CHECKERBOARD COOKIES RECIPE BY CHEF SUZANNE
INGREDIENTS For Vanilla Dough:
1 cup unsalted butter 1 tsp. vanilla 1 cup powdered sugar 2 1/4 cups flour
DIRECTIONS 1. Roll the vanilla and chocolate doughs into rectangles at equal size.
2. Brush water on the chocolate dough and place vanilla dough on top.
3. Cut the rectangles into 5/8 strips.
For Chocolate Dough:
4. Arrange the remaining strips on the water-washed strips,

5. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes until light golden.
