A NEW LIFE: PSYCHOLOGIST AND REHABILITATION THERAPIST YURII BEZSMERTNYI ABOUT

THE LIFELINE FROM ALCOHOL

ADDICTION

– Have approaches to treating alcohol addicts changed during the war?

– Modern methods of treating alcoholism are based on a biopsychosocial model that takes into account physical, psychological, social and spiritual factors. Alcoholism is a multifactorial disease that requires a comprehensive approach. Rehabilitation programmes include social support, psychotherapy, and work on changing life values. An important factor is motivation, as compulsory treatment rarely gives a lasting result.

– What should those who want to change their lives and get rid of alcohol addiction do? What should their families do?

– First of all, you should consult a specialist. It is important to understand that alcoholism is a family disease. For example, in the United States, there are centres that work with both the addicted person and his or her spouse.

– What are the main methods of combating alcohol addiction?

– There are methods of temporary abstinence, such as coding or stitching, but they do not solve the problem on a deep level. It is important to change the way of thinking, to learn to live through crisis moments without alcohol. Further, different approaches are possible: religious (most often Christian communities), Alcoholics Anonymous groups, psychotherapy. It should be understood that success depends on a person’s life context, stress level, family support, and willingness to work on oneself. In fact, something different works for everyone. The main thing is not to stop at one step

– How do you cope with stress and emotional burnout when dealing with such complex cases?

– I don’t live the lives of my clients, so I leave the work context and do my own thing. I have my own methods of relaxation: interviews with colleagues, attending meetings in the “Psychological Workshop” project. Humour, both black and white, and hobbies also help – I collect stamps and support Dynamo Kyiv.

N NATALIIA KRYVICH: «HUMANITY IS THE BEST CURE FOR «UNLOVE»

ataliia Kryvich, a practical psychologist, has been tested by the war and is convinced that every new day is a gift that should be appreciated. Today, the expert works with children’s hearts and helps people regain their faith in themselves.

– Nataliia, you have your own difficult experience of psychological assistance during the war. Tell us about it.

– I am from Kharkiv, so I know firsthand what it means when missiles fly overhead and you need to save your life, children, and loved ones without losing your sanity.

In the early days of the full-scale war in Ukraine, I participated in a psychological group that was assembled in a matter of minutes by my coordinator, an incredible psychologist and teacher with vast experience, Iryna Blazhyna (she has been working with the guys on the front line for three years now). At that time, we provided support to people who found themselves in extremely difficult and dangerous conditions.

FAMILY PSYCHOLOGIST WITH MEDICAL EDUCATION

– What have you observed and experienced in 2022?

– It is important to understand that the adaptation of thinking and a deep transformation of the subconscious to move to a new level occur only on the 40th day. In peacetime, these are lengthy processes, but in conditions of threat to life and health, we do not have this privilege. This means that the psyche cannot withstand rapid changes, cannot cope with external factors, and denies reality... As a result, powerful defences that a person does not possess are activated. They are:

• Hysterics, nightmares;

• Constant search for encouraging news;

• Depression (switching to an energy-saving mode);

• Uncontrollable desire to run away;

• Thoughts during shelling: ‘At least it’s not me... It’s far away...’;

• Reduced empathy for other people’s pain and grief;

• Refusal to accept bad news;

• Outbursts of aggression and rage;

• Waiting for the war to end and looking for someone to blame for failures and miscalculations;

• Apathy (‘let it be, I don’t care who I live for’).

– What are the basic principles of psychological assistance and protection during war?

– Depending on the situation, I recommend:

• Turn aggression into a prayer for our victory.

• Practise meditation, it is a great way to get in touch with your subconscious mind.

• Use physical activity to help reduce the level of the stress hormone (cortisol), as well as apply various selfcontrol and recovery techniques.

• Realise and accept the fact that it is useless to look for a ‘magic wand’ and hope that someone will come and save you.

– What are you working on now?

– I continue to provide psychological and medical assistance and do volunteer work. I support mothers who need advice on raising children abroad, because I know from my own experience what it means to be alone with two children in a foreign country. I work with children’s centres and teenagers in crisis situations.

