1. First Session 1.1.

Contents: Subject

First Session Registration and Openning Get to Know Participants Introduction about the Manual Break Second session Importance of Nutrition to PLHIV Discussion Principle of Nutrition     1.3.

Educational objectives: Objectives of this session is to inform the trainees about the following concepts: Definition of evidence and its contents Draw attention to the importance of nutrition in terms of general and of particular importance for people living with HIV Familiarity with the basic concepts of nutrition and the relationship of nutrition, food Definition of the basic components of food Activities Activity 1: Explain the educational objectives of the session How to: Distributed the manual to the participants and explain that this unit consists of:  the importance of nutrition for people living Nutrition Basics  Write the title of the session unit and the learning objectives for this unit on the flip board  Ask any of the participants to read loudly the learning objectives of the unit. Activity 2: The importance of nutrition for people living How to: Using the means of brainstorming  Ask participants (each and every one of them) about the importance of nutrition  Ask participants about their personal experience and the role of nutrition in their health  Initiate debate about this, and then view the slides from the manual

 Ask participants, what is nutrition and what is food science and the relationship between nutrition and food  Using the flip board type answers that were mentioned by the participants  Write the correct answers, which did not mention on the flip board.  Then show the slides from the manual

Activity 4: Work groups for nutrients How to: Participants are divided into three groups, each group sits far from the other, Discussed the following issues:  Group I: Carbohydrates: (types benefits, food sources, caused by lack of it)  Group II: proteins: (types benefits, food sources, caused by lack of it)  Group III: fat (types benefits, food sources, caused by lack of it) Monitor the results of each group and write on (the flip board) for presentation, Each group elects one of its members to present the work of the group and discuss them.

Contents Nutrition of Pregnant, Lactating and Children Breastfeeding from Mother Infected with HIV Nutrition of Pregnant, Lactating and Children 2.2. Educational objectives: Objectives of this session is to inform the trainees about the following concepts: C. Definition of the basics of nutrition for pregnant and breastfeeding women H. Definition of the basics of child nutrition X. Insights into risk factors for breast-feeding mother-infected D. Definition of the options available to the mother to breastfeed her child 2.3.

Activities: Activity 1: the basics of nutrition for pregnant and breastfeeding women How to: Using the means of brainstorming:  What's food supposed to eat the pregnant mother?  Why balanced diet is important for pregnant mothers?  Consequences of early pregnancies of adolescents and the consequent succession  Discussion the local foods and their nutritional value in each meal you eat  And write answers on the flip board. Ask the participants about the concept of exclusive breastfeeding for 6 months With the participants discussed the problems arising from the introduction of food other than breast milk Discussed the experiences of the participants in this topic then show the slides from the directory Using a method of brainstorming    

Food Drug Interaction Nutrition Intervention at Home 4.2.

Educational objectives: Objectives of this session are to inform the trainees about the following concepts: Interactive definition of the relationship between food and medicine Definition of household nutritional interventions in different conditions

Activities: Activity 1: Definition of overlap between nutritional and medication and treatments How to: Using the means of brainstorming: write answers on the flip board;    

Ask participants about their knowledge of the relationship of food and medicine How to take medication with food Personal experience with food and medication and how to deal with food and medicines using correct their information through the slide show
