On the Cover: The 996 has always been a special generation of the 911 that Robert treasured. His father had a 996 growing up and they have so many memories together. It was one of the reasons behind choosing this 1999 Porsche 996. It has been a journey making it road worthy and reliable, but worth every headache. It’s at a point now that he can focus on the personality of his 996.

I’ll tell you now, that it’s going to be a great year! I want to take the opportunity to thank the Officers and Directors of the

Steve and Dottie Kidd, Ian Gerada, Mark Johnson, Mike Del Pozzo, Noemi Sanchez, Ed Blair, Carolynn Ditrichs, Cynthia Fluhart and Christy Spangler who is not on the Board this year but works hard as Social Director, none the less. We may not agree on everything, but we always
move forward for the betterment of the Club and its members. I apologize in advance for the shortness of the First Turn article this month, but I am having technical issues that have forced me to write this on my phone which is not very easy. Happy New Year! Taking some time off during the holiday season can give you a chance to catch up with friends and family and time to recharge. It’s like a re-set button, when the decorations come down and you spiff up your home and shine up your Porsche for the New Year. A fresh start. Anticipation for adventures to come.
make it a success, the BOD for their support and to the members and past presidents who joined us. At the time of this writing, we have about 30 members who are preparing to sail away on the PCA | Princess Treffen at Sea to the Western Caribbean from December 9-16.
December marked the conclusion of our yearlong 60th anniversary celebration. We ended it with a wonderful holiday luncheon and a people’s choice car show. With 130 in attendance, including 14 past presidents, it turned out to be a very nice event. A big thank you to the planning committee for all their hard work, the volunteers that helped
We want to hear from you! New this year is our post event survey (we implemented it late last year). comments you share will help the Social Committee in planning future events. The Social Committee will bring back favorites: the dine and drives, brewery events, picnics, etc. We will also investigate some new venues and activities. If you have any suggestions, please email me at socialchair@ goldcoastregion.org. Save the date for June 9-15 for the Porsche Parade that will take place in Birmingham, Alabama. Stay tuned for updates and announcements about upcoming events via the eNews emails. You can also check the calendar on the GCR website at goldcoastregion.org/ calendar or go to clubregistration.net for events and updates. PCA and GCR are fueled by volunteers: we could not do all the things we do without our volunteers. If you are interested in volunteering or have an idea for something fun, please contact the members of the Social Committee at socials@goldcoastregion.org. See you soon at an upcoming event!

Happy New Year! I hope you were able to enjoy Hanukkah and Christmas with your family and loved ones. We are all looking forward to a very PCA event packed 2024. Please note information on page 26 about the Porsche Parade located in Alabama. Just like the Parade in Savannah, we are hoping to have a large Gold Coast turn out this year in Birmingham. Happy 60th anniversary to our Gold Coast Region, which just celebrated with its members and many of the past presidents. One of our members, Alicia Laya, wrote about the event and our social chair Christy Spangler created a world class layout to celebrate the 60th anniversary. Both
Alicia and Christy are on the Kassette staff and will continue to contribute their time and talent to maintain the high quality of our magazine. Florida starts the racing season in Daytona with the Rolex 24 Hours Race at the end of this month. At the beginning of February, many of the racers meet at Sebring for the 48 Hours at Sebring Club Race. They are joined by over 300 PCA club racers and solo DE drivers from all over the US. To support this event, we rely on PCA volunteers from the Gold Coast and Suncoast Regions. Information can be found on pages 28-30. Once you have attended this event, which is the largest PCA club race in the world, your first question will be, “When can I sign up for next year?” This year is our 31st annual event and we have some
members who have been attending for most of those years. If you would like to attend, registration is open at www.48hoursatsebring.com. You can also follow us on Facebook at PCA 48 Hours at Sebring and Instagram at pcaclubracing_48hr_sebring. We hope to see you at the historic Sebring racetrack. Gold Coast is always looking for new volunteers to get involved with the club and the Kassette is always looking for your input and talent in photography, writing and graphics. We are all volunteers and would like to share the joy of producing our magazine with other members. Remember, the more you put into the club, the more enjoyment you will receive. Looking forward to a great 2024.

