"You must never give up on your dreams." - Anita Duckworth-Bradshaw Today, we present to the world the 25th edition of Powerhouse Global Magazine (#pgmag). During the lightbulb moment in late 2017, what I thought to be just an Idea is now a globally read publication. Producing the 25th edition is like winning a lottery ticket, because it has been a long and challenging journey for all of us. We want to thank everyone who came through for us to keep going strong on this mission.

As part of our mission and to mark the 25th edition of our publication, we have now commenced the design of magazines for individuals and businesses other than ourselves. I want to specially thank the head of our design team for being part of our mission. Thank you to our global community and everyone who believe in us. Thank you.

INTERVIEW WITH:
LISA VRANCKEN (LV) PGMAG: Lisa, so good to have you on today’s interview with Lady Anita. LV: Thank you for the opportunity to speak with you. I’m thrilled to be here. We share a mission so dear to my heart. Like you, I’m driven to support others to heal from within, find their voice, and stand in their power. It’s my greatest passion, and I’ve channeled that energy into everything I do personally and professionally. I’m grateful to you for shining a light on so many leaders who are speaking their truth and making a positive global impact. PGMAG: Please briefly introduce yourself to our readers. LV: I’m Lisa Vrancken, and I’m an award-winning television producer, brand strategist, marketing expert, public speaker, book author, and business consultant. I'm a leader, entrepreneur, mentor, and a lover of life. I was raised in a sleepy, idyllic town in upstate New York. My father was a popular restaurateur, and secretly, he was a violent alcoholic. I was the baby of the family, tenderly close to my older sister and brother, and fiercely protective of my mother. It wasn’t until I turned thirteen, after my brother had married and my sister was graduating high school, that my mom finally found the courage to leave. I’m not ashamed to say it: the early years were highly dysfunctional, but these experiences made me the strong and

compassionate woman I am today. I was the textbook child of an alcoholic. I became an overachiever with the “disease to please,” but I channeled it into my education. At the time, I aspired to be a champion for civil rights. I interned with the ACLU at the height of the AIDS crisis, and I had a coveted internship position with one of the largest sex discrimination firms in the country. During undergrad, I envisioned making real change on a political level. I worked on The Hill under Geraldine Ferraro, the first female VP democratic candidate in U.S. history.
My experiences gave me a profound, unshakable calling to protect women. I found my voice in the world of visuals and video. I created a minidocumentary on the tough-butimportant topic of childhood sexual abuse called Raising Humanity, and earned a Silver Telly Award as the Executive Producer. Today, I guide entrepreneurs to make quantum leaps, have breakthroughs, and build stable, personally fulfilling businesses. I’ve received accolades for my ability to deliver powerful business narratives through video storytelling. I spearhead all aspects of creative production and project management to position companies and products for success.
The first thing I’d recommend to everyone is to stay grounded. Building a sustainable business takes a lot of heart, but it’s rooted in resilience. Prioritize the practices that keep you feeling balanced and in equilibrium. I’ve produced thousands of TV segments for big and small companies alike, and I created the globally-attended quarterly event Innovator’s Think Tank, hosted by Kevin Harrington, the original Shark from the Emmy award-winning television show Shark Tank. I love to build long-lasting relationships with my clients on their journeys to success. PGMAG: As a leader, what are some of the keys to building a sustainable business? LV: The first thing I’d recommend to everyone is to stay grounded. Building a sustainable business takes a lot of heart, but it’s rooted in resilience. Prioritize the practices that keep you feeling
balanced and in equilibrium. You are mind, body and spirit, and each element comes together to make your work-life sustainable. I’m spiritual and businessminded, simultaneously. I believe you can’t be successful without filling your own cup first. I live close to the water in Florida, and I find restoration and healing in nature. I meditate, practice kickboxing and martial arts, and go horseback riding whenever I can. I love to cook, entertain, and spend time with my big Italian family. A healthy worklife balance takes dedication to self-care...I always come back to myself, so I can bring the best of me to my business. I’ve lived many lives, and I know from experience: there’s no reason to be afraid of the pivot. Most of us have more than one passion in life. Be willing to explore what lights your heart and soul. When you find what resonates, it will ignite the torch of promise. Be willing to reinvent yourself without caring what others think. You’re the only one who can design your own beautiful life. Nobody can do that for you; nobody is going to save you. You need to learn how to save yourself and do what’s best for you.

