1 item verbally appraised for $3.00 or 2 items verbally appraised for $5.00. First come, first served. Appraisal fee on the day of this event is your admission and supports the Friends of the DeWitt Community Library. Light refreshments served. DCL Annual Healthy Living Senior Fair Friday, October 25, 2013 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm D C L S e n i o r F a i r

The DeWitt Community Library’s Senior Fair is bigger and better this year. More than 50 exhibitors from area organizations, agencies, and businesses will be on hand to share information about their services and programs for Seniors. Free screenings for blood pressure, hearing, and spine will be offered, and Seniors may attend lectures in the Library on topics of interest to them. The exhibitors are scheduled to be in the main corridor (2nd Floor) of ShoppingTown Mall with an informational/ greeting booth in the JCPenney's Court.

This summer, the DCL Friends sponsored 7 Special Family Events to promote the summer reading program. The Friends also sponsored a program on “Green Beret Medic, Vietnam and Life Afterword” and on “From Small Ale to Big Lager: Changing the American Palate, 1880—1960.” The DCL Friends purchased video equipment to be used for future programs, including the Library’s memory book and the teen video projects.
