New Media Partnership Doubling Down on St Louis Tech Opportunity Nueva

St. Louis, MO

In the midst of the widespread tech layoffs across the country, the regional Tech Council, TechSTL, is making an aggressive investment in the public perception of St. Louis tech opportunity through entering into a strategic partnership with media company, Nitrous Effect (home of Vidzu Media, Geniecast, CPG, Evntiv, UPBrand, Bloom, and Gravity). What has already spurred the launch of the TechSTL YouTube channel, hosting ongoing video interviews with local tech CEOs, the partnership has hit the ground running in generating highvalue content to reflect the local culture of innovation.

“We knew from day one that the story that we tell about St. Louis technology is critical. TechSTL is in a unique position to drive visibility and PR on behalf of the innovation community, and now thanks to the team at Nitrous Effect, we can do that in a more polished way. Great things are happening here in St. Louis and more people should know about it,” shared TechSTL Executive Director, Emily Hemingway.

The partnership between the two organizations was launched in early February when Nitrous Effect committed to a multiyear media agreement in exchange for a seat on the TechSTL Board of Directors.