My a-ha moment didn’t come until my third year of law school. After four years of undergrad and three years working towards a law degree, I had the realization that I was on the wrong path. I saw firsthand the inequalities in the judicial system, especially for lowincome women. My definition of success had changed, and I went on to pursue my own vision of my future.

by fear...it’s part of the territory. I like to think of every failure as one step closer to success. Take the quantum leap, when you intuitively know it's right. You can only make these kinds of sustainable decisions when you’re taking the time to take care of you. PGMAG: What is your message for the youth? LV: As you begin your journey, have patience with yourself. You may decide to make different choices than what you had originally planned. Take the time to learn about consciousness work and the limiting beliefs that may have been programmed in your early years, from your first day in the womb to the age of eight. The willingness to peel back your onion skin and address what’s at the core will be highly liberating, and it will lead to a major shift in your thinking. Do the work that’s necessary to make healthier choices by rewiring and reframing the way you think. It’s a process and it doesn’t happen overnight. However, becoming more self-aware is a necessary step to getting on the right path. Incorporate spiritual practices into your daily routine to keep centered. individuals? LV: We all have talents and gifts, even if you can’t see them just yet. Give yourself credit for what you’re good at. Many women I’ve worked with confided in me that they don’t know what they’re good at, if anything at all. They felt lost, and we’ve all been there. I always recommend that you take time to uncover the personality traits and characteristics that make you who you are. Write in a journal all the activities you enjoy doing in your free time. Reflect on the things you were good at as a child. Ask your loved ones to give an honest opinion and help you identify your greatest strengths and skills. See if any patterns appear and take notes. Embarking on self-discovery is a real eye-opener, and many who do the work are pleasantly surprised by what they learn. Forgive yourself for the choices that didn’t serve you. Instead, see these experiences as valuable for the important life lessons you were taught. Become aware of your own internal dialogue—words matter. Learn how to reframe your thoughts and speak to

In more than a year of writing, we heard so many different perspectives. Our book contains candid interviews from dozens of masters in their respective fields, and perspectives from well-known celebrity entrepreneurs and the everyday women making their indelible marks. Throughout the book, we honor the women who came before us and the women who are just beginning to conceptualize worldchanging ideas. Our stories, and those of the women we feature in this book, embody what the courage to persist looks and feels like from a woman's perspective. We believe it’s time to highlight real-life stories of female entrepreneurship, and our book is a celebration of taking that ancient goddess vibe into the boardroom and beyond. We share the holistic practices we know are necessary to maintain the staying power to take product ideas to market and beyond. By working together, we’ve built a

LV: In my younger years, I would have loved and honored myself more. I mentioned earlier that I suffered from the “disease to please,” as many of us do. I didn’t always set healthy boundaries, and I had a lot of difficulty saying no. I channeled a lot of my life source energy into others, because I didn’t want to seem selfish. I’m a nurturing soul, but I didn’t realize how to turn that care inward. However, as the years passed, I learned that self-love is essential. Life is a beautiful journey of discovery, and to truly create the foundation for living a successful and fulfilling life, you need to create a positive mindset. I embarked on studying and becoming certified in a variety of modalities which helped me to shift my thinking, from biofeedback to neurolinguistic programming (NLP) and hypnotherapy. Simply, you need to give yourself more of your own love and energy first. It’s a force, it’s the fuel that motivates you. Direct your creative flame into yourself to make healthier
PGMAG: What is your message for world leaders? LV: Together, we can change the world! Global citizens need to unite. We’ve got to stop talking and take action. There are so many issues that we’ve be speaking in circles about for many years—abject poverty, disease and illness, gender inequality, violence against women, sex trafficking, ongoing wars, human rights violations, climate change, and so much more. And yet, the problems persist. There’s so much inequality in the world, and the power is concentrated by the few. We need to quit the divisiveness and collaborate to be stronger. We can lift each other, institute real policy changes at the UN, and stimulate action from the well-recognized institutions of power. We need to take greed and partisanship out of our decision making, and stop separating people based on color, religion, and socioeconomic class. The only way we can make real change is if we come together in the

It’s in our hands to make a difference.” PGMAG: Finally, what would you say to your younger self? LV: Know your worth! Don’t let anyone tell you that your dreams are unattainable. Be patient and persistent, and don’t let fear paralyze you. We all experience fear. I don’t think there’s anyone that’s entirely “fearless.” For the successful, there’s one major difference in how fear is approached. Some are willing to lean into their fear, push through it and get over it because they are driven by their passion. If you really want something, go for it… give it everything you’ve got and celebrate all the small

