Exports Increased in 2013, Expectations are Positive for 2014

The year 2013 will be remembered as a year of vicissitudes regarding Türkiye’s political, social and economic life. Despite these developments throughout the year, the Turkish textile and the clothing industry has managed to capture an increase in production and exports. Turkish textile sector, in the whole of 2013, increased its exports by 7% compared to the previous year and provided a turnover of 8.4 billion dollars.
