The McAllen Chamber All About Women Committee, along with sponsors the City of McAllen; Law Office of John David Franz; Linebarger Attorneys at Law; Embassy Suites by Hilton McAllen; Rio Grande Regional Hospital; The Warren Group; and Socialife Magazine, hosted the annual McAllen’s Legendary Business Women Luncheon on Thursday, May 27 at Embassy Suites Hotel. The women honored this year were McAllen attorney Katie Pearson Klein; Laurie Lozano, co-owner of Dairy Queen restaurants; and Dr. Fredericka Borland. They were interviewed by Naxi Lopez of The Monitor about their experiences as they developed their business careers.