Customizing your Porsche? For Porsche purists, the idea of customizing a Porsche might not be appealing. However, personalizing my Porsche to suit my preferences and desires is something I naturally gravitate towards. Having recently acquired a “new to me” 911 Turbo S, the first thing on my mind was to add a personal touch to it. Below is an outline of my favorite modifications I’ve made to my Porsche, which might inspire some ideas for yours. Car Mats The standard mats in the 911 don’t quite cut it for me. I believe a Porsche deserves Coco Mats, which are made from coconut husk and echo the style of the 80’s 911 mats. Installing these black-on-black mats in my car was my first modification, and I absolutely adore them. Window Tint Although I’m not a fan of super dark tints, I find that a good ceramic tint is essential in Florida to keep the interior
of your car from overheating. Opting for a legally acceptable darkness, I chose ceramic tint for its superior UV protection, safeguarding both my skin and the car’s leather interior. Front & Rear Cameras The low profile of the 911’s can be a challenge, especially when parking. After replacing my front lip too many times due to miscalculations, I installed a front camera, which has since prevented any scrapes. My car came with rear sensors but lacked a rear camera, so adding one has made my driving and parking much safer. Apple/Android Car Play My 2013 model did not come with Apple Car Play, a feature I find much more user-friendly than the PCM system, especially with its up-to-date maps. I discovered a plug-in module, via Porsche forums, that integrates with my PCM 3.1 head unit. This addition maintained the factory look but added Bluetooth and wireless Car Play.

Wireless Phone Charging Port Fitting a decent phone mount in a 911 has always been a challenge due to space constraints. I found a great solution that replaces the ashtray with a wireless charging station. As a non-smoker, this modification was an inexpensive and straightforward upgrade. Now, I simply place my phone on the charger and enjoy the drive without worrying about my phone’s placement. In my mind, personalizing our Porsches not only enhances their functionality but it also transforms the car into their own personal style. I believe that carefully chosen modifications, from high-tech upgrades to aesthetic touches, elevates our driving experience, be it for practicality or preference. New Member Numbers As of the 1st of December 2023, our Gold Coast Region is thrilled to host a robust membership of 3,314 individuals. This count comprises 2,208 primary members, 1,106 comembers, and an exciting group of 284 PCA Juniors. For all the newcomers amongst us, we would like to express our heartfelt welcome to you, and we eagerly anticipate meeting you at an upcoming PCA event..

To mark this significant milestone, approximately 130 members gathered on the afternoon of Saturday, December 2, at Capriccio’s Italian Restaurant in Pembroke Pines.
People’s Choice Car Show Winners
The festivities kicked off with the People’s Choice Car Show, featuring an elegant ensemble of over 40 cars that illuminated the parking lot. Passionate Porsche enthusiasts strolled amidst the vehicles, casting their votes for their favorite car.

Historical Display
As the doors to the restaurant opened, we had the pleasure of exploring an outstanding GCR Historical Display—a professional showcase of photographs, newsletters, awards and remarkable memorabilia dating back to 1963. A time capsule capturing the essence of six decades.
Past Presidents
Adding to the excitement of the many historical artifacts being displayed, a fabulous selection of raffle prizes was also revealed. Here was a chance for everyone to preview these gifts and deposit their raffle tickets for the drawing later at the event.
After the luncheon, the occasion provided a special moment to honor GCR’s past presidents, many of whom were in attendance. Club members and friends came together to reflect on the substantial accomplishments of these club leaders. These 14 gentlemen and the years they served are: Stan Pearlman, 1968, 1978 and 1979
Ken Fengler, 1985 and 1986
Dan Smithyman, 2008 and 2009
Porsche is not just a car, it’s one of the great reasons for the holiday season. To enhance our anniversary celebration with the holidays, the Capriccio’s wait staff served a delicious holiday luncheon. Club members had choices for their main course, side dishes and dessert. A wonderful meal to compliment the lively table conversations.

AROUND THE by Steve Kidd
Our last event of 2023 was held on October 19 at Port St. Lucie Fairgrounds in Fort Pierce. We were extremely lucky to be blessed with excellent weather, a great group of competitors and some fabulous volunteers that helped make this event possible. Also noteworthy, is the fact that everybody had the opportunity to get 12 runs if they wanted to, and the course was relatively easy to follow with few off courses.
16
Special thanks to Tom and Guy for helping me set up the course, to James and Julie who are always there to support our events and do timing and to newcomers Mark and Paige for jumping in and working where needed. The teardown crew did a remarkable job of getting the cones picked up and the trailer packed in record time. The fastest time of day went to Ed Young driving his 2019 GT3. While Ed had the fastest time, everybody saw improvements as the day went along in addition to lots of smiles and bonding with their cars.

