LETTER FROM THE EDITOR Dear Reader, Whether you’re New to Circle K, a returning student, or just a friendly person interested in our organization, this newsletter and this club are for you! Not sure how Key Club fits with the University? Wonder what Kiwanis in Reno is like? Or already want to get involved in leadership? This month’s issue has a letter from Key Club Division 23, Info on all Six Committees, plus even how to join! Featuring news from CKIx and a personal hello by our New Subregion B Trustee, there’s something in here for everyone.
If you like what you see in this newsletter or have your own ideas, talk to me and check-out my Public Relations committee! And stay tuned: our October release will recap the amazing start to the academic year, with exciting reveals for Fall Training Conference 2016. Enjoy! Sincerely,
Daniel Lang
MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT Hello Nevada CKI!
You can expect this next year to be thrilling, so hold on to your hats and hang on tight. Our dream-team of board members is working hard to bring you a plethora of meaningful service events, celebrations, and lasting memories! Summer is upon us and the members of Nevada CKI are everywhere, from Las Vegas to New York, but never fear there are still plenty of opportunities for Service, Leadership, and Fellowship. Members not in Reno are teaming up with local Circle K clubs to join in on their fun. For the rest of you who are in Reno come join us at concessions and Hot August Nights! Be sure to visit the sign-up sheet for updates. If you want to get involved more with the division and district check out Kiwanis DCON in August and the District Professional Development Conference. There are also DCMs happening every month. Be sure to bring back lots of summer stories to share and keep Circle K in your hearts! Yours Truly,
Amie Schlageter
