PAOLO DE CONTO con CRG aveva sfiorato il titolo nel Campionato del Mondo KZ nel 2015 a Le Mans, ma il suo sogno di diventare Campione del Mondo lo ha raggiunto in Svezia nel 2016 a Kristianstad vincendo alla grande e con merito il suo primo titolo iridato su CRG-TM-Vega. Una vittoria ineccepibile quella ottenuta da Paolo De Conto in Svezia, ma combattuta specialmente nella prima parte della Finale. Nella sua carriera Paolo De Conto nel 2011 è stato Campione Europeo in KZ1 e vincitore della WSK Master Series KZ1, nel 2010 Campione Europeo KZ2 e vincitore della WSK Euro Series KZ2.
PAOLO DE CONTO racing for CRG just missed out winning the KZ World Championship in 2015 in Le Mans, but he achieved his dream of becoming World Champion in Sweden in 2016 in Kristianstad, winning his first world title with CRG-TM-Vega, and deservedly so. A flawless victory for Paolo De Conto in Sweden which was, however, hard fought, especially in the first part of the Final. During his career, Paolo De Conto was KZ1 European Champion in 2011 and winner of the WSK Master Series also in KZ1, European KZ2 Champion in 2010 and winner of the WSK Euro Series in KZ2.

PEDRO HILTBRAND si è imposto in Svezia nell’evento internazionale più prestigioso della CIK-FIA per la KZ2, la International Super Cup, conquistando per la CRG un clamoroso en-plein nel doppio impegno iridato di Kristianstad con il contemporaneo successo del suo compagno di squadra Paolo De Conto in KZ. Pedro Hiltbrand con questa vittoria in Svezia ottenuta su CRG-Maxter-Vega, ha sommato il suo secondo titolo CIK-FIA vinto nella stagione dopo il Campionato Europeo OK conquistato un mese prima a Genk su CRG-Parilla-Vega.
PEDRO HILTBRAND made his presence felt in Sweden in the most prestigious event for the CIK-FIA KZ2 class, the International Super Cup, taking a sensational victory for CRG in Kristianstad, with the accompanying success of his team-mate Paolo De Conto in KZ. With this victory in Sweden achieved aboard a CRG-Maxter-Vega, Pedro Hiltbrand added his second CIK-FIA title for the season after winning the OK European Championship a month earlier in Genk with a CRG-Parilla-Vega combination.

CALLUM BRADSHAW è riuscito ad aggiudicarsi il titolo nel combattuto CIK-FIA Karting Academy Trophy che quest’anno usufruisce del supporto tecnico di OTK Group con i telai Exprit e motori Vortex forniti a tutti i piloti di questa categoria monomarca. Il giovane Bradshaw ha vinto il Trofeo Academy grazie al successo nel primo dei tre appuntamenti in Francia a Essay, confermandosi poi fra i migliori in assoluto anche in Portogallo con il secondo posto. Si è confermato campione in Svezia con il quarto posto nonostante abbia dovuto scartare come da regolamento questo peggior punteggio.
CALLUM BRADSHAW managed to win the title in the hard-fought CIK-FIA Karting Academy Trophy, which this year had the technical support of the OTK Group with Exprit chassis and Vortex engines supplied to all drivers of this single-make category. The young English driver Bradshaw won the Academy Trophy thanks to largely to his success in the first of three events in Essay in France, and then continuing his great form by being among the best drivers in Portugal with second place. He became the champion in Sweden with a fourth place despite having had to discard this race, as per the regulations, as his worst performance.