You should know that if we have not died, gone mad, or become depressed, it means that our survival mechanisms are working. We have already overcome the path that we could. We only have to go as far as we need to.

Our guest is a woman who has a real gift for healing human souls. Nataliia is a psychologist, regressionist, nail therapist, psychosomatologist, meta-intuitive coach and medium. She has combined all her competences into a single method called 7D, a system of deep rebooting of the entire human system at the level of the soul, body, energy, conscious, unconscious, time and space.

–Mrs. Nataliia, what tools do you use to help people recover and realise their dreams?

– I use a comprehensive approach, applying the 7D method, which covers all levels of human existence. This is not just psychological or energy work – it is a deep reboot. If a person lacks their own resources, I use my gift. But no, I don’t “roll out an egg” as it was popular in the 90s. My work is a deep interaction with the soul, which evolves through the prism of its own experience. I help to restore the structure of the personality, provide knowledge, practices and skills that a person can use independently for their o.n harmony and integrity.

anymore. The impetus for change was my pregnancy. It was then that I decided to go to therapy, and it was a real breakthrough in my life.

Over time, I realised that psychology alone was not enough, so I started studying regressionology, the science of the human soul. And when my daughter was diagnosed with adenoids, I firmly decided that I would not allow her to undergo surgery, but would understand the problem more deeply. Adenoids are psychosomatic. Thanks to the knowledge and practices I had mastered, my daughter made a full recovery. But I did not stop there - every day is full of new knowledge, challenges and victories.

NATALIIA BYKOVA:

«YOU ARE YOUR DESTINY. EACH OF US IS THE CREATOR OF HIS OR HER OWN REALITY»

– We’ve read a lot of feedback from your clients and are really impressed. Tell us, what do you get out of your mission?

–My mission is not just a job, but my life style. This is the state I am in, my personal flow point, where my soul, energy, purpose, knowledge, experience and skills merge. All this creates a single system that brings real results. For me, this process is alive and multidimensional, and I develop together with those I help. This creates a new realityfor me, for people, for the world as a whole.

– Share your story of formation with our readers. – My story was not an easy one. As a child, I fell down the stairs and bit off the tip of my tongue by more than 90%. After the operation, I had a speech defect, which caused me to face complexes, fears and even bullying from teachers. I felt inferior, but at some point I decided that I didn’t want to live in that state

– Nataliia, you are an incredibly interesting person, and we are proud of your contribution to the development of our world. What words do you seek to inspire our readers with?

– I want you to see that you already have everything you need to create the life of your dreams. You are indestructible, and you don’t need to fix yourself – you just need to remember your power. Your limitations are just programmes that can be rewritten. Your future is not determined by fate – you are creating it right now.

You are your own destiny.

Each of us is the creator of our own reality. All you need to do is awaken this potential, and the world will start changing with you.

I believe in you.

HARMONY THROUGH TOUCH:

RYMMA KOROBKOVA

ON TRADITIONAL MASSAGES THAT CHANGE LIVES

In today’s world, where stress has become a constant companion, the search for harmony between body and soul is becoming a vital necessity. Rymma KOROBKOVA is an expert in traditional massage methods, who combines Korean, Taoist and Ayurvedic techniques for healing. You can find out in our interview, how exactly these methods work and what real stories confirm their effectiveness.

– Mrs. Rymma, how do traditional massage methods - Korean, Taoist and Ayurvedic - promote harmony between body and soul?

– Each of these methods has a positive effect on the physical condition, energy balance and psycho-emotional balance. Korean massage works with energy meridians, deeply affecting muscles and joints. It helps to relieve tension, ease emotional stress and improve body flexibility. Taoist massage promotes the circulation of vital energy “QІ”, harmonises the functioning of internal organs and has a meditative effect that helps to achieve inner peace. Ayurvedic massage focuses on the restoration of the doshas (vata, pitta, kapha), provides deep relaxation and cleansing of the body.

On the physical level, these methods relieve muscle tension, improve blood circulation and stimulate the functioning of internal organs. Energetically, massage helps restore the flow of vital energy, harmonises the chakras and meridians. On the psycho-emotional level, it reduces stress, anxiety and fears, promoting overall relaxation and improved concentration.

