Lava Rising My heart is so weary from wading in the blood of my brothers from trying to make sense of all this mayhem, from wrapping myself around the broken hearts of my sisters the decimated lives of my people, from cradling sobbing children while trying to mend their broken bones...
my soul is just so tired! I scream into my pillow every time another black man dies desolation spewing from my contorted guts... while deep down in my psyche I feel a primal throbbing a volcano percolating molten lava rising and I remember my mother’s words bad times don’t last forever one day its going to blow!
