Why? The main goal of each and every event is to make an impression on its target group. To impress, intrigue, wonder, laugh, entertain, teach, raise awareness, stimulate emotion. To create energy, establish the frequency, and thus, find its way to, usually over-engaged brain of the participants and create an impulse referring to the company, brand, a product or a theme, new approach or idea.

When this is not the case, the effect of such an event is like an unwinding of a rich wrapped gift, that is, when the box is opened, empty. There’s nothing. If you have not made an impression at event, it is as if you organized an event where nobody showed up. “The effect” is the same.

To forestall such a nightmare for any organizer, it is necessary at the very outset to be so aware of what is the most appealing to all delegates. Logical, right?

For this purpose, in this issue of SEEbtm magazine, we explored what the participants of the event considered most important to them and what made the greatest impression, depending on whether they attended a congress, seminar, corporate gathering or team building. If you apply or change at least one thing you’ve learned by reading a magazine, we feel that we have achieved a success.

n o v o s t i Novi hoteli u Trebinju Trebinje, najjužniji grad Republike Srpske i Bosne i Hercegovine, uskoro će postati bogatiji za dva nova hotela - SL i Central Park.

Hotel SL nalazi se u industriskoj zoni Trebinja na mestu stare upravne zgrade fabrike alata. Ceo enterijer je industrijski, a kapaciteta je 50 soba.

Konferencijska sala primaće 100 ljudi.

Central park nalazi se u strogom centru Trebinja, u zgradi starog Đačkog doma.

Hotel će imati 50 soba i 60 mesta u konferencijskoj sali. Enterijer, kao i fasada, zamišljeni su u austrougarskom stilu, poput hotela u evropskim prestonicama.

Konvencija evropskih pivara u Ljubljani Ovogodišnja Konvencija evropskih pivara održaće se od 14. do 18. maja u Cankarjevom Domu u Ljubljani, u blizini istorijskog dela grada.

Cankarjev Dom je izabran zbog toga što pruža mogućnosti za tehničke, tehnološke i naučne prezentacije i predavanja.

Prvi put se industrija piva okupila još davne 1947. godine na kongresu u holand­ skom delu Sheveningena. Delegati su tada obećali da će poboljšati situaciju u ovoj industriji, kao i infrastrukturu, koja je Drugim svetskim ratom bila potpuno razorena i praktično više nije ni postojala.

Ove godine slave 70 godina postojanja i 36. po redu konvenciju.

Rumunija – zemlja u kojoj stranci žive jeftino Najnovija studija koju je sprovela InterNations, najveća mreža ljudi koja živi i radi u inostranstvu, pokazala je top 13 zemalja u kojima se može živeti vrlo jeftino ukoliko ste stranac.

Jedna od podkategorija ove studije bila je „životni troškovi“, gde su podaci sakup­ ljani isključivo na osnovu odgovora ukupnih životnih troškova u 67 zemalja na skali od 1 do 7. Minimalan uzorak po zemlji je bio 50 ispitanika, a preko 45 zemalja imalo ih je više od 100.

Rezultati pokazuju da se na 13. mestu našla Rumunija. Vlada ove države rastom potrošnje i poreskim olakšicama stimuliše akivnosti u zemlji, što povećava mogućnosti za zapošljavanje lokalnog stanovništva, ali i stranaca.

Sa druge strane, životni troškovi su ostali niski.

KongresnA industrija odgovorila na TrUmp-ovu zabranu Kongresna industrija sveta počela je da reaguje na kontroverznu putnu zabranu i ulazak u SAD za sedam pretežno muslimanskih država (Sirija, Irak, Sudan, Libija, Somalija, Jemen i Iran), koju je uveo novi predsednik SAD-a, Donald Trump.

Ovakva odluka imaće posledice po kongresnu industriju, smatraju stručnjaci, samo je pitanje kakve će one biti i kog obima.

Neki od njih, su spremni da sačekaju i vide kako će se situacija razvijati na dalje, dok drugi traže hitnu reakciju, te već pokušavaju da lobiraju u Beloj kući i time smanje štetu koja može biti nanesena.

Martin Sirk, generalni direktor ICCA-e smatra da će mnogi biti prisiljeni da izaberu druge destinacije u kojima njihovi delegati neće biti diskriminisani ili suočeni sa preprekama kao što je slučaj u SAD-u.

Robert Gasser je novi generalni direktor Courtyard Belgrade City Center hotela Hotel Courtyard Belgrade City Center dobio je novog generalnog direktora.

Gospodin Robert Gasser je u ovaj beogradski hotel došao nakon boravka u hotelima Marriott lanca širom sveta sa ciljem da upotpuni njegovu ponudu.

Pored toga, on će Beograd predstaviti kao novu destinaciju potencijalnim inostranim posetiocima.

n e w s New hotels in Trebinje Trebinje, the southernmost town of the Republic of Srpska and Bosnia and Her­ zegovina, will soon become richer for two new hotels - SL and Central Park.

Hotel SL is in the industrial zone of Trebinje, where it used to be an old tool factory’s administration building. Complete interior will be industrial, with the capacity of 50 rooms. Conference room will be for up to 100 people. Central Park is in the city center of Trebinje, in the building of an old Dorm. The hotel will have 50 rooms and meeting room capacity of 60. Interior, as facade too, are supposed to be in Austro-Hungary design, alike hotels in European capitals.

European Breweries Convention in Ljubljana This year’s convention of European Breweries will be held from 14th to 18th May in Cankarjev Dom in Ljubljana, near the historical part of the city.

Cankarjev Dom was chosen because it provides opportunities for technical, technological and scientific presentations and lectures.

The beer industry gathered for the first time back in 1947 at the Congress in the Dutch part of Scheveningen. Delegates then promised to improve the situation in this industry, as well as the infrastructure, which was completely destroyed in the Second World War and practically no longer existed.

This year, they will celebrate 70 years of existence and 36th convention.

Romania – a country where foreigners live at low-cost The most recent study conducted by the InterNations, the largest network of people who live and work abroad, presented a list of top 13 countries in which one can live at very low-cost as a foreigner.

One of the sub-categories of this study was the “cost of living”, where the data were collected solely on the basis of the answers of total cost of living in 67 countries on a scale from 1 to 7. The minimum sample by a country included 50 respondents, while more than 45 countries had them more than 100.

The results show that Romania was in the 13th position. The government of this state stimulates activities in the country by consumption growth and tax exem­ ptions, which increases the employment opportunities for both local people and foreigners as well. On the other hand, the costs of living are low.

Događaji u regionu jugoistočne Evrope SEEbtm 2016 Beograd, Srbija 18. novembar 2016. godine U organizaciji portala Kongresniturizam.com i SEE business travel & meetings magazina, okupljena je, po 6. put, kongres­ na industrija re­gi­­o­na, na sada već tradicionalnom događaju – popularno poznatom kao SEEbtm Party.

Tom prilikom je obeležena i prva decenija rada por­ta­la Kongresniturizam.com. Conventa Experience 2017 Ljubljana, Slovenija 18 – 19. januar 2017. godine Conventa, sajam kongresne industrije, održan je po deveti put od 18. do 19. januara 2017. godine u Ljubljani u Sloveniji.

Na sajmu je bilo 149 izlagača iz 35 zemalja koje su činili hoteli, kongresni centri i DMC iz deset ze­ malja jugoistočne Evrope, kao i 170 međunarodnih planera događajaj i oko 100 planera koji dolaze iz regiona i Slovenije.

Feel the Winter Magic

The Place Where the Fairytale Becomes True When the winter comes, snow falls on the city streets, everything becomes fre­ ezing, all you could wish is to disappear and wake up at some peaceful place, in wild nature, a white wonderland. This kind of world exists in fairytales but al­so in some distant parts of the world. Try to find it on map or in dreams, but vi­siting it is a must.

All of things below could be found at few places in the world but some of them only at one place.

Consider organizing an incentive trip for your clients or employees on winter, as the unforgettable experience is guaranteed!

1. Have a special transport from airport. Would you be surprised if instead of car, snowmobile is waiting for you at airport? Start your event differently and orga­ nize these vehicles for whole gro­up, from airport through sno­wy forests, over frozen lakes and rivers, to the final destinati­ on. Perhaps one of the most ex­ otic experiences is driving in the moonlight, under the starry sky, looking for Northern Lights. So, night flights are better o­ption.

2. Sleep in igloo hotel. While out­ side temperatures may reach -30 degrees Celsius, you could remain inside “in warm”. These hotels and its’ rooms are built entirely of snow and ice, with constant temperature of just below zero degrees Celsius.

But sleeping bag, designed for extreme conditions, will keep your mind and body warm throughout this special expe­ rience. For some less brave, the­re are also holiday villages or maybe luxury tree-house hotel.

Also, here is an idea how to make a game for the group – try to build an igloo. It looks easy, just draw a circle, make an ice bricks and start laying them around the circle all away to the

top, then clear your entrance way and give your igloo final touch by filing the gaps.

3. Make friends with reindeers and huskies. The most traditio­ nal way to move through and discover the snow areas and its’ nature is by pulled sleighs.

Let the reindeers and excited hu­sky dogs to pull you and show you around.

Santa Claus Village – from start to today After Rovaniemi was almost com­ pletely destroyed in World War II, in 1950 Eleanor Roosevelt, the wife of US President Franklin D. Roose­ velt, came to visit it and witness the rebuilding process.

For that occasion city officials rus­ hed to build a cabin eight kilome­ ters north of the city.

That cabin marked the birth of San­ta Claus Village and still stands to­day next to Santa Claus Main Po­ st Office. Today, at the Santa Claus Village, there is Santa’s house with his per­sonal office and reception.

Also, a shopping centre with genu­ ine gifts and other beautiful items, then coffee shops, restaurants and many different types of program­ me services.

Santa Claus Village is open every­ day of the year, and present bestknown attraction in Finland.

Svetsko prvenstvo u umetničkom klizanju 2017

Potpuno razumevanje događaja i obraćanje pažnje na detalje su ključni Laura Raitio, potpredsednica Organizacionog komiteta

O predstojećem Svetskom prven­ stvu u umetničkom klizanju 2017. godine, koje će se održati u Helsin­ kiju u Finskoj od 29. marta do 02. aprila, imali smo čast da razgo­ varamo sa gđom Laurom Raitio, potpredsednicom Organizacionog komiteta i predsednicom Finskog saveza za umetničko klizanje. Šta je potrebno za ulogu doma­ ćina Svetskog prvenstva u umet­ ničkom klizanju?

Za Finski savez za umetničko kliza­ nje ovo predstavlja veliki projekat i mnogo pažnje i truda posvećujemo ovoj temi.

Sastavili smo Komisiju za organiza­ ciju, kao i projektni tim, koji rade punom parom već dve i po godine i postepeno smo dodatno pojačali resurse tima kako se događaj bliži.

Organizacija od više od 400 osoba je sada u potpunosti funkcionalna.

Većina tih ljudi su volonteri koji že­ le da budu deo kreiranja i organizo­ vanja ovog sjajnog događaja.

Dakle, potrebni su posvećenost, inovativnost i ozbiljan rad.

Svetsko prvenstvo 2017. godine se dešava samo godinu dana pre Zim­ skih olimpijskih igara u Pjongčan­gu, pa zato ovo takmičenje ima izuzet­ nu važnost za klizače.

Da li možete da prognozirate eko­nomski uticaj događaja na grad?

Jako je teško dati preciznu brojku, ali uticaj se naravno oseća u hote­ lima i restoranima, kao i drugim kulturnim atrakcijama u gradu.

Uspostavili smo saradnju sa npr.

Narodnom operom i baletom, kao i Narodnim pozorištem.

Koliko traju pripreme i organizacija prvenstva?

Pripreme traju jako dugo, u našem slučaju oko dve i po godine.

Naravno, najveća napetost se ose­ ća tokom 12 meseci pre Svetskog prvenstva.

Koliko takmičara i posetilaca očekujete?

Očekujemo oko 200 klizača iz celog sveta. Broj karata koji se nadamo da ćemo prodati je negde u rangu od 60.000 do 70.000.

Prema Vašem mišljenju, šta jeste ili je bilo najzahtevniji aspekt organizacije?

Organizacija ovog događaja podra­ zumeva potpuno razumevanje kom­ pletnog događaja i takmičenja – kako se vodi takmičenje, koje uslu­ ge su potrebne, koje bezbednosne mere treba preduzeti itd.

S druge strane, podjednako je važ­ no da ni­jedan detalj – čak ni onaj najmanji – ne bude zaboravljen ili za­nemaren. Sve mora da funkcio­ niše tako glatko da klizači mogu da daju sve od sebe, da članovi or­­ga­ nizacije mogu da rade kako treba i da publika može da uživa i navija za klizače. Želimo da napravimo događaj ko­ji će se pamtiti kao inovativan, osvežavajući i radostan – kao do­ gađaj gde su mogli da se vide sjajni nastupi u umetničkom klizanju.