– What is the main difference between these methods and how do they affect a person?

– Each of them has its own characteristics and approach to working with the body and energy. Korean massage is based on the concept of energy meridians and activates the flow of “QІ” energy through dynamic movements, pressure and stretching. The combination of physical manipulations and breathing practices helps to improve blood circulation, relieve muscle tension and increase joint mobility. On an emotional level, this massage reduces stress, improves mood and gives vitality. Taoist massage includes deep-impact techniques, including Chi Nei Zang, an abdominal massage that stimulates the functioning of internal organs and normalises digestion. The combination of massage and breathing exercises helps to clear energy blocks, relieve tension and balance the emotional state. Ayurvedic massage uses rhythmic movements and herbal oils to deeply relax

the body, improve lymphatic drainage and normalise sleep. It calms the nervous system, reduces stress and eliminates emotional imbalances.

– Can you share stories of clients whose lives have been changed by traditional massages?

– Yes, there are many cases in my practice where massage has become the key to restoring health.

Maryna, a 30-year-old office worker, suffered from headaches, neck tension and constant fatigue due to her sedentary lifestyle. She started applying the Korean technique of tapping and pressing on active points every morning. After a month, her headaches disappeared, her concentration improved, and she felt refreshed in the morning even without coffee.

Andrii, a 47-year-old businessman, was living under constant stress, which caused digestive problems and gastritis. He started doing regular Taoist abdominal massage Chi Nei Zang, combined with energy practices. After two months, his stomach pain disappeared, his digestion returned to normal, and his stress level decreased significantly.

Olena, a 35-year-old mother of two children, experienced exhaustion, dry skin and insomnia after the birth of her second child. She started practicing Ayurvedic Abhyanga massage with warm sesame oil before bed. Within three weeks, her sleep returned to normal, her skin became hydrated, and her emotional state became stable.

– What advice can you give to those who want to use traditional massages to improve health and harmony?

– Start with simple steps. Spend 5-10 minutes a day doing breathing exercises or tapping your body. Gradually increase the duration of the massage and learn new techniques. The main thing is to be consistent, because regular practice gives the best results. And the most important thing is to take the first step. When a person begins to notice positive changes in their well-being, they realise that prevention is much more effective than treatment.

S YULIIA SPEIAN: «I MAKE PEOPLE MORE CONFIDENT»

he knows how to reveal each of her clients, emphasise their best features, and also gives everyone a good mood! Our guest today is YULIIA SPEIAN, a professional hairdresser from Odesa. In the interview, Yuliia told us about herself and her work, as well as her own recipe for success.

– Yuliia, we are glad to meet you! How did you get into the beauty industry?

– It all started in my childhood. At first, I practised doing hairstyles on dolls. Then I cut the hair of my girlfriends and relatives. Over time, I fell in love with hairdressing so much that I have been doing it professionally for more than 12 years – I do haircuts, styling, colouring, and braiding of any level of complexity.

– How do you improve your professionalism?

– I regularly take courses to improve my skills, participate in various workshops and trainings. I accept clients regardless of age or gender - women, men, and children. I have recently mastered the art of barbering. I do my best to ensure that stylish men who come to our beauty salon can always use the services of a highly qualified specialist.

– Why do you think clients choose you?

– Many clients who come to me have already had negative experiences with other masters. And I am very happy that I can relieve them of some problems and make them more confident. Hair requires an individual approach. The result depends on this, and it must meet the client’s expectations.

You could say that I also work as a psychologist in parallel. After all, I often have to give advice, just listen to a client who needs to share their pain with someone, especially in our time of war.

– I know you do a lot of volunteer work. When do you find the time?

– Usually, after my main job in the salon, or on weekends, I cut hair for lowincome people, pensioners who cannot move independently, children with Down syndrome, autism, who need a special approach. I do it absolutely free of charge

or for a nominal fee if the clients have guardians or relatives.

I get pleasure from my work, from helping people, making them more beautiful, tidy, and therefore happier. I love the phrase: “The hand of the giver shall not be impoverished.” This is universal wisdom that works in all areas. I am sure that greedy people will never receive any support from others because they do not know how to share. Instead, goodness is always returned a hundredfold.

