Well, cuss! Here we are. 22 years and 265 issues after our initial issue in August of 1998. It has been one helluva journey, or should I say “ride”? Whatever! It has been an adventure to say the least. I think we have experienced the buffet of good times and bad, documenting the history of motorcycling in the Carolinas. We have seen the birth of businesses, economic down turns, friends get married and some get divorced, too. We have seen a bunch of startup magazines and even some well-established national publications fade into the rearview mirror of time. We have shared joy, heartbreak, and even death on our pages. It truly has been an adventure. However, we cannot take all the credit for our success. We have had and still have a staff of dedicated salespeople and contributors along with many loyal advertisers to mention who all helped make it happen. Looking forward, we are in it for the long haul and will continue publishing The Carolinas’ Full Throttle Magazine every month and on time! We hope that as many of you as possibly can will come celebrate our 22nd Anniversary/ Bike Night with us at our office (711 W. Main Street, Jamestown, NC) from 6-9pm on August 11th. See the display ad in this issue for more details. We hope to see you then and for the foreseeable future. Ride on !

Better Than Pumpkin Spice
By: P.J. Davis When you think of the fall season, there are a lot of things that come to mind. Halloween, Leaves turning colors, cooler temperatures, and pumpkin spice flavored everything. If you choose to dress up in weird costumes after raking your yard while telling your Mom to fire up the furnace before she leaves to Starbucks, that’s your choice. But there is another way to send off summer and honestly, it’s the way we prefer. The Outer Banks Bike Fest 2020! Trust us when we say that it really put a stick in our spokes when the decision was made to change our ever-so-popular Bike Week due to the pandemic. We wanted to make sure all the biker guys and gals, along with their families, as well as our dedicated staff were safe and healthy, But while we planned on rocking out with Bike Week, the time off gave us a chance to power up for Bike Fest. The local Sheriff said we can start the noise complaints on September 23rd and carry it on ‘till the 27th. Grab your kids, pack up the family car and your saddlebags and start heading towards the HD icon of the Outer Banks in Harbinger at 8739 Caratoke Hwy. Throw that in your fancy GPS and just rip up the asphalt until you feel the ground shaking and see the sea of chrome! We ain’t having no social distance get-together with 10 people or less. We are expecting for 1000s to come out and cause trouble with us from morning at 9 am each day until we see the blue lights. There will be all kinds of stuff to get into throughout the days so you can be an early-bird or a night owl. From vendors to make your bike and you look good to the scheduled H.O.G rides so you can show off your gear that you have to explain to your wife later. We all get hungry. Outer Banks Harley-Davidson has that covered with food trucks and tents and when you’re ready to hang with us for awhile, toss the wife your keys and let’s hit the beer tent before rocking out with the live bands. While you mosey around, remember; you are at a Harley Dealership. Just because we are partying in the front doesn’t mean we can’t do business in the back. Outer Banks HarleyDavidson has over 100 badass machines in stock. You’re bound to stumble across one that makes you forget the one you rode
in on. Once you convince the “ole lady” to let you buy a new one, Outer Banks Harley-Davidson can work the magic needed to get you to the party, in the office and down the road on the Harley-Davidson of your dreams. How you ask? Well, you’ll just have to stop by. Magicians never reveal their tricks! Now of course because it’s us, you should know we didn’t stop there. Even with all the grub, tunes, bikes and beer that will be at the dealership, the party stretches into the Outer Banks itself all the way to Nags Head Harley with some more distractions along the way. Nags Head Harley-Davidson (4104 S. Virginia Dare Trail ) will have the demo truck! That means you can test ride that 114 CI Street Glide you’ve been dreaming about using to replace your wife’s car in the garage. Want to try something new? The demo truck isn’t just a truck; it’s a fleet. You got a fighting chance at the 2020 debut models too. Not far down the road is the newest addition to our family; First Flight Harley-Davidson (1808 S. Croatan Hwy). You won’t be able to miss it since they will have a tent to hide their own party from the local authorities and if you feel the urge to fire up your bike, they’re also hosting a charity ride. Grab you some new threads and show it off. Not enough? There will be other businesses scattered about the OBX that are aiding and abetting us! Still not enough? Feel like getting away for a bit? North Carolina isn’t the only place we roam. We have an iconic dealership in Portsmouth, Virginia as well. Bayside Harley-Davidson / Bayside Ducati is planted at 2211 Frederick Blvd. We packed that building full with over 100 machines as well and it’s always a party. Wanna make it an even longer trip? District Harley could be a good spot for ya. Set in stone at 7830 Airpark Rd in Gaithersburg, Maryland. With BMWs, Ducatis and of course, HarleyDavidsons in stock, there’s more than you can shake a v-twin at. 2020 has been a rough one. But like all of our customers, you can knock us down but you can’t knock us out. We plan on making the best out of a bad situation and just like when you claim a new Harley, we WILL deliver.

Renegade Cycles Grand Opening By: Lincoln Infield
Beck, owner of Renegade Cycles located at 1003 S. Main Street in Dobson, NC, has been riding motorcycles since he was 19 years old. His passion for motorcycles led him to start building custom bikes from the ground up with help from his son, Chance, and his friend Shannon Davidson of the Chopp Shop. Unfortunately, Chance passed away during the inaugural build. Shannon finished the bike for Nick and the “Chance Bike” went on to be featured in Easyrider Magazine and picked up several awards The success pushed Nick to go on to build 2 more bikes that featured Shannon Davidson paint and were also featured in Easyrider Magazine. In 2018, Nick went on to build a couple fat tire bikes on his own, using his trucking company, Beck Trucking, as his HQ. In a move to create Renegade Cycles, Nick bought out Mark Snider of Busted Knuckle Inc., brought in his inventory, ick
extensive parts collection and Mark’s knowledge to start the new venture. Mark is overseeing the shop and is still turning wrenches to keep bikes on the road. July 11th, Renegade Cycles hosted their grand opening party. Nick’s daughter, Mattie, who works as the office manager put together a full day of entertainment with the help of the Renegade crew. The River Ridge Band were set up on a flatbed trailer in parking lot, and kept the air filled with tunes from 12-4pm. Hot dogs, chips and water were available along with a Tap Truck to keep you hydrated. The tap truck was running three taps: one Bud Light, One Budweiser and one Coors and they also had a cooler full of Truly Hard Seltzers. The 200+ person crowd drained the tap truck and only left behind a few hard seltzers. Everyone who showed up was given a free raffle ticket for some excellent raffle prizes that included a $265 KST Kustoms gift card, 2 free oil change certificates, a