My favourite book when I was little was an anthology of Greek myths. That set me on the path to reading archaeology and anthropology at Oxford University. Our ancestors survived because they cooperated and belonged to a group - safety in numbers. The fear of social exclusion was a survival instinct - and we still feel it. Of course today, being excluded or looking silly isn’t truly dangerous as it was in the Stone Age! Once you shift from worrying about what the audience thinks of you to focusing on your message to them, then the fear melts away. INTERVIEW WITH:
ESPERANZA SMITH (ES) PGMAG: Esperanza, so good to have you on today’s interview with Lady Anita. ES: Thank you for giving me the honor to share with others some of my work, Vision, the Consciousness movement, further integration of our well-being, and what I believe to be a juncture in our human evolution. PGMAG: Please briefly introduce yourself to our readers. ES: I am a holistic educator & healer, writer/ author, artist, speaker and Founder of PureEsperanza, NFP. I’m also a mother and grandmother and while all these have a special place in my Life, I see myself as a life-long learner, 20 JUNE 2021
living Life with intention, purpose, and a soul committed to our human evolution. PGMAG: As an authority in holistic healing, what are some of the steps needed to overcome anxiety? ES: My first inclination is to look at how we perceive a condition, including anxiety. If we want to change something it is in our power to transform it and heal it. However, we, first, must come into relationship with it. Embracing it and understanding how it has served us allows us to enter into a relationship with it. This is the precursor to all well-being and healing at each level of body, mind and soul. We can look into anxiety from each of these levels. You can treat
it physically, emotionally, and mentally, but to heal it you must treat it at each of these levels from the standpoint that we are a whole organism functioning as one. That is what it means to holistically heal. So, first, come into relationship with the condition (e.g. anxiety in this case). Get to know You, all of You, and that will include what lies more in the unconscious, or dark places, brought to more conscious light. Whether you are working with the guidance of a professional, or Within yourself, willingness is key to your process of discovery. Either way, retaining authorship and keeping your power to heal is vital. This is how we begin to order it from the level of the soul. Each human is a unique organism, and that is why
facing our deepest fear, and the countless masks that are in place, keeping us from truly knowing what we are. So, back to the basics, and of course there are layers, not necessarily complicated, but involving patience, determination, and a tenacious love for yourself to reconnect with your wholeness. From here, true transformation and healing happens from the level of Spirit. pure energy, aka consciousness. PGMAG: What do you think are the role of women in shaping the future of business? ES: In the history of our human evolution, in various forms and proportions, the Divine Feminine Principle was denounced. Ancients perceived it as the “Divine Feminine Mystery”. Women held not only the power of creation, physically through their bodies and more, but also as being highly receptive, intuitive, connected to their power and its energy to create from the heart center. Over the centuries, civilizations and cultures lost this collective connection and replaced it with intellect which carries its own energy. The forces of heart carry more warmth and the forces of intellect (head) more cold. Both are needed

allopathic medicine and Western medicine limits the whole individual organism by treating symptoms, relieving pain, using a conventional standard measurement, to name only a few ways it fails the integrity of the whole. Certainly, it can help, but to transform and heal a condition, a holistic approach will seek to track and identify the connections that block, misalign, and hamper our energy on each level or plane of its existence. With anxiety, we can begin to look at how fear is at work. We can be effective with many natural remedies in our foods, plants, and intake that will support the functions of brain activity and biochemical processes in an individual. We can create physical activity in the movement of our body and its rhythms that will positively affect us and support us. We can work with what triggers our emotions at the onset and once it sets in and takes control through observation, introspection, and retraining the thoughts attached to it, the mindsets, and beliefs, the level of the mind. The culprits of patterns are not always that difficult to find. The remedies, transformation, and ultimately healing, lies in the layers of all that we have created to avoid it, what labels we have attached to define who we are, fear of

and the integration of both forces, reuniting the whole are planted in the Wisdom seed of the Divine Feminine Mystery. This is what the role of women graciously offers the future of business, our world, and the next stage of our human evolution. In this growing awareness, consciousness, women that choose to create from their heart center will be the healers of humanity bringing wisdom, compassion, universal perspectives, stronger communications, openness, willingness, resilience, patience, determination, nurturing and nourishing care to tend to all aspects of Life, further integrating relationships with all Life be it individuals in business, family, communities, planet, and clearing the way for future generations of the human race. PGMAG: What is your message for women of the world? ES: Invest in educating yourself and by that I do not mean simply a formal education. I mean educate You with a sincere effort to discover your innate power to create. Be the astute observer of all your connections with Life all around you, then apply what you learn, then practice it again and again. Carry this seed to discover, and rediscover You, Within,