– What goals do you set for yourself?

– I really dream of trying my hand at prestigious competitions. However, I’m still just preparing for it. I believe that everything has its time. The right moment will definitely come when I will be able to prove my professionalism and glorify our Ukraine at the international level.

– Where can you be found?

– Our cosy beauty salon “Zebra” is located in Odesa. Its advantages are modern equipment, comfortable furniture, and a friendly atmosphere. Thanks to the generator, we work even during power cuts. And, for the convenience and comfort of clients, my partners work next to me –manicure and sugaring masters, massage therapists and eyebrow artists. I will be happy to welcome new clients!

BEAUTY FOR YOURSELF: KLAVDIIA VYNNYCHENKO ON HOW PLASTIC SURGERY HELPS YOU FIND INNER HARMONY

Klavdiia VYNNYCHENKO is an experienced plastic surgeon and owner of the VIST plastic surgery and cosmetology clinic. She talks about how aesthetic medicine helps people feel better.

– Mrs. Klavdiia, how did you decide to become a plastic surgeon?

– I grew up in a medical family: my father is a surgeon and my mother is a nurse. Since childhood, I dreamed of medicine. At first, I chose microsurgery, worked as an ophthalmologist. After maternity leave, I changed my specialisation to dermatology and cosmetology, but plastic surgery remained my goal. In 2019, I received a specialisation in surgery and opened the VIST clinic in Sumy.

Currently, I work in Kyiv and study at the postgraduate program of the O. O. Bogomolets National Medical University.

– Is there a connection between external beauty and internal harmony? How does plastic surgery help a person feel better?

– A harmonious person reflects their inner state through their appearance, and at the same time, their appearance affects their well-being. Plastic surgery not only changes facial features or figure, but also helps to emphasise individual beauty and self-confidence. My task is to sustain this balance.

– How do you help patients find harmony between how they want to look and how they perceive themselves?

– Sometimes people have high or low expectations of plastic surgery. My job is not only to perform the surgery, but also to help the patient understand their true needs. I always carefully discuss all the nuances and explain the possible results. It is important for me as a specialist to be honest and objective, because the main goal of the surgery is not just to change the appearance, but to improve the quality of life.

– What changes do you observe in patients’ lives after plastic surgery?

– In addition to external transformations, many patients experience a change in their attitude towards themselves and the world. They become more confident, more open in communication, and build more harmonious relationships. Some patients even note positive changes in their health. For example, there have been cases when, after correcting their hormonal background, women’s cycles normalised, and those who could not get pregnant for a long time became mothers.

– What advice can you give to those who doubt the feasibility of plastic surgery?

– In our clinic, we always conduct comprehensive examinations to determine whether the patient really needs surgical intervention. It is important to take into account both the physical and psychological state, consult with other specialists – a gynaecologist, an endocrinologist, and undergo the necessary examinations.

Plastic surgery is not about radical changes beyond recognition, but about preserving individuality, emphasising natural beauty and inner harmony.

very woman dreams of a perfect make-up that does not require constant renewal. For Galyna Levchenko, a permanent makeup artist, this dream has come true. She told us how she overcame her fears and doubts on the way to the profession and what important points to consider when choosing a master.

– Mrs. Galyna, how did you get into the field of permanent make-up?

– I have worked in various positions and had never even considered the beauty industry before. However, when the question arose of how to combine time for my children with the need to have a stable income, I decided to try myself in this field. At first, it was difficult mentally, because I was working with people’s faces and trying to meet their expectations as much as possible. I took additional courses and learnt new techniques to become better for my clients. And even today, I continue to improve. My professional development largely depends on the joy of my clients after the procedures – it gives me the strength to move forward.

– What is the most important thing when choosing a permanent makeup artist? What should clients pay attention to?

– First of all, it is important to pay attention to the experience of the master. Only an experienced specialist will be able to realise your wishes quickly, professionally, and painlessly. It is equally important to follow all the recommendations for healing, as well as a mandatory visit for correction, because it is after it that the permanent will have a better and longer lasting look.