Full Understanding of the Event and Attention to Details are Crucial

About the upcoming World Figure Skating Championships 2017 which will be held in Helsinki in Finland, from 29th March till 2nd April, we had the honor to speak with Mrs. Laura Raitio, Vice Chairman of the Organizing Committee and the President of the Finnish Figure Skating Association.

What it takes to be the host of World Figure Skating Championships?

For the Finnish Figure Skating As­so­ ciation this is a major project and a lot of our attention and focus go­es on to this topic.

We have had the Organizing Com­ mittee and a pro­ject team in place and in full ope­ration for ca. 2,5 ye­ ars and gra­dually we have fur­t­her strengthened the team reso­urces as the event comes closer.

An organization of over 400 persons in now in place. The majority of these people are volunteers, who want to be part of creating and organizing this great event.

So, commitment, innovativeness, and hard work is needed.

70,000. As World Championships 2017 are just one year prior the Olympic Winter Games in Pye­ong­ Chang, this competition has a very important position for the skaters.

Can you make projection of economic impact of the event on the city?

It is rather difficult to give an actual figure, but the impact is naturally seen in the hotels and restaurants and additionally also in other cul­tu­ ral attractions in the city.

We work in co-operation e.g. with our National Opera and Ballet and also National Theatre.

How long does the preparation and organization of the Championships last?

The preparation takes a long time, in our case about 2,5 years. Inten­ sity is obviously highest during the 12 months’ period prior the Championships.

In your opinion, what is/was the most demanding aspect of the organization?

The organisation requires a full understanding of the overall event and competition – how competi­ tion is run, what services are ne­eded, what safety measures needs to be taken, etc. On the other hand, it is equally important that details, not even the small ones, are not forgetten or ignored.

Everything must flow smoothly so that the skaters can achieve their best performance, the officials can work as needed, and the audience can enjoy and support the skaters.

We want to create an event that would be memorized having been innovative, fresh, joyful and where one would have seen great per­ formances in figure skating.

How many contestants and visitors do you expect?

We expect a number of ca. 200 skaters from all over the world.

Utisak i doživljaj destinacije kao referenca za naredne klijente

Kada sumiramo rezultate, da li se i prethodna godina može okarakterisati kao uspešna za turizam Srbije?

Na koje aktivnosti je TOS bio fo­kusiran u domenu kongresnog turizma u 2016. godini?

Turistička organizacija Srbije (TOS) je i u 2016. godini nastavila sa sna­žnim promotivnim aktivnos­tima na međunarodnom, ali i do­maćem trži­štu.

Miks tradicionalnih i sav­re­menih kanala komunikacije sa kli­jenti­ma, posrednicima, no­vinarima, bloge­ rima i turistima pokazuje do­bre rezultate zbog čega nije izostao ni devizni priliv od međunarodnog turizma koji ove godine iznosi jednu milijardu evra, uz dvocifreni porast broja stranih turista.

TOS je značajne aktivnosti imao i na tzv. prekomorskim tržištima, poput Kine, gde se Srbija već pozicionirala kao jedna od vodećih regionalnih destinacija.

Turistička organizacija Srbije, kroz aktivnosti svog odeljenja, Kongre­ snog biroa Srbije, fokus je stavila na dva aspekta.

Kongresni i poslovni gosti imaju svo­je zasluženo mesto u ovim rezultatima, i u narednom periodu daljim adekvatnim prilagođava­ njem mar­keting miksa TOS će nas­taviti podjednako kvalitetno da pred­stavlja Srbiju i kao turističku i kao kongresnu destinaciju.

Prvi se odnosi na proces is­ticanja kandidature gde je započeto 40 procesa kandidovanja za međunarodne kongre­se u saradnji sa najuspešnijim dok­torima, naučni­ cima i profesionalcima u različitim oblastima.

Drugi aspekt se odnosi na organi­ zo­vanje inspekcija destinacije za do­no­sioce odluka.

Moram da napo­menem da u ovoj aktivnosti Turistička organizacija Srbije, i Biro kao njen sastavni deo, imaju snažnu podršku naših par­ tnera iz kongresne industrije, tako da je boravak gotovo 250 među­ narodnih organizatora kongresa u Srbiji postignut uz njihovu nesebi­ čnu pomoć i koordinaciju. poracijama ili stranim PCO i DMC agencijama koje su tokom ne­koliko dana uspele da nauče mno­go o Srbiji i svakako ponesu najpovoljni­ je utiske.

Ovo je rezultat saradnje svih kon­ gresnih stejkholdera.

Kakve rezultate možemo da oče­ kujemo od ovih aktivnosti u narednom periodu?

Od ukupnog broja započetih kan­ didatura, 18 je završeno uspešno, 2 smo za sada izgubili, ali nastavlja­ mo proces, a za ostalih 20 u nared­ nom periodu očekujemo rezultate.

Ovo je veoma bitno za turizam Srbi­ je, jer smo prešli u proces proaktiv­ ne prodaje koja će destinacijama u Srbiji doneti nekoliko desetina miliona evra prihoda.

Isto tako, ovo je bi­tno i za priv­ redu Srbi­je, sistem obrazovanja, is­tra­živačke centre, institute... jer će u svojoj ze­mlji imati priliku da predstave rezultate rada kolegama i mogućim kupcima u inostranstvu.

Na ovaj način efekat međunarod­ nog kongresa koji se dešava u Srbiji se višestruko povećava.

Inspekcije destinacije pokazuju sja­j­ne rezultate, jer na licu mesta u direktnom razgovoru sa klijentom imamo mogućnost da ukažemo na prednosti Srbije kao kongresne de­ stinacije, odnosno da odgovorimo na izazove koje potencijalni klijenti stavljaju ispred nas. Klijenti mogu da se upoznaju sa realnim nivoom usluge kao i da objektivno iskuse i dožive Srbiju.

Već u prvih nekoliko meseci 2017. godine u Srbiju će, na osnovu do­ bro pripremljenih i koordiniranih inspekcija destinacije, doći nekoliko velikih korporativnih grupa.

hotele sa značajnim konferencijs­ kim kapacitetima koji konstantno ulažu u podizanje kvaliteta usluge, odličnu avio povezanost, kulturne i istorijske spomenike koji svoje kapacitete stavljaju u funkciju or­ ganizacije događaja.

Veoma bitan adut Srbije odnosi se na ukupan doživljaj i iskustva koje klijenti mogu da steknu u Srbiji.

U eri savremenog načina života, koncept boravka u neurbanom ok­ruženju, kombinaciji tradicije i kulture, domaće i organske hrane, okružen dobrim domaćinima je ne­ što što destinaciju može da izdvoji od ostalih. Stvari koje zameraju, ili bolje reći stvari u kojima postoji prostor za napredak, odnose se, pre svega, na unapređenje opšte infrastrukture kako bi pojedinačne destinacije bile lakše dostupne.

I konačno, utisak i doživljaj koji

klijent stekne u Srbiji najbitnija je referenca za buduće klijente i kongrese. U 2016. godini u našoj zemlji održano je oko 70 kongresa međunarodnih asocijacija.

Događaji poput Svet­skog kongresa vizantoloških studija (1.500 dele­ gata) i Svetskog kongresa za upra­ vljanje čvrstim otpadom (1.400 de­legata) dokazali su da Srbija mo­že da ispuni i najkompleksnije za­h­te­ve or­ganizatora i delegata iz čita­vog sveta.

Reči pohvale odnose se na pro­fe­ si­onalnu organizaciju, izuzetnu stru­č­nost lokalnih domaćina, pre­d­ u­sre­tljivost osoblja, atmosferu do­ brodošlice na svakom koraku, dok su naši muzeji, manastiri, vinarije i salaši kreirali sjajne doživljaje koji se i dalje prepričavaju.

When we sum up the results, can the previous year be des­ cribed as a successful year for Serbian tourism?

Which activities NTOS focused on in the me­ etings industry segment in 2016?

National Tourism Organisation of Serbia (NTOS) continued with strong promo­tional activities both in international, and in the local market in 2016.

A mix of traditional and modern channels of communication with customers, agents, journalists, blog­gers and tourists showed good results, hence the foreign currency inflow from international tourism that amounts to one billion euros for this year, with a double-digit growth in the recorded number of foreign tourists.

NTOS had significant activities in the overseas markets, such as China, where Serbia has already positio­ned itself as one of the lead­ ing regi­onal destinations.

Congress and corporate guests su­rely can find their well-deserved place in these results, and NTOS will continue to equally well repre­ sent Serbia as a tourist destination and as a MICE destination in the upco­ming period, further appropri­ ately adjusting the marketing mix.

National Tourism Organisation of Serbia, through the activities of its department, Serbia Convention Bureau, focused on two aspects.

The first one refers to the process of candidacy, where 40 bidding procedures for international conferences have been initiated, in cooperation with the most suc­cessful doctors, scientists and profes­sionals in various fields.

The second aspect refers to orga­ nizing destination inspections for decision makers. I have to point out that National Tourism Organi­ sation of Serbia, and the Bureau as its integral part, have strong sup­ port of our partners in the meet­ ings industry in this activi­ty, so the stay of almost 250 international congress organizers in Serbia has been achieved with their gener­ ous help and coordination. We are tal­king about the secretariats of international associations, inter­

national corporations or foreign PCO and DMC agencies that have managed to learn a lot about Ser­ bia and certainly leave the country after several days with the most favorable impressions.

This is the result of cooperation bet­ween all stakeholders in the meetings industry.

What results can we expect from these activities in the future?

From the total number of in­itiated candidacies, 18 have been succes­ sfully completed, 2 are now lost, but we continue the process, and we are expecting results for the remaining 20 in the forth­coming period. This is very important for Serbian tourism, because we went into a process of proactive sales that will bring destinations in Serbia tens of millions of euros in earnings. This is also important for Serbian economy, educational system, research centers, institu­ tes... because they will have the op­portunity to present the results of their work to foreign colleagues and potential customers in their own country. This way, the effect of the international congress taking place in Serbia is being multiplied.

Site inspections show great results, because on site and in direct con­ versation with the client, we have the possibility to point out the ad­vantages of Serbia as congress destination, and to respond to the challenges posed by potential clients. Clients can familiarize themselves with the actual level of service as well as to objectively experience and feel Serbia.

Already in the first couple of mon­ ths in 2017, several large corporate groups will visit Serbia on the basis of well-organized and coordinated destination inspections.

Which elements of the destination are international clients sa­ tisfied with, and which elements they complain about?

World Congress on Solid Waste Management - ISWA 2016, Novi Sad

Today, Serbia offers the quality of a world-class congress destination.

We have great hotels with substan­ tial conference capacities that consistently invest in improving the quality of their services, we have excellent airline connections, and cultural and historical monuments for event organization.

A very important asset of Serbia is the overall experience, the fe­eling that clients can have in Serbia.

In the era of modern living, the con­c­ept of staying in non-urban en­vironments, combination of tra­­dition and culture, local and or­ganic food, surrounded by good hosts, is surely something that can differentiate a des­tination.

Things they complain about, or bet­­ter say, aspects in which there is room for improvement, relate primarily to the improvement of general infrastructure in order to ease destination accessibility.

And finally, the impression and ex­perience that clients acquire in Serbia are the most important references for future clients and congresses. In 2016, we hosted about 70 international congresses of associations.

Congresses such as the World Con­ gress of Byzantine Studies (1,500 delegates) and the World Congress on of the International Solid Waste Association (1,400 delegates) have proved that Serbia can meet even the most comprehensive require­ ments of organizers and delegates from all around the world.

Words of praise refer to professi­o­ nal or­ga­nization, exceptional exper­ tise of local hosts, attentiveness of the staff, welcoming atmosphere at every turn, while our museums, monasteries, wineries and farms have created great experiences that are still recounted.

Šta utiče na formiranje utiska?

Budite osoba koju želite da upoznate

Kada govorimo o formiranju utiska, generalno, treba se zapitati na čemu se on za­pra­vo zasniva? Da li se radi o tome da prvo primećujemo neku ili nečiju spe­ cifi­č­nost? Ili se najviše pažnje posveti fizičkom obliku onoga što opažamo?

Treba na­pomenuti da vreme takođe igra ključnu ulogu – svi znamo za feno­ men „pr­vog utis­ka“ i pitanje možemo li ga kasnije ispraviti ili on ostaje nepro­ me­njen?

Sa naučne strane, stvari stoje ovako: prvi utisak se teško menja. Razlog je jednostavan – to zahteva napor.