Your GCR autocross team has two events scheduled at Port St. Lucie Fairgrounds on May 11 and October 19. The first AX event of 2024 will be at Sebring on January 6 using the skid pad and a familiar course, so mark your calendars. Congratulations to our class champions for 2023! The results are on the GCR website and special awards are planned. Remember that if you run our autocross series, you will need to compete in at least four of the seven events and hopefully beat your competitors.

FINDING GOLD Henry Suarez
He is a Miami guy from day one… and a fast one at that! Member Feature by Mark Johnson Henry Suarez was born in Miami and has been a resident of this south Florida city, a city of the world, for his entire life. It’s been a great life, lived to the fullest and especially filled with Porsche cars and Porsche pals. Today, he and his wife Barbara live in Kendall, a south Miami suburb. Thanks to his dad, Henry has been interested in cars since he was a little kid. Pops built a go-kart for him when he was around five or six years old. During the early ‘70’s, Henry and his dad would hit the karting circuit for a boy’s getaway weekend for fun and for the mutual thrill. Dads enjoy seeing their kids do well, and Sénior Suarez was certainly no exception. As he grew, Henry upgraded to SCCA racing in the Formula Vee class in roughly 1980. Racing became more

After cutting his teeth in stronger and larger competitions, Henry moved to a Ford Fiesta in Showroom Stock C class. He made progress reaching the SCCA Nationals, with a very limited amount of Ford Factory contingency funding. In 1982, or thereabouts, Henry won a Regional SCCA Championship. However, as many racers well know, there are difficult sides and challenges as well. Not long after the Regional Championship win, Henry totaled the Fiesta at PBIR during a race in the rain. The crash earned Henry a free trip to the Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center ER. Fortunately, it was only an assorted collection of bumps and bruises that were noted, nothing serious.
Die Porsche Kassette | January 2024
Racing continued with a foray into the SCCA Improved Touring (IT) classes in several different cars. He ran the first generation Mazda RX7. This class was well subscribed, and race events regularly held 30-40 car fields at the start. Competition was tight, much the same as we see in the Mazda MX Cup racing today; large fields, very close competition and a bunch of “angry bees” running around the track together. Henry competed in SCCA until the mid 90’s. He also participated in a ton of autocross events competing in several classes and winning local class championships. He would probably still be involved in racing today but time, family and career began to limit the participation. He was fortunate
Henry with his father at the track and his Mazda RX7, successful race days to have a supportive father during his racing period as his dad was an automotive body shop owner. Sénior Suarez was a very talented fabricator who provided his skills when the racing transitioned from speed, to bump and grind. We suspect Pops repaired quite a bit of body damage as Henry’s racing skills matured.
being human. We understand that the wedge shape of the Fiat X-1/9 was the newest and most progressive look at the time, hence the attraction. According to Henry, “The 914’s at the time were very inexpensive and not highly desirable.” Looking back at that experience, Henry adds, “Obviously, I wish I still had that 914 today!”
shape body), a Corvette, a couple of pedestrian vehicles, SUV’s and pickup trucks, before the first 964 arrived, and then disappeared. Henry also ran a few motorcycles, and to this day he still owns a Yamaha XJ600. He has owned that bike for years, but doesn’t ride it as often anymore, stating he is likely to live a little longer.
Henry became interested in Porsches while hanging out in his dad’s body shop. He was in his teens. The Porsche brand was not quite as widespread then and the cars were somewhat rare, even in a city like Miami. Still, the fuse was lit at that early age.
Henry’s common sense eventually kicked in and he replaced the Fiat (still puzzled by that move) with a proper Porsche, a 911 964 vintage. Sadly, this 964 was stolen right out of his home driveway. The car was parked outside of the garage during a business trip that lasted a couple of days. Upon Henry’s return home, the 911 was gone, stolen during the day while Mrs. Suarez was away at work. While the car was locked and was equipped with LoJack (an early theft deterrent, car recovery system) the Porsche was never found.
Once past the need to go fast on the racetrack had been reduced to a warm remembrance, Henry completed his undergraduate studies at Florida International University with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree. Continuing with advanced studies, he completed and received his Juris Doctorate (JD) from the University of Miami School of Law. Henry has been working as an attorney, employed as Associate General Counsel for the School Board of Miami-Dade County. He manages and supervises the litigation practice group for the School Board.
The excitement about the Porsche brand was realized with Henry’s first PCar, a 1972 914 in light ivory and a black interior with a 1.7L flat 4. He acquired this car in 1976 and had it for a year or so. It was sold and replaced with a red 1977 Fiat X-1/9. (Huh? Why?) Well, everyone makes a mistake now and again; it’s part of