L-R: Lincoln Infield, Maggie Infield, Mark Infield, Molly Infield & Dave nyone who has celebrated an anniversary knows
that each year, the date brings back a flood of memories. This holds true for our family in regard to Full Throttle Magazine. Back in 1998, Mark and I had two teenagers at home and one in college. We started with an August issue and all three kids pitched in to help. We needed a lot of help back then because neither Mark nor I had any computer experience, but the kids did, of course. To this day, Lincoln’s enthusiastic and determined attitude has carried the magazine through some serious upgrades and expansion. Matter of fact, he’s quickly becoming the helmsman of this ship. The Lucas and Lydia still help out a lot, especially at the monthly delivery of new issues, Fear of February parties, and bike nights. The real trip down memory lane happens when we pull out old issues and review the assemblage of advertisers. It’s been a thrill to watch their businesses grow, celebrate their own anniversaries, move to larger premises, and know we were on hand to report on their development. We, along with our sales staff, were witness to many of their events and committed that history to print. Along the way, we enjoyed getting to know the owners and their partners and staff. I want to thank the many of our long-time advertisers. It’s been a pleasure to serve your advertising needs as we continue to relish your success and we plan to continue same with our newer clients. Of course, we’ve had a lot of help along the way in the form of local sales reps. We have been so fortunate in the reps that have been around for years and enjoyed their status as ‘the Full Throttle rep’ in their areas. They have contributed greatly to the success of the magazine by their faithful service to their customers and enthusiastic reporting of events. Even the short-
timers made valuable contributions and hopefully enjoyed their time with Full Throttle. Thanks to all! But the motorcycle lifestyle is the real story. What a great time we’ve had in 22 years, riding the Carolinas, and attending the best biker parties on the east coast!! There was Plum Krazy’s Summer Bash, the Cherokee Rallies, the Carolina Harley-Davidson Dealer’s Association rallies at Myrtle Beach, Maggie Valley, and New Bern, the Smoke Out, Thunder in the Smokies, Capital City Bikefest, Outer Banks Bike Week, Myrtle Beach Bike Week, the drag races at ‘The Rock’, Easyriders Bike Show Tour and Easyriders Rodeo, and the Turkey Rally at NMB. Some of these are long gone, some are paused due to the covid crap, but they were all great. Then there were all the other biker parties, bike shows, and toy runs…..The Carolinas’ Full Throttle was there. Most assuredly, The Carolinas’ Full Throttle Magazine is far from done. We are relishing the 21st century as we continue to diversify into the digital world without abandoning our base, our monthly print magazine with the best listing of biker events in our Cruisin’ Calendar. Each year as we begin work on the August issue, we delight in the fact that we can celebrate another year in business, grateful to our advertisers and sales reps. Here we go for another year, after all, print is the only media you can refer to at will. Come along, and if you want to join us either as a contributor or advertiser, just call or email. You can send in your event or riding adventure article and be a part of the Carolinas’ Full Throttle Magazine’s continued recording of the history of motorcycling in the Carolinas. By all means, pick up a copy at your local biker friendly business.

Greenville SC Star Chapter June Ride By: Bill Gallaway
Star Touring and Riding Greenville, SC Chapter 352 invaded Georgia for their monthly ride. It had been a while with the coronavirus “stay home” orders putting a stop to our rides as well as a record of over 20” rainfall, for the month of May; so needless to say, we were ready to get out. Our ride on June 13th took us to the Suches Loop. Some call it the Georgia tail of the dragon. We met in Seneca, SC at 8:15 a.m. and after coffee, snacks and gas, had kickstands up at 8:45 a.m. There were 6 bikes, 9 riders and 2 in a cage. It was a beautiful spring day with sunshine and temperatures in the 70’s to low 80’s. We weren’t the only ones with the same idea because when we arrived at Two Wheels of Suches there was close to a hundred riders already enjoying their ride and lunch. Two Wheels of Suches, aka, Two Wheels Only, is a great stop for a burger or sandwich and onion rings or fries. Even with the crowd of bikers there when we arrived, we ordered and had our lunches within 15 minutes. he
The ride home was pretty much the same after completing the loop. Next month a ride to Waynesville, NC is planned. We will see if our plans work out. For more information go to www.facebook.com/startouring.

Bike Night With Dysfunctional Tyrants MC By: Len “3 Wheel” Montgomery emember waaayyyyyyy
back before this Coronavirus mess? Back before our Governor had put a halt to…well, pretty much everything? Well, I do. The Dysfunctional Tyrants MC of Harnett County had just planned to sponsor a bike night at Throwback Thursdays in Dunn, NC. To be held the first Thursday night of each month, the first bike night went off without a hitch. The place was packed full and everyone was having a great time. A 50/50 raffle raised money for a local church’s food bank, the drinks were flowing and the food was great as usual. But once the pandemic was declared, the bike night had to, understandably, come to a temporary end. After a three month hiatus, Bike Night with the Dysfunctional Tyrants MC was back on for July 2nd beginning at 7pm. And since I wanted to both eat AND take photos, I arrived
early to place my food (and beverage) order. That’s right, I may have had a drink or two on the job (but who’s counting). First off, the staff at Throwback Thursdays is great. The bartenders are very friendly, poor a good drink, and are easy on the eyes. The food is freshly cooked with every order. And there is a nice variety to choose from. Everything from excellent appetizers to burgers to wings to quesadillas. Pool tables and darts provide plenty of distraction while you wait. But on this night, DTMC had arranged for a very special bit of entertainment; Axe Throwing! Fat Axe Throwing Company pulled in and within minutes had everything set up. It was a slow start for the axes. But once a few of the ladies stepped up with some impressive throws, the guys jumped right in there going head to head. And a wager may or may not have taken place (shhh). For $10 each, players could throw a round. But for $20, players got unlimited throws, almost like going to a theme park. I didn’t get the opportunity to throw an axe myself. But it looked like a lot of fun and I will be on the lookout for the opportunity in the near future. The guys with Dysfunctional Tyrants put on one hell of a good event. Their next Bike Night will be August 6th, 2020, again at Throwback Thursdays in Dunn, NC. I can’t wait to see what they have in store for everyone that night. Come on out and have a good time. If you can’t wait that long, Dysfunctional Tyrants MC of Johnston County will be hosting Open House most Friday nights in Garner, NC. Reach out to a member to get further details for all of their events. And always support your local 420.

