STARTING All play is to start from the first tee except with permission of the professional staff. Any groups wishing to start from anywhere other than the first tee must contact the Golf Shop in advance for approval. RCC BAG TAGS All players using the golf course must have their RCC bag tag displayed. Those without tags may be asked to leave the course. Additional bag tags may be requested through the Golf Shop. COURSE CLOSING At the discretion of the Green Chairman, Course Superintendent or Golf Professional, the course may be closed at any time. In such instances, play will not be permitted on any part of the course until reopened. USE OF THE COURSE For the safety of everyone, any activities other than golf are prohibited at all times. Activities such as exercising, fishing, dog walking and the like are prohibited. All play must be registered with the Professional staff and begin from the first tee, unless otherwise approved. Please remember, all practice is restricted to designated practice areas. Prior to teeing off, all players must check in with a member of the Outside Operations Staff. HOLE IN ONE INSURANCE POLICY A hole in one is one of the greatest accomplishments of any golfer’s career. It is customary for the player who makes a hole in one to buy everyone at the club a drink that day. Most players worry about the cost associated with this custom. Because we do not want the potential burden to overshadow a golfer’s extraordinary accomplishment, we have enacted this policy: • Members with full golf privileges will be charged $7 at the beginning of the year to be enrolled in the Hole in One Insurance Policy. This fee will be charged once per year or whenever the fund drops below $500. • Hole In One Insurance Policy Coverages: o A commemorative plaque for the player who achieved the hole in one o The entire bar tab, covering one drink for each member who comes to the Kriss Room, Gin’s Mill Bar, or patio following the event o Free drinks may not be redeemed until the player comes into the bar and the tab shuts down when the player leaves o This insurance covers the member’s entire family and guests of members. • HIO insurance is mandatory for all members without a round of golf limit. o Golf, Single Golf, Corporate Golf, Senior Golf, Young Professional, Intermediate, Junior Individual, Senior Gold, Clergy, Women’s Golf, and Women’s Senior Golf • Those in limited golfing categories may “opt-in” to the insurance policy in writing via email to kduffy@rivertoncc.com. • This policy covers only holes-in-one made at Riverton Country Club and drinks must be redeemed on the day of the event.
