Itayasu, Takahiro

One day guri and gura went to the depths of forest to search for ingredients. They picked up an acorn and a chestnut in a big basket and discovered an unexpected thing when gathering. Surprisingly, a big egg fell into the middle of their path. They decided whether they should have a fried egg, an omelet, or make castella. They put all the ingredients in a bowl with butter and wheat flour. They whisked them with milk, flour, sugar and then guri and gura, poured the contents into a frypan. They baked it to make castella.

I like this book because I like the appearance of the pancake and the animals of the forest and it is a peaceful place.

The reason that chose this book is because I read it with my grandmother before bed, and and I read it by oneself even in the daytime. It’s a memory from my childhood.

I don’t have it in my house anymore, but is one of my first memories as a child.
