■ INTERMEDIATE VOLLEYBALL Ages 8-15 This 6 week Class is designed to introduce the rules of volleyball to the players so that they may grow the fundamental skills learned in the beginner level classes. Your child will be introduced to offensive and defensive play as well as learning the flow of action within the game while running drills and scrimmages. The players will be taught to focus on footwork, hand placement, accuracy or passing and formations. ■ PICKLEBALL BASICS FOR BEGINNERS Ages 16+ You can POACH, but don’t get PICKLED!! Stay out of the KITCHEN unless there is a bounce!! Are you new to the fastest growing sport of Pickleball or are you looking to improve your game or challenge the competition? We have many opportunities for you! Pickleball is a fun and dynamic combination of tennis, ping-pong, and badminton. It is played on a badminton-sized court with a net slightly lower than a tennis net. In this introductory class you will learn the fundamentals of movement, strokes, and the rules, all while catching the fever of the magic pickleball. Participants should wear comfortable clothing and court shoes. All other equipment provided. This class is designed to build upon your basic knowledge of the game.
