RAM RADIOARTEMOBILE

RAM radioartemobile was created as a space for artists and the world that rotates around them. The versatility of its structure, intended as a multifunctional space, allows anyone to become involved, to become part of live events, conversations, interviews, round table discussions and workshops, through the mode of listening. A vehicle for the transmission of ideas and the reception of the new, very early on RAM was transformed into a physical location (in Via Conte Verde 15, Rome) with a consultable archive both on site and online at www.radioartemobile.it. RAM – in Rome and elsewhere – also hosts exhibitions of visual artists who have a connection with the vast universe of sound. This activity, characterised by different themes and languages, creates dialectics between image and sound. RAM’s archives are rich with interviews of artists recorded since 2002, and of actual artists’ sound portraits from a selection of recordings made available by Achille Bonita Oliva and Zona Archives.
