Sayulita no sólo es para los aventureros que quieren acampar en la playa, también es para quienes están dispuestos a aventurarse en el paraíso entero. Por ello este lugar se presenta como perfecto. Generalmente cuando me recomiendan un lugar y decido visitarlo entro a su página de internet para darme una idea más clara de lo que hay y sus servicios... me dejo enamorar por sus fotografías y descripciones, pero ese no fue el caso del Hotel Playa Escondida. Creo que no pudo haber mejor decisión, pues la sorpresa a mi llegada fue abrumadora. Sayulita se encuentra ubicado a una hora aproximadamente de Puerto Vallarta y ya es parte del Estado de Nayarit, en la denominada Riviera Nayarit. El camino me pareció más corto de lo que pensé porque el recorrido es muy agradable y la carretera se encuentra en muy buenas condiciones. Al llegar, los anfitriones del hotel me tenían lista una guarnición de gelatinas, pepinos, apios y mis almendras, además de que mi aguachile de la comida ya estaba listo en el restaurante. Parte de la colección Hoteles Boutique de México, este hotel nos recibe con habitaciones sacadas de un sueño, una cabaña en medio de la selva sin vidrios en las ventanas, con unas cortinas de manta de cielo y una cama que estuvo a punto de hacerme cambiar de planes y mejor quedarme a vivir por una buena temporada en el lugar. Sin embargo, era hora de descubrir la razón detrás de que Sayulita haya embrujado a tantos con su tentación romántica, por lo que con el mar de escenario y el sonido de las olas rompiendo como sonido de fondo, me comí uno de los aguachiles mas ricos de mi vida acompañándolo con un vino blanco que agregó frescura y sirvió para brindar con el sol por la fortuna de estar ahí.

Y si esta Semana Santa salimos de los destinos tradicionales de playa a los que estamos acostumbrados? ¿Si dejáramos de llenar las playas de Acapulco para recorrer otros destinos que están en franco crecimiento pero que, sin duda alguna, están plagados de belleza? Y, mejor aún, ¿qué tal que nos dejamos consentir en estos lugares como no se puede hacer en otros? Estamos cerca y es momento de subirnos al auto, tomar un poco la aventura y lanzarnos a Riviera Nayarit, donde dos hoteles nos dan la bienvenida para olvidarnos de cualquier cosa y dejar que nuestras vacaciones de la Semana Mayor tengan, sin duda alguna, algo de divinidad.

Viajar sola me permite encontrarme con mis pensamientos, con mis ideas, con todo ello que en el ir y venir diario de una ciudad como en la que vivo nos hace olvidar por un momento que necesitamos tiempo para nosotros mismos y este lugar me ofreció la oportunidad de pensar y hasta no pensar en nada. Así que, les vuelvo a preguntar, ¿y si esta Semana Santa salimos de los destinos tradicionales de playa a los que estamos acostumbrados? ¿Si dejáramos de llenar las playas de Acapulco para recorrer otros destinos que están en franco crecimiento pero que, sin duda alguna, están plagados de belleza? Y, mejor aún, ¿qué tal que nos dejamos consentir en estos lugares como no se puede hacer en otros? Porque en Riviera Nayarit lo que se consiente es el espíritu, la mente y las emociones. Aquí encontramos el camino de vuelta a casa y de vuelta a nosotros mismos.

Or stopped filling the beaches of Acapulco to explore other locations that are clearly growing but they are undoubtedly full of beauty? And better yet, what if you let yourself be pampered in these places like cannot be done in others? We are close and it is time to get on the car, take part in this extraordinary adventure and go to the Riviera Nayarit where two hotels welcome us to forget everything and let our Holy Week vacation have, without any doubt, a spark of divinity. Sayulita is not only for the adventurous who want to camp on the beach, but also for those willing to venture into the whole paradise. That is why this place is perfect! Usually when someone recommends a place and decide to visit it, I search for information in its website to get a clearer idea of its services ... I let myself fall in love with its pictures and descriptions, but that was not the case of the Hotel Playa Escondida . It turned out to be the best decision I have ever made because my arrival was an overwhelming surprise. Sayulita is located about an hour from Puerto Vallarta and it is already part of the state of Nayarit in the so-called Riviera Nayarit. The road seemed shorter than I thought because the tour is very nice and the road is in very good condition. Upon arrival, the hotel hosts had already prepared for me a side of jelly, cucumber, celery, and my almonds. In addition to this, my aguachile for lunch was ready in the restaurant. As part of the group of Mexico Boutique Hotels , this hotel welcomes you with rooms taken out of a dream, a cabin in the middle of the jungle with no glass in the windows , with cheesecloth curtains and a bed that was about to change my plans and live there for a while. However, it was time to discover the reason why Sayula has captivated so many visitors with its romantic temptation. So, having the sea and the sound of crashing waves as background, I ate one of the most delicious aguachiles in my life with a cold glass of white wine that added freshness and drank a toast to the opportunity to be there.