Ride For Charlotte By: Mike Humbles precious little girl wearing a pink tutu was
excited to see her birthday wish come true on Saturday (7/11).Charlotte wished to see a “moto-tyco pa-wade” for her 2nd birthday. She loves pink flamingos and motorcycles. Her front yard was filled with pink flamingos and her neighborhood was FILLED with over 100 motorcycles!!! Special thanks go out to the all-female Road Sirenz chapter of the Chrome Angelz motorcycle riding club for organizing this fundraising event. Charlotte recently completed her first year of treatment for B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. She has undergone two bone marrow aspirations and countless doses of chemotherapy. It was a heartwarming event for a cause that tugs at our heart. I ask that you keep Charlotte and her family in your prayers. Bikers gathered at Tobacco Road Harley-Davidson in Raleigh where they registered, prayed and were led by some great road warriors to Charlotte’s home. The police department as well as the fire department helped us all get around the town and into the neighborhood. Tina Salmon of Chrome Anglez presented Charlotte’s mom, Jessica Lalas, with a check for $5485. As tears flowed, she said, “It’ll pay
off half of what we owe right now!” She told us that Charlotte will be in chemo through October 2021.“She takes chemo at home daily, and then she gets chemo through her spine and through her port, every 12 weeks. “It was a very emotional moment for everyone as we all joined together and sang
Happy Birthday to Charlotte. (If you are in a position to help with their medical bills, please follow the Chrome Anglez Road Sirenz Facebook page for any events and/or opportunities to help Charlotte. Any amount will be appreciated.) From Charlotte’s home, we rode to the Locked & Loaded Bar & Grill in Garner, NC for some great food and fellowship. Thank you all at Locked & Loaded for the excellent service! I know it may have been a bit overwhelming, but like always, you did a great job taking care of us! Thank you, Denise Southerland and Tina Salmon and all the members of Chrome Anglez, Tobacco Road Harley-Davidson, and Locked & Loaded Bar & Grill for a fulfilling ride with my fellow bikers!

Crimson Crusaders Biker Breakfast By: Wally Wersching n Saturday morning June 20th, the Crimson Crusaders Motorcycle Ministry held their Biker Breakfast from 8:00am to 10:30am at the Family Life Center of the Landmark Baptist Church in Shelby, NC. I arrived at the church at about 9:15. There was already a crowd of bikers there. I placed a stack of The Carolinas’ Full Throttle magazines on the sign-in table and was greeted with warm smiles. I knew a few of the group, but they are all friends now. We talked, and laughed about a lot of things, and then went in to eat a great breakfast. I watched as the food was being prepared. The food had to taste good because the cooks were all smiling during cooking. There was a lot of love mixed in with the scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, and the like. As I ate my breakfast, I noticed a few more friends coming in. Some were from other biker ministries, and others were from local motorcycle clubs. The whole biker community comes together for an event like this. We all sat and talked for a while. It was a very relaxing and
giving atmosphere. It is always enjoyable to just sit and talk with friends. Seems to me that we don’t do that enough. I walked outside to talk with a few more bikers. Carolyn and Roger from the “Warriors for Christ” MM in Gaffney arrived. We had a pleasant talk as they slowly walked toward the breakfast line. It’s always good to see them. Carolyn was one of my students when I was a rider coach for Harley-Davidson many years ago. We’ve been friends ever since. That’s when I met “Pops”. He’s a member of the “Armored Saints” Motorcycle Ministry. I noticed his cap said that he was a US Marine veteran. We talked for a while about our military experiences. We were both very thankful that we were not involved in combat. Then we talked about our bikes. He seemed impressed with my description of “Miss Vickie”, so we walked over to her and he sat on her. He couldn’t believe how low the seat was, and
www.

how comfortable the seating position was for him. We are both about the same height, and “Miss Vickie” is a perfect bike for us. I said my good-byes and left about 10:00. It was a great way to send a Saturday morning – with good friends, and good food too!

Good Words Or Bad? With all the hate crimes going on in the world today, what has run through your mind and what words have come out of your mouth? Myself, I’m guilty of saying some ugly things about people and the way they’re acting and the things they are getting away with. You know we think of stuff and before we realize it’s out our mouth, and it’s too late then. We can’t take it back. We need to guard our thoughts, because what forms on our lips our mouth let’s it out. We might not like when people try to correct us. Our feelings get hurt, but if it’s done in a nice and correct way, we should be thankful someone cared enough of us to want us to be better. Don’t divide up against each other, but instead get together and pray for each other. Boy, that tears the enemy to pieces because he wants to see you mad at each other. Psalms: 141: 3: Set a guard, O Lord over my mouth; Keep watch over the door of my lips. 4: Do not incline my heart to any evil thing. To practice wicked works with men who work iniquity; and do not let me eat of their delicacies. Christians and people in general just lay in waiting for you to do something wrong so they can throw it up to you. Matthew’s 12: 33-37. 33- Either make the tree good and the fruit good or else make the tree and it’s fruit bad, for a tree is
known by its fruit. What your heart is full of shows by coming out your mouth. 34- Brood of vipers! How can you being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. There are 2 kinds of people: good and evil. 35- A good man out of the treasures of his heart brings forth good things, and evil man out of the evil treasures bring forth evil things. Remember what comes out of men or women you’ll have to be accountable for. 36- But I say to you that every idle word men or women may speak they will give account of it in the day of judgement. 37- For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned. Something to remember words are a container of helping or hurting. Always encourage people, don’t beat them down. In His Wind, Ms. Pat

Hogs Gone Wild At Shady Side Dragway Story and photos by Alan Dockery acers from across the
country came to Shady Side Dragway, Boiling Springs, NC, for Hogs Gone Wild Harley Bagger Racing on the second weekend of July. Oh, Man was it hot and muggy in the pits, but the real blazing action went down on the drag strip. Roger Edgerton manages the HGW points series with races at a few tracks on the east coast. He is helping to standardize classes and rules for the street bike based series. Harley Bagger Racing is cool since the bikes are closer to what we ride and you don’t see wheelie bars. Bring your quick bagger and they will find a class for you to race in. One thing fans like about HGW and bagger racing is the rivalries and challenges. Since this type of racing evolved from street racing, there are several guys who challenge each other to “grudge” matches during the weekend. Sometimes for big money side bets, too. But lots of those racers who came to North Carolina to take home the champion belts and money left disappointed. Local Carolina boys put them on the trailer and earned the wins. A1 Cycles owned by Mike Beland in Maiden, NC, had an impressive team of race bikes at Shady Side. They won four of the main classes at Hogs Gone Wild. And a few of the wins came on bikes built in less than a week before the race. Eddie Hans is new to HGW but took the win in the Beginner and ET classes. With Joe Gladden, Eddie helped build two bikes that they brought to the strip with no prior testing. Joe’s bike was the purple standout machine that consistently went down the track. He rode it hard to take the Street Class win against some heavy hitters in bagger racing. 20 Years In Business By Appointment Only

