Norfolk Countyfrom Message Office of the Mayor Mayor Amy Martin I’m pleased to welcome you to the Fall 2023 and Winter 2024 Recreation Guide. This guide provides information about the many programs and activities for all ages and abilities offered by Norfolk County. Starting this fall, our Recreation team has introduced several exciting new programs, including indoor floor hockey, inline/roller skating, women’s pickleball, and more. Residents can also book our many facilities to run their own events, sports, and activities. In addition to our recreation offerings, there are so many ways for residents to stay active and have fun outdoors throughout the year. Our community is home to a network of multi-purpose trails that provide opportunities to enjoy our beautiful forests, parks, wetlands, and ponds, and explore the towns and communities the trails travel through. If you’re new to Norfolk, be sure to check out our picturesque views this fall as our natural areas come alive with colour. Norfolk County’s Council is committed to fostering a community that is welcoming for all. I encourage you to explore this guide to find a program, activity, or group to help you connect with your community and enjoy what makes Norfolk County such a wonderful place to live. Sincerely, Mayor Amy Martin