Porsche buds driving to the various PCar activities in South Florida. The 964 has been modified with an upgraded suspension, the BBS wheels and a Porsche Classic steering wheel. The Boxster is straight stock.
Open wheel Formula Vee days Henry is married to his lifelong partner, Barbara. They raised two daughters, Monica and Nicole, and both are in the health industry. One is a family physician and the other is a cardiology physician’s assistant. Both women are Miami residents. The current Porsche collection includes his 1990 911 (964) C2 in Grand Prix White, and a 2000 Boxster S (986) in Black. The 964 is quite distinctive in appearance with BBS wheels and can be seen often at Beat Culture, the Fuel Fed events in Fort Lauderdale and certainly during the many Gold Coast gatherings. Henry is quite active with this car, and it is a pleasure to see him out with all the
Given his background and passion for automobile racing, Henry has been to more Daytona 24’s and 12 Hours of Sebring races than he can remember. He has also seen several US F1 Grand Prix events, the Mexican GP, the 24 Hours of Le Mans and other European F1 events. Beyond the races, Henry has participated in the Porsche Parade in Boca Raton (2019), numerous Werks Reunions in Amelia Island and the Rennsport Reunion III in Daytona. While his dad got him interested in fast moving vehicles and fanned the flames in supporting his SCCA efforts, Henry took that to a whole new level. Henry has been a member of PCA since 1996, quickly approaching 30 years! He has traveled to Germany and visited the Porsche factory and museum, and to the Ferrari factory in Maranello. Enjoying an air-cooled experience, he also has visited the Volkswagen (VW) Group Autostadt in Wolfsburg.
Asked what he enjoys most about PCars, the answer is “pretty much everything that I can fit into my schedule!” As a member of at least 4-5 subgroups of Porsche pals, we suspect, and we know, that Henry is absolutely into the people as well. What is his favorite Porsche? “ALL TIME, THE 917 – NO QUESTION!” While he may have missed seeing this awesome Porsche on the track during the visits to Le Mans, Sebring and Daytona, we are certain that the speed of the 917, 240+ MPH on the Mulsanne Straight in a birdcage of a tube frame, totally captivated this SCCA racer’s attention. During an initial meeting of Henry Suarez, the new acquaintance might believe that he is a quiet, conservative and a highly qualified attorney. Getting to know him in depth leads to an understanding that the man lives with passion, speed in his blood and a great appreciation for Porsche and all its flavors. The South Florida and Miami Porsche scene is vibrant, and Henry Suarez fits into the scene smoothly.
Transformed! Young Henry and his old number 7 to the Two Beautiful Porsches he enjoys today! 20

DRT @ 10! It will be a week-long party Article by Mark Johnson, Staff Writter
The Die Porsche Kassette staff recently had the opportunity to visit with the Founder and Chairman of DRT, Avaro Rodriguez. In speaking with him, it was quite easy to be gathered up in the joy and excitement as he shared the plans for DRT X (10), the tenth anniversary for The Greatest Porsche Automobile Event in South Florida. DRT will be returning home to the City of South Miami. The 2024 show will be held in the original location at The Shops of Sunset Place on US 1, Dixie Highway taking over the entire complex. It will be a full week featuring all things Porsche that runs from Sunday January 14th through Sunday January 21st. DRT has secured over 200,000 square feet of indoor display space on three floors of shops for participants and visitors to engage with the South Florida Porsche community.

Activities will begin with a Cars, Coffee & Swap meet on Sunday, January 14 at the Waterford Business District near Miami International Airport. The 2024 DRT event will also host a track day at Homestead-Miami Speedway on Wednesday, January17 and a music concert event during the week. DRT X will be a full three-day Porsche Show on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday January 19th-21st housed in the various shops at Sunset Place.
An event of this magnitude would not succeed without the unbelievable support of the many volunteers, sponsors and participants.”
Most notably, Alvaro shared his personal thoughts on this significant mile post. “DRT X completes a wonderful story of my personal growth and that of my family. To see how Das Renn Treffen has matured from humble roots has been richly rewarding. We all have benefited tremendously. We have arrived at DRT X with the support of the community, and the synergies that evolved from that first DRT event.” Adding to this he suggests, “The incredible help of all the South Florida Porsche enthusiasts has been exceptional.
PCA Gold Coast Region is expected to have a hospitality area at DRT within one of the shops for members to stop by, visit and to welcome perspective members to join. Porsche Club Members may also submit to have their vehicles displayed during the three days (five days total for load in/ out), which will include a high quality space, and full security for both the display times, and non-display periods.

