Les presentamos nuestra primera edición del año 2015, que refleja al México que mira hacia el futuro: Zapopan, uno de los municipios más prósperos del país y un destino turístico imprescindible; Antara Polanco, en el Distrito Federal, es una obra del arquitecto Javier Sordo Madaleno que conjunta vivienda, servicios y comercio en el mismo lugar, y es un referente para el turismo mundial; y los desarrollos verticales delinean el nuevo rostro de Guadalajara. Además, el testimonio de un arquitecto-interiorista resalta el efecto que surge al planear de forma simultánea la concepción de las áreas de un lugar y la faceta decorativa, mientras que la opinión de un desarrollador de este tipo de construcciones deja patente cuál es la tendencia del México actual. ¡Bienvenidos a estos espacios mexicanos!

esde su nacimiento, Cuauhtémoc Cárdenas Solórzano estuvo vinculado a la política, pues el 1 de mayo de 1934 en el que nació, su padre: el general Lázaro Cárdenas del Río, se encontraba en plena campaña política por la Presidencia de México, misma que ganaría meses después. El trabajo y entrega de su padre plasmaron la infancia de Cárdenas Solórzano, quien a su vez se la heredó a su hijo, Lázaro Cárdenas Batel, primer gobernador no emanado del Partido Revolucionario Institucional (PRI) en el estado de Michoacán. Al igual que su padre, El Ingeniero perteneció al PRI hasta mediados de la década de los ochenta, cuando se separó del partido; posteriormente fundó el Partido de la Revolución Democrática (PRD), siendo el principal líder de esa fuerza política hasta el pasado 25 de noviembre de 2014, fecha en que renunció al Sol Azteca. Pese a la dimisión de su militancia tricolor, su paso dentro de este instituto político fue también bastante exitoso, pues en 1980 fue elegido candidato del Revolucionario Institucional para la gubernatura michoacana. Se desempeñó en dicho cargo de 1980 a 1986, el último que encabezaría bajo los colores del priismo. El tres veces candidato presidencial (ya en las filas perredistas) se unió a una lista de nombres como Porfirio Muñoz Ledo y Andrés Manuel López Obrador, quienes dejaron el partido que fundaron bajo el pretexto de diferir con la ideología de la dirigencia del Comité Ejecutivo Nacional del PRD en turno. A pesar de su salida del PRD, Cuauhtémoc Cárdenas es quizá la figura política más respetable del México contemporáneo, siempre paralelo a sus principios e incansable en sus actividades públicas, pues se mantiene activo y vigente a pesar de sus 80 años de edad.

S
ince birth, Cuauhtémoc Cárdenas Solórzano was linked to politics, for in May 1st, 1934 date in which he was born, his father, General Lázaro Cárdenas del Río, was in full political campaign for the presidency of Mexico, winning it a few months later. The work and dedication of his father shaped the childhood of Cárdenas Solórzano, who in turn handed it over to his son, Lázaro Cárdenas Batel, first governor not from the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI) in the state of Michoacán. Like his father, the Engineer belonged to the PRI until the mid-eighties, when he left the party and subsequently founded the Democratic Revolutionary Party (PRD), being the main leader of that political force until last November 25, 2014, when he resigned the Aztec Sun. Despite resignation of his tricolor militancy, his passing within this political institute was also quite successful, having been elected in 1980 as a candidate for the Institutional Revolutionary Party for governor of Michoacan. He served in that position from 1980 to 1986; being the last he would hold under the colors of the PRI. The three-time presidential candidate (already in the PRD rows) joined a list of names like Porfirio Muñoz Ledo and Andrés Manuel López Obrador, who left the party they founded under the pretext of differed ideology with the leadership of the PRD National Executive Committee in turn. Despite leaving the PRD, Cuauhtémoc Cárdenas is perhaps the most respectable political figure of contemporary Mexico, always in line with his principles and tireless in his public activities, as he remains active and current despite his 80 years of age.

En 1970 los residentes de la afamada Colonia Chapalita -también llamada Ciudad Jardín- pidieron al arquitecto y escultor Fernando González Górtazar que creara una fuente para agradecer la fertilidad de la zona.

Está ubicada en el cruce de las avenidas López Mateos y Las Rosas, en Guadalajara, donde décadas atrás un manantial abastecía granjas donde se criaban animales y se cosechaban frutas y vegetales.

Está formada por cubos y prismas de concreto de varios tamaños, colocados en diferentes posiciones, siguiendo la estética modernista de la época.

El estilo de la obra le llevó al reconocimiento mundial a través de exposiciones en galerías internacionales.

Su nombre hace referencia a la bondad del vital líquido, a la forma en que San Francisco de Asís se relacionaba con la naturaleza y a una de las obras del poeta Amado Nervo.