as you sow, plant, and harvest with each cycle of Life. Be the Keeper of this Wisdom as you reinvent yourself and create anew in each and every stage of your Life. Be the Power to pass it on. PGMAG: Please tell us more about PureEsperanza ES: The origin of how PureEsperanza evolved was a vision given to me at age 18, after a dance with deadly disease that helped to align me and commit to my purpose. There were many years in the making and many times its physical form was entertained, in different locations with varied groups, but it had to wait until its time was ripe. Now is the time. The core of this vision resounds in our non-profit organization’s, PureEsperanza, mission statement. “Dedicated to bringing forth more consciousness while educating body, mind and soul in the
art of well-being”. The vision of being a part of creating a new world, our next human evolution is echoed in our core values of which are: We are Creators of Life. Our Imagination is our Creative Power. Consciousness is Ever Expanding in All Life. We are what we Believe. We, All Life, are intrinsically Interconnected. We see the Whole mirrored in the Reflections of All. I believe that there are already in existence and will be many more holistic educational centers to assist in this process of human evolution. PureEsperanza is focused on facilitating and creating an international educational platform for connecting all aspects of well-being with the more integrated version of the multi-dimensional beings we are. We embrace diversified ways to share wisdom and healing in meeting individuals on whatever part of their journey they are on and aware of in
PGMAG: what are some of the measures needed to aid economic recovery in this challenged time? ES: A holistic approach to everything. One can not speak of economic recovery, or health, education, government, or any system that is in place without the other. We are watching systems fail and crumble. All is interconnected; and until we shift into more conscious perspectives that birth enlightened ideas for creating measures that connect, unify, and empower individuals to be the sovereign power Within
themselves, able to purposefully serve the collective, we will again create limitations, blocks and cause disconnect. The good news is that each of us individually can begin to make this shift with the precious life we live in this moment. We are the paradigm shift. PGMAG: What were the top three books that changed your life? ES: “As A Man Thinketh”, by James Allen. “The Power Of Now”, by Eckhart Tolle. While there are so many that have had a great impact upon my journey, I would have to say that there is great power in archetypes that live within the characters of a story and often even more potent than information in nonfiction. One that has deeply impacted my Life a timeless way, such as the wisdom of eternal fairy tales, and traveled with me on my journey is “The Chronicles Of Narnia”, by C.S. Lewis. PGMAG: If you knew what you know now, what would you do differently? ES: It is because of what I Know now that I would do nothing differently.
PGMAG: What would you say to your younger self? ES: Be patient. PGMAG: Finally, what makes you laugh? ES: Seeing myself in reflections of quirkiness, mishaps, foibles, and all the ways Life reminds us not to take It, others or ourselves too “seriously”. PGMAG: Thank you for your time – much appreciated. ES: So, very Thankful for Powerhouse Global magazine giving voice and expression to shifts in individual and collective consciousness, leading with plentiful seeds for a brighter world, future for us all, and the generations to follow. Achieving Your #1 Goal Have you ever considered how your money life affects your relationship with your spouse? Have you ever mentally seen yourself accomplishing your goals with money and relationships? You have more money goals than you can count on your hand. You do not even know there is a problem, or you do not see how your money life affects your relationships today.
H
ere are some statistics: 67% of couples argue with their significant other about money. The longer the relationship, the more money arguments. 60% of couples married for 1-2 years argue about money; if you are together 5-10 years, then your likelihood of arguing about money is 67%. Do you see the pattern here? If you thought that extended time together would decrease disputes, then you are mistaken. As seen on the Consumer Credit website (https://www.consumercredit. com/debt-resources-tools/ infographics/information/ how-does-money-affectyour-relationship/), the rate of money arguments for those in a relationship 10-20 years long is 79%, and 65% for those over 20 years committed. What do these numbers mean to you, considering they were gathered back in 2013? Where do you land among these 24 JUNE 2021
— BY TATIANA CARLSON numbers now that we are in 2021? Where do you feel your level of stress is, and where do you see that level day-in and day-out? How do you know where your conversations are leading, and how you can help yourself and your spouse have a better money life? You can learn to negotiate in better ways, and you still have time. You want to be one of those people who aren’t mentioned in the above statistics. You want to have an empowering relationship with money for yourself and your spouse. I remember walking down the aisle with my brand new, expensive (I do not even know why I bought it!) dress. I thought that my money journey was in an upward trend, which would lead to the life I wanted with the person I wanted. I only found myself coming to a crashing halt when I realized that I had given away
all my financial rights as a wife -- before I even got married --when I had signed a prenup. My heart was broken. The emotions that come up on this issue are nothing but pain and shame. I was discouraged because when I got married, money was not my highest priority, as it shouldn’t be for anyone; it was my love for this man. Fast forward to today: Yes, I have more successful money conversations with my honey that get us both what we're looking for, and the things we both need. I speak from a position of experience in pain and rejoicing. So, where do you land in the field of money, and how does it affect your relationships with yourself and with your spouse? How can you get the money you want and have great relationships? Here is where life coaching

