My favorite picture book is The Cat That Lived a Million Times. This picture book’s hero is a cat. He was reborn a million times. A king had him once. A sailor had him once. A circus had him once. He lived millions of lives. Owners loved him and was sad when he died. However, he never loved his owners. He was reborn a stray cat and loved a white cat who didn’t look at him. he knew what love was. So, he didn’t want to be reborn again when she died.
Yoko Sato wrote The Cat That Lived a Million Times. She wrote a lot of picture books and won awards. She passed away ten years ago, but books which she wrote are loved people of all generations.

My favorite part is when he came to know real love and chose not to be reborn. I read this part and felt sad. But he had a lot of experience, he loved her and changed his mind. Love is excellent. However, I feel empty and sad inside when he dosen’t come back for more. By all means, please do try and read this book for yourself too because I think each person feels differently about this picture book.
