DAYS 5–8 I A NTANANARIVO/TOLIARA/ ISALO NATIONAL PARK/IFATY Tour the Royal Hill of Ambohimanga with a private guide on your return to Antananarivo. The next day, fly to Toliara and travel inland to Isalo National Park. Hike the park’s dramatic sandstone landscapes, seeking out ring-tailed lemurs and Verreaux’s sifakas, and swim in natural rock pools. DAYS 1–4 I ANTANANARIVO, MADAGASCAR/ANDASIBE-MANTADIA NATIONAL PARK Arrive in Antananarivo. Visit the Madagascar Photography Museum before driving to AndasibeMantadia National Park. Spend three days discovering tiny chameleons, wild orchids, and more. Rise early to track indris, the largest of lemur species, in Analamazaotra Special Reserve. DAYS 9–14 I A NTANANARIVO/ NOSY KOMBA Fly back to Antananarivo. The next day, fly to the Nosy Be Archipelago and transfer by boat to the island of Nosy Komba. Settle into your oceanfront bungalow and spend three days exploring the archipelago’s rainforests, fishing villages, and pristine beaches; and snorkeling amid its marine wonders.