No, really, a real note pad -- not your phone. Why? Because you will get distracted by your phone, or someone will call you. You may find the couch that you’re never going to get on Pinterest
to be more enjoyable than what you are about to do. As well, the mechanics of hand-writing help to rewire your brain, and reading a paper copy later will help you to focus and retain information better than you can in digital form. Starting on your chosen notepad (if you do not own one, get printer paper or get a sticky note), write down money goals. What do I mean by goals, you may ask? Goals are dreams or objectives to
Narrow it down to three major goals. What are the things you see being accomplished by these three goals? What can you feel? Where are you physically? What do you see in that space, and who are you celebrating yourself with? Who is celebrating you? Where are you physically, and where are you standing? Most people feel discomfort and shame around money and status. You may think to yourself, "Why do I have to

do that?" Allow me to explain, then, why you need to use the process of life coaching. Your mind is the most powerful battlefield you face. Yes, it is powerful enough to create things in your body or heal your body. It is powerful enough to see the visualization of dreams realized, and powerful enough to sustain you through the mundane daily grind. I want you to light your candles, eat your favorite chocolate, look at a bouquet you bought for yourself, and give yourself those hard-to-reach answers. If you already answered all those questions, and you feel confident your authentic self is showing up, and you can see your three goals accomplished, great! My question for you is to boil the three goals into one sentence. I know, I know! How do I do that? How do I boil down the three most important goals of my life into one? Easy. Choose the most important one of the three. Here is what only you can answer: What goal will make all others irrelevant? No, not irrelevant like they do not exist, but meaningless enough to make this first goal happen as soon as possible. We can focus on many goals; however, we

work most efficiently when we do one thing at a time— enjoying the journey of life by taking one step and working on one goal. Pick that one goal, the goal that will give you the power to take on the next layer of cake; in this case, choose a category that creates a better relationship with money. Moving on. Now you have your one goal that will make your money life better and everything else irrelevant.
What is it? What does it look like? What do you want it to be? What do you do now? Slow down. Now that you have your one goal (please pat yourself in the back and take a mini celebration; you just did a lot of emotional and mental work), please consider the following. First of all, your one goal needs to make every other area in your life irrelevant. In addition, your one goal needs to be at the
Once you are targeted, you know your direction. Set a oneweek timeline for step one of your goal. Once you have that completed, create step two and give yourself three months. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat. Remember, be forgiving of yourself and reward your small baby steps. Reward yourself when you execute your dream schedule, your actual money honoring, your authentic self.
for the extra hours per week you want with kids and honey. Finally, wrap up that one goal with the monthly number of clients you want to serve and the extra hours you plan to budget into the schedule for honey and kids. Do you see how the process works? The journey of having three primary goals, then one, then multiple parts of one is where you will find the bread crumbs that will take you to the finish line.
Do not apologize for feeling emotions but be respectful of others. Remember, we are all on a journey. Be your best self.

CRN: Thank Lady Anita, it’s an absolute pleasure to speak with you and to share some of my perspective with your readers. PGMAG: Please briefly introduce yourself to our readers. CRN: Yes of course, I am a Diverse Mental Health & Well-Being Consultant. It’s hard for me to believe, that I’ve been working in the field of mental health and well- being for over 25 years now. My work focuses on the creation of good mental health through incorporating the essential connection with one’s lived experience and diverse background. I have always been driven by my burning interest and passion in what drives us as human beings, what are the things in life which fulfil us, make us mentally healthy or unhealthy and bring us meaning? I am also a twin. This is a very special relationship. Having someone who is there for you, provides supports and accompanies you through your life’s journey is extremely powerful. This alleviates our natural condition of being alone in the world, it helps us to better cope and deal with the difficulties, which life throws at us. My fascination with the human condition, mental health and experience of being twin have shown me the huge importance, as well as the benefits of human connection, sharing, support and

whose mental health is being challenged? CRN: That’s a huge question, isn’t it? Yes, without a doubt the past 18 months has taken a substantial, physical, mental and social toll. We have had to confront, so many deep and difficult societal aspects, which have drastically impacted our mental health. I think for many people this was quite unexpected. Sadly, we have witnessed the huge and painful loss of loved ones, increased financial difficulties, the drastic restriction in contact and movement, as well as strong insecurity and fear for the future. This has been accompanied by social injustice and inequity for Black, Asian, Muslim and other people from diverse backgrounds, all fuelled by blazing anger, blame, mistrust and violence towards certain groups. It’s no wonder, that the Covid-19 Pandemic represents a traumatic event, which is leading to what is being called a global mental health crisis. This is tough; however, we humans are hugely resilient and resourceful. One of the