The big race on Saturday was between Mike Beland on “Meth Beth” and Assim Chaudhry riding “King Kong”. Modern turbo machine versus older proven bike spraying nitrous oxide. Harley drag race fans know “King Kong” as the baddest bagger on the planet racking up 36 wins and zero loses over the last several years. Racers had to put up at least $5,000 for Assim to bring the bike out for a challenge. Even though he took their money, the last couple years his focus has been on his Hot Street bike and “King Kong” was retired to the garage. Well, Mike and “Meth Beth” have been busting records lately and that brought “King Kong” back to the strip. The two serious racers and good friends faced off in the Pro Street Class semi-final round. The fans packed the sides of the strip.
www.
FullThrottleMagazine.com
I think Gregg Dahl, the builder and tuner, had set “Kong” on full kill mode with lots of nitrous. When the spray kicked in the bike hooked up and tried to fly. But you can’t get down the strip quick with the front wheel high in the air so Assim had to back off. Mike posted good numbers for the run in the hot and humid conditions to take the win. This was the first time fans have seen “King Kong” get beat. Mike and Assim have planned a rematch for $10,000 at Assim’s Hogs Gone Wild race August 16 in Pennsylvania. That race should be live on Drag V Twin on You Tube. Hogs Gone Wild events are family friendly and have lots more than just racing action. There was a bike show at the end of the pits near the Joker Powersports area. A sound contest brought out bikes with massive stereos to see who could blast the crowd the best. There were Burnouts For Breast Cancer where anyone could get on the strip and smoke it up. If you needed a break from the kids, there was a play area and bounce house for them. But we made kids the center of the show when they faced off for a Power Wheels race. Local bands played Friday and Saturday for folks who wanted to sing along and dance. One thing I like about more racially diverse events is the food. Instead of burgers, hot dogs and BBQ, I was chowing down on fried fish, chicken and okra. Harley Bagger racing is growing and becoming more like professional racing. You may not be a racer but have a quick bike. Come on out and they will find a class for the you to race in. That past champ can always lose for many reasons and you take a win light.

Good-Bye Smitty By: Wally Wersching n May 20th, CBA/ ABATE Western District Coordinator Tim” Smitty” Smith was in the hospital, in a medically induced coma due to a heart attack. Over the next month, his wife of 19 years, Cindi, aka “Chicken Wing”, kept us informed of his condition by posting on the Cleveland County CBA/ ABATE Facebook page. There were some encouraging signs but Smitty couldn’t get well enough to have surgery. On June 20th, at around 9am, Smitty passed away peacefully. I’ve known Smitty for quite a few years, and he always had a smile with a good word when we met at a CCIB or CBA function. He was very involved in the CBA and went to the state capital every year to help get some laws changed or enacted. He was a strong believer in biker’s rights. “Smitty” was also a member of the Cleveland County Independent Bikers (CCIB). After he passed, the club wanted to show their appreciation and love for him by having a Celebra-
tion of His Life at the CCIB Land in Mooresboro, NC on Saturday, June 27th from 6- 7:pm. I arrived at a little before 6pm to see many of “Smitty’s” old friends standing around talking about him. His old Harley had his CCIB colors draped over the windshield, and his blue high-top sneakers were on the bike’s floorboards. “Smitty’s” ashes were in the urn on the table along with a few pictures of him, and awards he was responsible for acquiring for the Cleveland County CBA/ABATE Chapter over the years. The service began with Mike Gettys, pastor of the nearby Full Throttle Biker Church, on stage, then some of “Smitty’s” old friends along with his brother went onstage and talked about “Smitty”.
Some of the stories were funny trying to remember “Smitty’s” free spirit. Everything that they said was positive. The service ended with a prayer with comments on how “Smitty” was now riding on “streets of gold” in heaven. He will be missed by all who knew him, and countless others he would have helped with his CBA/ABATE work on Biker’s Rights. Good-Bye Smitty!

Bikers Win Big In The House, Preparing For Senate Version For Immediate Release July 1, 2020 Motorcycle Riders Foundation oday the full House of Representatives passed H.R. 2, Invest In America Act (Moving Forward Act), also known as the highway bill. The bill is over 2,000 pages and includes five beneficial provisions for motorcyclists. At every step along the way, the Motorcycle Riders Foundation (MRF), our State Motorcyclist Rights Organizations (SMRO) partners, and individual members have fought for the inclusion of these policy changes. The original bill included an increase in motorcycle safety funding; however, this was the only specific mention of motorcycles or motorcyclists. During the Transportation Committee markup of the bill, protections related to profiling, autonomous vehicles and the Motorcyclist Advisory Council were added via amendment. Finally, during the final vote on the House floor, an additional amendment was added that helps collect data on motorcycle profiling. With the passage of this bill in the House of Representatives, focus will now turn to the Senate. The Senate will likely roll out its own version of a “highway bill” in the coming weeks. The House and Senate will then have to negotiate and compromise to develop a bill that can pass both chambers and be signed into law. Remember, the current legislation expires on September 30, 2020, so Congress must act to ensure important transportation programs are funded. After the final vote, MRF President Kirk “Hardtail” Willard stated, “I am pleased that in this massive 2,300 page piece of legislation passed today, the rights and freedoms of motorcyclists were not ignored. Let’s now take the same enthusiasm and passion that won us these victories to the Senate. Our
work is not done, we must remain vigilant in the defense of these hard fought priorities.” We at the MRF will fight to ensure that these hard-fought victories in the House of Representatives are included in the Senate’s bill. Thank you to everyone who reached out to their Representative over the past few months. These victories for motorcyclists would be impossible without the grassroots efforts of our members. Let’s celebrate our successes and get to work on making sure the Senate follows suit. Below is a brief recap of the five provisions that the House of Representatives has now passed and included in this major piece of legislation: Profiling: An amendment by Congressman Troy Balderson (OH-R) during the committee process changes federal law to prevent state and local governments from using funds from the Department of Transportation to “profile and stop motorcycle operators or motorcycle passengers using as a factor the clothing or mode of transportation of such operators or passengers.” A second amendment by Congressman Tim Walberg (MI-R) and Congressman Michael Burgess (TX-R) added the term “mode of transportation” to a newly created grant program for racial and ethnic profiling. The program allows states to use federal money to collect data on traffic stops. Originally the only information that states were required to record was the driver’s racial and ethnic makeup. With this added language, states will be required to collect the “mode of transportation” of the person being stopped as well. Motorcyclists will now be able to review state data on traffic stops and determine if motorcyclists are stopped disproportionally by law enforcement.

