SCC FOOTBALL WOMEN’S DEVELOPMENT TEAM The Women’s NFL football league that was slated to have taken place in June, has been put on indefinite hold. However, that has not dampened the spirits of the SCC ladies who have been faithfully training weekly at the Padang, rain or shine. While zone restrictions continue to be in place with five persons per group, the ladies have been working hard on mastering their technique, passing and moving effectively into space. Additionally, they have been steadily building physical fitness with sprints and conditioning exercises every week. Off-field, the team has been enjoying getting to know each other better over post-training sessions at STUMPS while overlooking the majestic view of the Padang. The team is continuing to see new faces joining in every other week and we look forward to a growing community of women who love football socially and competitively.
