Blowing in my dream

Blowing in my dream Plaster 60cm. X 120x140 cm. 2005

“Blowing in my dream” combined with 2 forms, the form of a young girl and free form that I inspired from the balloons and the form of the toys in the playground. The free form I made was like an oval shape. It’s size is big enough for the kids can pass through. I attached two forms together by the young girl blows the air in to the balloons. That will made the relation between two forms.

Nestle upon my mom I always interest and observe the kids behavior. Once, I saw a young girl was crying and ran to hug her mother. I have seen the tenderness that the mother expressed to her daughter. It made me feel impressive. For me, that event made the inspiration to do this work of art, a sculpture which I designed forms from woman to make it look similar to the pillows. I use the light color to make it soft and tender.

Slider When I was a young child I don’t have many friends. I am the only one daughter in the family. So, I always played alone. It let me have a deep feeling with the toys .The sliders is the one thing that I remember .So, I made the composition between a young little girl, her balloons and the slider to have a movement. The structure’s line is moving. To make this sculpture balance, I had to calculate the weight to transforms carefully. So, I use material like fiberglass because it was so light but very strong.
