Pueblos Mágicos
Comala
203 Km. de Guadalajara
Está en el Estado de Colima, a dos horas y media de Guadalajara, pasando junto al majestuoso Volcán de Colima. Su nombre significa “lugar de comales”, en náhuatl, y combina historia, cultura, gastronomía y naturaleza. Llamado el Pueblo Blanco, debido al color de sus casas, es el escenario donde se desarrolla la novela de Juan Rulfo “Pedro Páramo”. Es una alegre población donde elaboran artesanías, muebles en caoba, máscaras para bailes tradicionales y comales de metal. Su plaza principal está repleta de vegetación y tiene un pintoresco kiosco donde puedes disfrutar del buen clima. En los alrededores puedes pescar en las lagunas de Carrizalillo y La María, o ir al Parque Nacional Nevado de Colima. It’s in the State of Colima, two hours and a half from Guadalajara, passing by the majestic Colima Volcano. Its name means “place of comals”, in Nahuatlato and combine history, culture, gastronomy and nature. Named The White Town, due to its house colors, the scenery where Juan Rulfo’s soap opera “Pedro Paramo” is developed. It is a happy town where Mexican handcrafts are made, mahogany furniture, and traditional dance masks and metal comals are also made. Its main square is full of vegetation and has a picturesque kiosk where you can enjoy the great weather. In the surrounding areas you can fish in the Carrizalillo and La Maria lagoons or go to the National Snowy Colima Park.

133 Km. de Guadalajara Tapalpa significa “tierra alta” en otomí, pues está a más de 2 mil metros sobre el nivel del mar, en la sierra del sur de Jalisco y llegas en menos de dos horas. ¿Por qué vale la pena ir? Para relajarse en un pueblo rodeado de naturaleza. Es famoso por sus pilas o fuentes en las que se surten de agua los pobladores, funcionan como puntos de reunión y están decoradas con motivos de las que derivan su nombre, como la del Perro o la de Las Culebras. Camina por sus calles de adoquines, entre casas blancas y visita la Parroquia de San Antonio con su linda explanada. Ve a la cascada del Salto del Nogal, con más de 110 metros de altura o al Valle de los Enigmas y sus gigantescas formaciones rocosas, conocidas como Las Piedrotas. En el Mercado del Artesano encontrarás jorongos, cobijas de lana tejidos a mano y muebles artesanales de madera. Go the Salto Nogal waterfall with more than 110 meters in height or the Valley of the Enigmas and its giant rocky formations known as The Big Rocks (Las Piedrotas). In the handcrafts market one can find ponchos, woven wool blankets and handmade wooden furniture.

Agrega linaza a tu vida diaria La tendencia mundial es comer saludable aprovechando la proteína vegetal que encontramos en granos y semillas, y una de las favoritas son las semillas de linaza. La linaza es rica en ácidos grasos Omega-3, lignanos, fibra y proteínas. Uno de sus usos es en aceite, el cual contiene más del 50% de ácidos grasos poliinsaturados, los cuales son buenos para la salud, ya que al consumirlos tienes menos riesgo de enfermedades cardiovasculares, diabetes y cáncer. Canadá es el principal exportador de linaza en el mundo, principalmente a países como Estados Unidos, China, la Unión Europea y México. En nuestro país, durante 2015 se consumieron 2,300 toneladas de linaza canadiense, la cual se cultiva en las provincias de Saskatchewan, Manitoba y Alberta; en 2016 Canadá produjo un total de 900 mil toneladas de linaza.

Pues cuando nos corta, aparte de ponernos súper tristes, llorar un par de días o incluso semanas, también tener algo de coraje y rencor, lo más probable es que después de que no vemos que hay alguna esperanza de volver, empecemos a agarrar ese coraje, ese resentimiento y lo empecemos a usar a nuestro favor... entonces ya eso de juntarme con mis amigos y criticar al “susodicho” de lo maldito que fue, es sentirnos tan fuertes que le empezamos a dar la vuelta a la página, inicia ese periodo de ir al gym sin falta, nos ponemos a dieta, salimos de fiesta, queremos conocer nuevas personas, inclusive cambiamos de look... ¡Nos queremos ver espectaculares! Para ese día que ese “canijo” quiera regresar, le podamos decir “¡Já...!, este bombón ya no es para ti”. ¿A poco no? Bueno pues eso es lo que hizo Estados Unidos con nosotros, entonces basta de seguir de “ardillas” hablando mal de él y viendo que hace bien o que hace mal... ya es hora de darle la vuelta a la página, darnos cuenta del potencial que tenemos como mexicanos, como país, ponernos “buenísimos” y el día que quiera regresar seguro habrá muchos “otros” en fila... y si no quieren regresar, seguro estaremos en otro nivel tan fregón que no nos acordaremos de su existencia. Entonces, todo esto es una gran oportunidad de la vida, de valorar todo lo estamos haciendo y lo que hemos dejado de hacer, es aprender a ser independientes, no ser víctimas de lo que nos pasa y sentirnos pequeñitos. Ya basta. Lo digo como analogía y como vida real. Porque así es la vida, somos en todo lo de fuera como nos sentimos por dentro. Love, Ch.

Well, when he breaks up with us, besides getting super sad, crying for a couple of days or even weeks, also having some anger and rancor, most likely, after seeing that there is no chance of getting back together, we start to grab that resentment and we start to use it in our favor.... then we get together with our friends and criticize the “non mentionable one” of how evil he was, it’s feeling so strong that we start turning the page, the time where we start going to the gym without missing a day, we go on a diet, we go to parties, we want to meet new people, we even get a change of look.... we want to look spectacular! For when that day when that rascal wants to get back together, we can say “Ha! This muffin is not for you anymore”! Isn’t it true? Well, that’s what the United States did to us, so let’s stop holding a “grudge” by speaking badly about the United States and start noticing what they do well or what they do badly...it’s time to turn the page, notice the potential we have as Mexicans, as a country, get our “great bods” and the day that they want to come back, there will be plenty of “others” standing in line... and if they don’t want to come back, we will surely be at another level, so intimidating that we will not remember their existence. So, all of this is a great opportunity of life, of valuing everything we are doing and what we stopped doing, it’s learning to be independent, not being victims of what happens to us and feeling little. Travelling doesn’t necessarily mean you need to put your good habits on hold, you can enjoy everything with moderation.
