The deadline to submit your entry is March 24. Voting will begin on March 27. Our winners will be announced at our Virtual ‘Tail’-gate Party, scheduled for April 6, 2023.

Happy March! The Global Alliance Committee will be meeting this week to further brainstorm and plan global events and opportunities for OSCAR members this year. We, as a committee, want to help all of our members grow their international business and will be bringing you two Global classes this month. Please sign up for Introductions to International Real Estate and/ or Building Your International Business, both taught by the incredible duo Pat Tan & Carla Raymann Kidd online on Friday, March 17.

Also, on the heels of last year’s successful Latin Fest collaboration with the RPAC committee, please mark your calendars for this year’s International Food & Wine Festival held Thursday, May 18 from 4-7pm.

Recently, members of our committee generously volunteered their time on behalf of the Boys and Girls Club of Osceola County at the 10th Annual Town of Celebration Marathon. It was a beautiful day for a marathon, and we were proud to support the thousands of happy runners and spectators.

As the Commercial Alliance Committee Chair, I am excited to share that officials from the Osceola County Government will present their Land Development Code on March 22, 2023 at 9:30 AM at our Association. We encourage you to attend and stay educated on the latest in land development code.

The purpose of the land development code is to ensure that all new development is safe, sustainable, and compatible with the surrounding environment. The code includes guidelines for everything from building design and construction to zoning and land use. Additional topics to be discussed during the class include provisions for sustainable development and the guidlines or the review and approval of development applications.
