Desde finales de junio volaremos hasta allí de manera regular, uniendo este destino a los dos a los que también operamos en la isla: Santo Domingo y Punta Cana.
Asimismo, hemos habilitado más de 51.000 plazas adicionales en nuestros vuelos al norte del continente africano. Desde el aeropuerto de Madrid-Barajas y hasta octubre, retomamos nuestra actividad con Marrakech y Túnez. Por otra parte, desde finales de marzo, hemos recuperado nuestros vuelos a Tel Aviv, uno de nuestros destinos históricos desde hace casi una década. El inicio del conflicto bélico el pasado mes de octubre nos llevó a suspender temporalmente la actividad, pero volvemos a activarla, algo especialmente importante para las conexiones con América. A todo este fuerte impulso a la operativa de la aerolínea, nos alegra añadir el hecho de que estamos llevando a cabo una prueba piloto para incorporar un nuevo sistema para la gestión digital de la documentación de las mascotas a bordo. Como parte de nuestro esfuerzo por innovar en cada aspecto de nuestra actividad, nos hemos aliado con la empresa líder en este terreno, Appmypets – Digital Pet ID, para convertirnos en la primera empresa del sector certificada como pet friendly. One of Air Europa’s key principles is giving our customers maximum choice, and we are delighted that this of course means more destinations. For this reason, and in line with our expansion strategy, this year we continue to add new options to further expand our range, strengthening our connections on offer both within Spain and beyond, with Europe, America, and North Africa.
With a view to the upcoming summer season, we have been working tirelessly to provide you with more flights and, above all, more cities to fly to. Such is the case, for example, with Santiago de los Caballeros, the Dominican Republic’s second most important city, and the location of a large part of the industry dedicated to the country’s key products. From the end of June, we will be flying there on a regular basis, linking this destination to the two we have also been serving on the island for years: Santo Domingo and Punta Cana.
We have also made more than 51,000 additional seats available on our flights to the north of Africa. From Madrid-Barajas airport and until October, we have resumed our activity with Marrakech and Tunis. Nor can we forget that, since the end of March, we have resumed normal flights to Tel Aviv, which has been one of our historic destinations for almost a decade. In addition to this strong boost to the airline’s operations, we are delighted to add the fact that we are piloting a new system for the digital management of in-flight pet documentation. As part of our efforts to innovate in every aspect of our business, we have teamed up with the leading company in this field, Appmypets - Digital Pet ID, to become the first company in the sector certified as “pet friendly”. Inmensos campos surcados por inquietantes dibujos geométricos, así como figuras con formas animales y humanas, intervienen el paisaje desértico natural a modo de diseños de carácter mágico de las sociedades prehispánicas. Descubiertas en 1927, aunque ya existen referencias en 1547 del conquistador Pedro Cieza de León, la mejor manera para contemplarlas, subir a las cercanas montañas, a las torres de observación y, por supuesto, vivir la aventura en avioneta.
ENG There are works made by man that, despite being thousands of years old, never cease to fascinate for their spectacular appearance and the mystery they contain. Like the Nasca and Palpa lines and geoglyphs (south of Lima) dating back to the Nazca culture (100 AD - 600 AD), which are now celebrating 30 years since being listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Immense expanses of land crisscrossed by disturbing geometric drawings, as well as figures with animal and human forms drawn in the natural desert landscape as magical designs of pre-Hispanic societies. They were discovered in 1927, although there are already references to them in 1547 by conqueror Pedro Cieza de León. The best way to see them is to climb the nearby mountains or observation towers or, of course, you can have the adventure of flying over them in a light aircraft.