FullThrottleMagazine.com
This amendment was a joint effort by the Co-Chairmen of the House Motorcycle Caucus and was added just hours before the final bill was passed. Motorcyclist Advisory Council: Congressman Mike Gallagher (WI-R) used the committee amendment process to re-establish the Motorcyclist Advisory Council (MAC) and make needed changes. The MAC has existed for over a decade and allows federal policymakers, state highway officials, and motorcyclists to discuss the unique demands of riding a motorcycle and how roads, bridges, and other infrastructure can be built to better account for motorcyclists’ needs. Congressman Gallagher’s addition to the bill creates dedicated seats at the table for motorcyclists’ rights groups and manufacturers. It also requires a report every two years to be made to the Secretary of Transportation and Congress. Autonomous Vehicles: During the committee process, Congressman Troy Balderson (OH-R) won protections for motorcyclists in the rollout of autonomous vehicle technology. The bill now includes specific language requiring that when the Department of Transportation conducts safety studies on autonomous vehicles, motorcycles must be considered as unique roadway users. Additionally, a newly formed working group on autonomous vehicles must include a motorcyclist safety group as part of its mem-
39
bership. As with the MAC, motorcyclists need a seat at the table when our safety and freedoms are being debated. Motorcyclist Safety Funds: The bill, as first introduced, would increase the 405 safety funds made available to states for motorcyclist safety by $1,473,285 for the next fiscal year with increases through 2025. This is an increase in the program of roughly 34% over current funding levels. Under this bill, the total amount available to states in the next fiscal year would be $5,761,785. About Motorcycle Riders Foundation: The Motorcycle Riders Foundation (MRF) provides leadership at the federal level for states’ motorcyclists’ rights organizations as well as motorcycle clubs and individual riders. The MRF is chiefly concerned with issues at the national and international levels that impact the freedom and safety of American street motorcyclists. The MRF is committed to being a national advocate for the advancement of motorcycling and its associated lifestyle and works in conjunction with its partners to help educate elected officials and policymakers in Washington and beyond. Joker Powersports 2nd Annual Anniversary Party By: David Burnette
2 previous attempts, Joker Powersports was finally able to have their 2nd annual anniversary party on June 27th. It was a pretty awesome day to get out and cut loose after being under quarantine for a few months. I think everyone was just happy to be getting out and enjoying a little time and fun with friends they haven’t see in a while. Seems we were all cooped up for the winter and just as soon as we were getting some good riding weather, COVID 19 put the brakes on everything. Everybody’s events were canceled for a while, but thank God, we were able to have a day of great weather for the event. The sun was out, a nice breeze was blowing, and there was no rain. Last I heard, there were over 500 bikes there with around 800 people during the peak of the party. Everyone was in a great mood, no attitude, just lots of fun. fter
My buddy, Moonshiner Red Dog, was set up next to us selling tee shirts along with other moonshiner memorabilia. He

said he had a great day and was looking forward to the next party. There were other vendors on hand as well selling their goods. I think everybody did pretty well. Guardians of the children MC provided a mock jail house cage and if anyone was nominated to be locked up, their friends had to bail them out all for charity of course Eight hundred dollars was also raised to help with funeral expenses for Tim (Smitty) Smith who had just recently passed away after having a heart attack. In addition to $1000 that was raised on July 5th , a total of $1800 was donated. There was an awesome band playing,( Ziggy Pockets ).They played a lot of good old southern rock n roll and rhythm and blues. They were awesome. Over the last several months people came into the shop and registered to win a 2003 anniversary model Harley-Davidson Road King that was given away at the end of the day. A lady named Karolyn Hans won it. Needless to say, she was pretty excited. Originally, another guy’s name was drawn, but he wasn’t there which the rules clearly stated you must be present to win. I’m sure he’s kicking himself now, but it is what it is. Sometimes life sucks;) John and Kerri wanted to thank all their sponsors for helping them put on this year’s event: First Franklin Financial, Iron Horse Motorcycle Lawyers, Dirty Air Ride, ICC Customs and Amsoil. I don’t know about the rest of y’all but I’m ready for the next one;)

Missouri Governor Signs HB1963T Including Helmet Repeal
The Motorcycle Riders Foundation (MRF) http://mrf.org/ his afternoon, Missouri Governor, Mike Parson, signed legislation that would modify the current helmet law in the “Show Me State.” Freedom of Road Riders Legislative Coordinator Amy Allmon said, “Persistence actually pays off”. On Tuesday July 14th at 1:30pm Missouri Governor, Mike Parson, signed our helmet modification bill. Freedom of choice in Missouri!” The new law, which will go into effect August 28, 2020, allows motorcyclists to ride without helmets if they are 26 years of age or older and have medical insurance. When asked for a reaction, MRF Chairman of the board, Kirk “Hardtail” Willard had this to say, “The Motorcycle Riders Foundation celebrates today with the bikers of Missouri on their victory of freedom of choice. It’s incredible to realize the State Motorcyclist Rights Organizations have spent nearly four decades pursuing their freedom. Given today’s political environment this is truly rarified air. Ride Free Missouri.” Congratulations to the Freedom of Road Riders, ABATE for Missouri and all those who never quit in the fight to let those who ride, decide!

