Billed as one of the top off-the-beaten-track flea markets in Europe, you can literally spend hours searching through each of the 150 plus vendors’ stalls for chic and shabby-chic treasures. You name it, and it is there — books, furniture, glass, pottery, and silk. Yes, the Cormano Flea Market is a wonderful place to find exquisite fabrics. The massive market is only open on Saturday from 6:00 AM to 1:00 PM, so be an early bird if you plan to catch your special Milano worm! Mange! You shopped till you dropped, and now you are affamato — hungry. A 40-mile drive (or train ride) from Milan takes you to gorgeous Lake Coma with the snow-topped Alps as a backdrop.