El arquitecto e ingeniero Paul Andreu (1938-2018) fue un genio mucho antes de que se le reconociera como tal. Con tan solo 29 años diseñó la nueva Terminal 1 del aeropuerto Paris-Nord (actual Charles de Gaulle) y, desde entonces, se le conoció como el gran creador de aeropuertos del mundo. Tras este edificio, vinieron otros 50, como el aeropuerto de París-Orly, el Soekarno-Hatta de Yakarta, el de Abu Dhabi, el de Dubái, Manila, El Cairo, Brunéi… Pero Andreu también dejó huella en la arquitectura patrimonial, como el Arco de la Defensa de París, el museo marítimo de Osaka o el Gran Teatro Nacional de China en la plaza de Tiananmen de Pekín (en la foto). Ahora la Cité de l’architecture et du patrimoine en París le rinde homenaje con su mayor retrospectiva: Paul Andreu. L’architecture est un art (la arquitectura es un arte). With his wife he would go to Tschuggen Grand Hotel in Arosa (Switzerland): “It’s exceptional, right up there in the mountains”.

Fue en 2015 cuando Sonia Sánchez (Madrid, 1976) llegó a Miami. Había ejercido la abogacía, pero el color imperioso de esta ciudad la llevó a despertar el lado artístico que tenía adormecido. BySonja, como se hace llamar, arrancó “ilustrando cuentos y haciendo murales” y ahora es maestra de arte “en Key Biscayne, una bella isla en frente del Downtown de Miami llena de naturaleza”. Y esto se plasta en su obra pictórica, repleta de conciencia sostenible y siluetas zoomorfe. “Miami me ayudó a concienciarme de lo importante que es cuidar a nuestro planeta”.
Uno de sus sitios preferidos en la ciudad es la playa de Miami Beach: “Aparco mi coche cerca de Lincoln Road, la camino hacia la playa, estoy allí, alquilo mi hamaca y sobre las cinco de la tarde me voy a cenar al dinner de la calle 11st con Washington. Es uno de los restaurantes más antiguos de Miami Beach, se conserva como en los años 50".

This is how she makes the most of the "more than 10 months of summer a year that we have".
Sonia Sánchez (Madrid, 1976) arrived in Miami in 2015. Though she had previously practiced law, the vibrant colour of the city awoke her dormant artistic side. BySonja, as she calls herself, started out "illustrating stories and making murals" and is now an art teacher "on Key Biscayne, a beautiful island by Downtown Miami that’s full of nature". And this is reflected in her paintings, which are full of sustainable awareness and zoomorphic silhouettes. "Miami helped me realise how important it is to take care of our planet.
One of her favourite places in the city is Miami Beach: "I park my car near Lincoln Road, I walk to the beach, I get there, I rent my hammock and around five in the evening I go to dinner at the diner on 11th and Washington. It's one of the oldest restaurants in Miami Beach, and it's just like it was in the 1950s".