It is a right thoroughly enjoyed and preserved by South Carolina riders. This right to choose in no way disparages the helmet. Tim “Smitty” Smith Fish Fry Fund Raiser
Cindy “Chicken Wing” Smith & Tim “Smitty” Smith By: David Burnette n July 5th, the folks from Joker Powersports were out at Shadyside Dragway for the Harley Drag races and sponsored a fish fry fundraiser to help out with funeral expenses for Tim (Smitty) Smith, who had just recently passed away after having a heart attack. There was around $1000 raised that day. Along with the $800 raised at the Joker Powersports 2nd Annual Anniversary Party, that came up to $1800 raised to help out Smitty’s wife, Cindi (Chicken Wing) Smith pay for some of their expenses. I know it’s hard to lose a loved one, but it brings some comfort knowing people care. My prayers go out for Cindi and the rest of his family during this time. Thanks to those who gave. Y’all ride safe out there and remember don’t hold a grudge and hold your loved ones close. Let them know you love them because there may not be a tomorrow. God Bless ;)

Summer Fun Poker Run For Women’s Resource Center
Story and photos by Belinda Crane-Isenhower he Women’s Resource Center, Hickory, NC, held its first ever poker run style fundraiser event on June 27 and there was a great turnout in spite of the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions. It was a great day for riding, and everyone was cooperative in complying with the CDC’s latest rules and regulations. WRC is a 501 (c)3 nonprofit organization established in 1986 that has proven to be an invaluable asset to the community. Women’s Resource Center describes their center as “a welcome center and safety net for women in Catawba, Burke, Caldwell and Alexander counties”. They provide resource referrals, goal planning and mental / emotional health support through phone calls, appointments, support groups and
wellness gatherings. “We envision a world where ALL women have equal opportunities to thrive.” The run began with riders gathered at Blue Ridge HarleyDavidson for registration, and then proceeded to Women’s

Thereafter, the riders drew their next three cards at Café Gouda (Hickory), Crossroads Grill (Taylorsville), and Shell’s BBQ (Hickory) before returning to Blue Ridge Harley-Davidson for the final card draw, door prizes, 50/50 raffle and a silent auction. Over 78 local businesses and restaurants supported the fundraiser through donated items and gift cards for the door prize drawings! The silent auction consisted of several unique items donated from area businesses and artisans, including a 12” hand-crafted metal motorcycle, a motorcycle/ATV floor jack, a Harley-Davidson leather jacket, Keurig coffee machine, handcrafted beaded jewelry, an assortment of goodie baskets and more. Black Sheep Harley-Davidson for Christ member as well as Catawba Valley HOG member, Bob Langevin, won $187 from the 50/50 drawing and graciously donated his winnings back to the cause. The $250 prize for the “Best Hand” went to Catawba Valley HOG member, Jeff Hill, who also donated his prize money back to WRC, and Pam Wilson was the lucky winner of $50 for drawing the “Worst Hand”. Michelle Morgan, Executive Director of Women’s Resource Center, was overwhelmed by the amount of support given to this event, which raised $4,000 in much-needed funds for the Center. “I cannot express my gratitude enough to Blue Ridge Harley-Davidson and their Marketing and Events Manager, Bre McCoy, for hosting such a wonderful event for our

Ride For Cole-Man By; Gary Steelman
29 was a great day for a ride, warm, beautiful sunshine and fresh air. Bikes started rolling into STE Powersports for the start of the “Ride for Cole-Man”. Cole is a young gentleman with cerebral palsy who also has grand mal seizures. Cole had a service dog and it passed away. He needed a new service dog, but the cost is a staggering $20,000 to have a service dog trained to meet Cole’s specific needs. RedKnights Chapter 13 has been working to help Cole secure funds for this purpose, thus Saturday’s ride and auction. The ride began at STE Powersports in Statesville with hot coffee and doughnuts during registration. Then on to D&D American Performance located in the Denver Business Park of Mooresville. The riders then made their way to Blue Collar Cycle Company of Salisbury, NC. and then on to South Main Customs of Kannapolis, NC. Then the trek back to Mooresville and Shepard’s Volunteer Fire Department where the food and drinks were waiting. There were several raffles going on and there were a lot of door prizes to be picked up. It seemed like everyone got to take something home from the ride, from ball caps and wall clocks to TVs and several hardworking yard and garden power tools, i.e. weed eaters, Craftsman tools and DeWalt drill drivers. Then the auctions of custom handmade lamps une

with, of course, fireman themes. These were really nice lamps and brought hundreds of dollars each. The firefighters and support groups raised over $8000 in an effort to help this young man obtain something so needed for the quality of life everyone deserves. Hats off to The Red Knights Chapter 13 of Statesville, the Christian Motorcyclists Association, and so many other groups that sponsored and supported Cole in obtaining a service dog. See you all at the next ride. Congratulations “Cole-Man” and best of health to you.

A Cluster Of Spyders To A Sunday Worship By Wally Wersching
unday,
May 17, was going to be a wonderful day for a ride. The temps were to rise into the high 70’s to low 80’s by the afternoon under the bright Carolina Blue sky. I had to go for a ride - this time with no particular place to go. At about 10:00am, I was heading west on Rte. 74 when I noticed some motorcycles parked in a gas station. I stopped to say Hi, and give out a few of the Carolinas’ Full Throttle magazines. I was surprised to see that it was a cluster of Spyders. I learned that they were from the Mooresville-Statesville area heading to Landrum for lunch. There were a few restaurants open for dine-in there. They were a very friendly bunch of riders - both men and women. The Can-Am Spyder has been around for a few years, and is a great marvel of engineering. It has two front wheels, and one rear wheel which makes it much more stable than the origi-
nal style trikes. They are available in three basic models from under $10,000 to over $25,000. I rode one once at a demo ride. It was an experience. When riding the Spyder, I had to forget everything I had learned about riding, and handling a motorcycle. I guess that I would enjoy it after getting used to riding it. It was really different.
www.
FullThrottleMagazine.com
We all talked for a few minutes while I was handing out the magazines. The man who owned the touring Spyder offered to let me sit on it. It was very confining the way it was set up. He liked it that way, and said that it was also set up for riding his grandchildren around. I left heading west on Rte. 74. It was an enjoyable ride. I turned south on Rte. 9. I thought about going north on Rte. 9 to Lake Lure, but there would be a lot of traffic on a Sunday. The ride on Rte. 9 was very enjoyable. The road went past many horse farms. The Tryon International Equestrian Center
49
is nearby. Once into South Carolina, the scenery turned to double-wides, and small farms. I turned left onto Rte. 11. I wanted to stop at Strawberry Hill produce to get a couple cantaloupes for Cindy. After a few miles on Rte. 11,I pulled into the parking lot at Strawberry Hill. I was surprised that they didn’t have any cantaloupes. The delivery truck just arrived and the cantaloupes weren’t unloaded yet. Because the truck was really packed with produce It would take quite a while,– so I left heading east on Rte. 11. I turned left onto Rte. 221A, and went into Cliffside where I veered to the right onto Rte. 120. Rte. 120 ends just north of Rte. 74, but before that, I encountered the Full Throttle Biker Church in Mooresboro. They had just finished the Sunday worship, service and were walking around the parking lot. I stopped to talk with Mike – the pastor, and gave him some Carolinas’ Full Throttle magazines for his parishioners. We talked for a few minutes. It seems like his church is doing well. I knew it would because I know Mike. He is the leader – and a good one. I headed east on Rte. 74 into Shelby. Once home, I worked around the house until my son and his family came over for Sunday dinner to celebrate Cindy’s birthday. It’s always fun to see my granddaughter. I hooked a swing to one of our trees, and she loves to swing. It was a great way to spend a Sunday.