Ljudi u najvećem broju slučajeva nemaju vremena da ponovo anali­ ziraju, razmišljaju, tumače vas ili si­tuaciju u kojoj su se našli, a na os­novu koje je formiran prvi utisak.

To osiguravamo tako što će se ose­ ćati dobrodošlo, ali pre svega, mora­ ju imati utisak da su anga­žovani i zabavljeni istovremeno.

Zato su panelisti ključni u ovom se­ gmentu događaja, te ih treba birati pažljivo. Ne samo prema s­tručnim referencama već i socijalnoj inteli­ genciji i tipu ostalih učesnika, tj. pu­blike.

Iako ste možda „samo“ zaduženi za organizaciju, trebalo bi da prođete kroz prezentacije govornika i pane­ lista. Uprkos iskustvu i stručnosti, vrlo lako se može dogoditi da su delovi prezentacija suvoparni, čak dosadni.

Ne bi bilo loše tada sugerisati neki drugi ugao posmatranja stvari ili

predložiti neka vizuelna pomagala koja mogu „osvežiti“ temu.

Dalje treba učiniti da se publika oseća pozvanom na razmenu mišljenja. Ključ je zapravo u tome da se učesnici što pre uključe u razgovor jer se tako smanjuje ose­ ćaj neprijatnosti i nervoze u delu kada se od njih očekuje da budu interaktivni. Pre toga, možete istra­ žiti najaktuelnije događaje, primere ili ispričati anegdotu koje se tiču teme, kako bi opustili atmosferu sa ciljem da se interakcija što pre ostvari.

Pauze treba organizovati na mini­ mum dva sata, bez obzira na to koliko je tema interesantna i svi učesnici aktivni u diskusiji.

Na hiljade učesnika dugo se spre­ ma za svoju pevačku ili koreograf­ sku tačku dok sportisti svih zemalja ponosno defiluju i mašu nacional­ nim zastavama svoje reprezenta­ cije. Priznaćete da je to specijalan emotivan trenutak i spektakl.

Svi se sećamo ove ceremonije na Zimskim olimpijskim igrama u Sočiju 2014. godine.

Ali utisak gledalaca bio je mlak.

A evo izbog čega: pri paljenju i os­vet­ljavanju simbola Olimpijskih igara – Olimpijski krugovi, jedan od njih se nije osvetlio.

Loša bezbednosna procena na događaju U avgustu 2013. godine korejska kompanija LG odlučila je da u svrhu promocije svog novog smart tele­ fona pusti 100 helijumskih balona u vazduh, a svaki od njih je u sebi imao vaučer za kupovinu istog.

What Affects the Creation of an Impression?

When we talk about making an impression, in general, we should ask what it is actually based on? Do we first notice some or someone’s specific? Or the most attention is given to a physical form of what we see? It should be noted that the time also plays a key role - we are all very familiar with a phenomenon of “first impression” and the question on whether we can correct it later on or it remains unchanged?

Scientifically, it’s like this: first impression is hard to change.

The reason is simple - it requires an effort.

People in most cases do not have time to re-analyze, re-think, reinterpret you or the situation in which they find themselves, on the basis of which the first impression was formed.

According to the holistic view, the formation of a notion or impres­ sion, is a dynamic process that involves a multitude of information sources that we have availa­ble at any particular moment.

It only takes a tenth of a second for making our first impression of someone based solely on his face features. This is the time we need

Kako ostaviti dobar utisak na događaju?

Kada organizujemo neki događaj, ono što svakako želimo, jeste da ostavimo do­bar utisak na učesnike. Želimo da probudimo interesovanje, zadivimo ili iz­ nenadimo, da izazovemo emocije. Kako to da učinimo? Pre svega, šta je ono što najviše utiče na ostavljanje dobrog utiska kada prisustvujemo događaju? Šta se najviše ceni? Ovo pitanje postavili smo profesionalcima iz event industrije regiona. Evo šta su nam odgovorili.

Pre svega, ostavljanje dobrog utiska o nekom događaju zavisi od mnogo faktora, na neke može da se utiče, na neke ne. Ne može, recimo, da se utiče mnogo na raspoloženje koje su učesnici poneli sa sobom ili kako se osećaju. Ako je neko krenuo na do­ gađaj neraspoložen, iznerviran ili ga je bolela glava, velika je verovatnoća da događaj neće ostaviti fenome­ nalan utisak. Ako je pak krenuo na događaj dobro raspoložen, čuvši radosnu vest ili zadovoljan nekim uspehom, čitav događaj će verovat­ no posmatrati drugim očima.

Ono kako se osećamo, bez dileme, utiče na to kakve informacije uopšte primamo do mozga, a zatim i kako ih percipiramo. Verujem da bar po­lo­vina učesnika nekog događaja

Različiti su kriterijumi ostavljanja utiska za korporativne događaje, semina­re i konferencije ili tim bil­dinge. Zato smo tako i podelili pitanja koja smo postavili profesio­ nalcima iz event industrije regiona.

Kako ostaviti dobar utisak na... korporativnom događaju?

Event profesionalci se slažu da ka­da prisustvuju nekom korpora­ tivnom događaju ljubazni domaćini i njihovo obraćanje kao i ljubazno osoblje imaju najviše uticaja na os­ tavljanje utiska. Ovo je vrlo zanim­

ljiva konstatacija. Ona ukazuje da, ono što najviše utiče, jeste za­pravo socijalnog karaktera i zavisi, vrlo jednostavno, od ljubaznog i prijat­ nog ponašanja! Nije teško biti fin, samo to često zaboravljamo.

Ovim kriterijumima treba dodati i ukupnu atmosferu na događaju, koja, prema mišljenju ispitanika, veoma utiče na ukupan utisak.

Muzika je sledeća po važnosti, zatim dizajn događaja i brending, sam prostor u kome se d­ogađaj odigrava, kao i hrana i piće.

Zatim, naravno, ceni se korišćenje napredne tehnologije na događaju, ali ne treba zaboraviti ni lokaciju događaja, kao ni organizovanje dodatnih zabavnih aktivnosti.

Od ponuđenih kriterijuma, može­ mo reći da poklon kesa najmanje utiče na ostavljanje opšteg utiska.

U nastavku dajemo grafički prikaz kriterijuma koje su event profesio­ nalci označili od najmanje važnog do onih koji najviše utiču na ostav­ ljanje utiska na korporativnom do­ gađaju. Ovim kriterijumima, event profesionalci su dodali i važnost praćenja satnice događaja, sa čim se apsolutno slažemo.

Ostavite dobar utisak na... konferenciji, kongresu, seminaru Kada govorimo o događajima in­ formativno-edukativnog karaktera, tačnije konferencijama, kongresi­ ma, seminarima i slično, teme o kojima se na njima govori ostavljaju ubedljivo najveći utisak, a njih u stopu prate sadržaj i način predavanja, kao i govornici i predavači.

U ovom slučaju ljubazni i srdačni domaćini su i dalje značajni, ali ne u toj meri kao kod korporativnih događaja.

Ljubazno osoblje igra ovde nešto važniju ulogu od domaćina.

Možemo reći da su kafe pauza i hrana ocenjeni kao najmanje bitni za celokupni utisak.

Korišćenje napredne tehnologije i reputacija samog događaja, su sledeći po važnosti, i imaju takođe visoku ocenu.

Iako u proseku, značaj prostora ima visoke ocene, ima manji značaj nego kod korporativnih događaja.

Lokacija, na osnovu odgovora, je još manje bitna nego u prvom slučaju.

Kako ostaviti dobar utisak kada organizujete... tim bilding?

Kada organizujete tim bilding, fo­ kus, vrlo logično, treba da bude na konkretnom tim bilding programu, i u tome se svi ispitanici slažu.

Tim bilding program je taj koji ostavlja najveći utisak. Zanimljivo je, da je sledeće po važnosti, sa visokim ocenama, jasna i preciz­na organizacija – ko, kada, gde, zašto.

To sve zajedno doprinosi ukupnoj atmosferi, koja je sledeća po važnosti, zajedno sa društvenim aktivnostima.

Učesnici cene prvenstveno dobar tim bilding program, ali isto tako vole da, dok se zabavljaju, druže i opuštaju, ne moraju da razmišljaju ni o čemu više, tačnije da im je sve jasno, lepo organizovano i objaš­

njeno. A sve ono što iskrsne tokom događaja, dobar organizator rešava u pozadini, tako da učesnici to ne primete.

Zanimljivo je takođe, što dodatni sadržaji hotela uopšte ne igraju toliko značajnu ulogu koliko se možda smatra.

Naime, oni se nalaze pri samom dnu lestvice, a ispod ovog kriteri­ juma nalaze se samo hrana i piće, koji, sudeći po rezultatima istraži­ vanja, igraju najmanje važnu ulogu prilikom organizacije tim bildinga.

Takođe, lokacija se postavila bitnija od samog hotela.

Hrana i kafe pauza se pokazala da ima najmanje uticaja prilikom organizacije kongresa, konferencija i seminara, na koje ljudi dolaze prvenstveno zbog tema, govornika i načina predavanja.

A najviše uticaja, iako ni tu nije u prioritetima, hrana i piće ima na korporativnim događajima.

Ukupna atmosfera se pokazala da ima važan uticaj na sve vrste doga­ đaja, najviše na korporativnim, a najmanje na edukativnim.

Korišćenje napredne tehnologije najviše se očekuje na kongresima

i seminarima (što je i logično, ako uzmemo u obzir njihov edukativnoinformativni karakter), zatim na korporativnim događajima, a naj­ manje na tim bilding aktivnostima, iako nisu zabeležene velike razlike u značaju.

Takođe, više se očekuje na polju dizajna i brendinga događaja na korporativnim, nego na edukativ­ no-informativnim događajima.

How to Make a Good Impression at Event?

When organizing an event, what we would certainly like is to make a good im­ pression on the participants. We want to awaken interest, impress or surprise, to provoke emotions. How to achieve that? First of all, which factor most af­ fects making a good impression when we attend the event? What is most ap­ preciated? This was the question we asked professionals in the event industry in the region. There answers are presented below.

First of all, making a good impres­ sion of an event depends on many factors, some of those changeable, some of those not. One cannot, for example, influence a lot the mo­od that the participants took with them­selves or how they feel.

If someone went to the event in a bad mood, irritated or with a he­ad­ ache, it is likely that the event will not make a fantastic impression.

If someone went to the event in a good mood, just heard the good news, or is happy because of some success, the entire event will pro­ bab­ly be experienced in a different way.

The way we feel, at no doubt, af­fe­ cts the way we receive informa­tion, and the way we perceive those.

I believe that at least half of the par­

tici­pants of an event do not no­tice all the positive details de­dicated to them.

I am thinking, for example, of perso­ nalized seats or pe­rsonalized mes­ sages, guidance, their treatment, design details and some additional activities designed and tailored just for them and the like.

On the other hand, I know that at least half of the participants at the event can be very strict if they notice at least one thing, a really lit­tle thing, that at a given moment is not at their will, or indeed is not proper, which may mark all his (her) perception of the event.

That will make everything else that is good fall into the water.

The point is that it is not easy at all to thrill attendees and get a high

score for the organization of the ev­ent. However, there are certain things that undoubtedly affect the good impression at the event, and those especially need to be paid at­tention to during the organizati­on thereof.

Criteria for making an impression are different for corporate events, seminars and conferences or team building. That is why we thus di­vi­ ded the questions we asked to the profes­sionals from the event indu­ stry in the region.

How to make a good impression on... a corporate event?

Event professionals agree that, when you attend a corporate

event, kind hosts and their speech as well as friendly staff have the most impact on making an impres­ sion. This is a very interesting as­cer­tainment. It indicates that the fac­tor with the greatest influence is actu­ally of a social character and de­pends, very simply, on the friendly and welcoming attitude!

It is not hard to be nice, but it is often forgotten.

These criteria should be added the overall atmosphere of the event, which, according to the respon­ dents’ opinion, greatly affects the overall impression.

Music is the next important issue, followed by event design and bran­ding, the venue itself in which the event takes place, as well as food and beverages. Afterwards, of course, it is rated the use of advanced technology at the event, but nor the location of the event should be forgotten, neither the organizing of the supplemental entertainment activities.

Out of the offered criteria, we can say that the gift bag at least affects the impression making.

Chart on page 39 represents cri­te­ ria highlighted by the event pro­fes­ sionals from the least im­portant ones to those which have the gre­­a­t­est influence on making an imp­res­sion at the corporate event.

To these criteria, event profession­ als added the importance of fol­ low-up of the event schedule, with what we absolutely agree.