NSPIRATION AND PROFESSIONALISM IN PERMANENT MAKE-UP: SECRETS OF GALYNA LEVCHENKO

When I first started my career, there were many different names for powder eyebrows, but in my opinion, this is mostly a marketing ploy. It’s not the name that matters, but the technique of execution and individual approach.

– What are the most common myths about permanent makeup that you hear from clients? How do you debunk them?

– Often clients come to me without a clear idea of what they want from permanent make-up. My task is to help them understand all the stages of the procedure: from choosing the shape and colour to complete healing. I’ve been working in this field for many years, so before each procedure I ask them about their apprehension and explain in detail how everything will happen so that my clients feel at ease. Many of them later become my good friends – we form a very close bond.

– What are the current trends and techniques that are popular in the field of permanent makeup? What are your unique methods?

– I always choose an individual approach for each client – shape, colour, type of needle, anaesthesia. Therefore, I can say with confidence that my method is unique for every woman. Naturalness and lightness are gaining popularity nowadays. Clients are increasingly choosing soft shades and the most natural look. I always focus on the client’s appearance features to emphasise her natural beauty.

А ELVIRA BOHDAN: «SKIN BIOHACKING. HOW TO PRESERVE YOUTH IN THE RHYTHM OF A BIG CITY»

modern woman is energy, leadership and beauty. But it is the face that first reveals fatigue, stress and overload. How can you maintain youthfulness and freshness when your schedule is scheduled to the minute? The answer is skin biohacking. This is not just a trend, but a scientific approach to maintaining natural beauty at the cellular level.

Skin biohacking is a comprehensive strategy that includes cell repair and protection, work with exosomes and growth factors, antioxidant support, and inflammation regulation. It is not only about cosmetics, but also about professional cosmetic procedures. How does it work in practice?

1. NEW GENERATION COSMETICS: CARE AT THE CELLULAR LEVEL.

Choose products that work inside the cell.

• Exosomes are nanoparticles that transmit signals to cells for rejuvenation and regeneration.

• Peptides and growth factors – activators of regeneration.

• New generation antioxidants – powerful protection against stress and the aggressive impact of the metropolis.

2. INJECTION TECHNOLOGIES.

When an instant effect is needed, innovative injection procedures come to the rescue.

• Exosome cocktails – trigger skin regeneration and rejuvenation at the cellular level.

• Mesotherapy with peptides, amino acids, and growth factors.

• Skin boosters and biorevitalisation – for deep moisturising and restoring skin density.

• Botulinum therapy – to relax muscles and eliminate facial wrinkles.

THE RESULT: the skin becomes dense, radiant, without the effect of an “injected face”.

3. INTERNAL BIOHACKING.

Your diet and nutritional supplements play a key role in your skin’s condition.

• Antioxidants – protect against free radicals.

• Omega-3 – improves skin elasticity and hydration.

• Vitamin D – for immunity and radiance.

• Complexes for mitochondrion – energy for cells.

• Collagen – improves skin elasticity.

4. BEAUTY DRIP.

When there is no time for a course of procedures, beauty drip can help:

• Glutathione – a powerful antioxidant that cleanses cells and evens out skin tone.

• Vitamin C and B complex – for energy, skin radiance, and collagen stimulation.

• Amino acids – for recovery after stress.

• Trace elements (zinc, selenium, magnesium) – to support the immune system.

The result:

• Improved complexion

• Deep hydration of the skin

• Elimination of signs of fatigue

• Restoration of energy

Biohacking is an investment in your appearance that speaks of your success. Skin biohacking is a lifestyle for a modern woman who wants to manage her age as effectively as she manages her own business.

— Myroslava, what emotions did you feel when you received such a high distinction as “Top Beauty Expert”?

— Greetings. This award is recognition of my high level of expertise in the beauty industry. It inspires me to improve even more and upgrade my skills to help girls feel more beautiful and confident.

— What are your advantages among other masters?

— My main advantage is my values and philosophy. I use effective techniques that provide visible results without injections and plastic surgery. The most important thing for me is to preserve facial expressions, naturalness and authenticity. Cosmetology should emphasise natural features, not change a person beyond recognition.