Ride In Peace, Ralph Porfilio 8/13/1949 - 7/13/2020
By: WildThing & Mark ne of the most distinctive
individuals that crossed our path was Ralph Porfilio. I don’t know much about his early life except for some stories in The Greensboro News & Record from the 1990’s. They stated he grew up in a tough neighborhood in Erie PA, joined a street gang as a teenager and a motorcycle gang. He took karate at 15 to become a better fighter. Apparently, that set him on his life course. He trained for years and became an instructor, opening a studio in Erie. When his father and brother passed away, Ralph traveled, worked at personal security, and eventually landed in Greensboro NC. He opened Goshin-Do Karate on Chapman Street in Greensboro in the early 1990’s. The News & Record stories tells of Ralph’s success in teaching kids and also giving free courses on basic survival techniques and self-defense to women after a female UNCG
Ralph & Mark, circa 1999 student was kidnapped in his neighborhood. We first met Ralph back in the day at ‘Hooligan’s in Greensboro, when it was the bikers’ Friday night place to be. Ralph was a charismatic person, and everyone wanted a few minutes to chat with him, almost like holding court. It was so much fun and laughter, with loud rock ‘n roll music playing thanks to the DJ, and the cold beverages flowed thanks to cute bartenders. When we started Full Throttle Magazine in 1998, I can’t remember if it was Ralph’s or Mark’s idea, but “Ramblings By Ralph” appeared in our first issue and ran each month for quite some time. His unique perspective on the biker life was committed to print. Now, I guess we can finally reveal that Ralph was the ghost writer for “Doctor Dipstick”, the biker’s answer to advice columns, until Dr. Dipstick around 2001. Just to give you a glimpse into his sense of humor here is an excerpt from: North Carolina Full Throttle Magazine Volume 1, August 1998: “We Need More Road Checks”, Ralph’s first submission: “I guess most riders would say that I’ve been around for a long time, spent a lot of miles in my saddle started riding bikes back in the 60’s, mostly Honda’s, then Triumphs. I threw my leg over my first Harley in ‘69. She was a beautiful ‘57 Panhead. Yep...paid $400.00 cash money for her! Rode that Pan Continues On Page #52

The Carolinas’ Full Throttle Magazine
Continued From Page #50 for almost 11 years, then in ‘79 got myself a brand spankin’ new Low Rider. I abused her for 12 years before investing in my present Softail. Most of my bros are bikers, but some are motorcycle enthusiasts (just learning) and I gotta tell ya’, we love to ride hard and party hard, we’re definitely a “Wild Bunch”. It’s our lifestyle. In my 30 something years of riding, I’ve witnessed a lot of accidents and a lot of death. On occasion it was my bro’s fault, but very rarely....which brings me to my point. In the past 5 or 10 years, have you noticed the drastic increase in road checks? I mean, I’ve been thru DUI checks, seat belt checks, drug checks, license checks and just about every other kind of check the government could throw out there to get more money. I’m even waitin’ for the day the government will start havin” house checks to see if I’m doing anything in my own home that may cause me harm. Like taking a shower without wearing my helmet or not cooking my food thoroughly.”…. Ralph also penned articles with names like “Firetrucks Make Too Much Noise”, ‘Blowin’ In The Wind, “Bikers Have More Fun Than People” Snake For President”, “No Crybabies”,“Stay Outta My Lane”, “Don’t Forget Your Potato At Bike Week, ”Lead, Follow Or Get Out Of The Way”, and too many more to list here. Some of you may have read them when they first came out. At any rate, these bits of “Wisdom” are now part of Ralph’s legacy. Sometimes Ralph used “numb nuts” to affectionately describe some people he hung out with or those he considered stupid. I also think Ralph invented the word(?) “unedumacated”! I guess the next chapter in his legacy was the Original Wild Bunch. I am not sure of any firm startup date, but they/we sure had a big time along the way! Ralph was the founder and considered as the defacto “President” of the OWB. Others may disagree, but that is neither here nor there. With the Wild Bunch, it was all about motorcycles and fun. Ralph defined the Wild Bunch like this: “First of all, the Wild Bunch is not a club. It’s just a lot of numbnuts like you and me who sat down one day and came up with a plan on how to have a “FREE” party for all of the giving people. That’s right! A FREE PARTY! Who is the Wild Bunch? We’re all the Wild Bunch! You, me, everyone that wants to take a break from their work and daily routine and have some fun and enjoy their life.” Alcohol may have been a factor. Jack & Coke was Ralph’s libation of preference and sometimes he would accept a fifth of “Old No. 7” as payment for his articles. Ralph loved the “lifestyle”. He was quite a character! I could go on and on, however, space restrictions will only allow me to include so much. I am sure many of you can add stories of your own, but this is just our way of paying tribute to Ralph.
Comments by Mike Austin, (famous proprietor of Plum Krazy in its heyday): “I heard that Old Ralph died today. He was a special old guy, a real biker that lived the life. He wasn’t one of those loud, drink too much, throw bar stools kind of guy that so many preconceive old bikers to be. He was a quiet, intelligent, kind old guy with a subtle sense of humor that made him a pretty special old guy.” I once walked up to the entry way to one of our favorite old hang outs (Plum Krazy’s) and old Ralph was sitting outside on the old wooden bench by the front. door. I opened the door to enter and said, “come on Ralph I got the door”. He didn’t move, so I asked what was up and he told me the owners wouldn’t let him come in with his Wild Bunch club jacket on. I thought what the hell this old guy never spoke a harsh word to anyone, never drank too much and never acted up anywhere. Why would the owners keep him from coming in because of an old jacket. I spoke to a couple of his close friends (Billy Troutman and Wild Bill Sharpe) a day or so later about it and they confirmed that they had all been banned from the bar because of their Wild Bunch affiliation. Well, I had loaned the owners of that bar a substantial amount of money to keep the doors open just weeks before and they had promised me everyone in the riding community would be welcome there. I was pissed! Thanks to Old Ralph, Billy Troutman and Bill Sharp I ended up owning a bar that I just wanted to drink in, not mop floors, cook in the kitchen and work 7 days a week to keep it rolling. Turned out it was one of the most fun times of my life, it was like throwing a party for all our friends every weekend without having to clean up by myself and pay for all the beer. I’ll have very fond memories of this old guy, and as we all age and get closer to our final destination I hope people will speak as highly of me as they have of old Ralph. You were a class act in crusty old leathers. We’ll miss you man! -Mike & Bonnie Austin