Make a good impression on... the conference, congress, seminar When we talk about the informa­ tive-educational events, namely con­ferences, congresses, seminars and the like, the topics that were elaborated there make the utmost impression, and those are closely followed by the content and mode of delivery, as well as the speakers and lecturers. In this case, kind and friendly hosts are still important, but not as much as for the corpo­

rate events. The kind staff plays here somewhat more important role than the hosts.

We can say that the coffee break and food were ranked as least important for the overall impression.

Use of advanced technology and reputation of the event, are the ne­xt most important, and also have a high score. Although on average level, the importance of venue has high ratings, has less im­portance than for the corpora­te events.

The location, on the basis of the answers, is much less important than in the first case. As for the im­pact of the moderator and event design, it seems that the opinion on their significance greatly differ.

How to make a good impression when organizing... team building?

When organizing team building, the focus, quite logically, should be on the specific team building program, agreed on by all the par­ ticipants.

Team building program is the one that makes the greatest impres­ sion. It is interesting that, the fol­ lowing one in order of im­portance, with high marks, is a clear and pre­cise organization – who, when, where, why.

All this contributes to the o­verall atmosphere, which is next in impor­ tance, along with social activities.

Participants appreciate primarily a good team building program,

but also like to, while having fun, socialize and relax, and not to have to think about anything more, na­ mely, that everything is clear and nicely organized and explained.

On the other hand, everything th­at comes up during the event, a go­od organizer should solve in the back­ ground, so that participants do not notice it.

It is Interesting, also, that additio­ nal facilities of the hotel do not play such an important role as far as those may be considered.

In fact, those are at the very bot­ tom of the scale, and under this criteria fall just food and beverage, which, judging by the results of the survey, play at least important role in the organization of team bu­ilding. Also, the location was set as more important than the hotel itself.

Food and coffee breaks are shown to have the least influence on the organization of congresses, con­ ferences and seminars, in which people come primarily for topics, speakers and manner of lecturing.

But we may notice that food and

beverage have a maximum impact (though not as priorities) on cor­ porate events.

The overall atmosphere seems to have an important impact on all kinds of events, at most to the corporative, and at least to edu­ cational ones.

Using the most advanced technology is expected for conferences and seminars (which is logical, if we take into account their educa­ tional and informative character), then at corporate events, but at least the team building activities, although those are that much dif­ ferent in character.

Also, there are greater expectati­ ons in the field of event design and branding in the corporate, than in the educational and infor­ mational events. Look at chart on page 41 for more info.

Whatever type of event you orga­ nize, we have left a graphic impor­ tan­ce and influence of each of the criteria, so that you can make “fine-tune” in accordance with the target group and the specific objectives of the event.

Prošle godine DT je stajao iza im­presivnog događaja, koji je, slo­bodno možemo reći, obeležio event sezonu u Dubrovniku, za Mercedes na kome je prisustvo­ valo čak 12.000 delegata. Koji je bio najveći izazov ovog događaja?

To je bio najveći i najzahtijevniji ko­mercijalni korporativni event u regiji ikad, tj. interni događaj re­nominiranog auto proizvođača Mercedes Benz, za oko 12.000 pro­

davača Mercedes vozila iz cijelog svijeta, na području Dubrovnika.

Delegati su bili smješteni u dubro­ vačkim hotelima i tamo su radili te­oretski dio obuke, dok se većina programa odvijala na cestama i na području Grada Dubrovnika te Luke Dubrovnik.

Za Dubrovnik Travel – DT CROATIA nije bilo neki posebnih prepreka jer smo iskusni kao lokalni DMC u izvršavanju tih događaja i kako smo već radili za Suzuki, KIA, Hyundai, Škoda, BMW, Mini, Volvo, Harley Davidson, itd. Naravno neke situ­ acije su bile isto malo zahtijevnije kao na primer izložba Mercedes vozila u Starom Gradu Du­brovnik, pretvaranje luke Gruž u work shop

centar i dio luke za Test Drive Experience. Sea Star, event brod, u vlasništvu DT-a je bio također ko­riš­ten za večernje aktivnosti po zimskim uvjetima na moru.

Cijeli projekt je trajao dva mjeseca, dva duga zimska mjeseca, pa smo imali i malo lošije vrijeme ponekad te se program na dnevnoj bazi ma­ lo prilagođavao. Naravno, bez iskus­ nih DT menadžera ovaj projekat ne bi bio uspiješan.

Last year, DT organized an im­p­ res­sive event that, we can say, marked the event season in Du­ bro­vnik.

It was for Mercedes, attended by as many as 12,000 delegates.

What was the greatest challenge of this event?

It was the greatest and most de­ man­ding commercial co­rporate event in the region ever, i.e. i­n­ter­ nal ev­ent for renowned automo­bile

Delegates were accommodated in hotels in Dubrovnik, and there they were performing the theoretical part of the training, while the major part of the program took place on the roads and in the area of the City of Dubrovnik and Dubrovnik port.

Dubrovnik Travel - DT CROATIA had no particular special obstacles be­ cause we have experience as local DMC in organizing such events, as we have already organized this type of event for Suzuki, KIA, Hyundai,

Skoda, BMW, Mini, Volvo, Harley Davidson, etc. Of course, some situations were a bit more dem­ anding, such as the exhibition of Mercedes vehicles in the Old City of Dubrovnik, the transformation of the port of Gruz in a work shop centre and part of the port for the Test Drive Experience.

The whole project lasted for two months, two long winter months, so sometimes we had a bit of a bad weather, and the pro­gram was adjusted a little on a daily basis.

What projects you are currently working on?

Currently, a small part of DT-team is engaged on a project for Nissan, but major part of the team works on the preparation of all incentive and meeting projects for 2017 and beyond.

Nissan presents its new model Nis­san Micra in Dubrovnik, the pro­ gram also takes two months, we expect about 7,000 delegates, and, for this occasion, Dubrovnik was visited by the worldwide known automotive journalists together with distributors of Nissan Micra.

We are establishing higher-quali­ ty standard of working between employees and offices of DT sys­ tem, much better connected with contemporary technology.

Our offices in Dubrovnik, Split, Za­g­ reb, Portoroz and Ljubljana, as well as our sister company Talas-M from Budva and Talas-S from Belgrade will soon have a unique modern system of implementation of all the services that we offer and it will be standardized in the region.

With this, we will offer to our sa­ tis­fied and future clients an even greater range of services in a more efficient manner, and ensure oursel­ ves the continued leading position in the region.

Given the prominent events, is the automotive industry the one in which you are engaged the most? Which industries and countries are your clients primarily from?

In our business, the automotive industry has the smallest part.

Our company is for many years a recognized leader in the region for international corporate events and meetings, and, as such, it continu­ es to manage the best and most demanding incentive and meeting projects in leading destinations in which we have our offices and our teams consisted of local experts and providing full service in terms of possibilities for all of our inter­ national customers.

We usually work with Europe and the United States, and other emerging economies of the world, from diverse industries; pharma­ cology, finance, manufacturing, consulting, software, etc.

SEEbtm Awards 2016

Priznanja za najbolje u kongresnom turizmu SEEbtm Awards predstavljaju priznanja koja su po prvi put, u organizaciji por­ ta­la Kongresniturizam.com i SEEbtm magazina, dodeljena najboljim i najis­ ta­­k­­nutijim hotelima i prostorima u regionu, u kongresnoj industriji za 2016. go­dinu. Poseban značaj i vrednost ovih nagrada predstavlja činjenica da su na­g­ra­de dobijene na os­novu glasova onih koji su direktni kupci u kongresnom tu­riz­mu – na osnovu glaso­­va organizatora događaja. Njihovo mišljenje i glas je u prak­si naj­realniji i, kad se podvuče crta bez obzira na sve ostale kriterijume, ima najviše uticaja.

Za preostalih 13 katego­rija, krite­ rijumi su bili lokacija, kapa­citeti i

jedinstvenost usluge ili pak sadržaji kojima objekti raspolažu. Katego­ rije nisu bile ograničene bro­jem no­ minovanih, ali se jedan hotel/pro­ stor mogao takmičiti u maksimalno četiri kategorije.

Da su rezultati glasanja bili neizve­ sni sve do samog zatvaranja, govori i činjenica da je kategorija Najbolji gradski hotel sa kongresnim cent­ rom (Best City Hotel with Conferen­ ce Center) imala dva pobednika.

A da je glasanje bilo nezavisno, go­vori činjenica da je bilo dobit­ nika nagrada koji su se eksterno kandidovali, van sistema portala Kongresniturizam.com, koji je bio osnova za nominovane. „Posle bogatog decenijskog iskust­ va u kongresnoj industriji, odlučili smo da pokrenemo SEEbtm Awards kao priznanja za najbolje u našem poslu. SEEbtm Awards je rezultat profesionalizma, iskustva i znanja

SEEbtm Awards 2016

Awards for the Best in Meetings Industry SEEbtm Awards represent the recognition that were for the first time, in the or­ ga­nization of the portal Kongresniturizam.com and SEEbtm magazine, awar­­ ded to the best and most prominent hotels and facilities in the region, in the me­etings industry for 2016. Special importance and value of these awards is the fact that the awards were given based of votes of those who were direct buyers within the meetings industry, i.e. on the basis of votes of the event plan­ ners. Their opinion and vote are practically the most realistic at the very end, regardless of all other criteria, and make the most impact.

The Awards ceremony was held on SEEbtm Party, on 18th November in the restaurant Kalemegdanska terasa in Belgrade.

This traditional gathering was at­ten­ ded by 250 most important repre­ sentatives of the congress hotels, hotels and venues with conferen­ce facilities, service providers in the field of event organization and re­presentatives of companies that organize events in the region.

The awards were given in 22 cate­ gories, and, during the month of voting, from 17th October to 17th November the votes were given by more than 6,500 voters.

This award is even more preferred as it is a newly established recognition in the regional framework. It is highly important ­ for us this symbolic round of awards for this year. It began in Slovenia with a Certificate of Excellence to the Hotel Splendid which is ranked in the top 10 MICE hotels in the South East Europe, and was closed, at least as far as the MICE segment is concerned, in Belgrade after receiving this award.

Stoga smo se dalje fokusirali na brending prostora i zabavne aktiv­ nosti koje uključuju prisutne.

Pri tome smo strogo vodili računa da svi elementi komuniciraju ono što mi kao kompanija i tim jesmo i želimo da promovišemo – inovativni, moderni, kreati­vni, urbani, profesionalni.

Bilo je puno „custom-made” de­ ta­lja, ne slučajno, već opet, da ista­k­ nemo naš individualan pristup koji imamo prema svakom klijentu.

Počev od zida za slikanje, hteli smo da izbegnemo klasičnu štampu ci­rade na postolju, već toliko puta viđene slične backdrop-ove, i ove godine napravimo nešto autentič­ no, a što oslikava pomenuti duh i pristup. Zato smo napravili zid od paleta, koji smo ukrasili našim brendovima, motivacionim poru­

S obzirom na to da su, kako sam već istakla, gosti bili event profe­ sionalci iz regiona, hteli smo da

napravimo unikatne poklone, prilagođene profesiji, sa šaljivom konotacijom. Zato smo napravili poklon teglice, koje su vizuelno podsećale na domaću zimnicu, što je tih dana svakako bilo aktuelno.

Naime, teglica je nosila natpis „Survival kit for event planners”, iliti Prva pomoć za preživljavanje organizatora događaja, aludirajući time na stresan posao kojim se bave. Inače, bez šale, posao event planera spada u 5 najstresnijih po­slova u 2016 (prema istraživanju sajta CareerCast), posle vojske, vatrogasaca, pilota i policajaca.

Ručno pravljen i originalno osmi­ šljen poklon uspeo je da ostavi utisak na goste, primetili su da se obraćamo direktno njima, da ih razumemo i nudimo rešenje, ali i da ih nasmeje.

Prilikom odlaska, postavili smo pla­ tno koje je bilo izbrendirano našim logotipom i snažnom porukom „We believed we could so we did – 10 years”, i ostavljenim prostorom da se gosti potpišu, simbolizujući da su svi oni deo našeg uspeha, i da je to zapravo, zajednički uspeh i dostignuće.

Na ovaj način smo završili svoje­ vrsno „putovanje” gostiju tokom SEEbtm događaja, koje je čitavo veče bilo upotpunjeno vrhunskim bendom i muzikom uživo, bogatim i raznovrsnim posluženjem, a pre svega odličnim druženjem ljudi iz ove profesije.

Takođe, posebno smo ponosni i srećni, što smo tokom večeri

us­pešno organizovali i akciju hu­ma­­nitarnog karaktera, tačnije prikup­ljanja novčanih sredstava za NURDOR – Nacionalno udruženje roditelja dece obolelih od raka, u vidu simboli­čne „ulaznice” za do­ gađaj. „Budi ono što želiš da vidiš kod drugih” bio je naš moto, a mi se nadamo da ćemo u budućnosti biti svedoci sve većeg broja korpo­ rativnih događaja koji će imati neki humanitarni karakter.

