Mary’s Church

Services: Every Sunday in Church: 9.00am. Sunday Morning Prayer. A 20-minute service without Holy Communion/sermon. 10.00am. Parish Communion and Sunday School for children. First Sunday of the Month: 8.00am. Said Communion 9.00am Sunday Morning Prayer 10.00am, Parish Communion and Sunday School for children. 4.00pm. Tea Time Praise for young families. Wednesday Service in Church 9.45am. Parish Communion: a 40 minute service. Monday-Saturday in Church 9.00am. Morning Prayer Service. A small group gathers in church for 20 minutes.

Christenings/Baptisms Will be held at 2.30pm and 3.30pm on the 4th Sunday of the month. Please contact Sara Clark to discuss dates and arrangements. The Annual Memorial Service is on Sunday 31 October at 3.00pm. This is an opportunity to remember with thanksgiving our family members and friends who have died. The vicar will read out the names of loved ones who have died in this and previous years. All Welcome. The Winter Fair will be held on Saturday 6 November 2.00pm-4pm in the Church Hall. Do come along.

The “Creator & Creation Concert”, an hour-long recital of songs both secular and sacred, will be held at St Mary’s Church on Saturday 13 November at 2.30pm. The soprano Peaker Min-Min will be accompanied on the piano by Richard Heyes with Alex Mnatzaganian. This is a walk-in event and donations can be made on the day to St Mary’s Church by cash, cheque or card. For more information contact stotfoldparishchurch@gmail.com. The Remembrance Sunday Service will be on 14 November at 3.30pm in St Mary’s Church. Members of the public are asked to gather at the War Memorial at the Stotfold Cemetery on Mill Lane by 2.30pm for the service which begins at 2.45pm. There are no restrictions on the size of congregations and there is no need to book. We encourage adults to wear face coverings and request that they are worn while singing.