Beauty is not only a reflection in the mirror, but also a story that can be written beautifully. That’s why I always advocate the preservation of

natural beauty and help my clients look young throughout their lives.

— Is non-surgical facelift your main professional feature? What techniques do you use?

— Non-surgical lifting is my particular specialisation. I use newgeneration hardware techniques and innovative products that serve as an alternative to injections and plastic surgery. They provide excellent results without a long recovery. Each procedure is aimed at deep skin renewal, and the care programme is individually tailored to the needs of each client. And, of course, my experience – more than six years in this field – plays an important role.

— The beauty industry is developing rapidly. What innovations can we expect in the near future?

— Yes, the beauty industry is developing incredibly fast, and at the same time, customer demands are changing. Today, more and more

girls want to get non-traumatic, painless procedures without a long recovery, but with a long-lasting effect. And I am really happy about this trend, because it is fully in line with my values.

I am constantly studying the latest techniques. Today, hardware technology has become a fullfledged alternative to surgery. Biotechnology also allows us to create innovative and sustainable ingredients for cosmetics, which significantly increases their effectiveness.

— What would you like to say to the readers in conclusion?

— I wish all our readers and each of them to always be themselves - confident, inspired and beautiful. Remember that true beauty is not only about well-groomed skin, but also about your inner world. Love yourself, appreciate every moment and never settle for less than you deserve.

You deserve the best!

Т INNA KOLT: HOW A UKRAINIAN WOMAN CONQUERED THE US BEAUTY INDUSTRY

he path to success in the beauty industry is often thorny, but also incredibly exciting. The story of Inna KOLT is a vivid confirmation of this. Having started her career in Ukraine, she not only conquered the American beauty market by opening her own successful salon in Palm Coast, but also became a recognised expert by developing unique author’s techniques.

— Mrs. Inna, please share your professional path and greatest achievements in the beauty industry.

— I started my career in 2009 with eyelash extensions in Sevastopol. After moving to the United States in May 2022, I actively developed and in two years in Palm Coast I became a sought-after master and opened my own salon.

My achievements include the development of unique techniques, victories in championships, invitations to the jury of international competitions, membership in the Society of Professionals of Ukraine, the status of a certified SPU trainer, eight licences in the United States and more than forty certificates. I also completed training at the Miami Medical Academy and received my Electrologist licence.

— You have a lot of experience, so you can give an objective assessment of the Ukrainian beauty industry. What is it like from your point of view?

— The Ukrainian beauty industry is one of the strongest and most dynamic in the world. Our masters are known for their high level of professionalism. There are many talented professionals working in Ukraine who shape and even outpace global trends.

— You have been working in the US for over 2.5 years. What are the advantages of our masters?

— The main difference is in naturalness. In the US, clients prefer natural shapes, soft and light eyebrows, avoiding wide, graphic lines and excessive shading. Ukrainian masters are very technical and often create expressive, contrasting works with shading. However, the main advantage of Ukrainian specialists is their eagerness to learn, creative approach, and the speed of development in the profession.

— What relevant services do you offer to women abroad?

— At my Palm Coast salon, clients can receive premium permanent makeup services: “Natural Powder Eyebrows”, arrows, lips; eyelash extensions using the “One Tweezer” technique, laser tattoo removal, as well as laser hair removal using a diode laser.

In addition, I conduct individual master classes for specialists who want to master the “Natural Powder Eyebrows” technique.

— In conclusion, please share a few tips with our readers who want to develop in the beauty industry.

— The most important thing is to never stop learning and constantly improve your skills. Second, don’t be afraid to try new things. And third, create your own unique style. If you dream of working abroad, study the laws, licensing procedures and the level of demand in advance.

I wish you all success and inspiration on this exciting journey!

LLESIA MALYNKA: A HOLIDAY HOST, MUM AND VOLUNTEER WHO

IS NOT AFRAID TO BE REAL

esia Malynka is a well-known host of festive events for many people. She not only creates a special atmosphere for important life moments, but also actively helps the Ukrainian Armed Forces by combining volunteering with her professional activities.

– Mrs. Lesia, what is the story behind your path?