En Cádiz, la tierra natal de Kiko&Shara, la escuela de música más genuina es la de las comparsas de su carnaval, donde estos dos hermanos comenzaron a dar lo mejor de su arte. De ahí, Kiko pasó a formar parte del grupo Los Caños y, hacia el año 2000, surgió la idea de crear el dúo, siendo prácticamente unos adolescentes. Poco a poco, fueron forjando una sólida carrera en la que han obtenido varios discos de oro y platino y ahora, en un paso más, han decidido tomar el control absoluto de su visión artística. Fruto de ello son las colaboraciones con artistas como Andy y Lucas y Galván Real para grabar nuevas versiones de algunos de sus éxitos, que suman más de 15 millones de escuchas en plataformas digitales, y la gira con la que este año recorrerán todo el país.
¿Es más fácil trabajar junto siendo hermanos? Nos hemos tenido que conocer, comprender, mejorar y aprender en todo, tanto a nivel profesional como personal. En el escenario somos un 50-50, los dos somos unos torbellinos, nos encanta disfrutar. >
¿Cómo definirían su estilo?
Tenemos la esencia de Andalucía, nuestras raíces, que se reflejan en nuestro estilo de cantar. Nos gusta probar nuevos sonidos y reinventarnos, pero sin perder nuestra esencia. Quien nos conoce, nos califica dentro del pop-rock andaluz.
Han afirmado que su sueño sería sacar un disco en vinilo. ¿Qué tiene de especial ese formato?
Cuando empezamos hace veinte años, la música se comercializaba de otra manera. Echamos mucho de menos un formato físico y es algo que siempre nos hizo ilusión. Ahora que cumplimos veinte años, tenemos en mente hacer un disco recopilatorio.
Terminaron el año pasado con De qué mevale, tema en el que han contado con la colaboración de Andy y Lucas. Andy y Lucas son grandes artistas de nuestra tierra, grandes amigos de toda la vida y nos alegramos muchísimo de sus éxitos. La verdad es que estamos muy agradecidos, creemos que ha quedado una canción muy bonita, con mucha magia.
¿Cómo se preparan para afrontar la gira?
Nos preparamos haciendo deporte, cuidándonos la garganta (no cogiendo frío, calentando la voz). Hacemos unos buenos ensayos y cuidamos todo al milímetro, somos muy obsesivos.
¿Qué hacen durante los viajes?
Cuando podemos, nos gusta viajar con nuestros músicos, creemos que la unión del equipo hace que todo sea más fácil.
¿Hay algún objeto que siempre llevan consigo?
Nos gusta quedarnos solos en el camerino unos quince minutos antes del concierto y calentar las voces. En cuanto al equipaje, Shara es siempre la que lleva más maletas. Yo soy más sencillo, no me gusta cargar mucho.
ENG In Cádiz, Kiko&Shara's homeland, the most authentic school of music comes from the "comparsas" (carnival groups), where the siblings themselves set out on their musical journey. From there, Kiko went on to join Los Caños and, around the year 2000, the idea of forming a duo came about when they were still practically teenagers. Slowly but surely, they’ve forged a solid career which has seen them achieve several gold and platinum records and now, moving on to the next step, they’ve decided to take full control of their own artistic vision. This has resulted in collaborations with artists such as Andy y Lucas and Galván Real, recording new versions of some of their hits, which have been streamed more than 15 million times on digital platforms, plus a nationwide tour this year.
Is it easier to work together because you’re siblings?
We’ve had to get to know each other, understand each other, improve, and learn about everything, both professionally and personally. On stage we’re 50-50, we’re both absolute whirlwinds, we love to have a good time.
How would you define your style?
You can hear the spirit of Andalusia, our roots, in the way we sing. We like trying out new sounds and to keep reinventing ourselves, but without giving up any of our essence. Anyone who’s heard us would describe us as part of the Andalusian pop-rock scene.
You’ve said that your dream would be to release an album on vinyl. What’s so special about that format?
When we first started out twenty years ago, music was marketed very differently. We really miss having that physical format and it's something we’ve always dreamed about. Now that we're celebrating our twentieth anniversary, we're thinking of making a compilation album.
You rounded off last year with De qué me vale, a song you collaborated on with Andy and Lucas.
Andy and Lucas are great artists from our part of the world, great, lifelong friends and we’re thrilled about of all their success. We’re really pleased, we think the song has turned out beautifully, it's very special.
How are you gearing up for the tour?
We’re getting ready by doing sport, taking care of our throats (no catching colds, doing vocal warm-ups). We do proper rehearsals, and we pay attention to everything, right down to the tiniest detail - we’re extremely meticulous.
Is there anything you always take with you?
We like to be alone in the dressing room for about fifteen minutes before the concert to warm up our voices. As far as luggage is concerned, Shara is always the one who takes the most. I'm far simpler, I don't like to carry too much around.

An Andean landscape facing the glacier
Sólo los alpinistas mejor dotados han culminado los 5.280 metros de este volcán activo rematado por un glaciar. El resto, nos conformamos con admirar su silueta cónica contra el cielo desde la orilla de “los ríos que arrastran consigo montañas”, como escribió Ospina. Estos ríos furiosos, los lagos cristalinos y los bosques andinos son la materia prima de Los Nevados, el Parque que rodea el pico. Un paisaje tan inesperado como el propio significado de “tolima” en panche: una nube o un río de nieve.