Tačnije, već znamo da je ovaj naš gest bio inspiracija u tom smislu, za neke događaje koji su se u među­ vremenu održali, što za nas ima posebnu vrednost. Iako potreba za vođenjem računa o detaljima važi

za učesnike svakog događaja, kada su vam ciljna grupa baš ljudi koji se bave organizacijom događaja, sken kroz koji prolazi sva­ka stavka vašeg događaja je ipak malo strožiji i drugačiji. Zamislite da treba da isfenirate frizera, da skuvate nešto profesionalnom ku­varu ili da im­presionirate svojom bradom hipstera. Priličan izazov, zar ne?

At the end of last year, in mid-November, 250 of the most important representatives of hotels and venues with conference capacities, service providers and representatives of companies that organize events in the region, attended the SEEbtm event, and, on that occasion, the celebration of 10 years of the portal Kongresniturizam.com, as well as the ceremony of awarding the SEEbtm Awards.

There were a lot of “custommade” details, not by chance, but again to emphasize an individual approach we have to each client.

Starting from the backdrop wall, we wanted to avoid the c­lassic press on a tarpaulin on the podi­ um, so frequently seen similar back­drops, and to do something authentic this year, which reflects the aforementioned spirit and ap­ proach. That is why we created a wall of pallets, which we de­corated with our brands, motivational mes­ sages, using a rope, glass, tongs, lamps, and thus got that kind of industrial design.

That was perfectly fitted in by a manner of photographing, where the guests, in addition to traditio­ nal photography, were photograp­

hed with an instant camera by a girl dressed in a T-shirt with a funny inscription: “Keep calm, be the best and win SEEbtm Awards”.

Instant photographs, ready-made on-site, branded with correspon­ ding hash-tags, were taken by the visitors as a souvenir.

Given that, as I have already poin­ ted out, the guests were the event professionals from the region, we wanted to create unique gifts, pro­ fession tailor-made, with humoro­ us connotation. Therefore, we have made gift jars, having resembled visually a domestic winter stor­ age, which was certainly topical in those days. Namely, a jar had a

inscription “Survival kit for event planners”, meaning the First aid for survival of the event organi­ zers, referring thus to a stressful job they do. Otherwise, an event planner’s job is one of the 5 most stressful jobs in 2016 (according to research site CareerCast), following the military, firefighters, pilots and police officers.

They could find in a jar a mag­ net designed as an emergency call to solve their problems by contact­ing the team of the portal Kongresnituri­zam.com, then a pi­ece of crackling foil to calm the “nerves”, motivational message, a few chocolate bars and coffee for

better concentration. Handma­de and originally d­esigned gift ma­na­ ged to impress the gu­es­ts, they no­ticed that we addres­sed them directly, that we understood them and offered a solution, and to make them laugh.

Upon departure, we set up a can­ vas branded with our logo and a strong message – “We believed we could so we did – 10 years”, and left space for our guests to put their signature, thus symbolizing that each of them was a part of our success, and that, in fact, it was a mutual success and achievement.

In this way, we end up sort of a gu­ ests’ “journey” during the SEEbtm event, which was complemented by a top band and live music during the entire evening, in addition to a rich and varied refreshments, and, above all, the excellent networking of people of the profession.

Also, we are very proud and happy that we successfully organized and humanitarian action during the ev­e­ning, to be more precisely the collection of funds for NURDOR – the National Association of Parents of Children with Cancer, in the form of a symbolic “tickets” for the event. “Be what you want to see

in others” was our motto, and we hope that in future we will witness a growing number of corporate events that will have a humanitari­ an character. We already know that this gesture was an inspiration, in this case, for some events that are held in the mean­time, which for us has a spe­cial value.

Although the need for taking care of every detail applies to participa­ nts of each event, when your tar­get group are exactly the people who are engaged in organization of ev­ents, the scanner through which

each item of your event is being put through is a little bit tougher and different.

Imagine that you have to hairsty­le a professional hairdresser, to cook for chef or to impress a hip­ster with your perfectly shaped be­ard.

Quite a challenge, is it not?

Therefore, we believe that the ul­ti­mate success is when with the organization of SEEbtm event, we manage to impress and leave a po­sitive impression right on event managers.

– Neraskidive komponente vizuelne komunikacije Dizajn je jedan od najmoćnijih oružja za kreiranje utiska. U današnje vre­ me verovatno i najdominantnije. Sa Slavimirom Stojanovićem, subjekti­ vna ću biti, našim najboljim dizajnerom, razgovarala sam na temu utiska i njegove povezanosti sa dizajnom.

Njegovi radovi deo su kolekcija muzeja Pompidur u Parizu, Muzeju pla­ka­ ta u Varšavi i Muzeju umetnosti i reklame u Hamburgu. Pročitajte kako on od svoje 16. godine ostavlja utisak na najbolje u svom poslu, ali i sve one koji­ma se njegov rad obraća.

Na osnovu Vašeg iskustva, šta je glavni zadatak dizajna?

Grafički dizajn ima zadatak da skre­ ne pažnju posmatrača na takav na­ čin da on poželi da se dublje upusti u komunikaciju.

Dobar grafički dizajn, pored ove pri­marne funkcije skretanja pažnje, uspostavlja dijalog, budi nadahnuće i estetski oplemenjuje ciljanog posmatrača.

Danas, sa jedne strane, imamo pre­ više primera agresivnog skretanja pažnje, često izrazito nasilnog i ne­ukusnog, koje se razliva po svim slojevima društva, kako po ciljnim grupama tako i po svim ostalima, a sa druge strane, imamo premalo suptilnog, inteligentnog i preciz­ nog komuniciranja, pa odatle ima­mo utisak vizuelne zagađenosti koja nas svakodnevno okružuje.

Međutim, kada je dizajn precizan, kada pogodi svoj cilj, on permanen­ tno ostaje sastavni deo iskustva i života.

Kako pronalazite i/ili objašnja­­ vate vezu između dizajna i utiska koji on ostavlja na posmatrača?

Za mene su to dve neraskidive komponente vizuelne komu­ni­ kacije.

Mislim da je nužno da dizajner ima goruću želju da komuni­ cira, mora da ga istinski za­nima kako se njegov di­ zajn percipira, prima i dalje emotivno i intelektualno obrađuje u svesti svakog ciljanog posmatrača.

Po Vašem mišljenju, koliko je va­žan dizajn i brending nekog do­gađaja?

Možda primer nekog događaja koji je na Vas ostavio jak utisak.

Događaji su integralni deo svakog brendinga i dizajn mora da bude u savršenom skladu sa ukupnom linijom komunikacije određenog brenda.

Oni su ujedno, zbog širine svoje vi­ zuelne, zvučne i taktilne plat­forme, savršena prilika za prikazivanje brenda u punom svetlu.

Na mene najjači utisak ostavljaju događaji koji su osmišljeni kao neka vrsta pozorišne predstave koja u sebe uvlači posmatrača, ulazi mu dublje u svest, ostavlja utisak nadahnuća i lične identifi­ kacije, a ostaje u podsvesti u na­j­ pozitivnijem mogućem smislu.

Osnovna razlika između di­zajna i umetnosti je u to­me što umetnost postavlja pitanja, a dizajn daje odgovore.

Da li dizajn treba da ostavlja utisak da svi razumeju ,,šta je pisac hteo da kaže’’?

Veoma je važno precizno definisati ciljnu publiku i koncentrisati se is­k­ lju­čivo na njihovu percepciju vašeg dizajna. Naravno, lepo je kad se okolnosti poklope tako da što širi sloj društva može tu komunikaciju da razume na pravi način i izvuče nešto pozitivno za sebe iz toga.

Osnovna razlika između dizajna i umetnosti je u tome što umetnost postavlja pitanja, a dizajn daje odgovore.

Kada radite, šta je ono čemu se najrađe okrećete: humoru, ironiji, sarkazmu…?

Moj omiljeni metod vizuelne komunikacije je satira začinjena minimalističkom estetikom.

Međutim, u svetlosti najnovijih dru­štvenih pomeranja na globalnoj sceni, oprobane metode suptilnog humornog komuniciranja nesla­ ganja sa određenim anomalijama savremenog društva, pokazuju se

kao pleonazam, ukoliko se složimo da je ironija dobila svoj prirodni ob­lik u vidu ljudi koji vode ovu planetu, države, gradove...

Dakle, bespredmetno je kreati­ vno komentarisati nešto što je očigledno.

Događaji su integralni deo svakog brendinga i dizajn mora da bude u savršenom skladu sa ukupnom linijom komunikacije određenog brenda.

Mislim da svu kreativnu energiju u narednom periodu treba usmeriti na promovisanje pravih vrednosti, koje u novim okolnostima postaju alternativne vrednosti.

To će biti izuzetno težak zadatak, jer nova realnost istovremeno raz­ montirava koliko satiričare, toliko i promotere ljubavi, plemenitosti, dobročinstva i brižnosti, ali od te borbe se ne sme nipošto odustati.

– Inseparable Components of Visual Communication Design is one of the most powerful means to create an impression. Nowa­ days, it is probably the most dominant one. I spoke with Slavimir Stojano­ vic, I will be subjective to say with our best designer, on the theme of per­ception and its connection with the design.

His works are part of the collections of Pompidou Museum in Paris, the Mu­se­um of Posters in Warsaw and the Museum of Art and Advertising in Ham­burg. Please, read how he, since he was 16 years old, makes an impres­ sion to the best in his work, but also to all those that his work addresses.

Based on your experience, what is the main task of design?

Graphic design has a task to draw the attention of a viewer in such a way that he wishes to engage in a deeper communication.

A good graphic design, in addition to this primary function of drawing attention, establishes a dialogue, awakes inspiration and aestheticly refines a target observer.

Nowadays, on one hand, we have too many examples of an aggres­ sive diversion of attention, often extremely violent and tacky, lavi­ shed on all levels of society, both on target groups and all the others, and, on the other hand, we lack the subtle, intelligent and precise communication, and, therefore, we get an impression of visual pollu­ tion that surrounds us every day.

However, when a design is precise, when it hits its target, it permanent­ ly remains an integral part of the experience and life.

How you find and/or explain the relationship between design and the impression it makes on the observer?

I take those as two inseparable components of visual communi­ cation.

This is a difficult and exhausting job when you take into account that the average person in the course of one day experiences over 10,000 visual sensations, and let yourself win your place so at to be remem­ bered under these conditions.

I think it necessary that the desi­ gner has a burning desire to com­ municate, he must be genuinely interested in how his design is perceived, received and further emotionally and intellectually pro­cessed in the consciousness of each targeted observer.

Only after such a desire, there are coming the talent and profession­ al skill of how, to whom and what to communicate so as to shake the stable vertical of conscious­ ness of the audience.

On a daily basis, graphic designers must come up with new, never be­ fore seen combinations of existing visual elements, metaphors and associations, because only new

In your opinion, how important is the design and branding of an event? Give us perhaps an example of an event that made a strong impression on you?

Events are an integral part of any branding, and design must be in perfect harmony with the overall line of communication of a certain brand. Those are also, because of the vastness of their visual, audi­ tory and tactile platform, a perfect opportunity to show the brand in a whole new light.

The strongest impression on me is made by the events that are de­signed as a kind of theatrical per­formance that draws into itself an observer, it enters more deeply into his consciousness, gives the impression of inspiration and per­ sonal identification, and remains in the subconscious in the most positive way possible.

The main difference between design and art is that art asks questions, and design provides answers.

Does a design should make an impression so that everyone un­derstands “what the author meant to say”?

Let na poslednji sprat šoping centra „Stadion”

„Zlatni auto” Beograda R edakcija magazina „Auto Bild” već treće godine tradicionalno orga­ nizuje dodeljivanje nagrada najpopu­ larnijim automobilima na tržištu Srbije pod nazivom „Zlatni auto”, prošle godine pod generalnim pokrovitelj­ stvom kompanije OMV. Mesto održavanja događaja bio je nov, kompletno opremljeni event prostor „Stadion Hall”, koji se nalazi u okviru šoping centra „Stadion” na Voždovcu.

Nakon skoro punih pet meseci od po­ četka prvog kruga glasanja, a u kom su se našla 44 modela koji su bili raspo­ ređeni u osam kategorija, proglašeni su pobednici u svakoj od njih, a model sa najviše glasova među nagrađenim automobilima ponosni je vlasnik titule „Zlatni auto” za 2016. godinu.

