DAYS 6–9 I SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK/ ARUSHA

DAYS 1–3 I A RUSHA, TANZANIA/ TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK Arrive in Arusha and travel to Tarangire National Park. Stop at the Noloholo Environmental Center,* headed by National Geographic Explorer Laly Lichtenfeld and run in partnership with the local Maasai people. Then settle into your camp in the heart of Tarangire National Park. Encounter herds of elephants, zebras, giraffes, and wildebeests

Fly to the vast plains of the Serengeti and settle into your tented camp. Spend the next three days exploring Serengeti National Park on game drives, and searching for crocodiles and hippos on the banks of the Mara River. Or see the majesty of the savanna from the sky on an optional hot-air balloon ride. Return to Arusha to catch your flight home. Sayari Camp or Olakira Tented Camp Meals: 4B, 4L, 3D *The visit to the Noloholo Environment Center is available from June through September. In other months, travelers will transfer directly to Tarangire National Park and enjoy an additional safari drive.