Pirate island
Los piratas comandados por Henry Morgan en el siglo XVII escondieron sus tesoros aquí, tras la tercera barrera de coral más grande del planeta. A un mundo de distancia de Bogotá, a 220 kilómetros de la costa nicaragüense, su paisaje es el de la más clásica postal del Caribe: palmeras acostadas y playas vírgenes en Johnny Cay o en la isla desierta de Cayo Bolívar, además de una cultura propia inesperada con coros de góspel y platos como el rondón: marisco, plátano y leche de coco.

A whole world away from Bogotá, 220 kilometres from the Nicaraguan coast, the landscape is the same as the most classic postcard from the Caribbean, featuring horizontal palm trees and pristine beaches in Johnny Cay or on the deserted island of Cayo Bolívar. The island has an amazing culture of its own, with gospel choirs and dishes like “rondón”, made with seafood, banana and coconut milk.
The river that blushes

The magical homeland of downpours

RÍO MAGDALENA / MAGDALENA RIVER
Colombia’s icon
Magdalena es el río emblema de Colombia, el que la recorre entera y crea un alargado valle desde Huila hasta su desembocadura en el Caribe. A pesar de que cruza populosas ciudades como Mompox y Barranquilla, sus orillas son un espectáculo vegetal y faunístico en el que reinan las heliconias. Al final de su camino, crea el Delta Estuario del Río Magdalena, 40.000 hectáreas de naturaleza pura habitadas por ranas mono, tortugas, rayas y bocachicos.
// ENG Magdalena is Colombia’s iconic river, running through the country and creating an elongated valley from Huila all the way to its mouth in the Caribbean. Although it crosses heavily populated cities like Mompox and Barranquilla, the riverside is a spectacle of plant and animal life where heliconias reign supreme. Swimming with 500 sharks
A 500 kilómetros al oeste del continente, este afloramiento rocoso declarado Patrimonio de la Humanidad es un paraíso para los buceadores amantes de los tiburones. Monserrat Pons lleva 40 años viajando y recopilando higueras de todo el mundo. Su plantación se pierde en el horizonte, y entre ellas se salpican las 240 variedades que se dan en las islas Baleares. Sin embargo, hay un pequeño recinto amurallado que guarda “lo mejor de cada casa”. Una especie de museo en el que Monserrat ha ido atesorando a lo largo de los años variedades de higueras emblemáticas como aquellas a cuya sombra escribieron escritores y poetas como Miguel Hernández, que lo hizo bajo la variedad llamada Pajarera; o Federico García Lorca, que escogió la Breva, mientras que Rosalía de Castro se inspiraba a la sombra de la higuera gallega Migueles. También está la variedad Getsemaní, que acompañó a Jesucristo en el Monte del Calvario, el Monte de los Olivos y el Huerto de Getsemaní. A su lado crece la Higo Negro, autóctona de Bolivia y testigo del fusilamiento de Ernesto Che Guevara; y unos metros más allá, aparece la milenaria de Bodhi o árbol de la sabiduría, higuera sagrada del budismo, bajo la cual el Buda Siddhartha alcanzó la iluminación divina. En su tronco, se apoya la imagen de Buda envuelta en una tela anaranjada. Retal que los monjes cambian una vez al mes, cuando la visitan y meditan a su vera.
La profesión de farmacéutico del propietario ha sido un factor decisivo a la hora de convertir Son Mut Nou en un campo experimental donde estudiar y promover la investigación científica de la higuera. Un árbol íntimamente ligado a la civilización mediterránea, a la tierra mallorquina de Monserrat Pons y también a su propia experiencia vital. Su higuera más pasional es la de un querido amigo que tenía un jardín en Crimea y murió en el primer bombardeo de la guerra. A Son Mut Nou han llegado personajes ilustres movidos por el original proyecto, desde la chef Carme Ruscalleda a la primera dama de Malasia, amante del árbol de la higuera y asidua visitante a la plantación.