Stiglo je više od 22.000 glasova čitala­ ca, koji su glasali preko portala Blic i magazina „Auto Bild”.

Kada su se glasovi prebrojali, dobijeni su finalisti koji su ušli u drugi krug.

Glasovi su se zbrajali, te su se dobili i finalisti za 2016. godinu.

Za pobednika je proglašen model automobila Alfa Romeo Giulia!

Čitav događaj je, bukvalno i figurati­ vno, podignut na viši nivo, jednim in­teresantnim detaljem – pobednički automobil je kranom unešen u „Stadion Hall”!

S obzirom na to da se event prostor, kapaciteta 1.500 mesta, nalazi na poslednjem spratu TC Stadion, čime je svojim gostima osigurao odličan pogled noću, prva pomisao da se automobil uveze u salu ne deluje obećavajuće.

Međutim, ispostavilo se da rad sa kranom ovde nije nikakav problem, te je automobil – pobednik velikom dizalicom podignut sa zemlje i prenešen u dvoranu.

Događaj kom je prisutvovao veliki broj zvanica iz auto industrije Srbije, poslovnog sveta, ali i javnog života, dobio je samo pohvale u vezi sa rea­ lizacijom celokupnog događaja.

Redakcija magazina „Auto Bild” prire­ dila je još jedno nezaboravno veče u ko­jem su dodeljena priznanja za najpo­ pularnije automobile na tržištu Srbije.

Flight to the Top Floor of the Shopping Center “Stadion”

“Golden Car” of Belgrade F

or the third year, the editorial office of the magazine “Auto Bild”, traditio­nally organized the award cer­ emony for the most popular cars on the ma­r­ket of Serbia under the name “Zlatni auto” (“Golden Car”), last year under the general sponsorship of the company OMV. The place of the event organization was the new, fully equipped event ve­nue “Stadion Hall”, which is located in the shopping center “Stadion” in Vozdovac.

After nearly whole five months since the start of the first round of voting, having included 44 models classified in eight categories, the winners in ea­ch of those were announced, while a model with the greatest number of votes among the prizewinning cars was recognized as a proud holder of the title of “Golden Car” for 2016.

It was received more than 22,000 vo­tes of readers, who voted through the por­ tal Blic and the magazine “Auto Bild”.

The votes counting resulted in the names of finalists, who entered the second round. The votes were collect­ ed, and the finalists for 2016 were an­ nounced. The car model Alfa Romeo Giulia was proclaimed a winner!

The whole event was, literally and figuratively, raised to a higher level, with one interesting detail – the win­ ning car entered the “Stadion Hall” on a crane!

Given that the event venue, of the ca­ pacity of 1,500 seats, was located on the top floor of TC Stadion, and that the guests were ensured a great view during the night, the first thought of the car driven into the hall was not promising.

However, it turned out that the work with the crane there was not a prob­ lem, and thus the winning automobile was lifted with a large crane from the ground and transported into the hall.

The event, which was attended by a large number of guests from the Serbian car industry, business world, and the public life as well, received only praises for the realization of the entire event.

The editorial office of the magazine “Auto Bild” had prepared another unforgettable evening, during which the awards were granted for the most popular cars on the market of Serbia.

Uspeh je rezultat dobrog tima Tim bilding, kao niz jednostavnih, ali i kompleksnih aktivnosti podrazumeva os­ naživanje timova u, najčešće, grupnim procesima, koji imaju za cilj povećanje produktivnosti, saradnje, poboljšanje interpesonalnih odnosa u kompanijama i među saradnicima, podizanje motivacije, uspostavljanje međusobne solidar­ nosti, podrške i mnogo drugog. Veoma često, proces je osmišljen kroz tri se­g­ menta: zabava, relaksacija i edukacija. Kreiranje atmosfere poverenja i zaje­d­ni­ štva, ali i prilike da svak pruži najbolje od sebe, predstavlja važan element tim bil­ding aktivnosti.

U vreme naglašenog individuali­ zma, sasvim paradoksalno, sve jasnije stičemo uverenje da je uspeh – zapravo princip sistema, grupe, organizacije.

Još važniji segment je da se osećaj ličnih kompetencija, samopouzdanja, samoefikasnosti, samopoštovanja, bitno uvećava i onda ka­da smo deo tima koji pobeđuje, odnosno kada pobeda nije isklju­ čivo lična.

Saradljivost, kao jedna od najpo­ željnijih socijalnih osobina ličnosti, iako je dobrodošla, ne mora se na­ laziti u sklopu karakternih osobina i/ili ponašanja svake osobe.

Ona se može naučiti i izgraditi, kao što se i karakterne osobine mogu menjati. Posmatrano iz psihološkog ugla, postoje i one karakteristike ličnosti koje, bez obzira na uticaje,

neće pretrpeti (željenu) promenu.

Naš temperament je datost.

A ono što možemo da učinimo, kako bi kvalitet življenja, rada, sve­obuhvatne produktivnosti i pro­speriteta postao bolji je da oslušnemo, procenimo, ispratimo i podržimo kod svakoga ono što je zona njegovih kompetencija, ciljeva, motiva, ali i mogućnosti.

U tom smislu, kao osnov, odnosno prvi korak tim bilding principa pre­poručuje se Timska supervizija.

Ovaj termin podrazumeva proces koji obuhvata istraživanje resursa i potencijalnih kritičnih zona u timu i/ili procenjivanje načina i potenci­ jala za podizanje i individualnog i grupnog kvaliteta, uspostavljanje ciljeva i kontinuiran rad na njima (broj sastanaka određen je potre­ bama kompanije, poteškoćama ili –

ambicijama kompanije i samih za­po­slenih). Uvid u interpersonalne odnose, lične i timske kompetence, usloviće i smernice za određene treninge i tim bilding aktivnosti.

Jedan od značajnih aspekata, koji se često zapostavlja je, organizovati timove gde će svaki učesnik biti ona prava i čvrsta karika u lancu, koja ima stabilan odnos sa ostalim „karikama“, a u „lancu“ je usposta­ vljen sistem međusobnog uvaža­ vanja, kao i prihvatanja različitosti.

Taj proces se analizira, između ostalog, kroz sociogram.

Iz ugla psihologije, uspeh se u da­ na­šnjem vremenu meri posedovanjem „tri vruće inteligencije“, a to su: socijalna, emocionalna i praktična. Neko poseduje u svom karakteru jednu ili sve tri kao naglašene, ali se takođe sve one

mogu naučiti, uvežbati, dovesti do visokog nivoa funkcionalnosti.

Iako to pripada individualnom pro­cesu rada sa klijentima, postoje i grupni treninzi za uvećanje nave­ denih potencijala.

Ne treba gubiti iz vida da svako od nas ima dovoljno širok spektar po­te­ncijala za uspeh. Neko najviše postiže kao lider, neko kroz primar­ no individualno aktiviranje, dok je neko drugi najuspešniji kao član tima. Veoma je važno proceniti da su potencijali i funkcije usklađeni i tek onda ih osnaživati. Isto tako, motivacioni faktori se unutar sva­ kog čoveka mogu razlikovati, ali se i menjati u vremenu. Pored proce­ ne motiva, iskustvo pokazuje da svakoj kompaniji i svakom zaposle­ nom, Motivacioni trening poveća­ va produktivnost. Treninzi psihofizičke relaksacije, koji su na zapadu intenzivno prisutni, važna su mera u prevenciji sindroma izgaranja na poslu, poznatog kao burn-out.

Princip pripadnosti je odlika koja nas određuje i u psihološkom, psi­hosocijalnom, ali i u svakom drugom smislu. Pripadamo poro­ dici, potom raznim grupama koje su zona potrebe, interesovanja, ili tek zabave i radosti. Porodica u ko­ joj odrastamo, vrtić, škole, sportski klubovi, dodatni programi obrazo­ vanja, sve su to određene grupe u kojima individua funkcioniše kao individualac, ali paralelno i neod­ vojivo – i kao deo sistema. tim sa kojim delimo iste ili slične ciljeve i potrebe, ali i samo mesto na kom se nalazimo jer tre­nutno procenjujemo da je zona lič­nog / profesionalog / egzi­stencijalnog interesa upravo tu i tada domi­ nantna.

Treninzi komunikacije su u osnovi svake dobre saradnje. Iako je prin­ cip komuniciranja svima po­z­nat i, čini se da nema potrebe naglaša­ vati ga, skoro svakodnevno se su­srećemo sa nedostatkom veština komunikacije. Dok poslovanje i interpersonalni odnosi u r­adnom okruženju iole funkcionišu, uglav­ nom se ne postavlja pitanje kvali­ teta komunikacije. Ali, u času kada se pojavi profesionalna disfunk­ cionalnost, odnosno – bilo kakvi problemi u poslovanju, tokom procesa „reha­bilitacije“ se veoma često dođe do zaključka da timovi, odnosno odnosi i komunikaciju u timu/preduzeću nisu na zavidnom

nivou. Postoji više modela i nivoa treninga komunikacijskih veština od kojih su se kao najefikasniji pokazali: Asertivni trening, Trening prevazilaženja konflikata, tzv. Rad sa teškim ljudima; Trening za lidere i drugi.

Tim bilding, kao proces osnaživa­ nja, ima širok spektar mogućnosti delovanja. U zavisnosti od potreba i ciljeva same kompanije, najčešće se kreiraju specifični programi koji će obuhvatiti upravo one intere­ sne zone koje su procenjene kao kritične ili oslabljenih kapaciteta.

Nekada će aktivnosti biti zasnova­ ne samo sa jednim ciljem, na pr.: povećanje produktivnosti i sarad­ ljivosti na konkretnom projektu, a nekada će program biti osmišljen da kroz više principa učvrsti sve elemente koji doprinose uspehu i pojedinca i grupe.

Jer, tim je taj koji pobeđuje!

Success is a Result of a Good Team Team building, as a series of simple, but also a complex activities, involves em­p­ o­wering of teams in, usually, group processes. It aim at increasing productivity, collaboration, improving interpersonal relations between the companies and associates, increasing motivation, establishing mutual solidarity, support and much more. Very often, the process is designed in three segments: enter­tain­ ment, relaxation and education. Creating an atmosphere of trust and unity, but also a chance for everyone to give their best, is an important element of team building activity.

At the times of emphasized individualism, quite paradoxically, we more clearly gain a belief that a success is - in fact the principle of a system, group, organization.

More important segment is that the sense of personal competencies, self-confidence, self-efficacy, self-esteem significantly increase when we are part of a team that wins, i.e. when a winning is not only personal.

Ability to cooperate, as one of the most favourable social personality traits, although welcomed, does not have to be part of the charac­ ter traits and/or behavior of each person. It can be acquired and built, as the character traits can be changed. Taken into considera­ tion from a psychological point of view, there are those pe­rsonality traits that, regardless of the impacts

will not suffer a (desired) change.

Our temperament is a given one.

What we can do to make the qua­ lity of life, work, entire productiv­ ity and prosperity become better is to listen, evaluate, follow and sup­port at everyone those that rep­resent his competencies, go­a­ls, motives, and opportunities.

In this respect, Team supervision shall be recommended as a basis, i.e. the first step of a team building principle. This term comprises a process that includes a research resources and potential critical zones in the team and/or evalua­ tion of a mode and potential for raising both individual and group quality, establishing the goals and continuous work thereon (the num­ ber of meetings is determined by the needs of a company, the com­

pany’s difficulties and ambitions of the employees themselves).

Insight into interpersonal relation­ ships, personal and team skills, shall be conditioned by the guide­ lines for specific trainings and te­am building activities. One of the important aspects, which is often neglected, is organizing the teams in which each participant will be the right and strong link in the chain that has a stable relationship with the other “links”, while the “chain” will have an established system of mutual respect and acceptance of differences therein.

This process shall be analysed, in­ ter alia, through a sociogram.

From the perspective of psycho­lo­ gy, success nowadays is usually me­asured through a possession of “three hot intelligences”, namely: social, emotional and practical.

Someone holds in his character one or all three of those as highli­ ghted, but, also, all of those can be learned, trained, brought to high level of functionality.

Although it belongs to an individu­ al process of working with clients, there are also group trainings to improve mentioned potentials.

It should not be overseen that ea­ch of us has a sufficiently wide range of potentials for a success.

Someone accomplishes the most as a leader, someone through a primary individual activation, while someone else is the most successful as a team member.

It is important to assess that the potentials and functions are com­ pliant and then empower those.

Similarly, the motivational factors within each man may vary, but also change over time. In addition to the assessment of motives, expe­ rience shows that every company and every employee, get their pro­ductivity increased through a Motivational training. The train­ ings of psychological and physical relaxation, which are extensively present in the West, represent an important measure in prevention of burn-out syndrome.

