5 colonic FAQs you're too embarrassed to ask

here’s one article I’ve written that always attracts the most attention when I share it on social media – the one with all the questions you’re too embarrassed to ask about colonics! There’s obviously a lot of curious people out there, so I’ve put together another five of the most common questions people are too embarrassed to ask anyone else. 1. What if I push the tube out? This is probably most people’s number one fear about colonics! Pushing the tube out is something that hardly ever happens. But you know what? Even if you do push it out, it’s no big deal – you can simply reinsert the tube and get going again straight away. In the 15 years I’ve been having colonics I’ve only ever pushed the tube out three times, so it’s very unlikely it will ever happen to you.
2. Am I gonna poop my pants in the car on the way home? Not gonna happen! At the end of your session, I get my clients to spend another 10 minutes on the toilet just to make sure they’re empty before they leave. When I started having colonics, my therapist never encouraged using the toilet afterwards, and I lost count of the number of times I had to race home to the toilet! But at my clinic, this will never happen. 3. Do I need to take the day off work? Not at all! Colonics are so simple, view them like a ‘lunchbreak’ session. People come in for a treatment and then go back to work straight away. You can even go to the gym if you like. But I always recommend listening to the feedback your body gives you. I remember back to my first few colonics, and all I wanted to do was sit on the couch at home afterwards, but the cleaner I got the more energised I felt.
4. Am I going to feel sick afterwards? It’s much more likely you’ll feel fantastic afterwards! But if your colon is really toxic, it’s not uncommon to feel a bit nauseated after your first treatment, especially if you’ve stirred up some deeper toxic waste. But the good news is that that feeling only hangs around for 10 minutes or so before the great feelings kick in. 5. Will I need more than one colonic? One session is great if that’s all you can do, but your first session is very rarely your biggest session. The first big release of old waste usually occurs by your second or third colonic. You’ll usually have another big release by the fifth or sixth session, accompanied by darker waste and little black flecks. And if your goal is to clean all 5.5 feet of your colon, aim for a good 10+ sessions to achieve this. www.sunshinecolonics.com.au