This gives us a greater sense of control and allows us to be intentional about how we approach a problem or threat. Of course, recognising, investing in and continually caring for our mental health is essential. So, this involves actions such as; talking with others, seeking support, taking time out, engaging in relaxation and having fun. Also acknowledging our natural fear and anxiety and dealing with this in an open and productive way. It can certainly help, if we take things step by step, focusing on realistic expectations and not
We have seen how structural, institutional and social socioeconomic status perpetuate discrimination, inequity, abuse, lack of inclusion and access. This has had a disproportionally detrimental impact on the mental and physical health for “BIPOC” and other people from diverse backgrounds. My message relates to the fact that, it is not possible to fully recognise understand, or fully meet people’s mental health needs without also addressing and meeting their diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) needs. These go hand in hand, as they constitute an essential part of who we are and how we live. I think this really points to an essential need to acknowledge and meaningful address these fundamental factors. Taking pause for thought and a step back, during crisis can be very powerful and valuable too. Allowing us time to reflect and assess our life and choices. We can get, so easily knocked off balance / track. It is then in these moments, that we can become glaringly aware of what is truly meaningful and important, motivating us to rearrange our priorities. What

My Diverse Mental Health Approach incorporates how the particular experience of women, Black people and individuals from diverse groups negatively impacts their Mental Health.
CRN: That’s the big question, isn’t it? DEI is now higher on the agenda for many organisations. We can see this is how far businesses are openly stating their commitment. People are being hired in DEI positions, in order to lead the way in bringing about a change in company culture. However, for this to be effective tokenism and performative allyship needs to end. Progress can be held back by insisting on sticking to a rigid course and not adapting.
We talk about navigating a new course following crisis. If people and businesses are to move forward, prosper and respond successfully to the demands of the situation, then actively carrying out an employer’s duty care is required. This involves real investment and support for people’s mental, physical and economic health. This must ultimately involve an individual’s diverse background and experience. An openness to different ways of doing things is an absolute necessity.

ABOUT RAIKOS GEORGIOS I have accumulated two decades of experience in executive positions ranging from Business Process Reengineering and Project Management to Compliance and Information Security, working with such multinational organizations as IBM, British Airways, ABN AMRO Bank, EFG Bank, ISACA and others. I have devoted a large part of my executive life attending international conferences, purposefully sharing knowledge with keynote speakers and brainstorming on strategy with consultants from major firms around the world. After the systemic crisis of 2010, I repositioned my energy into the active support of startup incubators and technology bootstraps in Greece and UK. PGMAG: Please briefly introduce yourself to our readers. RYL: My name is Ruth Young-Loaeza, I am the CEO & Founder of Genius On Development. I am the inventor of NEET Sheets, I’m also a bestselling author, and International bestselling author in 1HABIT Book Series. I’m an innovator, a dreamer, a pioneer, and a woman that believes in God and in his miracles a 100%

PGMAG: As a leader, what are the three most important habits that one needs to cultivate in order to achieve one’s goals in life? RYL: Reliance (Faith) Resilient (Strong) Reaction (Action) Practice this every day, and there is no way your life will remain the same. PGMAG: Considering the current global challenge (Covid-19), what do you think are the role of women in shaping the future of business? RYL: I believe that this role has been taken by women since the beginning of times, way before COVID-19 existed.
myself involved in a domestic violence where I nearly lose my life twice. I have been homeless after a car accident that left me unable to work, and my day job was as a housekeeper for about 23 years.
The difference is that now women can take ownership of it, these “modern times” has given women more rights and resources than ever before. Also, the current socio-political environment has allowed more backing to be available for women, and therefore we have a bit more advantages we can use to shape our businesses than ever before. We still have a long way to go in this field, but as a business woman I can tell you that we still have to contend with
diverse challenges in order to do exactly that, shape the future of business. PGMAG: What is your message for women of the world? RYL: Nothing can stop you except yourself! Yes, something may get delay because of children, work, a fail or stressful relationship, tragedy, health issues or you fill in the blank. PGMAG: Please tell us more about NEET Sheets. RYL: NEET Sheets is innovative bed linen that addresses the stressful and difficult task of bed-making. As a former housekeeper, I had done the beds about twenty thousand times more or less! Through that experience, I was able to clearly identify why most of the bedsheets out there are a headache for the user. But it was during the period of homelessness while recuperating from the accident, that I had the time to focus on those many ideas that I come out with while cleaning houses, so I created simple prototypes and drawings and NEET Sheets came to life finally. PGMAG: what would you say to someone who is at a crossroad (point of making vital decisions)? RYL: I always consider all of the outcomes, and I chose the one I consider the safest… then I stop to think, what will happen if I don’t do it? AND I also think what will happen if I do? There are no hard business decisions for me because one day I’m going to die, and I won’t

