“Summer Days Drifting Away”

Yes, I quoted the song “Summer Nights” from the movie “Grease” - is it stuck in your head now? It is appropriate since August is here - that means summer is nearing an end, schools will be starting back up and summer vacations will soon all be in the rear-view mirror. It also looks like we are on the tail end of the pandemic which means we will start working on adding more events to our calendar. I am looking forward to one more summer weekend getaway at the end of this month - the Escape to the Cape. I hope to see many of you all the Escape there. The next trip will be the fall getaway to the mountains of Northern Georgia in October. Our DE committee has been busy planning the next DE event for October 2-3. See the ad and article in this issue for more information. We also have regularly scheduled events - the monthly first Saturday Porsches and Pancakes and the third Thursday Socials.