El sabor dulce y meloso de su fruto, el higo, ha cautivado el paladar de grandes filósofos, pues se dice que tanto Platón como Diógenes eran amantes del fruto de la higuera, al que por otro lado se le otorga propiedades nutritivas, ya que es rico en vitamina B6, vitamina C y fibra.
Hay que tener en cuenta también el aspecto gastronómico del higo: “Nos defendemos económicamente en verano cuando viene la gente a recolectar higos. Les damos una cesta y la posibilidad de pasar un día agradable y diferente cogiendo los higos que más les gusten”,
dice Monserrat, a la vez que muestra orgulloso la tienda donde el higo se ha transformado en chutney, mostaza, paté, cerveza, vino, cava, mermelada o el manjar mimado de Mallorca, su pan de higos. “El producto estrella es el café de higo, dejamos el fruto 18 días secándose al sol, y luego pasa al horno. Este proceso nos lo hace nuestro vecino Andreu Genestra, estrella verde Michelin, gran amigo, gran chef y mi cliente. Andreu utiliza el higo en su cocina para salsas o postres”. El café de higo tiene un ligero sabor a regaliz y la ventaja de no tener cafeína, mientras que el té se elabora con hojas de higuera y canela. La obra de Monserrat Pons en Son Mut Nou descubre la importancia del fruto de la higuera en la cultura mallorquina. “Fray Junipero Serra se llevó de aquí, de Mallorca a California, la higuera que hoy se llama Franciscana”, asegura. Y es que la higuera no es solamente un árbol, es legado e historia.
ENG Pharmacist by profession and amateur botanist in his spare time, Monserrat Pons (Llucmajor, 1953) dreamed of what’s now a fascinating reality: “I began collecting Majorcan fig trees, native to my homeland. What started as a hobby has now turned into a real passion. Now I’ve got 3,200 children from 1,436 varieties and 64 countries, and I can tell you about each one’s history, problems and joys”. It’s the world’s biggest collection of fig trees and it’s on the Son Mut Nou farm in Marina de Llucmajor, Majorca. Monserrat Pons has been travelling and collecting fig trees from all over the world for 40 years. His plantation stretches off into the horizon and dotted here and there are the 240 varieties native to the Balearic Islands. However, there’s also a small walled enclosure where he keeps “the best of every batch”. This is a museum of sorts where, over
the years, Monserrat has been treasuring iconic fig varieties, including trees that provided shade for writers and poets like Miguel Hernández, who sat and wrote beneath the variety known as Pajarera. Federico García Lorca chose the Breva, while Rosalía de Castro was inspired by the shade of the Migueles fig tree, native to Galicia. The collection includes the Gethsemane variety, which would have been growing on Mount Calvary and the Mount of Olives as well as in the Garden of Gethsemane during Jesus’s time. Next to it is the Black Fig, native to Bolivia and witness to the shooting of Ernesto Che Guevara. Only a few metres away, the ancient Bodhi or tree of wisdom is the sacred fig tree of Buddhism, under which the Buddha Siddhartha reached divine enlightenment. An image of Buddha wrapped in an orange cloth rests against its trunk. The monks change the cloth once a month, when they visit it and meditate next to it.
The owner’s profession as a pharmacist was a decisive factor in turning Son Mut Nou into an experimental farm to study and promote scientific research on fig trees. The fig tree has intimate connections to Mediterranean civilisation, to Monserrat Pons’ homeland of Majorca and to his own life experience. His most emotive fig tree is that of a dear friend who had a garden in Crimea and was killed in the first bombing raid of the war. Illustrious figures have

