L’innevamento programmato è sempre e comunque realizzato con l’acqua piovana che viene trasformata in neve, e poi torna alla terra, in un eterno ciclo naturale. La tecnologia aiuta: Skicarosello ha adottato SnowMan (ovvero Snow Management), sviluppato dalla BPEng di Rovereto. Un sistema che acquisisce dati come la quantità di neve prodotta dai cannoni, mettendola in relazione con quella presente sulla pista da sci e rilevata dai sensori presenti sui gatti della neve, in grado di valutare anche la conformazione del terreno. Queste informazioni, geolocalizzate grazie al segnale Gps, sono utilizzate per decidere quali impianti di innevamento azionare, e per quanto tempo, fino al raggiungimento della quantità di neve di volta in volta necessaria. Tutto questo si traduce in un notevole risparmio di acqua ed elettricità, riducendo a zero lo spreco di queste risorse. Attualmente SnowMan è attivo su tutte le piste di Skicarosello Corvara e su tre quarti di quelle dell’Alta Badia, ed è stato implementato con software ancora più moderni. La pista Gran Risa è al centro di un progetto pilota che in futuro sarà esteso ad altri ambienti di gara. È la sede di una competizione di Coppa del Mondo, quindi deve rispondere a standard elevatissimi: ecco perché Skicarosello Corvara ha creato una app dedicata agli operatori che si occupano della barratura, tecnica speciale che garantisce la perfetta tenuta del manto nevoso per tutti gli atleti, compresi quelli che partono per ultimi. L'utente rileva le condizioni della pista in punti sensibili, il peso della neve, l’umidità interna e superficiale, la temperatura dell’aria e tanti altri parametri che, successivamente, immette nell’apposita applicazione, rendendo i dati fruibili digitalmente. La tecnologia viene incontro anche ai turisti e agli sciatori, che spesso si ritrovano a scegliere verso quale località dirigersi in base al “fattore neve”, elemento trainante della stagione. Skicarosello ha optato per la massima trasparenza e correttezza: il pubblico, tramite snowreport.skicarosello.it, può verificare in tempo reale, ora dopo ora, lo stato di avanzamento e di innevamento di ogni pista e valutare così se spostarsi o meno. Inoltre, più di mille iscritti al servizio ricevono un bollettino con gli stessi dati ogni 2-3 giorni.

Die programmierte Beschneiung wird immer und auf jeden Fall mit Regenwasser vorgenommen, das in Schnee umgewandelt wird und dann in einem ewigen natürlichen Kreislauf zur Erde zurückkehrt. Die Technologie hilft: Skicarosello hat SnowMan (oder Snow Management) eingeführt, eine Software, die von BPEng aus Rovereto entwickelt wurde. Diese dank des GPS-Signals geolokalisierten Angaben helfen, darüber zu entscheiden, welche Beschneiungsanlagen wie lange betrieben werden sollen, bis die erforderliche Schneemenge erreicht ist. All dies führt zu erheblichen Einsparungen von Wasser und Strom und verhindert die Verschwendung dieser Ressourcen. Derzeit ist SnowMan auf allen Pisten des Skicarosello Corvara und auf drei Viertel der Pisten von Alta Badia aktiv und wurde mit einer noch moderneren Software implementiert. Die Piste Gran Risa steht im Mittelpunkt eines Pilotprojekts, das auch in den kommenden Jahren weiterentwickelt wird. Sie ist der Austragungsort eines WeltcupWettbewerbs und muss daher extrem hohen Ansprüchen genügen: Aus diesem Grund hat Skicarosello Corvara eine App für die Bediener entwickelt, die sich um das Vereisen kümmern. Diese spezielle Technik garantiert eine perfekte Schneedecke für alle Athleten. Einschließlich derer, die zuletzt starten. Der Benutzer erkennt die Schneebedingungen an empfindlichen Stellen, sein Gewicht, die innere und oberflächliche Luftfeuchtigkeit, die Lufttemperatur und viele andere Parameter, die anschließend in die entsprechende Anwendung eingegeben werden, um die Daten digital nutzbar zu machen.