In 1970 the residents of the famous suburb Chapalita -also called Ciudad Jardín (garden city)- asked the architect and sculptor Fernando González Gortázar to create a fountain to thank the fertility of the area. It is located at the intersection of Avenue López Mateos and Las Rosas, in Guadalajara, where decades ago a water source supplied farms in which animals were raised and fruits and vegetables harvested.

It consists of concrete cubes and prisms of various sizes, placed in different positions, following the modernist aesthetic of the time.

The style of the work led him to worldwide recognition through exhibitions in international galleries.

Desde 1995 ha tenido una ascendente carrera en el kartismo mundial: fue campeón nacional de la Copa Corona en la categoría Shifter 125c.c., logró seis triunfos en la Categoría Shifter 125 c.c. y ganó el primer lugar del Campeonato Copa México. En 2005 corrió en la Fórmula Renault 2000 con el equipo Corona Elf Cinépolis, ganando el Gran Premio de Costa Rica y, en 2006, fue nombrado Novato del Año al obtener una pole y un pódium en la temporada del Desafío Corona. Entre otros logros, llegó al top-5 en la temporada de la NASCAR México, en 2007; durante 2008 ganó la pole position en Watkins Glen bajo los colores del Telmex/Chivas Racing y este mismo año se proclamo campeón de la NASCAR México. Consiguió, en 2009, el cuarto lugar de la NASCAR México con 2 triunfos, una pole position y 6 podios en la campaña regular. En 2010 estuvo dos veces en el podio y tres en el top-ten. En 2012 sumó 472 unidades en el campeonato de la NASCAR México, para llegar al top-5 en el auto Telmex #1. Y lo triunfos se siguen acumulando.
ABOUT ANTONIO PÉREZ Since 1995, he has experienced a rising career in the world of car racing. He was the national Corona Cup champion in the Shifter 125c.c. category, accomplishing six wins in the Shifter 125 c.c. and wining first place in the Mexico Cup Championship. In 2005 he raced in the Renault 2000 Formula with the Corona Elf Cinépolis team, winning the Grand Prix of Costa Rica and in 2006 he was named Rookie of the Year while obtaining a pole position and a podium in the Corona Challenge season. Among other achievements, he reached the top-5 ranking in the NASCAR Mexico season of 2007. In 2008 he won the pole position in Watkins Glen under the Telmex / Chivas Racing colors, and this year he was proclaimed NASCAR Mexico champion. In 2009, he obtained fourth place in the NASCAR Mexico with two wins, one pole position and six podium finishes in the regular season. In 2010 he finished twice on the podium, and three times in the top-ten. Por sus cualidades Central Park ha sido un proyecto muy bien aceptado por inversionistas y futuros residentes, con una muy rápida absorción por parte del mercado”, finaliza Cantú Aldrete.

n las últimas semanas, el tipo de cambio MXN/USD se depreció de manera acelerada hasta alcanzar 15.00 pesos por dólar, un nivel nunca antes visto, ni siquiera en las últimas crisis. Ante esta variabilidad y la posibilidad de observar el tipo de cambio en niveles superiores a 14.50 en la primera parte del año, es importante recordar cuáles son las ventajas y las desventajas de una depreciación. Con respecto a las primeras, hay un sector claramente beneficiado: exportador. México vende al exterior un monto equivalente a 30% de su PIB cada año, las manufacturas son un ganador definitivo de un tipo de cambio alto; entre los sectores más beneficiados se encuentran el automotriz, el de maquinaria y equipo y el de equipos eléctricos. Un segundo ganador es el turismo. Cada año México recibe alrededor de 12 mil millones de dólares por este concepto (casi 1% del PIB). El turismo nacional también se beneficia debido a que se vuelve más caro para los mexicanos visitar el extranjero, por lo cual 2015 podría ser un año positivo para el turismo nacional después de que el peso mexicano cayó más de 11% en 2014 frente al dólar. Finalmente, las familias que reciben remesas también se benefician, en promedio, el monto de una remesa es cercano a 300 dólares al mes, por lo cual, si una familia recibía 3.900 pesos, ahora recibirá 4,425. ¿Qué hay de los efectos adversos? En primer lugar, al depreciarse el dólar, todos los bienes importados son más caros. Los bienes de consumo final, así como los de consumo intermedio (destinados a procesos productivos) serán más caros. Este encarecimiento se traduce en presiones en precios de mercancías, por lo cual podrían generarse presiones inflacionarias. En balance, los beneficios para la economía superan a las desventajas. Por ello, es probable que en los siguientes trimestres la depreciación del tipo de cambio, de ser sostenida, de un impulso adicional a la economía mexicana, la cual tuvo un crecimiento de sólo 1.4% en 2013 y podría crecer 2.2% en 2014, muy inferior al promedio de 2010 a 2012 de 4.4%.