have any regrets in this regard! But remember “consider all of the outcomes and chose the safest” (but there are no guarantees). PGMAG: How do you create work/life balance? RYL: I pray, pray, pray!!! Every day, all day. I stay connected with the source of energy, wisdom, knowledge, strength, power, connections, the creator of everything! It works for me. I listen to preaching, inspirational messages, I surround myself
with amazing, powerful, achievers, positive, influencers, and people of vision and faith! PGMAG: Domestic violence has hindered so many women from moving forward in life. What is your message for those going through such difficulties? RYL: I won’t keep it to myself ever again as I used to because I was embarrassed, I was afraid of what people might think, and because I didn’t want anyone to feel sorry for me.
A hardworking woman that isn’t expecting anything less of a miracle for her life. I love God, my family, my life, every single day I live, my grandchildren are what makes me melt like a popsicle under the sun! The Business gives me the thrill and chills that I enjoy feeling every day! Even if you don’t have children in the relationship, YOU DO NOT DESERVE to be abuse!!! Many times, we are blinded by many reasons but in the end you won't find one good reason to justify the abuse, SO LEAVE and LIVE your life! It is so amazing to not live in fear, to not be wondering how you can enjoy the day with the threat of being hurt if you do something “wrong”. LEAVE AND LIVE!!! PGMAG: What would you say
to your younger self? RYL: YES YOU CAN! You are equipped, capable, smart, beautiful, intelligent, amazing, fun, loveable, incredible… I would spend hours, days, telling Ruth the opposite of what she heard for many years!!!
PGMAG: Thank you for your time – much appreciated RYL: Lady Anita, THANK YOU for allowing me to share a little bit about me with you and your audience! God bless you and all of your endeavours!
PGMAG: Finally, how would you describe yourself?
PGMAG: Please share your links with us.
RYL: Dearing, focus, faithful, sometimes naïve, trustworthy, loving, a bit crazy, always testing my limits!

Empowerment and Purpose Through Flow All of us—particularly women—are seeking our Life Purpose and seeking personal Empowerment. They may seem lofty goals, but in fact, I see them as our birthright.
A
— BY ILENE DILLON, M.S.W.
s a person who has practiced as a psychotherapist for the past 50 years, and as a Recovered Angry Person, it’s my observation that what has kept any of us from knowing our Life Purpose or living Empowered lives is our lack of knowledge regarding emotions. Emotions are energy. E-motions, “energy in motion.” They are very simple, loyal creatures
that have been given to us humans as a gift. Their true purpose is to help us more easily navigate our lives. Since emotions are energy, they follow the Laws that govern energy. Emotions can’t be created nor destroyed, we can’t get rid of them, though they can be directed. If we block their movement they will build up behind the blockage, gaining in volume and strength. Even as they gain volume

When we hold onto one emotion, we tend to hold onto all of them. If we repress or harbor anger, we also are not as free to love, feel joy or happiness as we could otherwise be. and strength, they constantly seek to escape from the blockage, sometimes causing problems through their efforts to move. You and I work to block emotions we don’t want ourselves or others to know we’re experiencing, attempting to hide emotions like hurt, fear, jealousy, guilt or anger. We don’t realize that we can hurt ourselves by doing this. Anger, held onto long enough, can actually kill us. Anger poisons the vessel in which it is held… us. Furthermore, when we hold onto one emotion, we tend to hold onto all of them. If we repress or harbor anger, we also are not as free to love, feel joy or happiness as we could otherwise be. Emotions develop in the first

