Meaning of house – A house draws association to the physical nature of the built space, the materials from which it is constructed, and to a lesser extent the layout from which the inside spaces take form. This is not to say that a house may not be a home or even psychologically become one through personalization, time, and experience but on a simplistic terminological basis, the house lacks emotional response (Smith, 2015).
