Help reduce our calls! We are aware that getting through to the surgery is difficult at times. We are trying different things to alleviate the situation. We have recruited more receptionists and are still advertising for more. To help, you can contact us via our website for non-urgent enquiries. Try our NEW Treatment Room option online for advice on minor illnesses and injuries. You can also complete some annual review forms (you may not need an actual appointment) request medication and ask questions-available to all users registered online.
Appointment Invitation Service Some of you might have started to receive appointment invitation links. This service enables us to invite patients for different reviews or tests needed such as: Bloods, Cervical Screening, Blood Pressure, NHS Health Checks, Vaccines, Diabetic Reviews & Family Planning Clinics. We are adding more of these as we get used to using the system. Please click on ‘book appointment’ to do so.
New ECP ‘Emergency Care Practitioner’ We welcome Vicky our new ECP who is joining the team from this month 4 days a week. Conditions include • UTI • Cough/ chest infection • Ingrowing toenails • Rashes • Skin infections • Shortness of breath • Shoulder, back, knee, hand, neck pain (if new) • Sinusitis • Sore throat • Headaches • Genital thrush • Earache Appointments will initially be a telephone consultation, with a follow up Face to face appointment if necessary.