The Carolinas’ Full Throttle Magazine
The Carolinas’ Full Throttle Magazine staff screens hundreds of jokes each month. We make no claim to being politically correct. Most PC jokes just aren’t funny. If you are offended by any of the jokes on this page, take heart in the fact that we go to great lengths to offend everyone equally. This is not a hate crime! At our house we call it “pickin” and it is symbolic of your acceptance in the group. We live in the United States Of The Offended, so get over it!!
unconsciously formed a habit of whistling softly. The middle-aged lady upon whom I was performing this exam suddenly burst out laughing and further embarrassed me. I looked up from my work and sheepishly said. . .’I’m sorry. Was I tickling you?’ She replied with tears running down her cheeks from laughing so hard . . .’No doctor but the song you were whistling was Oh, I wish I was an Oscar Mayer Wiener.’”
they applied. After about an hour of trying to make it go, they putted into a nearby marina, thinking someone there may be able to tell them what was wrong. A thorough topside check revealed everything in perfect working condition The engine ran fine, the out-drive went up and down, and the propeller was the correct size and pitch. So one of the marina guys jumped in the water to check underneath. He came up choking on water, he was laughing so hard. Under the boat, still strapped securely in place, was the trailer!

It is the month of August, a beach town on the Carolina coast during the Covid 19 pandemic, looks totally deserted. And it is raining. It is tough times, everybody is in debt, and everybody is living on credit. Suddenly, a rich tourist comes to town. He enters the only hotel, lays a $100 bill on the reception counter, and goes to inspect the rooms upstairs in order to pick one. The hotel proprietor takes the $100 bill and runs to pay his debt to the butcher. The butcher takes the $100 bill and runs to pay his debt to the pig farmer. The pig farmer takes the $100 bill and runs to pay his debt to the supplier of his feed and fuel. The supplier of feed and fuel takes the $100 bill and runs to pay his debt to the town’s prostitute who in these hard times, rendered her “services” on credit. The hooker runs to the hotel and pays off her debt with the $100 bill to the hotel proprietor to pay for the rooms that she rented when she brought her clients there. The hotel proprietor then lays the $100 bill back on the counter so that the rich tourist will not suspect anything. At that moment, the rich tourist comes down after inspecting the rooms, and takes his $100 bill, after saying that he did not like any of the rooms, and leaves town. No one earned anything. However, the whole town is now without debt, and looks to the future with a lot of optimism. And that, ladies and gentlemen, is how the United States Government is doing business today. Customer: I can’t get on the Internet. Tech support: Are you sure you used the right password? Customer: Yes, I’m sure. I saw my colleague do it. Tech support: Can you tell me what the password was? Customer: Five dots.
As a new, young MD doing his residency in OB/GYN related: “I was quite embarrassed when performing female pelvic exams. To cover my embarrassment I had
A man was sitting on a lawn sunning and reading, when he was startled by a fairly late model car crashing through a hedge and coming to rest on his lawn. He helped the elderly driver out and sat her on a lawn chair. “My goodness” he exclaimed, “you are quite old to be driving!” “Yes” she replied,” I am old enough that I don’t need a license anymore. The last time I went to my doctor he examined me and asked if I had a driver’s license. I told him yes and handed it to him He took scissors out of a drawer, cut the license into pieces and threw them in the wastebasket.” ”You won’t be needing this anymore,” he said. “So I thanked him and left.”
As I left the hardware store the other day, I was fumbling for my car keys and could not find them. They weren’t in my pockets. Suddenly I realized I must have left them in the car. Frantically, I headed for the parking lot. My wife has scolded me many times for leaving my keys in the car’s ignition. She’s afraid that the car could be stolen. As I looked around the parking lot, I realized she was right. The parking lot was empty. I immediately called the police. I gave them my location, confessed that I had left my keys in the car and that it had been stolen. Then I made the most difficult call of all to my wife: “I left my keys in the car and it’s been stolen.” There was a moment of silence. I thought the call had been disconnected, but then I heard her voice. “Are you kidding me?” she barked, “I dropped you off!” Now it was my turn to be silent. Embarrassed, I said, “Well, come and get me then.” She retorted, “I will, as soon as I convince this cop that I didn’t steal your damn car!” July 4th weekend down on Lake Norman, largest man-made freshwater lake in NC, some folks new to boating, were having a problem. No matter how hard they tried, they couldn’t get their brand new 22 foot boat, going. It was very sluggish in almost every maneuver no matter how much power
A man entered the bus with both of his front pockets full of golf balls and sat down next to a blonde. The puzzled blonde kept looking at him and his bulging pockets. Finally, after many such glances from her, he said, “It’s golf balls.” Nevertheless, the blonde continued to look at him for a very long time, deeply thinking about what he had said. After several minutes, not being able to contain her curiosity any longer, she asked, “Does it hurt as much as tennis elbow?” Linda 26, a resident of Chicago, was visiting her in-laws in South Carolina and, while there, went to a nearby supermarket to pick up some groceries. Later, her husband noticed her sitting in her car in the driveway with the windows rolled up and her eyes closed, with both hands behind the back of her head. He became concerned and walked over to the car. He noticed that Linda’s eyes were now open and she looked very strange. He asked her if she was okay, and Linda replied that she had been shot in the back of the head and had been holding her brains in for over an hour. The husband called the paramedics, who broke into the car because the doors were locked and Linda refused to remove her hands from her head. When they finally got in, they found that Linda had a wad of bread dough on the back of her head. A Pillsbury biscuit canister had exploded from the heat, making a loud noise that sounded like a gunshot, and the wad of dough hit her in the back of her head. When she reached back to find out what it was, she felt the dough and thought it was her brains. She initially passed out, but quickly recovered. Linda is a blonde, a Democrat, and a Hillary supporter, but that could all be a coincidence. The defective biscuit canister was analyzed and the expiration date was from 2016, so it was determined to be Trump’s fault.
