Message From the ...

Hey, Coyotes! I hope you are all staying safe and doing great. We can’t wait to start off the new school year with you all! This month, I decided to feature a couple of our talented keyote members! I’m sure many of us have picked up a new quarantine hobby. Other than that, let’s make the best out of this school year!

Sincerely,

“Throughout quarantine I've picked up cooking. I'm no good, but it's pretty fun to prep all the ingredients and cook it. The eating parts most fun too! Sometimes it doesn't turn out well, but I think that's part of the process of learning and getting better at cooking.”

“Lately, I’ve been spending a lot of my time baking! I’ve been baking mostly breads such as Pan De Sal which is a traditional Filipino bread roll or banana bread. I started to really enjoy baking because it relieves my stress & it’s a great way to occupy my time during quarantine. I plan to sell my pastries to close friends & family that have been wanting to try my bread! As for that, I’m not sure if this spark in baking will turn into a business, though who knows!”

“One of the many hobbies I’ve adapted was drawing/painting. Majority of the time my creativity comes from music whether it’s the album cover art or the meaning behind the lyrics. As of right now I’m working on a painting of a scenery in London I believe. Its very tedious and time consuming with all the different shades of colors and trying to get the lighting right but it’s going good so far. I come from a family that can draw and paint the craziest pieces. It’s truly inspiring to see them replicate famous paintings or create a scenery from their mind. It really is more than just a hobby to me, it’s not a passion it’s just in between.”

“So recently, I have been doing many creative things cause I have so much time in my hands. A hobby I’ve been practicing is painting/ drawing. I have been doing this since I was young, and I enjoy doing this because it calms my mind and it’s fun.”
