he White Dunes are a fascinating destination to go with children, because they have fun in the amazing scenery while learning about Mexico´s natural wonders. Millions of years ago was the bottom of the sea and the natural changes formed salt water lagoons that when dry, left deposits of calcium sulfate, forming a desert that looked like snow… if not for the intense sun and warm weather. It is also a place full of life: The mesquite trees, yucca, sotol (Desert Spoon) and biznaga (barrel cactus) plants grow in the middle of the desert. Even NASA considers it as an ecosystem that can help us understand the evolution of primitive earth. It is like living in prehistory!

Por ejemplo, cuando el barón Alexander Von Humboldt –un explorador apasionado por este país- quedó tan impresionado por su belleza, las dibujó a lápiz en 1803, llevándolas a Londres. Además, hay actividades como pesca de truchas (¡las puedes pedir preparadas con el sazón hidlaguense!), bajar por la tirolesa y haer recorridos por el mágico lugar. ¡Tienes que estar ahí!

he Basaltic Prisms were formed millions of years ago, when a spill of lava rapidly cooled down. These stone columns are showered by four waterfalls and surrounded by the Barranca de Santa Maria Regla, in the Magical Town of Huasca de Ocampo. It´s like a place out of a fairy tale! For example, Baron Alexander Von Humboldt - a passionate explorer of this country - felt so impressed by its beauty that he drew them in pencil in 1803, taking the drawings afterwards to London. There are also other activities such as: trout fishing (you can have them prepared with an Hidlaguense seasoning!), going down a zipline and going through this magical place. You have to be there!

Cuando leas en la etiqueta de la botella que dice “100% de agave” quiere decir que el producto contiene las azúcares obtenidas del Agave Tequilana Weber y que fue envasado en la planta que controla el Productor Autorizado (ubicada dentro del territorio de la zona de Denominación de Origen). Y de acuerdo a las características adquiridas en la destilación, se clasifica en Blanco o Plata, Joven u Oro, Reposado, Añejo y Extra Añejo.
¿WHAT CATEGORIES OF TEQUILA ARE THERE? When you read “100% agave” on the bottle’s label, it means that the product contains the sugars obtained from the Weber Tequila Agave and was bottled in a plant that controls the Authorized Producer (located within the territory of the Place of Origin area). And according to the characteristics acquired from the distillation, it is classified as White or Silver, Young or Gold, Reposado (Rested), Añejo (Aged) or Extra Añejo (Extra Aged).

Desde su primer día al frente de la dependencia, el funcionario recibió esta encomienda por parte de Aristóteles Sandoval, Gobernador del Estado de Jalisco, y desde entonces ha sido arduo el trabajo para hacer una realidad el que miles de personas de todo el país y del mundo vivan el encuentro en la capital del más mexicano de los estados. Y aunque no es la primera vez que el evento es celebrado en Jalisco (ya se realizó en Puerto Vallarta y Nuevo Vallarta), la ciudad de Guadalajara tiene todo para ofrecer el mejor Tianguis Turístico de la historia. Como lo ha afirmado Ramos Flores, “es un evento que congrega a las empresas más importantes que manejan y controlan los flujos de turismo en México, así que obligadamente tenemos que estar presentes”.