It is interesting that DRT X will return to Sunset Place, its original location. The entire complex has been sold for a major redevelopment project. However, the new owner has granted access to the entire facility for this special anniversary event.

PCA Parade 2024 Get Ready for the Porsche Parade! Article by Christy Spangler, Social Chair
What is the Porsche Parade? The Porsche Parade is a week-long event that is organized by PCA, much like a convention. It is where you can connect with members from across the North American Continent with people and Porsches coming from different parts of the US, even Alaska and Canada. It offers something for everyone. Competitions with the Concours d’Elegance, Autocross, Rallies and a 5K, to name a few. There will be tours with great driving to delicious restaurants and points of interest. Awards and events, such as the Welcome Party, competitions and national awards, will also be presented at the banquets. Additionally, other events included are the exhibition area, sim racing, beer tasting, etc. The whole family can come with many activities for PCA Juniors.
Where is this year’s Porsche Parade? This year it is in Birmingham, Alabama. When is the Porsche Parade? June 9-15, 2024 How to sign up: The Porsche Parade registration happens in two phases: Phase 1 will open in the JanuaryFebruary timeframe. This is when you register to attend the Porsche Parade. Once you register, you will receive information for hotel booking.
On the last day of the Porsche Parade, the popular Parade of Porsches takes place. Participants meet in a staging area and then, usually with a police escort, take a nice ride around town or a scenic highway. The day concludes with the Victory Banquet. This only scratches the surface of what the Porsche Parade offers. Start planning now for this great event
Phase 2 will open in the spring around April. This is where you pick what activities and banquets you want to participate in. We will publish a followup article beforehand to give you an overview of how Phase 2 registration works.

