Printing material is to be submitted by e-mail. Please always include the title of the magazine (»bauSICHERHEIT«) and the corresponding issue. Please send us ad data as PDF in our recommended standard PDF/X4.
All fonts used must be embedded and converted to paths if necessary. For the delivered data, we assume that the PDF file has been checked for correct print output in advance via preflight. Printing is done in CMYK (according to ISO 12647, part 2).
Special colors used in display data are possible after consultation for a fee. PDF data deviating from the X4 standard or/and with special colors not agreed upon may be converted before printing. Print profile used: PSO Coated v3.
Alternatively, on request, the delivery of so-called open data for the programs Quark XPress, Adobe
InDesign, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop is possible. Costs may arise here.
Images and logos should be saved in EPS (vector), TIFF or PDF format, the image resolution should be at least 300 dpi. Fonts used in EPS and PDF must also be embedded and converted to paths if necessary.
For copyright and licensing reasons, it is not possible to transmit the original fonts.
Color displays/proofs
A color proof of each page to be exposed or a b/w proof of each color is required with the respective color (EURO scale, Pantone, HKS); color proofs from the color copier are not binding for printing. Digital proofs are required for color-compliant advertisements in accordance with the print media standard (Ugra/FOGRA media wedge).
Warranties
Only the transmitted data or, in case of deviation from the recommended standard, the converted data can be exposed and printed. The publisher assumes no liability for deviations in texts, illustrations and in particular colors.