– I was born and live in Yahotyn district. As a child, I was a quiet girl, often sick and crying. But when I was 10, I went to a children’s sanatorium in Odesa. It was a turning point. That’s when I realised that the stage was for me.

– So, how and when did you decide to become a holiday event host?

– At some point, my friend asked me to host her birthday party. Then it was a wedding, and it all started to spin! That was over 15 years ago. Since then, I have been professionally involved in organising events, taking part in various masterclasses, and sometimes even helping colleagues create events.

– You not only create the atmosphere at the holidays, but also volunteer. How do you manage to combine these areas?

– With the start of the full-scale invasion, I realised that we needed to support the Ukrainian Armed Forces. At first, it was clothes, food and other necessary things. But even during the war, I continue to give people positive emotions. Life goes on, and even in the most difficult moments, you need to find time for joy. I always open the collection at festive events, and all donations go to support our guys at the front.

– You are a mother of two sons. How does your work affect your family life?

– Yes, I am a mother of two wonderful boys. The eldest is 23 years old, he already lives on his own, works and studies. And the younger one is 14 years old and in the 9th grade. He is our little helper and understands perfectly well that his parents are working to ensure a happy future for him. My husband and I have been together for almost 25 years. We set our priorities simply: family always comes first, and everything else is a supplement to that.

– How did you become a psychologist, and did it influence your work as a party host?

– In 2013, I entered the Hryhorii Skovoroda University, where I received a degree in practical psychology. I worked as a teacher at Prolisok kindergarten for six years, but my real passion is for festive events. Psychology helped me in this profession because I can not only create an atmosphere, but also support people, help them feel comfortable and happy.

– How would you describe yourself now?

– I accept myself as I am. I am not perfect, but I am real. I am grateful to God for my parents, for the support of my husband and friends. I live my life with joy because every day brings new opportunities for development, support and help.

ANASTASIIA VINAT: NAIL THERAPY AND NUMEROLOGY CHANGE LIVES

nastasiia VINAT is a numerologist, nail therapist and MAC specialist from Kharkiv. For over five years, she has been helping people unlock their potential and change their lives. Read about her path, experience and unique methods in an exclusive interview.

— Mrs. Anastasiia, please tell us how you came to numerology and nail therapy.

— In the past, I went through a difficult period: problems in my family, health problems, conflicts at work. It made me think: why is there so much chaos in my life and how can I find harmony? I came across a course on numerology, and it was a real discovery for me. The date of birth carries unique information about a person – their strengths, purpose, and character traits. I began to study this science in depth, completed many training programmes and have already conducted over 1000 consultations.

Later, I attended a women’s nail therapy group. The leader noted that I had a very subtle sense of this practice. At first, I didn’t pay much attention to it, but after a few sessions I realised that it really works.

— What is nail therapy and how does it affect a person?

— It is a technique for working with the body, mind and energy. Standing on nails activates the nervous system, improves blood circulation and helps to get rid of emotional blocks. Nail therapy helps to improve self-perception and find a balance between the physical and mental state.

— You actively promote nail therapy. Is there any interest in this practice?

— More and more people are discovering this technique. In 2023, I held women’s circles in Odesa, where girls from Mykolaiv came specifically to try this practice. Participants from Kyiv, Dnipro, and Poltava also come to Kharkiv. People want to make deeper changes in their lives, and nail therapy helps them do that.

— Is it possible to do nail therapy independenly?

— Yes, but it is very important to follow safety rules. That is why I created a course for safe and independent practice. Thanks to the video lessons, people can practice at home, following all the steps correctly.

— You also work with numerology. How does it help people?

— Numerology provides an understanding of a person’s life purpose, strengths and weaknesses. It helps to choose favourable periods for changes, to understand where to direct energy. In addition, I work with children’s numerology – it helps parents better understand their children and support their development.

— What advice would you give to people who want to change their lives but don’t know where to start?

— It is important to listen to yourself, your intuition. Numerology, nail therapy or other practices can be a tool for better understanding yourself. Don’t be afraid to experiment and discover new opportunities. And most importantly, don’t let other people’s opinions stop you from following your own path.
