GOLF RULES AND REGULATIONS FOURSOME PLAY Play should be in foursomes whenever possible. Groups of less than four following foursomes may play through at the pleasure of the foursome. Normal rules of golf etiquette should be observed at all times. STARTING TIMES During the season, starting times are available Tuesday – Friday beginning at 8:00 a.m. each day. Starting times may be beginning at 10:30 on Saturday and Sunday. Walk-up times are available from 7:30 a.m. – 10:20 p.m. Times may be reserved seven (7) days in advance by contacting a member of the professional staff or via Foretees beginning 6:00 a.m. On Thursdays, members with guests may reserve starting times three weeks in advance by contacting the golf shop. All others may reserve the normal seven days in advance. House members may only book starting times three (3) days in advance. Each new tee sheet opens at 6:00 a.m. each day. GUEST PLAY A non-member may play as a guest up to five (5) times during any fiscal year. It is the members responsibility to accurately register your guests with the golf shop or starter prior to teeing off. Full members may bring up to seven (7) guests during the week but must play in one of the groups. A maximum of three (3) guests will be permitted after 12:00 p.m. on Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays. Members with three guests are strongly encouraged to take a forecaddie when riding on carts. Members may sponsor unaccompanied guests provided they understand the rules and traditions of RCC. The sponsoring member will be held full accountable for the behavior of their guests. All unaccompanied play must be approved by the Head Golf Professional. All foursomes without a member must take a forecaddie. House members may not play as a guest. DRESS CODE Members and guests are expected to wear proper golf attire on the golf course and practice areas at all times. It is the responsibility of each member to conform to the dress code and to ensure that family members and guests do so as well. Children using the golf facilities are expected to be appropriately attired. Men • • •
Slacks, golf shorts, collared shirts, turtlenecks, and mock turtlenecks (both long and short sleeve). Shirts must be tucked in at all times. Not permitted: short-shorts, cargo shorts/pants, jeans, cut-offs, t-shirts, and exercise clothes. Hats must be worn with the brim in the front.
