GOD'S LOVE Wonderful creation
I am fearfully a wonder nd fully made. Psalm 13 9:14
God made you like He made everything else—wonderful. When God created you, He made you in His own image. God is love, so He made you in love—to be loved and to love others. (see 1 John 4:7-12) Isn’t that wonderful? And it makes sense, right? When you think about it, deep down inside you is a desire to love and be loved that is a core part of who you are.

GOD'S LOVE I am made to love
God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them. 1 Jo hn 4:16
The Bible says that love is from God and God is love. It was also out of love that God sent Jesus to earth. Jesus taught us what it means to live in love and for God to live through us. He also taught us to love God, ourselves, and other people. When you act out of love, you practice being like Jesus—the way God made you to be.

GOD'S LOVE God takes care of me
“Look at th e birds: they do no t plant see ds, gather a h arvest and put it in b arns; yet y our Father in h eaven tak es care of them! A ren’t you w orth much more than birds ?” Matt. 6 :25 (GNT)
God loves you more than anything else, so He will always take care of you. In the Bible (Matt. 6:19-30) Jesus said, ”All the things you have here on earth are of little worth. Don’t store up these things that can be ruined or lost. Put your heart in God alone! Have faith that God will take care of you. He will give you everything you need. God takes care of the birds and flowers, so He will certainly do more for you.” God cares deeply for you and wants to give you everything you need to grow.

GOD'S LOVE God loves me
Do everything
in love. 1 Corinthians 16:14 Love is the best! That does not mean you should not also get angry sometimes. Anger is normal and perfectly fine. Even God gets angry. But you should return to doing things out of love. Every day you will have opportunities to show love or not show love. One day when Jesus was teaching a huge crowd, His disciples wanted to send everyone home to eat (perhaps they were hungry, too?). But Jesus felt compassion for them. He wanted to feed everyone—and so He did (Mark 6:34-38). Jesus did everything in love. When you try to do the same, it will guide you to do the right thing.

GOD'S LOVE I will love like Jesus loved
Most important of all, love each other deeply, because love ma kes you willing to fo rgive many sins. 1 Peter 4:8 (ERV) Jesus is the perfect example to teach you to grow in love. One time, Jesus washed His disciples’ feet. He did this to set an example of what humble, serving love looks like. There was no part of their life that He did not want to be a part of, and no act of love that was too low for Him. (see John 13:1-9) Jesus even washed Judas’ dirty feet along with all the others, even though Jesus knew that Judas would betray Him. Jesus then told His disciples that they are to serve one another in the same way that He had served them. Jesus loves you no matter what.

GROW IN APPRECIATION I will praise God
Praise the LORD, my so ul; all my inmo st being, praise his holy nam e. Psalm 103:1
Take a moment to think about your life and all that you have. Try not to take anything for granted. When you think about your life and all that God has done for you, you’ll quickly see that He deserves appreciation. In fact, He deserves all the praise we can give. The Bible says: “All things were created through him and for him.” (Col 1:16, ESV) It is a good thing to give God praise, because God is so good—and God is pleased when we praise Him (Psalm 147:11).

GROW IN APPRECIATION I praise God for His abundance
“You ar e the one put me t who ogether in mother’ s body, a side my you beca n use of th d I praise e wonder you crea fu ted me. Everythi l way n do is ma rvelous! g you ” When God created the world, He made so much abundance (so much extra). For instance, there was no way Adam and Eve could eat all the fruit in the garden that the trees and bushes produced. God also made the universe so big and with so many stars and planets that even today we have no idea how big it is—we only know that it’s HUGE. The Bible tells us that Isaac prayed to God to bring him and his wife Rebekah a child. God answered the prayer and Rebekah became pregnant—with twins. God blessed them abundantly. (Gen. 25:21) We serve a God who is Almighty, and He is more than enough! The original Hebrew word for Almighty is El Shaddai which means “the AllSufficient One” or “the God of plenty.” In other words, our God is more than enough!

GROW IN APPRECIATION My God can do anything
“Nothing is impossible for God!” Luke 1:37 (CEV)
God is not only all-loving, all-good and allsufficient, He is also all-powerful. Back in the day, King Herod did not like the followers of Jesus. He had Peter arrested and thrown in jail. Peter was bound with heavy chains on his wrists and his ankles. There was a guard on each side of Peter and two guards at the door to make sure he didn’t escape. But that did not stop God from saving Peter. God sent an angel to rescue Peter (Acts 12:1-8). If you are struggling with something in your life, remember that nothing is too big or too small for God and nothing is impossible for Him.

Life is sometimes hard and you are almost always fighting some kind of battle. Maybe you are angry at your friends or they are angry at you. Maybe people expect you to behave a certain way in school and at home. Maybe you have to do homework and maybe there is pressure to perform well all the time. Life can be tough. God is good and wants only the best for you. Romans 8:31 says “If God is for us, who can be against us?” God is stronger than anything. With Him, you can go through life without being shaken, even though it’s tough.
