A ospitare la cerimonia di premiazione dei Campionati CIK-FIA è stata la città di Parigi, che ha celebrato la stagione internazionale del Karting con i suoi Campioni 2015, ai quali hanno dato il loro benvenuto il Presidente FIA Jean Todt, il Presidente CIK-FIA Abdulla Bin Isa Al Khalifa e il Vicepresidente Kees van de Grint. Nel Galà ufficiale che si è svolto sabato 19 dicembre è stato il promoter Luca de Donno, Presidente di WSK Promotion, a fare gli onori di casa, tracciando il bilancio della stagione appena conclusa. Un lavoro organizzativo ancora una volta impegnativo, portato a termine grazie al comune intento di far progredire il mondo del Karting.
THE CIK-FIA CHAMPIONSHIPS AWARDS CEREMONY
The city of Paris hosted the CIK-FIA Championships awards ceremony, which celebrated the international Karting season with its 2015 Champions, who were welcomed by the FIA President Jean Todt, the CIK-FIA President Abdulla Bin Isa Al Khalifa and Vice-President Kees van de Grint. The Promoter Luca De Donno, Chairman of WSK Promotion, did the honours at the official gala, which took place on Saturday, 19th December, with a review of the season that had just drawn to a close. It had once again been a challenging organisational experience, completed thanks to the common goal of achieving progress in the world of Karting.

IL MONDO DEL KARTING CRESCE ANCORA. Nel suo intervento, il Presidente Todt non ha mancato di elogiare il lavoro svolto in questa ultima stagione, auspicando ulteriori progressi in questa disciplina del motorsport. Progressi che non hanno sosta, come dimostra l’introduzione delle nuove motorizzazioni OK, unità di nuova concezione, protagoniste dal 2016.
SFILATA SUL PODIO DI PARIGI. Sono stati quindi i Campioni 2015 a impossessarsi della scena, a incominciare dalla teenager spagnola Marta Garcia Lopez, che ha ricevuto il riconoscimento della Women in Motorsport Commission subito prima di essere premiata quale vincitrice del CIK-FIA Karting Academy Trophy, davanti ai connazionali Xavier Lloveras Brunet e Alejandro Lahoz Lopez. Ad alternarsi nella consegna dei premi, oltre ai Presidenti Todt e Al Khalifa e al Vice Presidente van de Grint, sono stati il Segretario Generale Kay Oberheide e i membri CIK-FIA presenti al Galà parigino. La festa è stata tutta per i Campioni di ogni categoria, con il polacco Karol Basz, vincitore a Muro Leccese del Mondiale KF davanti a Jordon Lennox-Lamb e Nicklas Nielsen, insieme all’americano Logan Sargeant, iridato KFJ davanti a Clément Novalak e Caio Collet. Quindi il Campione del Mondo KZ, l’olandese Jorrit Pex, trionfatore a Le Mans su Paolo De Conto e Arnaud Kozlinski, insieme al vincitore della KZ2 International Super Cup, il francese Thomas Laurent.
THE WORLD OF KARTING EXPANDS AGAIN. In his speech, President Todt did not fail to praise the work done during this latest season, hoping for further progress in this branch of motorsport. Non-stop progress, as shown by the introduction of the new OK engines, advanced units, stars starting from 2016.
PODIUM PARADE IN PARIS. The 2015 Champions took centre stage, beginning with Spanish teenager Marta Garcia Lopez, who received the Women in Motorsport Commission award immediately before receiving an award for having won the CIK-FIA Karting Academy Trophy, ahead of compatriots Xavier Lloveras Brunet and Alejandro Lahoz Lopez. In addition to the Presidents Todt and Al Khalifa and Vice President van de Grint, the General Secretary Kay Oberheide and other members of the CIK-FIA present at the Gala in Paris presented the awards. The party was dedicated to the Champions in all classes, with Poland’s Karol Basz, winner of the KF World Championship in Muro Leccese ahead of Jordon Lennox-Lamb and Nicklas Nielsen, together with American Logan Sargeant, KFJ winner ahead of Clément Novalak and Caio Collet. Then it was the turn of the KZ World Champion, Dutchman Jorrit Pex, who won at Le Mans ahead of Paolo De Conto and Arnaud Kozlinski, together with the winner of the KZ2 International Super Cup, Frenchman Laurent Thomas.

TUTTI I CAMPIONI IN PARATA. A Parigi sono stati consegnati i premi destinati a tutti i Campioni Europei, Joel Johansson (KZ2), Christian Lundgaard (KFJ), Ben Hanley (KF) e Flavio Camponeschi (KZ). Quindi i Campioni AsiaPacifico Haruyuki Takahashi (KF) e Lorenzo Camplese (KZ), insieme a Campione Europeo Superkart Adam Kout.
PREMI SPECIALI. Un riconoscimento speciale è andato a Birel, in onore del lungo e rilevante contributo dato al Karting dal costruttore italiano. Per il miglior evento del 2015 il premio è stato conferito agli organizzatori del circuito inglese PF International, mentre il premio alla fotografia più interessante della stagione è stato assegnato al francese Frederic Billet dell’agenzia KSP.
ALL THE CHAMPIONS ON PARADE. The awards for all the European Champions, Joel Johansson (KZ2), Christian Lundgaard (KFJ), Ben Hanley (KF) and Flavio Camponeschi (KZ) were presented in Paris. Then, it was the turn of the Asia-Pacific Champions Haruyuki Takahashi (KF) and Lorenzo Camplese (KZ), together with European Superkart Champion Adam Kout.
SPECIAL AWARDS. A special award went to Birel, in honour of the long and significant contribution to Karting provided by the Italian manufacturer. The best event of 2015 award was presented to the organisers of the English PF International circuit, while the award for the most interesting picture of the season was presented to Frenchman Frederic Billet of KSP agency.