But, at the moment when a professional dysfunction occur, or any prob­ lems in business performance, the pro­cess of “rehabilitation” very often results in a conclusion that the te­ams, i.e. the relations and communi­cation in the team/com­ pany is not on a high level.

There are several models and levels of training of communication skills, out of which the most effec­ tive are proven to be the following: Assertive training, Conflict Overco­ ming Training, so-called Working with difficult people; Leaders Coac­ hing and other.

Team building as a process of em­po­werment, has a wide range of acti­vities. Depending on the needs and goals of the company, there are most often created the specific programs that will address precisely those zones of interest that are assessed as critical or with deteriorated capacities.

Sometimes the activities will be designed with only one purpose, such as: increase in pro­ductivity and ability to cooperate on a spe­cific project, and sometimes the program will be designed to strengthen, through several princi­ ples, all the elements that contri­ bute to the success of both the individual and the group.

Davos – Domaćin Svetskog ekonomskog foruma već 40 godina

Događaji na visini u svakom smislu

Početkom godine, sve oči sveta bile su uprte u Davos, šarmantni gradić u Švajcarskim Alpima.

Razlog tome nije skijanje s obzirom na to da se radi o popularnom ski centru, najvećem u Švajcarskoj, već činjenica da su se tamo okupili svetski lideri i najuticajnije ličnosti iz svih oblasti koji imaju globalni uticaj na svetsku politiku i ekonomiju. Kaže se da se tamo kuju strateški planovi za budućnost koji imaju uticaja na ceo svet, ali mi ćemo ovom prilikom razmatrati kako ovaj mali grad organizuje jedan od najbitnijih događaja na svetu.

Odgovor na gore pomenuto pita­ nje, nalazimo u najbitnijim stavka­ ma, a to su infrastruktura i tradi­cija dobre prakse.

Svakako, lobiranje i odgovarajuća geo-politička pozicija se podra­ zumevaju, kao i činjenica da je sedište ove organizacije takođe u Švajcarskoj, u Ženevi.

Zauzima površinu od 12.000 m², sastoji se od tri nezavisne sale za sastanke, plenarne sale koja je predviđena za više od 1.800 dele­ gata i dodatne 34 sale za sastanke.

I do 7.000 delegata može da isko­ risti ovu savršenu infrastrukturu za održavanje sastanaka.

Uz ovako velike kongresne kapaci­ tete, neophodno je imati dovoljno smeštajnih jedinica.

Davos 2017 u ciframa · 3.000 učesnika · 1.200 glavnih rukovodilaca ili direktora kompanija · 50 svetskih lidera Davos-Klosters nudi preko 90 hote­ la, kao i apartmane, privatne sobe, pa čak i seoske kuće.

Na ovom primeru se može videti koliko je važna saradnja svih dobav­ ljača u kongresnoj industriji.

Pored toga što je Davos moderni kongresni centar sa jedinstvenom ponudom smeštaja, do njega je ve­oma lako doći, bilo putem ili že­ leznicom, a nalazi se na samo dva sata od međunarodnog aerodroma Cirih, najbližeg većeg međunarod­ nog aerodroma.

vos, što je generalno praksa tokom odr­žavanja Svetskog ekonoms­kog foruma. Što se tiče bezbednosti, Švajcarska angažuje 4.500 pripadnika vojske i policije za potrebe obezbeđivanja Svetskog ekonomskog foruma.

Bezbednosne mere obuhvataju i dva raketna sistema zemlja-vazduh.

Takođe, oko 100 učesnika je bilo pokriveno posebnim merama obez­ beđenja, a oko učesnika je bila og­ ra­da duga 46 km, što je 10% više ne­go tokom poslednjeg Foruma.

Zanimljivo je da je u Davosu sme­ štena i Monstein pivara, najviša pi­­vara na svetu, budući da je sag­

Otvorena je za javnost, tako da po­setioci mogu da saznaju sve što ih zanima o proizvodnji piva i

A High End Event in Every Sense

Davos – The Host of the World Economic Forum for More Than 40 Years At the beginning of each year, all eyes were focused on Davos, a charming town located high in the Swiss Alps. And not because of the skiing, since it is a popular ski resort, the largest one in Switzerland, but due to the fact that it gathered world top leaders and the most influential persons from all areas that have a global impact on world politics and economy.

The word is that strategic plans for the future are being forged here - plans that have an impact on the entire world - but we’ll focus on how this small town organizes one of the most important global events.

The answer to the above question lies in the most important featu­ res, such as infrastructure and a tra­dition of good practice.

Surely, lobbying and the appro­ priate geo-political position go without saying, together with the fact that WEF as a not-for-profit foundation is headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland.

Also, it is interesting to mention that the British royal family has been spending their winter holi­ days in Klosters, a ski resort not far from Davos, for decades.

The World Economic Forum An­nu­ al Meeting for over four d­ecades remains the foremost creative for­ce for engaging the world’s top leaders in collaborative activities to shape the global, regional and industry agendas at the beginning of each year.

In addition to the modern cong­ress center with a unified of­fers of ac­commodation, Davos is easily acces­sible by road or rail, its’ around two hours away from Zurich international airport, the nearest main international airport.

Of course, there is the possibility to land by helicopter directly to

D­avos, which generally is the prac­ tice during the World Economic Fo­rum.

As far as safety is concerned, Swit­ zerland is engaged 4,500 sol­di­ers and police for WEF. Security includes two surface-toair missile systems. Also, around 100 participants got special secu­ rity coverage and attendees will be hem­med in by 46 km of fences, 10% more than at the last Forum.

It is interesting that Monstein Bre­ wery is located in Davos.

It’s one of the highest bre­weries in the world in terms as being estab­ lished on a high altitude.

The brewery is open to the public, so one can learn all about produc­ tion of the beer and the necessary ingredients, and to try the Monste­ in beers and other specialties.

„Food Revolution” Jamie Oliver-a James Trevor Oliver, poznatiji pod imenom Jamie Oliver, jedan od najpoznatijih ku­vara u Velikoj Britaniji, ali i u svetu, popularnost je stekao u TV seriji „Goli ručak’’.

Rođen je u Klaveringu, gradiću u Engleskoj 1975. godine, gde su njegovi rodite­ lji imali restoran i pab „The Cricketers” te je on od najmlađih dana provodio vre­ me u kuhinji. Upravo tu je napravio svoje prve specijalitete.

Kako su njegovi roditelji primetili da ga kuvanje posebno zanima, već su mu od sedme godine davali jednostavne kulinarske zadatke u koji­ma je on uživao, poput ljuštenja krompira. Obožavao je da gleda ku­vare dok pripremaju razna jela za goste res­torana, stalno zapitkivao o namir­nicama koje su koristili za pripremu, čak je i umeo da napravi dobru atmosferu među gostima.

Jednostavno, svi su znali da će on jednog dana biti izvanredno dobar ugostitelj.

Ovogodišnja tema susreta najuti­ cajnijih ljudi na svetu na Svetskom ekonomskom forumu u Davosu u Švajcaraskoj bila je „Odgovorno poslovanje”, a jedan od učesnika bio je i sam Jamie Oliver.

Prema njegovoj proceni, deca od četiri do 16 godina se jako loše hra­ ne u školskim kantinama, obroci su

nezdravi i loše pripremljeni, a nji­ hovo zdravlje je jako ugroženo što dovodi do povećanja broja gojazne dece. Zajedno sa Vladom svoje dr­ žave, radio je na kreiranju nacional­ ne strategije protiv gojaznosti, koja, nažalost, nije ugledala svetlost da­na, ali je zato jedan od njegovih predloga usvojen – predložio je da se uvede poseban porez na pića koja sadrže šećere, što je britanska Vlada i učinila.

U ovom razgovoru je napomenuo da smatra da je najvažnije napraviti dobar balans između tehnologije i tehničkog napretka čovečanstva i znanja koje postoji hiljadama go­ dina unazad. Kada se ta ravnoteža uspostavi, čovek će biti primoran da ravnotežu unese i u svoj život, pre svega u ishranu. „Nije potreb­no puno napora za ovako nešto. Ja sam primer za to. Umrežavao sam farmere koji

Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution James Trevor Oliver, better known as Jamie Oliver, one of the most famous chefs in the United Kingdom, and worldwide as well, has gained popularity in the TV series “The Naked Chef”. He was born in Clavering, a small town in England in 1975, where his parents had a restaurant and a pub “The Cricketers”, and thus he was spending time in the kitchen even from his early days.

It is there that he made his first specialties.

As his parents noticed that he was particularly interested in cook­ ing, they were giving him simple culinary tasks he enjoyed as early as he was seven years old, such as peeling potatoes. He loved to watch the chefs as they were pre­paring various dishes for the guests of the restaurant, kept asking about the ingredients that they used to prepare those dishes, even knew how to make a good atmosphere among the guests.

Simply, everyone knew that, one day, he will be an extraordinarily good caterer.

As his first show “The Naked Chef” beat all the viewership records, Jamie turned to writing a book of recipes, which, lo and behold!, in just a few months after the print was proclaimed a best seller!

This was his springboard to the stars, as he even cooked for the

Jointly with the Govern­ ment of his country, he worked on the creation of a national strategy against obesity, which, unfortuna­ tely, is not yet official, but, on the contrary, one of his proposals was adopted – he proposed to introdu­ ce a special tax on beverages con­ta­ ining sugar, which the UK govern­ ment implemented.

During this interview, he mentio­ n­ed that he considered the most impor­tant strike a balance between techno­logy and technical pro­gress of humanity and knowledge that exists for thousands of years.

When such a balance is set, a hu­ man will be compelled to bring the balance to his life as well, primarily to his diet. “It does not take much effort to do something like this.

“When you recognize that something is a problem, you no longer have the luxury to ignore it. You have to come to grips with it and try to solve it. Otherwise, it will begin to harass you more and more”, Jamie said.

“I arrived to Davos to encounter my problem, to meet with my enemies and those who support what I do.”

Jedinstvena ideja za vaš događaj

Karikatura – Smešna strana ličnosti Karikatura predstavlja grafički portret osobe sa prenaglašenim ili pak narušenim karakteristikama, ali koji ima sličnosti sa stvarnim izgledom osobe. Jednostavno rečeno, karikature naglašavaju mane ili prednosti određenog lika.

Karikature su postale popularne u XVI i XVII veku, a vode poreklo od italijanske reči caricare što znači pretvoriti ili preterati. Smatra se da su se prvo pojavile u Italiji, odakle su prenete u Francusku, a nakon toga i u Veliku Britaniju, ostatak Evrope i sveta.

Karikatura je od samog početka imala svrhu da nasmeje ljude, ali i da ukaže na određene probleme koji su postojali u društvu ili državi.

Kroz karikature su predstavljani portreti javnih ličnosti, koje su na određeni način imale važnu ulogu u razvoju društva, pa su određeni njihovi postupci ili ponašanje pred­ stavljani putem ove vrste portreta.

Pri izradi karikature koriste se gra­ fitne olovke ili mastilo, mada se u da­na­šnje vreme mogu koristiti i programi za izradu karikatura.

Uz karikaturu može se dodati i određeni tekst koji bi pojasnio karikaturu, ali se može desiti da i karikatura bude sastavljena iz nekoliko delova koji hronološki objašnjavaju njen tok.

Od svog pojavljivanja pa sve do da­nas izrada karikatura predstavlja likovnu umetnost koja je opšte po­ znata i prihvaćena u celom svetu.

U Americi postoji udruženje kari­ katurista – ISC-a (International So­ciety of Caricature Artists) koje svake godine održava konferenciju u ražličitim mestima.

Kada govorimo o regionu, takođe postoje udruženja karikaturista, ali se organizuju i brojna takmičenja, kako za odrasle, tako i za decu.

Prvo se krenulo sa ka­rikaturama u osnovnoj i srednjoj školi.

Sećam se kada sam nacrtao ceo ra­ zred, o tome se diskutovalo i zbijale su se šale narednih mesec dana.

Zatim sam počeo da šaljem rado­ ve na razne konkurse. Potom su us­le­dili pozivi da objavljujem u no­ vin­skim listovima i časopisima, da ilus­tru­jem knjige i crtam uživo.

Kada ste prvi put radili kao karikaturista na nekom događaju?

Prvi put je to bilo na Međunarod­ nom festivalu humora i satire Zlat­na Kaciga u Kruševcu, 2011. godine.

Pre glavnog programa karikaturisti crtaju posetioce, i sećam se da sam ja onako pun samopouzdanja seo da crtam, i kada je prvi po­setilac tj. model seo naspram mene, tad je krenulo preznojavanje...

Ali sa svakim sledećim modelom je bilo sve lakše i ubedljivije.

