Andy Douglas, a survivor from the day back in 2002, and SCC teammates and friends got together in London to remember those who lost their lives; a true example of the enduring relationships that were forged at the SCC.
The team photo from the 2002 tour, the Bali memorial trophy, and the Section remembrance plaque stand together on the Padang for the sunrise memorial. Despite COVID-19 restrictions preventing the Singapore rugby community competing for the Bali memorial trophy this year, it serves as reminder of the way the whole rugby community comes together to represent the very best attributes of the sport.