Traveling alone allows me to connect with my thoughts, my ideas, with all that a big city makes us forget, this is, we need to take time for ourselves and this place gave me the opportunity to think and also not to think at all. in importar el color del partido en turno instalado en la mansión de Los Pinos, a dos décadas de distancia del magnicidio que se impregnó en el imaginario colectivo como uno de los pasajes más dramáticos en la historia ‘moderna’ de México, el cuestionamiento de ¿quién mató a Luis Donaldo Colosio? aún flota en el entorno político, incluyendo el sinfín de connotaciones implícitas en esta duda. Veinte años después de un polémico caso cerrado e inconcluso -aunque no olvidado-, una de esas tantas evocaciones que se reaviva de manera particular, enmarcada por la reciente recaptura de Joaquín El Chapo Guzmán, es: ¿de qué forma aquel pasaje histórico ha marcado para siempre el concepto de ‘legalidad’ en nuestro país? Lo anterior sale a relucir y convenientemente coincide de cierto modo en ambos casos de gran trascendencia dentro del territorio mexicano, pues -hay que decirlo- hoy en día las versiones oficiales que se difunden en torno a una investigación, un homicidio o una captura importante, son visiblemente cuestionadas o sencillamente traen consigo un halo de incredulidad. Lo mismo ocurre a consecuencia de las distintas teorías que enmarcan el polémico asesinato de Luis Donaldo Colosio Murrieta ocurrido el 23 de marzo de 1994, que ensombrecieron y enmarañaron las pesquisas de un caso que -pese a su relevancia- no podrá ser abierto sino hasta el año 2035, cuando el presunto autor material: Mario Aburto Martínez, haya cumplido los 45 años de prisión a los que fue sentenciado por este hecho. En 2007, la PGR anunció que la información acerca del caso se pondría bajo reserva, por lo que el nutrido archivo de documentos, discos y videos se guardan en un sobre sellado al resguardo del Archivo General de la Nación, a la espera de algún indicio que con el que autoridades en suspenso puedan reabrir las indagatorias de lo que realmente ocurrió una veintena de años atrás en Lomas Taurinas, una de las colonias más pobres de Tijuana. En un México donde la alternancia partidista ya se había conseguido a nivel estatal (Baja California fue la primera entidad en ser gobernada por la oposición), el PRI apostaba por el carismático economista de 44 años para contender contra Diego Fernández de Cevallos (PAN) y Cuauhtémoc Cárdenas Solórzano (PRD), dado que el tricolor poco a poco había ido perdiendo curules y escaños en el Congreso a manos de los partidos opositores. Rompiendo con la figura del candidato inalcanzable durante su promoción como aspirante a la Silla Presidencial, Luis Donaldo rechazaba los grandes despliegues de seguridad a los que los políticos estaban acostumbrados y se acercaba a las personas, lo que le daba la presencia de una persona humana y consciente, que trabajaría con y para el electorado. Pese a las casi siete décadas que el hegemónico partido tricolor llevaba en el poder, el político sinaloense se presentaba como un candidato dispuesto a llevar a cabo la separación de funciones entre partido político y gobierno, para ahondar en la democratización y transformación de la política mexicana. No obstante, hubo quien no estuvo dispuesto a esperar para saber si habría podido llevarlo a cabo.

20 YEARS AFTER COLOSIO CASE: THE INCONSISTENCIES OF A MURDER SUBJECT TO RESERVATION

In 2007, the PGR announced that the information about the case would be subject

of reservation, so the documents file, CDs and videos are stored in a sealed envelope at the General Archive of the Nation waiting for any sign to be opened by the authorities to know what really happened twenty years ago in Bullfighting Hills, one of the poorest neighborhoods in Tijuana. Si llegas a Jalisco y no comes en Tortas Toño… ¡es como si no hubieras ido! El más tapatío de los platillos adquiere especial relevancia en la exitosa cadena de restaurantes que ha reposicionado a la torta ahogada como un distintivo de México.

Desde 1990 son pioneros “en un sistema de autoservicio en el cual la gente prepara la torta ahogada a su gusto, sin imponer medidas a los ingredientes que cada quien desee agregar”, relata Mark Wilton, Gerente General de Tortas Toño. A lo largo de este tiempo han ocurrido situaciones curiosas, como el hecho que “gente importante de la Ciudad de México nos pidiera producto y se lo enviábamos, o nos visitan reconocidas personalidades de varios ámbitos, como Benjamín Galindo, Pedro Fernández y hasta Juan Gabriel ha venido”, señala Wilton. Las seis sucursales de Tortas Toño están ubicadas en la Zona Metropolitana de Guadalajara (viene una séptima, que probablemente esté funcionando al cierre de esta edición) porque el virote es un

ingrediente exclusivo de esta región de México y sería imposible reproducir la delicia culinaria en otros lugares. (¡Es un pretexto excelente para disfrutar de los sabores de Jalisco!) Para mantener este estándar, que ya es famoso en Estados Unidos y España, “mejoramos la calidad de los productos; tenemos una cocina industrial donde preparamos las salsas para todas las sucursales, con lo que estandarizamos nuestro sabor característico. También preparamos tacos dorados de frijol, papa, requesón y carne; mini tortas y platillos light, que son la torta de pollo, de panela y de camarón, pues nuestra intención es ser representantes de Jalisco en el mundo”, puntualiza el Gerente General de Tortas Toño.