seven years of life. They are with us, birth to death, and 24/7/365. To have them that omnipresent in all of our lives, they must be important! They are! Most of us have not learned how to work with them, however. After years of studying emotions, healing my emotional life and helping thousands of others, I’ve come to this understanding. We are all in a Giant School (earth). We come here as part of a grand experiment being conducted in the Universe. Though we are all connected (all one) through consciousness, almost all of
us arrive in separate bodies. We’re like the Mars Rover, landing on a distant planet, staying here for a while and encountering the parts of life we find, reacting to what we find, and the information is sent “home” to be compiled with information from all the other human beings. Our focus is on “love” and “not love.” What can we learn about love, by experiencing both sides of the duality? We don’t have to do the learning; but when we don’t learn, we go over and over and over the same lesson, often with a different cast of
How do we learn in this school? Our teacher’s name is Experience. Every time we have an experience, it is an opportunity for us to learn something. For the learning, we have emotions. They rise up in us when we have experiences. Each emotion has a message for us, a hint or direction that nudges us regarding where to look for resolving our experiences, challenges and pain. Love’s message is “come closer.” Loneliness says “you have more energy going out than coming back in. Bring in more energy, now!” Jealousy says “get more creative.” (For an annotated listing of 12 common emotions, consult my book: Emotions in Motion: Mastering Life’s Builtin Navigation System, https:// tinyurl.com/yedb6565) Our job is to take these messages
We don’t have to do the learning; but when we don’t learn, we go over and over and over the same lesson, often with a different cast of characters but with the same plot. With every repeat, we feel more pain. and apply them to our circumstance, healing our pain, hurt, and disruption. So now you have the experience and the emotion(s), how do you put them together? Just ask. When you have an experience, ask out loud: “What could I possibly be trying to teach myself by having this experience?” You can also add: “I’m ready to learn this lesson, whatever it takes. Please help me.” When you get your answers, take action and move through your challenge. Every time you successfully learn a lesson in your life, it makes learning the next lessons easier! One reason is that you drop resistance to learning, freeing up some of your energy. Another is that once you learn your lesson, the
energy of the accompanying emotions moves on. As it does so, it allows other emotions more freedom to move. Done long enough, it opens wide the door to FLOW. Being in FLOW allows us greater creativity, more spontaneity and joy, ingredients we need to have to help us identify our Purpose. As we start living more following our Life Purpose, we become more Empowered. I began my life as a victim, ill (at age 6 months) with a lifethreatening disease yet left to the mercy of my babysitter seeking medical care for me. Removed from my mother as a toddler, abused in almost every way, and moving constantly in my military family. Working my way through college, I completed a Master’s degree. Early marriage (age 19), two divorces, 20 years of single parenthood with precious little financial support outside of myself. I share this not to shock or gain pity, but to contrast with what learning how to become an Emotional Master has done for me and my life. Now in my late-70’s, I’m helping others, writing books, and roaming North America alone in my RV. I’m a global speaker,

characters but with the same plot. With every repeat, we feel more pain. It’s mother nature’s way of pushing us to learn. If you have constantly repeating patterns in your life, this is your deeper self telling you that you have not yet learned your lesson! The very good news is this: The instant you complete your lesson, you are finished. That lesson is complete and doesn’t reappear!

and an Amazon International Best-selling author (The Wellness Universe Guide to Complete Self Care: 25 Tools for Self Care, Happiness and Achievement—Volumes 1, 2 and 3). I’m in excellent health, and I no longer “do” anger, guilt, fear, jealousy, loneliness or shame. We cannot get rid of emotions, but we can seriously reduce the amount of space they take up inside of us. I’m sure I’ve gone through so much just so I can relate to, and speak to, the many issues,
problems and challenges others experience. I know what it feels like to be molested (and heal from it), for example. It’s a gift to me, and to those I can help, to have had the experience and developed empathy and understanding. For everyone reading this article, if you have issues that are plaguing you, are not fully empowered, are still searching for your purpose, exhibit symptoms of PTSD, experience overwhelming fear or anger, or feel constantly stressed
because you’re not living the life you know you can lead, I have felt what you are feeling. My message: Developing your ability to get into FLOW by using the emotions you feel to guide you through your life challenges, learning the lessons of your experiences, and releasing emotional energy you no longer need, these things will lead you to your ideal life.

Powerful Global Women Foundation (Powerhouse Charity) was founded in 20l6 in Nigeria, West Africa, by Lady Anita Duckworth-Bradshaw. The core objective of this organization is to transform the lives of women and children, through various projects centred around the need of the service group. In 20l6 Lady Anita single handedly fed over 400 children as part of “project feed l000 children globally”, and held an empowerment conference for the women. Through this project, so many women have gone to do great things with the knowledge they gained from the event. She recently held a life transforming event for women in Lagos, Nigeria as part of International women’s month celebration 20l8. The turnout was very encouraging. She is working towards supporting more families to keep their children and wards in school through” project back-to-school” starting in September 20l8. We are seeking for global support from individuals and organisations who would love to be a part of this service to humanity.
