Before I came here I was expecting to meet completely paranoid people, but that is not the case. I have experienced love, unity co-operation and teamwork here. All trying to make every member have a better life. This clubhouse has inspired, challenged and conceived the idea, that one day we will have clubhouses in Kenya! We don ’ t have such facilities to help psychiatric rehabilitees now. I have been obliged to carry the mission of revolutionizing the way mental health system is in Kenya. The best Clubhouse has really been a good place for my practical training; I am happy that I was granted this opportunity to be here and I must say that I have learned great things and developed in my skills. Things happens in everyday life: we celebrate, we mourn or even cry but after some time we forget, but the experience I have from this clubhouse will be permanently present in the whole course of my life. I am happy that I was here. I am grateful to all Salo clubhouse members: “ Y ou are wonderful and amazing people! May your spirit of unity continue to flourish every new day! And may the fire of your love never grow dim! ”

Practising in Salo Clubhouse
I am doing my mental health practice now here in Salo Clubhouse. My studies here has been wonderful, educative and life changing. It is life changing in that what I was thinking before I came to clubhouse and what I now think about people with mental health problems is a metamorphosis.