Posle toga slede pozivi za razne do­ gađaje kao što su: Dani Wajferta, SEEbtm Party 2015, Dani Francuske u Merkatoru, Donatorsko veče u Čikagu (SAD)...

Učestvovao sam na nekoliko huma­ nitarnih događaja, gde su posetioci time što kupe svoju karikaturu do­ nirali novac za nečije lečenje.

Koliko vremena Vam je potrebno da uradite jednu karikaturu?

Ako se radi o portretnoj karikaturi na nekom događaju ili o crtanju uži­vo, potrebno mi je od 10 do 15 minuta, i crta se flomasterima raznih debljina, a ja takođe koristim i brush flomastere, jer im je vrh kao četkica, i onda dobijate liniju različite debljine, i to daje neku posebnu draž...

malo časopisa i novinskih listova gde možete da objavite svoj rad, a da vam se to pošteno plati.

Morate mnogo da radite, da pri­ hvatate bukvalno sve, da napredu­ jete iz dana u dan da bi se vaš rad raširio, i da bi ljudi čuli za vas, da bi vam ponudili posao.

To je najveća opasnost za mlade ka­ rikaturiste, mnogi su odustali jureći što se kaže trbuhom za kruhom.

Takođe, teško je i kad imate poro­ dicu, onda čekate da svi legnu da

spavaju da bi ste vi crtali do kasnih sati, i ispoštovali sve rokove...

To sve negde ide u rok službe kada ima posla. Meni je crtanje pružilo mnogo zadovoljstva i čini mi život lepim i srećnim, jer radim ono što volim.

Unique Idea for Your Event

A caricature is a graphic portrait of a person with exaggerated or even contorted features, but which has similarities with the real appearance of a person. Simply, caricatures highlight the advantages or disadvantages of a particular character.

Caricatures became popular in the 16th and 17th century, and origina­ te from the Italian word caricare, meaning convert or exaggerate.

It is believed that the caricatures have first appeared in Italy, from where they were transferred to France, and then to Great Britain, and the rest of Europe and the world.

From the very beginning, a cari­ ca­ture had a purpose to make pe­ople laugh, but also to draw at­ tention to a certain problems that existed in population or a country.

Caricatu­res were presenting the portraits of public figures, which in some ways, played an important role in the de­velopment of society, and then their actions or behavior we­re presented by these types of port­raits.

We might say that, at that time, a caricature was a very po­werful weapon that appeared in the me­ dia, which should not contain any additional description.

On the one hand, this was an ad­ ditional advantage of a caricature since the majority of the populati­ on at that time was illiterate.

The creators of the caricatures we­ re primarily satirists, but also very well-known artists - among them was Leonardo da Vinci.

When creating a caricature, pencils or ink are used, although, nowa­ days, one can use the program to create a caricature.

A caricature can be supplemented with a specific text to clarify a ca­ri­ cature, but it can happen that the caricature is made up of several parts, which chronologically ex­ plain its course.

Since its appearance until today, making a caricature represents the art, which is generally known and accepted worldwide.

In America, there is an association of caricature artists – ISC (Internati­ onal Society of Caricature Artists), which held conferences in different places every year.

When we talk about the region, the­ re are also associations of caricatu­ re artists and numerous competiti­ ons are organi­zed, for both adults and children.

Caricatures at events The caricatures represent one of the most popular art form of today, which, in addition to publishing in newspapers and magazines, can be used in organization of an event.

To present something new at your event and to further animate the participants, engaging a caricature artist can be a great idea, which was also proven in practice at the

event SEEbtm, held in early 2015 in Belgrade, organized by the portal Kongresniturizam.com.

The participants can thus further relax and laugh to their appearance in the eyes of a caricature artist, while they will definitely tell their associates and friends that they saw something new at your event.

Since the caricatures are made on paper, an additional idea may be that this paper can be branded

with your logo and thus promote your company.

Of course, with the advancement of technology, the caricatures can be prepared on tablets, iPads, etc.

Caricature at First Hand to my parents, I was sitting in his lap, sketching everything that was in my vision field. When he noticed what I was doing, he started giving me tasks - to draw a bird, a house, a bicycle.

How have you decided on a profes­ sion of caricaturist?

I draw since I can remember. I was 4 or 5 years old when a cousin ca­ me to visit us. While he was talking

When I did that too, I remember he told my parents I was talented... and then there started the “under­ lying” of pencils, markers, papers, while others were running around after the ball, playing with cars, I drew...

As for the caricatures specifically, it is simply a need to say something

or suggest to others certain situations and topics, certainly more expressing through drawing rather than words.

First, I started with caricatures in elementary and high school.

I remember when I drew the who­le class that was extensively dis­cus­ sed and joked with for the next month.

Then I began to send my works to various competitions, then came the invitations to publish those in newspapers and magazines, to illustrate books and draw live.

When did you work for the first time as a caricaturist at an event?

The first time it happened was at the international festival of hu­ mor and satire Golden Helmet in Krusevac, in 2011. Before the main program, the caricaturists draw the visitors, and I can remember that I sat down to draw, so confident, and when the first visitor i.e. the model sat opposite me, I started to sweat... But it was easier and more convincing with each next model.

and, therefore, during the Days of France in Mercator, I dressed the visitors in Napoleon, cooks, pain­ ters on Montmartre...

What do you consider the most difficult part of your job?

The most difficult part is specifical­ ly the current status of the caricatu­ re art, i.e. the art in general.

There are no problems in the cari­ cature itself, but as there are today very few magazines or newspapers

Afterwards, there came the calls for a variety of events such as: The Weifert Days, SEEbtm Party 2015, Days of France in Mercator, the Donor Evening in Chicago (USA)...

I participated in several charity events, where the visitors donated money for one’s treatment buy buying their caricature.

How much time do you need to make a caricature?

If it is a portrait caricature on an event or drawing it live, I need 10 to 15 minutes, and it is drawn with lines of markers of various thick­ ness. I also use the brush markers, because those have the top as a brush, and then you get the lines with diverse thickness, and it gives a special charm...

I have my one style bound to the occupation of a person I draw or to the event in a case of a promotion,

where one can publish his work and get fairly paid for. You need to work a lot, to accept actually anything, to improve on a daily basis in order to extend your work, to make people hear about you, so that they can offer you a job.

This is the greatest danger for yo­ung caricature artists many of them have given up, just chasing looking for a better.

Also, it is difficult when you have a family, and then you wait for everyone to lie down to sleep to make you draw until the late hours, and comply with all the deadlines...

It all goes around in a service effort when there is a job to do.

Drawing gave me a lot of pleasure and it makes my life beautiful and happy, because I do what I love.

In addition to drawing, I run a scho­ol of caricature art for children and try to give and convey to these chil­d­ren as much as the drawing gave to me.

Prvi kapsula hostel otvoren u Zagrebu Prvi kapsula hostel u našem regionu otvoren je u decembru 2016. godine, u Zagrebu.

Hostel pod nazivom Subspace umesto klasičnih soba, čine kapsule sa jednim dušekom kao i sa monitorom za surfovanje po internetu.

Pored dušeka dimenzije 2x1 metar, kapsule su opremljenje ventila­ cijom, osvetljenjem, ogledalom za šminkanje kao i sefom za dokumenta.

Za noćenje u ovakvom hostelu biće potrebno da izdvojite oko 33 evra.

Inovativna teretana u Parizu Svi znamo da vežbanje u teretani može biti dosadno, dok pra­timo podatke na različitim spravama i gledamo u zid.

Ali zahvaljujući inovativnom konceptu teretane u Parizu, to bi moglo da se promeni. Naime, koncpet pod nazivom „Paris Navigating Gym” će ploviti rekom Senom uz pomoć ljudske energije. Funkcionisaće kao manuelni čamac u koji će moći da stane do 45 ljudi. Teretana dužine od 20 m biće opremljena biciklima i drugim spravama, a pru­žaće i infor­ macije o stanju reke Sene. Sve sprave u tereta­ni, će biti deo sistema koji na kraju proizvodi električnu energiju.

Najduži tunel na svetu

Izgradnja najdužeg tunela na svetu koji se nalazi izme­ đu Ciriha i Lugana trajala je 17 godina.

Tunel pod imenom „Gotthard Base Tunnel – Gotard GBT” dugačak je 57 km i prolazi kroz planinu Sveti Gotard u Alpima.

Na izgradnji tunela učestvovalo je 2.400 radnika, a prilikom izgradnje iskopano je više od 28 miliona tona stena.

Izgradnja ovog tunela koštala je 11 milijardi evra.

Butan – Zemlja sreće Parlamentarna monarhija Butan jedina je država na svetu koja sma­ tra da je težnja za srećom svakog stanovnika najbitniji cilj, te je pravo na sreću upisano u član 9 njihovog Ustava.

Vlada Butana je osnovala i Ministarstvo sreće jer je ona glavni prio­ritet nacionalne politike. U ovoj državi ne postoji koncept bruto domaćeg proizvoda, a umesto toga, za blagostanje se koristi drugi indikator – bruto nacionalna sreća. Iz tog razloga se, svakoj osobi u zemlji u sklopu popisa stanovništva, pored ostalih postavlja i pitanje: „Da li ste srećni?”. Čak 35 % stanovnika se na poslednjem popisu izjasnilo „veoma sreć­nim”, 47,9 % se oseća „umereno srećno”, dok je samo 8,8 % istih izja­­vilo da je „nesrećno”.

Koliko znate o astronautima?

Da li ste znali da odelo za astronauta košta 12 miliona dolara? Još jedna od zanimljivosti vezana za njih jeste da, dok su u svemiru, ne mogu da plaču jer nema gravitacije pa suze ne padaju niz lice. Većina astronauta poraste za 2 cm u svemiru, srce im postaje okruglije, prestaju da hrču.

Spavanje za njih predstavlja veliku avanturu zbog nepostojanja sile gravita­ cije pa ve­ćina voli da spava u specijalno dizjaniranim vrećama za spavanje koje su zakačene za zid ili pod. Ono što i nije baš prijatno jeste činjenica da skoro svaki od njih oseća neki od efekata svemirske bolesti, izazvane širo­ kim spektrom konfuznih informacija koje stižu u njihovo unutrašnje uho.

The First Capsule Hostel Opened in Zagreb

The first capsule hostel in our region was opened in December 2016, in Zagreb.

Instead of standard rooms, the hostel called Subspace is compri­ sed of capsules with one mattress and a monitor for surfing the Internet. In addition to mattress of dimensions of 2x1 meters, the capsules are fitted with ventilation, lighting, make-up mirror, as well as with a safe.

The night in this hostel will require about 33 EUR.

Innovative Gym in Paris We all know that exercising in a gym can be boring, while tracking the data on various devices and looking at the wall. But thanks to an innovative concept in the gym in Paris, that could be changed. The concept called “Paris Navigating Gym” will sail the River Seine supported by the human energy. It will operate as a manual boat which will be able to host up to 45 people. The gym will have a length of 20 m and will be equipped with bicycles and other devices, while it will provide the in­formation on the state of the River Seine. All machines in the gym will be part of the system that ultimately produces electricity.

The Longest Tunnel in the World The construction of the longest tunnel in the world located between Zurich and Lugano lasted for 17 ye­ars.

The tunnel under the name Gotthard Base Tun­nel is 57 km long and passes through St. Gotthard Mo­untain in the Alps.

The construction of the tunnel involved 2,400 workers and during the construction, it was exca­vated more than 28 million tons of rock.

The construction of this tunnel was worth 11 billion EUR.

Bhutan – The Country of Happiness Parliamentary Monarchy of Bhutan is the only country in the world that believes that the pursuit of happiness of every inhabitant is the most important goal, while the right to happiness is written in the Article 9 of its Constitution. The Government of Bhutan has established a Ministry of Happiness because it is a top priority of the national policy. This country does not have a concept of gross domestic product, but instead, the welfare uses another indicator gross national happiness. For this reason, as part of a census, every person in the country, among others, is asked a question: “Are you happy?’’. Even 35 % of the population at the last census declared themselves “very happy”, 47.9 % felt “moderately happy”, while only 8.8 % of them said they were “unfortunate”.

How Much do You Know About Astronauts?

Did you know that a suit for an astronaut costs $ 12 million? Another interesting astronauts related issue is that, while in outer space, they can’t cry because there is no gravity, so the tears don’t fall down their face. Most astronauts grow by 2 cm in space, their heart becomes rounder, and they stop snoring. Sleeping for them is a great adventure due to a lack of gravity, so most of them are fond of sleeping in a specially designed sleeping bags that are attached to the wall or floor.

What is not so pleasant is the fact that almost every one of them feel the conse­ quences of some space sickness, caused by a broad spectrum of confusing information coming to their inner ear.
