reeted with a welcoming smile from new owner Lanny Mendels, accompanied by a cup of Ray Thorpe’s famous summertime herbal elixir, and you’ll soon see why the latest location for Happy Herb Co shop at Maroochydore has been dubbed ‘Happy Corner’. The highly anticipated grand opening was attended by local herb enthusiasts and healthy living advocates who were entertained by harmonic frequencies from duo SpectralGlow and a divine display from fire goddess Aranya Lumiere, and delicious cuisine from Elixiba, Happy Herb Co’s sister company. joined in for the event, sharing a little of his inspiring story, and how Happy Herb Co came to be, his vision, and passion for healthy living and natural highs and why he is dedicated to share this knowledge to all who can benefit, signing copies of his guide to natural herbs and addiction solutions ‘Happy High Herbs’, now in its eighth revision. Sunshine Coast local Lanny opened the store at the end of February, and has been patiently anticipating opening celebrations in the midst of a pandemic. She is thrilled to finally be following her dreams, and putting her community development and health advocacy experience to good use. “The Happy Herb Shop is my very important connection to the community, a place where I am constantly inspired by my beautiful customers and the heart opening moments we share on the corner. I have always been passionate about health promotion and harm reduction, working
professionally in that field for the last decade, which was very rewarding and taught me a lot about what’s important in life.” Lanny can now weave her wisdom and skills to support her customers and community to embrace self-care and find holistic balance using herbs and natural products, there are hundreds to choose from. “It’s the most magical and happiest corner on the Sunny Coast as far as I can see and it’s perfect in every way for me.” Happy Herb Co Maroochydore 87 Aerodrome Road.
