My favorite picture book is The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. I will introduce the outline of this story. One day, the main character Dorothy was flown from Kansas to the eastern country. To return to Kansas, Dorothy headed to Oz with the Scarecrow, the Tin woodcutter, and the Lion, who had wishes. She was commanded by Oz, and Dorothy and his colleagues joined forces to defeat the terrifying Witch of the West, but Oz turned out not to be a wizard. Finally, the Witch of the South appeared, she said, even without the Wizard of Oz, she had already fulfilled the wishes of the scarecrows. Dorothy was able to return to Kansas.
My favorite scene is when Dorothy’s house flies away, and lands on the witch. And I thought it was fairy tale wonderful that the Witch of the North came and put on her silver shoes to fulfill her wishes.
