Darts

The Darts Section carried on with the Section evenings during April, culminating in its last event on 3 May before the latest round of restrictions were announced to combat the resurgence of community infections in Singapore in compliance with the official guidelines. The Section night on 3 May was particularly special as we had invited representatives from the Balut Section to join us in the Gilmour Room. Everyone had a great evening with several teams on hand to battle for the top scores. We had two teams of four players - two from Balut and two from Darts in each team competing in best of three games in 501 format. Shelia, Mahesh and Tushar represented the Balut Section while the other board comprised of our members. It was a close fight right to the end with Team 1 emerging champions, winning two out of three games. Friendly and Entertaining. (Team 1: Kenneth, Fathima, Tushar, Rod and Team 2: Sheila, Mahesh, Soma, Mohan). At time of writing, all Section activities in the Club are on hold. Let’s all do our part to defeat the spread of this scourge and we can once again resume our normal activities. Take care and stay safe.