come to Son Mut Nou attracted by the original project, from chef Carme Ruscalleda to the first lady of Malaysia, a lover of fig trees and a regular visitor to the plantation.
The sweet, honeyed taste of figs has captivated the palate of great philosophers; it’s said that both Plato and Diogenes loved figs, which also have a series of nutritional properties as they’re rich in vitamin B6, vitamin C and fibre.
The gastronomy aspect of figs can’t be ignored either: “We do quite well financially in the summer when people come here to pick figs. We give them a basket and the chance to spend a pleasant and different kind of day picking the figs they like the most” says Monserrat, as he proudly shows the farm shop where figs have been transformed into chutney, mustard, paté, beer, wine, cava, jam and Majorca’s much-loved delicacy, fig cake. “Our star product is fig coffee; we leave the fruit to dry in the sun for 18 days before it goes into the oven. This process is done by our neighbour Andreu Genestra, a Michelin Green Star. Andreu uses figs in his cooking for sauces and desserts”. Fig coffee has a mild liquorice flavour and the advantage of being caffeine-free, while fig tea is brewed with fig leaves and cinnamon.
Monserrat Pons’ work reveals the importance of figs in Majorcan culture. “Friar Junipero Serra took the fig tree that’s known nowadays as Franciscana from here in Majorca to California”. It isn’t just a tree, it’s a historic legacy.

Air Europa ampliará este verano su operativa con República Dominicana. La aerolínea comenzará a volar a Santiago de los Caballeros, la segunda ciudad más importante del país, a finales del próximo mes de junio y mantendrá los vuelos en esta ruta de manera regular.
Desde el hub del aeropuerto de Madrid-Barajas, Air Europa activará dos frecuencias semanales con Santiago de los Caballeros todos los jueves y sábados. En la actualidad, cuenta con un vuelo diario a Santo Domingo y opera a Punta Cana tres frecuencias semanales que elevará a cuatro este verano para cubrir el incremento de pasajeros en temporada estival. Con la nueva ruta, la compañía Air Europa refuerza su apuesta por la isla caribeña y amplía su oferta allí de cara a satisfacer la sólida demanda hacia este destino.
Situada en el norte de República Dominicana, la ciudad se encuentra próxima a dos de los puntos costeros más destacados a nivel turístico, como son Puerto Plata y Sosúa. Air Europa will be expanding its operations to the Dominican Republic this summer. The airline will start flying to Santiago de los Caballeros, the country's second largest city, at the end of June, maintaining flights on the route on a regular basis.
From its hub at Madrid-Barajas airport, Air Europa will be operating two weekly flights to San-tiago de los Caballeros, every Thursday and Saturday. It currently has a daily flight to Santo Domingo and three a week to Punta Cana, rising to four flights this summer to cover the in-creased number of passengers over the holiday season. With the new route, the company is strengthening its commitment to the Caribbean island and increasing its services there to meet the strong demand for this destination.
Located in the north of the Dominican Republic, the city is close to two of the most popular tourist destinations on the coast, Puerto Plata and Sosúa. All routes to the Dominican Repub-lic are served by the Dreamliner fleet. The Boeing 787 is the most advanced and efficient model in its category, reducing fuel consumption and emissions by 20%, cutting noise levels by 60% and shortening long-haul flights by up to 40 minutes.

