arch brings a variety of courses to RASM, a little something for everyone.

14-HOURS CE Many of our members will be renewing their licenses this month, and if you need to complete the 14-hours of education, RASM has you covered! Dick Fryer, current FREC member, and past chairman, will instruct the 14-hour license renewal course on March 2 and 3. This course covers all components: Law, Ethics & Business Practices and specialty hours. The Core Law can be taken independently on March 2.

UPCOMING CLASSES & SEMINARS Get the latest flood map updates in our WTF?: What The FLOOD? seminar. There are over 35 miles of coastline in Sarasota and Manatee counties, and the changes to the maps and new classification systems can impact your transactions. Learn about the newest zone: Coastal Zone A, and how FEMA has redesigned the formula with which the agency determines flood insurance premiums. This class focuses on changes in Manatee County only–Sarasota coming soon! As we approach the 2019 tax filing deadline, consider taking Taxes & Money–Pay Less, Keep More! Earn 3 CE credits for license renewal and keep current on tax laws that affect you and your customers. This class is streamed live from Orlando utilizing the Virtual Classroom series from Florida REALTORS®. RAJC is bringing back a class on Permitting. Attorney Stephen Rees will discuss permits as they apply to vacant land, existing structures, new, construction, and non-conformities–what you need to know as a listing agent and buyers’ agent. County officials will join us to explain the process and expectations from a municipal perspective.

NEW EDUCATION SERIES In the style of Lunch ‘n Learn, our Business Partners and Committees bring a new education series to RASM: Food for Thought! (F4T). Offered monthly, Food for Thought fuels your mind and your body. We begin in March with a Top Producer Panel: A Day in the Life of a Top Producer. Our panel, who in 2019 grossed well over $80 million combined, will share their insights on working with customers, planning their day, converting leads, and more.