48 Hours Volunteering . . . at Gold Coast Region Article by Paul Raben, volunteer co-chair
The 48 Hours at Sebring Club race committee has been planning the 31st Anniversary PCA Club Racing event, known as The 48 Hours at Sebring for February 1-4, 2024. This makes it the perfect time for Gold Coast members to examine how they may become involved. It is a terrific opportunity to give back to our region and have an outstanding time enjoying the highly competitive Porsche, exclusive, club race weekend. The 48 Hours at Sebring is the most successful Club Race for PCA in the country. Beyond the racing and the fun, excess funds raised through the event are contributed to The Ronald McDonald House charities which help families and their sick child feel at home. It is a weekend of fun, excitement, great racing, and tremendous benefits. The 48 Hours at Sebring takes to the racetrack at the world-famous Sebring International Raceway, home of American Endurance Racing since 1952. For the past several years 400 Porsches have participated in Porsche racing,
high-performance advanced-solo driving, and an autocross event. This is the largest Porsche exclusive racing event and single marque automobile racing event in the world! THE 48 should not be missed, especially when it is in our backyard! The 30th Anniversary 48 Hour event held last year in February 2022 was a tremendous success. The Committee for THE 48 expects another large gathering of participants and supporting crew. As such, it is essential to make hotel reservations for the days you plan to attend. With room reservations secured, it will be appropriate to select from the available assignments. THE 48 is a co-hosted event with various committee teams from both Gold Coast Region and Suncoast Region. The 31st edition will be well attended by the club race folks, as we expect to sign up over 350 racers and advanced solo drivers in the early days following the opening of registration. We will need volunteers to support us and run this huge event.
Why should you care? Are you a PCA member that has been standing on the sidelines, wanting to become involved? Hesitation and being unsure of what happens at a racing event can be an obstacle to attendance. THE 48 Porsche Club Race at Sebring offers a casual opportunity to learn about Porsche automobile racing and it can provide a perfect opportunity to see what PCA is about. You will meet a group of nice people! Volunteering at THE 48 is easy. You only “work” for a few hours at a job that is more fun than effort. You receive a nice T-Shirt, free lunch and free Friday night vendor highlight party. Then the bonus of the opportunity to meet a race driver who just won the Daytona 24 Hour race the weekend right before the Club Race weekend. Within the race participants are past winners of Daytona 24, Sebring 12 Hour, or the Le Mans 24 Hour race. We have even had guests who have won them all. Certainly, you will not find a better gathering of Porsches and Porsche people anywhere. The following “jobs” are available for PCA Gold Coast members:
The Grid - Your primary responsibilities are. 1. Helping get each car in its assigned spot based on information on a timing sheet provided by Timing & Scoring.
Volunteer Check-In with Sherry and Ann 28
Die Porsche Kassette | January 2024
Daily exercise for the racecars at the 48 Hours Club Race 2. Doing a quick check of the car to make sure that it is not dripping any liquids, engine & trunk lids are closed and secured.
Solo group cars. Inspections are made for tire pressure, Torque lugnuts, check helmet certification, and inspect and check brake lights. Thursday and Friday are the busiest days for tech.
3. Checking the driver to ensure that he or she is buckled in, with helmet on and secure.
•
4. Direct traffic at several locations to assist racers to the grid or back to their paddock area after each run. NOTE: We have many people returning from the past year to work on the grid, but we still need a few each day. You need to be in decent shape as it entails a lot of standing and walking Timing and Scoring We need about 5 volunteers each day. You will assist the stewards in identifying the cars as they go past the start/ finish line to verify that their timing equipment is working properly. You will also assist in the preparation of the timing sheets for distribution to the grid. This is a nice comfortable inside job, but it is the heartbeat of the race. Tech and Scales •
Volunteers during each day of the event help make technical inspections for the Advanced
Additionally, volunteers are necessary for the vehicle scales and weighing the race cars. These scales are open Friday through Sunday. The race cars are weighed on the scales to make sure they are the proper weight for their car and class. Volunteers are needed to push the cars on the scales.
The Corners - We need volunteers to assist the SCCA corner workers at each corner. This is truly where the action is and as close to the track and racing vehicles as possible. Working the corners is a fun and action-packed assignment. Each corner throughout the track is staffed by 1-2 professional SCCA corner workers. For each corner, we assign a single volunteer to assist the SCCA corner workers. We have many volunteers who return each year and request a specific corner or corner worker. It is amazing how much you can learn while watching skilled drivers go through a corner lap after
lap. There is no better way to get closer to the action unless you are driving! The responsibilities for the corner are: 1. You are an extra set of eyes and ears for the SCCA corner worker, helping observe the activities on the track; 2. In the event of an incident the corner worker may ask you to hold or wave the appropriate flag. 3. You may be asked to assist with any reporting of an ontrack incident. KEY NOTES: •
AT NO TIME WOULD YOUR OR THE PROFESSIONAL SCCA CORNER WORKER GO OVER THE WALL ON TO THE TRACK. THESE DUTIES ARE THE EXCLUSIVE DOMAIN OF THE PROFESSIONAL SAFETY CREWS AT THE SEBRING TRACK.
•
Long pants and closed-toe shoes are required.
•
Please do not wear colors that would be confused as a race control flag! For example, no red or yellow shirts or jackets. White or the 48 Hour T-shirt are perfect.

Pit Marshalls - This is a Sunday-only job which starts around 10:00 AM with a meeting with the race steward. This position is needed during the Enduro (longer races). Each driver is required to make a 5-minute pit stop during each Enduro. We need at least 12 people to observe the pit stops. The responsibilities for Pit marshals are: 1. Observe and report to PCA scrutinizer any spilled fuel etc. 2. Observe and report any crew member over the wall without proper equipment
3. Make sure that the maximum number of crew over the wall is not exceeded.
Lastly, we need a few other volunteers to take on whatever task may come up.
4. Enforce all rules as instructed by PCA Scrutinizers.
To Volunteer, please log onto your computer and use the following URL: www.48hoursatsebring.com, then click on Volunteers. If you still have questions or concerns, please contact Paul Raben praben@gmail.com or Sherry Fabel at nana648@aol.com.
5. Long pants and closed-toe shoes are required. Training will be provided by PCA officials. Miscellaneous Positions. We need other volunteers to help with the Friday and Saturday night activities. This is where we raise the most money for charities. We also have positions available in traffic control.

My Dream 911 This month’s photo submitted by Roger Gonzalez, is his 2014 Carrera S in front of the beautiful Plymouth Congregational Church in Coconut Grove. For many years Roger said, “If I ever got a 911, it had to have the aero package with the classic ducktail, it had to be white and it had to be a 991.1.” Then one day in July it happened. This Carrera S unexpectedly appeared just as Roger would have ordered it and it even sported his favorite wheels. He had to have it, saying, “Sometimes things happen when you least expect them.” Roger took this photo with his iPhone 12.