Air Europa ha retomado los vuelos de Madrid a Tel Aviv con su flota Dreamliner. La compañía, que suspendió su operativa temporalmente a finales del pasado mes de octubre debido al conflicto bélico, está operando a la ciudad israelí cuatro frecuencias semanales, que irá aumentando de forma progresiva hasta volar a diario en la próxima temporada estival.
Air Europa comenzó su conexión con Tel Aviv en marzo de 2015 y, desde entonces, la ruta ha presentado un notable crecimiento. En los meses que se operó en 2023, la aerolínea transportó a más de 133.000 pasajeros entre ambos destinos, lo que supuso un 11% más que en el año anterior. Los vuelos registraron,
además, un nivel de ocupación media superior al 80%, dato que pone de manifiesto el buen comportamiento y la tendencia al alza que mantiene la ruta.
El horario de llegada a Madrid desde Tel Aviv facilita, además, una buena conexión con los vuelos transoceánicos de la compañía, que despegan en esa franja desde el hub de Madrid-Barajas.
Cabe destacar que los pasajeros internacionales de Air Europa tienen a su disposición la nueva funcionalidad de Amadeus Travel Ready, gracias a la cual pueden realizar la identificación digital de sus pasaportes en el proceso de facturación online y mejorar así su experiencia al agilizar el tiempo en el aeropuerto.
Over 51,000 seats to Tunis and Marrakech
La aerolínea ha reactivado también sus operaciones en el norte de África y lo ha hecho con una amplia oferta de plazas. Desde el aeropuerto de Madrid-Barajas, la compañía vuelve a operar dos frecuencias semanales a Marrakech y a Túnez. En el caso de la capital tunecina, se elevará en junio el número de vuelos con una frecuencia adicional. En total, estarán disponibles este año más de 22.400 plazas a Marruecos y más de 28.600 a Túnez, lo que supone superar los 51.000 asientos. Las rutas a Marrakech y Túnez estarán operativas hasta finales de octubre y permitirán responder a la elevada demanda de ambos destinos turísticos. Air Europa empleará su flota Boeing 737, un modelo de pasillo único representa la forma más eficiente de cubrir los trayectos de corto y medio radio.

The airline has also reactivated its operations in North Africa with a wide selection of seats. From Madrid-Barajas airport, Air Europa is once again operating two flights a week to Marrakech and Tunis. In the case of the Tunisian capital, the number of flights will be increased in June with an additional service. In total, more than 22,400 seats will be available this year to Morocco and more than 28,600 to Tunisia, totalling over 51,000 seats.
The routes to Marrakech and Tunis will be operational until the end of October, responding to the high demand that both tourist destinations have been experiencing since their respective launches in 2017 and 2019. The service will be operated by Air Europa using its Boeing 737 fleet.

En una primera fase, a través del sistema desarrollado por Appmypets - Digital Pet ID, los usuarios accederán al mostrador de facturación de su vuelo con el identificador digital de su mascota (Digital Pet ID) tramitado previamente. Esto permitirá gestionar el embarque del animal de forma más rápida. La agilidad del procedimiento supone una mejora de la experiencia del usuario al facilitar la certificación de la documentación de manera digital.
El proyecto, que arrancará tras una prueba piloto en el aeropuerto de Gran Canaria, es el primer paso para una iniciativa de largo recorrido. Se trata de una acción que, como explica Rafael Brull, director de Marketing de Cliente y Producto de Air Europa, “tiene un valor muy especial para nosotros. Air Europa has taken another step towards making it easier for customers to travel with their pets.
The airline has teamed up with Spanish company Appmypets - Digital Pet ID which simplifies and digitally certifies the processes required for owners to take their pets on board. The alliance means Air Europa will become the first airline in the world to receive a "pet friendly" certification.
In a first phase, using the system developed by Appmypets - Digital Pet ID - users will be able to access the check-in desk with their pet's Digital Pet ID, which has been processed beforehand. This will allow them to board their pet more quickly, and the streamlined procedure is set to improve user experience by making it easier to certify documentation completely digitally.
The project, to be launched after a trial run at Gran Canaria airport, is the first step in a long-range initiative, which, as Rafael Brull, Air Europa's Director of Customer and Product Marketing, explains, " is of great value to us. We are very aware of how important pets are, and of the commitment we make to our passengers to take care of them during the flight. Con la espalda en el asiento, gira los hombros con suavidad adelante, arriba, atrás y abajo, 10 veces en cada dirección. SHOULDER ROTATION. With your back against the seat, turn your shoulders gently forwards, up, back and down, 10 times in each direction.
Sube una pierna a media altura con la rodilla flexionada y el muslo contraído. Bájala. Repite 10 veces con cada pierna. KNEE LIFTS. Lift one leg halfway up with the knee bent and the thigh contracted. Lower it. Repeat 10 times with each leg.
